Pros: Rooms were nice. Buffet breakfast is good. Staff work hard. Cons: NO BEACH! Beach is literally fenced off with barbed wire due to some financial dispute I am guessing. Was not disclosed at the time of booking. Barely any resort activities as the place was almost deserted. Restaurants largely closed. The one we ate at for dinner was not good with a huge wait between different dishes. Overall not a 5 star resort. Seems like it needs a refresh.

This was an amazing resort, staff were second to none. I would totally recommend this resort if you don't mind being a little outside of busy Nha Trang, however this resort will provide a complimentary shuttle bus twice daily and if outside the alotted shuttle bus times, a taxi will cost approx €8 and the hotel will arange this everytime for you. Would definitely visit this resort again.

Staff was so kind and helpful, very good english. We got am upgrade in room and of our requests were granted. The Bangalo room is so comfy and has a great bathroom which reminds a spa itself. Also tbe Songlo Spa was so great. Best massage in all of the 6 massages I got during my stay. Please make sure to reserve in advance as it is very popular. We wanted to do again before checkout but there was so slots available. Definitely going back again!

There was nothing that I really like about this resort overall. Very old, not well maintained condition. Whole resort landscaping looks horrible, wild death leaves were all over surrounding our villas and spa area.Small private beach area is extremely poluted due to the waste disposable area across the bay approximately 1/2 KM away. Garbage waste, plastic trash were litterilly on the beach area on this resort surroundings.Water is not safe for swimming, its cloudy and muddy.Breakfast buffet has the same varieties ecxept for the pho noodles.Restaurant service is terrible, not attentive and slow service on food orders. Food tasted horrible. When we first checked in our hotel room - Ocean View Villa I DID NOT LIKED the room at all as the room is facing a public toilet /bathroom with a bunch of bush covering the pool area and there is barely any beach view for what we pay for. We can hear where the kids and adults were loud at the pool area that is in front of us. 👎👎👎👎👎 So we complained and requested to change to another villa. Checked in villa 6101 was not any better as the bathtub is filty dirty with bugs and flies. Toilet seat with pubic hair. Room view is also facing a public toilet and the beach in front of us is full of trash and water is polluted and not swimmable.👎👎👎👎👎. Free bicycle rental is only free for 2 hrs a day and very limited bikes availabe and all of them are rusty and in old condition.

Ok experience

Experience started off well with a friendly welcome but after that it was pretty much downhill, room was fine but nothing special. All the processes of paying was painfully slow within all areas in the restaurants and check out. Only 2 of the restaurants at the resort were open so we need to travel in to Nha Trang to eat. We ate at the restaurant the first night and was told that ordering a meet dish would take two hours!!

Good breakfast, good shower, very nice pool area.

Decent resort, breakfast and pool area excellent. Rooms slightly dated. Chose a large room (bedroom, living rooms separated by door) humongous waste of space of the living area by odd wooden furniture and lack of electrical outlet to use a laptop. Shower excellent though. For a biz traveler shower, bed and food is key and as good as the breakfast is the food at the restaurant is tragic. Pretty pictures and poor cooking.

The location on the water and the grounds and pool were great. The hotel restaurants provided good food and the prices were not too bad. There were no local shops that I saw. However, on the downside, the AC in the room was not very effective which made the evenings uncomfortable. Also the WIFI signal was very weak in my room and it made working very difficult.

We were there at the end of April which is low season. 2 of the restaurants were closed limiting the dining options in the evening, my wife loves fish and we really looked forward to dining in the seafood restaurant but this was closed. The hotel is a little out of town with a free bus but we did not really think much of Nha Trang a s a whole. The hotel upgraded our room but the air con seemed to struggle which meant we were warm at times, i did not raise this but wish i had. The pool is massive and was v clean the sunbeds were comfortable and plentiful.

Water at main beach in bay not that clear due to lack flow in the bay. Second beach is much better but a pain to get to as it is at least 25mins walk if you don't catch the only shuttle bus first thing in the morning as there are no other buses during the day. It's very well organised. Also you have to take the hotel towels to the second beach but this is not well advertised. Staff are very kind and helpful and the pool is huge with depths to cater for all needs.

I am sure if I asked reception would've sorted it for me. Beautiful, relaxing getaway. Not to far from Nha Trang central, about 200,000dong taxi fair.

Almost all the facilities look worn out and old. The hotel´s pictures appear very nice at the Expedia Web page, but in reality the facilities look far from that. It is understandable that all hotels try to show their “best faces”, but in the case of the Diamond Bay Resort & Spa, it was completely false advertainment. There were several abandoned areas, for example, a couple of restaurants and parts of what use to be like an amusement park. There were some maintenance jobs going on, but they appear superficial and insufficient. The rooms’ furniture was old and very simple. The towels at the Gym were horribly bad-smelling and the equipment -which was minimum- were also filthy. The “private bay” beach was not really clean and we did not dare to go in. Its pictures in the Expedia Web page were obviously photo-altered to look far better that in reality. This hotel desperately needs millions of dollars to reach the 5-star level that it falsely and pretentiously bares. The hotel is 30 minutes apart from everything in the city and the free transport to center city was insufficient, therefore, some people couldn´t get in. At the end, we has to pay for taxis. All the above-mentioned elements made this a very disappointing experience. It was not the good bargain as it appeared when we signed up, it was dishonest advertisement. The hotel employees were very kind. The pool was well-kept and clean. The vegetation was beautiful, and the food at the Banana Leaf Restaurant was good.

Also massage prices at the spa was very expensive compared to other resorts lve been to in Vietnam. It's actually double the price. Room wise need more cushions on the seats in the living room.

Amazing resort with friendly staff

Our stay at Diamond Bay report and Spa was very comfortable and quite pleasant. I would stay there again as the hotel is amazing with spectacular grounds and location. The staff are very friendly and helpful although my only negative would be the service - and not from the lack of trying. It just took a long time to get served whether you were at the restaurant or by the pool which made it hard given how hot it was and thirsty one gets in the heat. This did get better as we became friends with one of the wait staff but for a resort of this size, I believe they should have been all over their guests and not waiting to be sought out.

Fantastic Place For A Recharge

We booked this resort as it looked like it was going to tick all of our boxes to have a relax and recharge. Once we arrived out of the taxi the staff greeted as and from that moment on everyone was so friendly and happy to help. 5170 is the primo bungalow to stay in. We had a couple of issues at first with our jacuzzi being broken (in which they came to fix straight away) & house keeping missing our room once but apart from that it was good. Staff more than happy to help. The pool is so big you feel like your the only one in it in fact you feel like you are the only one in the resort it’s so quiet. The restaurants are very well priced and so are the cocktails (with the 15% tax they work out roughy $8 aud. Hotel offers shuttle buses into town or they can organize you a taxi that costs roughly 200000 VND.

Excellent resort!

Stayed for four nights and loved every minute of it. Our preference is for villa style accommodation over high rise hotel rooms so Diamond Bay Resort & Spa suited us perfectly. Mountains on one side, beach on the other & beautiful pool in the middle. Was just a short drive out of Nha Trang city making it an idyllic quiet place to relax away from the noisy city. Excellent breakfast. Only feedback if there could be an additional complimentary shuttle to Nha Trang city in the morning, as currently there's only one at 9am. Thanks for a really great stay!

Paradise!

My friend and I stayed at Diamond Bay July and August 2015. It is heavenly! What do you need to know? The resort is about a half hour form the airport (costs about 500,000 dong in a cab), and about 20 minutes from Nha Trang ( there's a free hotel shuttle five times a day). It's located on a private bay, with two private beaches and one HUGE swimming pool. The grounds are like a tropical paradise. We stayed in a garden bungalow, which was perfect! We had 2 very comfortable double beds (that's a huge bonus in Asia!), a TV with lots of western cable channels, a lovely balcony to sit and relax on in the afternoon and a HUGE spa bath! The resort itself is absolutely stunning, perfect for a quiet relaxed break from it all. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, all spoke English very well. There are 3 restaurants and a shop on site, with reasonably priced food, the same price as downtown Nha Trang, so it's affordable to stay on site all day if you choose. Especially after you have eaten the HUGE buffet breakfast! There is also spa and a large gym on site, and twice daily claseses such as yoga, kayaking etc. I read some of the other reviews and have to say we almost let them sway us into going somewhere else. Thank goodness we didn't! This place is gorgeous...we couldn't fault it. I say give it a try!

Built in 90's and didn't change since than

We went at the beginning of January to Diamon Bay, and when we arived we got first a room on a ground flor, in first line from road, with view on a wall. To make stay even better we had a terrible smell of humidity, old furniture and I even don't know what else. For $170 a night I expect High standard not old communist room. After intervention at the reception (where we no english speak good, yes yes, sorry don' understand) we where moved to bungalow, which were as old as room but with higher standar, no bad smell and in first line but from the sea this time. Still room condition was good for a hotel (especialy in WIETNAM not Paris !!) which cost $35 a night not $170 ! What was really nice about hotel are two beaches which had incredible view. For some people it doesn;t matter, but what is also worth considering, hotel is dominated by Russians (90% of people in hotel) so if for someone it is a problem, than and recommend other hotel... ok to be honest, I recommend to everyone other hotel cause value to money is TERRIBLE !!

Nice resort but is Russian favoured

The pool is lovely but the resort seems to cater mostly for people from Russia. (99% of the guests. They were very pushy and rude. Literally would push you aside). Staff were very nice. Slow service. Lovely spot though.

Catered for Russians

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and found the whole hotel was catered for Russians. Not being racist or anything but the staff didnt really pay attention to any other nationalities. They had Russian menus too.

Nice pool and in room spa bath

The hotel is not bad, limited food options as one of the restaurants is under reservation. When they say restaurants close at 10 that means lights out, so you need to be seated and order before 9.30. The Vietnamese cuisine restaurant is worth a visit. A limited menu but good food. Beach was average. Room was clean and has a very large bathroom with shower and huge round 'jacuzzi' type bath. In general the service is fair and you can book day trips for snorkeling etc from the hotel. They have a shuttle service to and from town but only limited trips per day. Shuttle also goes to the Egg mud baths which is worth a visit. Otherwise there is no other points of interest or shops in the vicinity of the hotel. Overall the hotel is fine perhaps a little over priced for what they offer.

would love to go back!!

Don't usually bother writing reviews to be honest, but was very surprised to see some bad reviews on here so thought we should add our opinion in. We stayed for 3 nights having booked and got a great rate on hotels.com, I think quite a lot cheaper than the going rate usually is. We stayed in several other hotels with this star rating whilst in Vietnam, and this was easily the best. Absolutely beautiful setting, though you are quite away out of town the free shuttle is very handy, there was no point queueing for it as if one bus filled up they put another one on. A taxi back from town was also not too expensive. Breakfast was exceptional as was the service from the very friendly staff. The room was very clean modern and all that you would expect from a quality resort. One review mentioned that they thought it was strange they were left a bowl of limes in their room, these are actually green Asian oranges which are very tasty. Unfortunately we can't comment on dinner as we went to the beach restaurants in Nha Trang.

Lovely resort, terrible service (without a smile)

This is a really nice resort in a very peaceful setting, 9km outside of Nha Trang. It's a large resort, with good facilities including a huge pool, spa, private beach and many restaurants. The rooms were spacious enough, clean and well maintained (although our "Garden View" was more of a "Highway View"). It's clear from the title of this review that we weren't impressed with the service. There was no one specific incident which left me annoyed, rather the service staff in general seemed to be permanently dazed and confused. Everything took a really long time and often we had to ask a second time because our request had disappeared into the ether. Further, the service was rarely with a smile, which to me is very Un-Vietnamese. It's clear the staff are less used to dealing with English speaking guests - most of the signage around the resort was in Vietnamese and Russian, and the vast majority of guests seemed to be Russian. I think this resort is targeted very much at the Russian clientele, and unless you are Russian, or you otherwise consider smiling to be rude, I'd recommend looking somewhere else.

Isolated resort that's overpriced and noisy

Everyone at the hotel was Russian. They assumed we were as well - spoke to us in Russian, gave us menus in Russian. Nothing against Russians but we felt a bit out of place. The resort is 15km from the town ($10 taxi ride each way). The resort offers bus transfers every 4 hours at rather inconvenient times. The nearest place to buy water/snacks is at least 45 minutes walk so you're forced to buy the overpriced hotel food/drinks of which the selection is quite poor. When we arrived we had dinner at the "live seafood bar" - we ordered spring rolls and wantons - they tasted like they'd just come out of a box and been dropped in oil. The hotel is very noisy (mostly from other guests but also from the excessively loud music they always play). We were woken up in the middle of the night by loud voices and doors slamming every night. As for the rooms - the tv was old, station selection was limited. The bathroom flooded when we took a shower and it smelt a bit. Nothing amazing about it. Beds were very comfy and sheets were soft. On the plus side - the pool was lovely! There was also a driving range (not too expensive) and a fitness centre (which we didn't use as the music was pumping too loud). The spa was very expensive and the price of laundry was ridiculous. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone unless they are Russian and they wqnt to go somewhere and stay there the entire time, that overcharges for everything and that feels like club med.

PERFECTION

WE ARRIVED AT DIAMOND BAY TO A GREETING NOT SEEN AT OUR OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS. THE STAFF COULD NOT DO ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE AND AT EASE. THEY PROCESSED ALL THE PAPERWORK WHILST YOU SAT AND ENJOYED A CUP OF ICED TEA AND BISCUITS AND THEN DROVE US TO OUR VILLA. THEY EXPLAINED ABOUT THE ROOM AND HOW EVERYTHING WORKED AND DURING OUR STAY MAINTAINED OUR ROOM TO PERFECTION. THE GROUNDS WERE A PLEASURE TO WALK AROUND AND THE SWIMMING POOL THE CLEANEST I HAVE SEEN. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT FOR BREAKFAST LUNCH OR DINNER. THE STAFF WERE PARTICULARLY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING.

Beautiful resort, disappointing service

Our overall experience at Diamond Bay was disappointing. The resort itself is beautiful, but the service really let down our stay. Interacting with the service staff was challenging. Although the menus were in three languages (Vietnamese, Russian and English), we struggled to find anyone who spoke enough English to be able to take our food and drink orders. Calling room service was also hopeless due to the language issues. Service at the restaurants was also slow, with us having to chase staff down to be able to order more drinks. After we were seated we we barely seen to again. The buffet breakfast restaurant was excellent, always great selection which changed daily. The dinner buffet was average though, bad drinks service, and the buffet trays were constantly empty and took ages to be refilled. The amenities at the resort were good. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. We were unhappy about having to pay to rent bicycles from the resort though (surely at the price of the resort some bicycle hire could be without charge). The shuttle bus to the city centre was only 4 times per day, which wasn't frequent enough. The shuttles were always full, and they could do with some more times. The room itself was great - we had a hotel style room rather than a bungalow. The bed was huge, and really comfortable. The room was always immaculately clean.

Only worth it at a low price

We stayed at this hotel over Christmas-New Year. Given it was peak period we booked it as the rom rate was well below other four stars even though mixed reviews in the past. Rooms were well maintained. Staff are friendly and try to please but my issue is more relating to management. Service for a four star is well below similar standard resorts in Asia. Staff do not seem well trained in hospitality and I link to this to inexperienced management not the staffs fault. Even after I complained to poor service regarding the Banana Leaf lunch bar by the pool I received the polite we are sorry but nothing changed. There is a lack of variety for eating especially for lunch. The Banana leaf bar is one of two options but expect to wait up to one hour for your food. I walked away after waiting 20 mins just to place an order. There are no apparent processes for staff to manage tables and is chaotic in the kitchen. Also serious lack of Vietnamese food to choose from so best to go into town for local food. Our boys loved the beach which is a short trip from the resort. It is not the hotels private beach contrary to how they promote it but is a nice way to spend some hours away from the resort and you can catch a wave! Checking out took nearly 30mins and that was at 6am in the morning so don't leave it to last minute. Facilities are a bit run down and I would only book this place if you get a far superior rate to others but having travelled extensively in Asia there are better choices.

Not worth the money

We got a good deal through hotels.com for what we thought would be a top quality hotel. Arriving at the reception area we could already tell the grounds weren't as nice as they should be. Our room was very plain though mostly comfortable and clean. The shower however had a lot mildew where the opaque window met the tile. There was a water boiler but no tea or coffee which should of been complimentary. The best parts of the stay were an amazing large pool with a beautiful mountain back drop and a large breakfast buffet. We were the only Americans, every other guest at the hotel was Russian. The food options at the restaurants were average and due to it being off season several weren't open. The spa was nice though the hot tubs in the changing room were not in use. The massage I got was good for the price, 20 USD. The ocean along the hotel isn't safe for swimming, not sure why. The hotel is far from town but that was what we wanted. The grounds were nice but not as beautiful as you would expect of such a place. The buildings for the cheapest rooms are large and uninviting. The nicer bungalows looked good but I only saw them from the outside. Won't return. Stay at the Novotel in town for luxury.

Diamond Bay Resort December 2012

Amazing resort. Larger than first thought, superb facilities and the rooms were great. We conducted a day tour with the resort which was well worth the extra money, have a go at the Countryside tour, they also let you customise the whole day to suit what you would like to do. They run a shuttle bus service to the city centre which takes about 15min one way. The pool is massive.

Beautiful location. Very very poor service.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen; between the mountains and the ocean. It has a massive, attractive swimming pool. The bungalow we stayed in was clean and comfortable but very expensive compared to other 5 star hotels we stayed in. The hotel is out of town (about $10 by taxi) so you tend to rely on the services of the hotel a lot and there is the problem. Food quality was decidedly average for the price and the level of service was extremely poor. Its like the staff are all not getting paid enough and dont really want to be there. We had a far better, and cheaper, experience staying at the Sheraton in town

Excellent pool and facillities but lot of russians

Very nice resort with everyting you need. The pool was great and not over run so there was enough room for everyone. If you wanted to swim in the ocean you have to go by shuttlebus for 10-15 min, but they leave every 30 min so it is ok. The houses are huge and very nice and clean. Staff is nice but cleaning staff impatient so they began cleaning our room before we left. That is rude. If you don't like russians then stay away from Nha Trang. 90 % of the visitors are russans.

Awesome quiet resort outside of town

This was the perfect place to relax during our long stint in Asia. The grounds were beautiful and the room was pleasant. The pool was the largest I have ever seen in my whole life, it took three pictures to capture its entirety. The food was pretty bad when ordered off-menu, so I recommend leaving the compound to eat food in town. My significant other went golfing on their private course and had a great experience. I visited the spa for a pedicure, and they were nearly booked completely, though I did get an appointment for two days later. It was the dirtiest equipment I have ever seen and it seems like laws are not enforced for cleanliness of tools, though I'm sure massages were great! Also, there is a small animal park near the back of the compound where you will find monkeys, peacocks and other animals in random cages if you take a short walk.

Great Hotel in need of a good Head Chef

Staff go out of their way to help despite limited English. They cooked food specially for the baby. We had 4 villas, which were large, clean and very comfortable. Two items that should be addressed by the hotel are: 1. Quality of the food - A good Head Chef should be hired. The quality of the meals let down the resort very badly 2. Shuttle to the City - The shuttle should be run every hour. The hotel keeps promising that they will be adding more shuttle services, but they have not done it.

The Right Place at the Wrong Season

We were very pleased with our resort room. It was everything it boast to be. Only downside to our stay was the weather and the dinner banquet. We chosed the wrong season to visit Nha Trang that was our fault, but the food for their dinner buffet was nothing to talk about. Food was ordinary. However, breakfast was excellent with lots of Western/Asian varieties. We would return to this resort again if we have another chance. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended

I would highly recommend Diamond Bay, it was the perfect place to relax & unwind...following on from a busy, action-packed week which involved a number of early starts in Bangkok, Siem Reap/Angkor Wat & HCMC (Cu Chi / Mekong Delta). The resort/complex was of a high standard & everything was extremely well kept. The pool was huge & had lots of shaded areas around it if you wanted a break from the sun; whilst there were also a couple of options for food &/or drinks poolside. There was also a shuttle to the beach (albeit we did not go there). The room was clean, of a good size & only a 2-3 minute walk to the pool, restaurant, reception. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of options (both Vietnamesse & Western) whilst the staff were very nice, helpful & efficient. Always on hand to help if you needed them (without ever being over-bearing). There is also a free shuttle to & from Nha Trang which takes roughly 20 minutes...however on the one occassion we visited, we found it to be pretty trashy. I would definetley recommend staying at Diamond Bay as opposed to Nha Trang; they are worlds apart. Diamond Bay is quiet, relaxing & well as I said at the start the perfect place to unwind.

Great place to go and forget about the outside world

I enjoyed my stay at the Diamond Bay Resort and believe it to be a great location for couples. I did not give the room a 5 rating (highest) because I did notice water damage to the wall that needed repair. I believe these types of details need to be address before guess arrive. The staffing from the grounds keepers to management are well train with an implacable desire to delight you with great service. I had a special needs diet (vegitarian) and they were able to accommodate without reducing quality or presentation. Additionally the variety of dishes are bountiful for breakfast and dinner. If you visit Vientnam and expierence the city life make sure you book a few nights here to relax.

Diamond Bay - 4 1/2 star hotel with 1/2 star service

Stayed at Diamond Bay for 3 nights in April 2011 and will never return or recommend to others. Staff were ignorant bordering on rude & not at all helpful. Hotel is a 20min bus ride from Nha Trang & if you want to travel to/from the city outside of the 5 scheduled times each day be prepared to pay around US$25 for a return trip. Overall the hotel itself is very nice and the work put in is beautiful. Sitting by the pool proved to be our favorite activity within the hotel walls but again - no service! There were 4-5 staff standing behind the bar area in the pool bar/restaurant but they never seemed to come out to offer drinks or food more than once, even when our glasses were clearly empty. Diamond Bay is - put simply - a 4 1/2 star hotel with 1/2 star hotel service.

Great relaxing holiday

I stayed at the resort with my mum, and we were looking for a relaxing beach holiday. It was great to be out of the noise of Nha Trang City, but there were 4 free daily shuttle buses into the city if you want to go in to the beach or for dinner or shopping. It's about 15-20 minutes drive to get to the city. Service at the resort was great, staff were happy to help out and always greeted you when you went past. In terms of the rooms, we stayed in one of the 3 hotel blocks which are near the road (but quiet), and there also smaller one storey building with 2-3 rooms in them which are closer to the beach. The pool and beach at the resort are absolutely beautiful, and are still pleasant in the afternoon when a breeze tends to pick up, and the city beach can get a bit rough. The hotel also has another beach about 5 minutes away with free shuttles every half hour which is nice for a change of scenery. Breakfast was great with fruit, cereal, eggs and Vietnamese and Russian options. Dinner was fine, but it is cheaper to get the shuttle into the city and try some of the great restaurants there to have a bit of variety. If I was coming back to Nha Trang I would definitely come back to this resort again!

Beautiful location and surroundings

Our stay at Diamond Bay was an absolute pleasure. Initially we intended to stay for just two nights, but loved the place so much that we extended our stay for two extra nights. Although the rooms/villas and location are beautiful the resort isn't actually in town - although, they do provide a free shuttle to and from Nha Trang centre (about 15min trip). All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Minor gripes: AC units don't have remotes, some of the Russian tour groups were a little noisy, the pool closed rather early at 6pm, bicycle rental was a little expensive. Other than these small things, Diamond Bay is an great place to spend a few days relaxing from the hustle and bustle of Vietnam.

Beautiful location

FIrstly we usually avoid resorts, but if you do end up visiting Nha Trang Diamond Bay is pick of the bunch. Spectacular pool and scenery . The adjoining Golf Club is also nice if you want 9 holes or a hit on the range. On a $value scale probably not best value in Vietnam, we stayed at much cheaper hotels in other Vietnam cities where service and food was far superior. You are paying for the location here. One major gripe was the resort beach was"closed" for maintenance during our stay. I suspected a problem with the water cleanliness...We still used the paddle boats, kayaks etc but no swimming This resort is alo very popular with Russian package tours - these guys can be a bit rowdy ... The rooms are very comfy, with outragously decadent bathrooms. Wireless b/band was excellent if you byo laptop /phone. Although only a few years old some wear & tear eg of the 3 bungalows we booked 2 had leaking rooves. Also the Bathroom tiles can be lethally slippery.

Surprisingly Pleased

We were surprisingly pleased with this hotel. It was nicer that we expected. We used the free hotel shuttle from the airport. Upon arriving, hotel staff had drinks waiting for us while we checked in. It's surrounding by fantastic foliage, coconut, banana, and mango trees. The private beaches and pool were AMAZING! They even have a little shuttle that takes you to the other private beach. 3 out of the 6 days we were in Nha Trang, we spent at our hotel lounging, ordering fruity smoothies, getting massages at the spa. The breakfast buffet was FANTASTIC and service staff was more than polite and helpful. We also used the hotel's city air conditioned shuttle into Nha Trang. It's a short 20-25 route. The hotel had ample security guards and we felt completely safe at the resort. I would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, peaceful location. Staff was attentive and courteous. Pool and pool area spacious, beach beautiful though small. Any complaints we had were very minor -- after several days, food options seemed to be a bit repetitive. Also wish there were more activities organized/provided at resort. But if you're only staying for 3-4 days you will never notice it. I feel like anyone whose response is made up of complaints is focusing on very small details. Diamond Bay gets all the major stuff right. I am 7 months' pregnant so very sensitive to a bed's comfort -- I wish I could take the Diamond Bay bed home with me. # Hotel Review: The hotel is quite clean and has very nice gardens surrounding it. For the price I paid, , i think I got a very nice deal. However, the hotel is not really in Nha Trang city, its about 10 km away from the city, which makes it really unattractive if you would like to stay close to all the action. Great luxurious - but affordable - resort for a nice rest by the beach!

The hotel was really great. Normally I'm not a big fan of big resort processing hundreds of tourists per day but fortunately, there were only a few dozens of guests there at the time we stayed, so it felt pretty intimate. This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for: resting on a quiet beach or next to a nice big pool while drinking mojitos. The rooms were very luxurious and clean. On the downside, there is absolutely nothing free in the hotel and most of the staff have limited English. However, the attitude is really turned towards customer service, which is really appreciable! Overall the experience was really positive and I would definitely stay another week there sometime (providing the resort is as empty as it was)! The city is ~20 minutes away but it actually feels great to be a bit away from the buzz of Nha Trang its harrasment.
