Gem of a Hotel -- Excellent Location

Outstanding service, friendly staff. The breakfast buffet and afternoon happy are excellent. Interior and rooms are modern and friendly. Outstanding location near a metro station and the main train station make this hotel a good choice as a base for exploring Rome.

Great room! I was hoping for a little more of a view on the balcony, but there were buildings and construction around. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was walkable to the major landmarks. Great stay overall.

there were only about six rooms in this hotel, co shared with private residence. Steam shower needed remodeling tiles were coming up from floor. room was relatively small, no view worth seeing except adjacent building.

Hotel was good however not your typical American hotel. This is a building shared with other hotels (each floor is a different hotel). Cleaniness could be better in the bathrooms. Room was very spacious and location was in walking distance to restaurants bars and sightseeing. The service was truly amazing!

The hotel is in a centrally located area that has shopping and eateries. The reception staff are personable and very helpful. The room was clean with a large bathroom. The downside is the hotel needs to really be updated: -Tile had dents and marks in bedroom area - Draperies looked like rummage sale purchases - Elevator really slow and creaked If the updating occurs, I’d stay again but after a lovely boutique hotel stay in Lisbon and a 11 day cruise on a new ship, it was a disappointment.

After a long flight and finally making it to the hotel by train. We were very warmly greeted at the door by the staff. The host was very helpful and explained everything and answered any questions. A super bonus is we checked in way earlier which was so nice. The hotel staff really made us feel welcomed and at home in a far away country. The room was very nice and provided a clean and comfortable rest in between adventures. The area itself is in a convenient location near the A metro line, bus stops and the central station. There are easy to get to on foot food options and groceries for any small needs. The staff even provided us with a map and best way to get to popular locations. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and a pleasant way to start each day. This hotel truly created a great foundation for a wonderful trip. I highly recommend and would stay here again and again.

We thoroughy enjoyed our stay at the Dharma Luxury! The staff (Alessio, Simon, Andre & Anna) were amazing - so friendly and welcoming and always willing to provide advice about the best way to achieve our day trips, bookings and travel etc. The room was lovely and well-sized and nicely decorated and was not cramped and the bathroom was great. The breakfast (at the restaurant next door) was excellent with a full spread and excellent coffee. If we go back to Rome, we will stay there again. The location of this hotel is perfect as it enables walking access to so many sites and easy and quick access to the subway for those places just a little too far to walk. Restaurants in the near vicinity are excellent and very reasonably priced. Shopping (huge variety) is only a few streets away and will keep you entertained and busy!

Very small front desk area. Did not expect that. Check in was quite crowded, as we were with a group of people. The staff made it work. The Restaurant was really a separate entity next door, but they were hospitable there and accommodated guest needs quite well.

This property is a gem. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They assisted with coordinating travel between airport/ hotel - hotel/port. Offered us restaurant suggestions which were much appreciated. And the suggestions were very good. All the staff were very, very friendly. The hotel is well located with the Republican Metro station around the corner - Line A It is within walkable distances to the highlights of Rome such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum etc. Out room was very well appointed offering a safe, well stocked mini bar. Nice bathrooms with a large walk in shower, bidet and fresh towels daily. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast located at the Cotto restaurant which is right beside the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good offering both European and American style food. They also offer a happy hour again at the Cotto next door. Included in the happy hour is a drink and a good choice of pizza and focaccia. Across the street is a mini market where you can he has water, toiletries etc. We will return to this hotel when we return to Rome.

I booked a budget option and received a budget option so can’t be too surprised that this wasn’t an amazing experience. The outside of the window in the room was covered in fake ivy meaning there was zero natural light, coupled with dark features and poor artificial lighting. The walls had glitter paint and shower comically small, I was only staying one night as I wanted to be near the train station to shoot off early in the morning and I suppose it served that purpose. I was travelling solo and this hotel honestly kind of gave me the creeps a little bit 😅 spend a bit more and stay elsewhere is my advice.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the staff were great and the room was clean and comfy.

This was our third stay and we would come back again! We love the location of this property and the in room amenities are very nice. The staff is just top-notch! Cotto (restaurant directly next-door) is one of our favorites with breakfast and appertivo included daily. Just lovely.

Fantastic boutique Hotel

We loved this hotel , from the moment we arrived Allesio and his colleagues at reception made us feel most welcome , our junior suite was perfect , the only downside was the sauna did not work in the shower room which was reported but that did not spoil our trip and we would go back tomorrow !!

Friendly and very helpful staff, lovely room, extensive breakfast buffet, free happy hour snacks, convenient location. Highly recommend!

Everything about staying here was wonderful. Is such a cute boutique hotel. Felt like New York City in Manhattan (small but cute). Convenient and close to most. The front desk was truly exceptional. We were treated with excellent customer service. Rome was a good time. Glad we stayed here

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is excellent - close to Roma Termini and immediately adjacent to the Repubblica metro stop, and within walking distance to almost all major attractions. The staff are notably fantastic - attentive, welcoming, and enthusiastic. We stayed during a very hot time and they graciously made some adjustments to our air conditioning which made it much more tolerable. The room itself is very small and the building is older - as would be expected for a central location in Rome. There was a faint but increasing sewage smell toward the end of our stay which was also tough to overlook at times. The breakfast option was also very convenient.

Excellent service. Room is very clean and neat. Only 12 minutes walk from the train station.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was very well situated for walking to major landmarks or bus and train routes. Rooms were well appointed, tidy and comfortable.

Great trip as always. The only complaints I have are the pillows are hard and the street noise is too much!

Great location

It was a comfortable stay. The hotel is quite close to Roma Termini and yet also close to major attractions. The room is a bit small, but the bed is huge and comfortable. A tasteful building in a safe neighbourhood. Breakfast can be improved. But overall everything was fine, and staff was friendly.

The reception staff at Dharma were very friendly and helpful. We loved the bathroom which felt really luxurious with the rainfall shower head. Only negative that could be improved upon would be that our room was above the bin area and the workers could be heard very early in the morning ( before 7am) placing the bottles in the bins.

Very clean & the staff was amazing, helpful, & informative. Their restaurant Cotto next door also was excellent all around. My only issue was noise, specifically because of construction on a building next door and it was very loud starting at 5:30 am. I did not hear noise within the hotel itself.

Lovely staff, small but pleasant room.

We checked in on a Thursday for two night stay. At first everything seemed ok then the front desk took us to our room 101. Once we entered the room had a smell not sure what. He left we left our luggage and went down right away. I informed him that the room had a foul smell not sure where it was coming from and I need to change it. He said there is no other room available but he will check and see what is wrong and maybe next day he will be able to change it and that was it. For two nights same room same awful smell. Breakfast was not all that bread and backed items were not fresh. Fried eggs were soaked in fatty material oil or margarine but for sure was not butter. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

Great location. Can walk to everything in a few minutes. 5 minutes from Roma Termini. Excellent breakfast and attached restaurant. Very friendly and efficient staff.

I had a comfortable stay at Dharma Luxury Hotel in Rome. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful—especially Anna who checked me in. Housekeeping was also great and made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel restaurant serves a delicious breakfast to get your day started.

Great location ans you anre within walking distance to the metro and Roma Termini. If you are an Opera fan this it just a few hundred metres down the road. There are many retail shops to the right with options in places to eat a plenty (just be mindful of those that are tourist traps). Our check in process was extremely helpful and quick. Anna at reception is brilliant and helped point out where all the main attractions were with some tips on places to eat during our stay. We stayed for 3nights and unfortunately were without hot water for one night but staff did their best to keep us informed with updates. The building itself is older but they have renovated the rooms to make them more comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is very unassuming. We are there, once and it was one of the best dinners we had in Rome. Woukd highly recommend. The rooms are very cosy and aren’t ideal for two large suitcases but we made do. Comfort level was average and the lighting in bathrooms makes it very difficult to pop makeup on so would suggest to bring a hand mirror. As an FYI there is no iron and ironing board in room.

Really lovely staff and really nicely kept hotel. All very clean, modern and stylish. Small room but that's all that's needed as we were out seeing Rome. Such a good location to see all the sights but also great for getting trains and buses. Staff can't do enough to help. Will definitely return as they look after you well.

Beautiful property but most of the dining isn’t any good. The hotel restaurant is terrible. We had to walk a few miles to get to something more authentic and better food.

The are was really loud. Room are supposed to be sound proof and indeed, I never heard anyone from other rooms, but sound carried from the hallway and the street noise was rudiculous.

Amazing Service

Must say the customer service was beyond amazing! I believe it was the manager I did not get his name but he was so helpful providing me with everything I need for my accommodation I was late to the happy hour and he helped get it honored. He also helped keep my luggage for hours after my check out. The location is very convenient if you’re coming from the train station and your few mins from all the business stops to get to where you need to.

The room was to my expectation and the picture are representative of the room, highly recommending this hotel for anyone visiting the city of Roma, the subway and site to visit are all in a walking distance of the hotel will definitely comeback again to visit the rest of the city Ciao!

My family and I had a great experience here!! The staff was so friendly, helpful and overall just wonderful. The location is nearby to transportation so that was great too. The area is a 15 min walk to most of the toursity things. The room was spotless and modern. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Staff were top notch

The reason I give this rating is the room we were given was dark, so I opened up the window to let some light in and all the filth and garbage in the back that was there was very disappointing and not good for a guest to be faced with. This is not the first time I’ve booked thru Expedía and have had a bad experience. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly!!

A great hotel for a Rome trip. The location is great and a 30 minute walk to most attractions. The hotel is near Termini and the metro, also near the stops for the tour buses. All staff were very helpful and shared their knowledge of the city with ideas for dinner and tips. They filled the room with two waters every day which was amazing for the summer heat. The room had aircon which we left on and was well needed. Spacious room and lots of wardrobe space. The shower was nice and powerful although the bath tap was in the middle of the bath which made it slightly awkward to shower as i often bumped into it. I do wish there was a proper toilet door as the sliding one wasn't great. A mirror would also be helpful within the main space of the room. Bed was alright but i think as we did so much walking in the heat we were so tired. There was an odd sheet on the bed which never quite fit and moved about wrinkling. Every night we did have to fix it. A nice hotel overall!

The staff were incredible — the best we’ve had in Europe: friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room, however, was awful, and not like the pictures that were advertised. The window was tiny and did not let any natural light in; it was like staying in a closet.

Very comfortable facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Great restaurant next door too so after a long day walking around Rome we didn’t have to go any further.

We had a wonderful stay and the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and quiet, the shower even had a steam facility! Very central location, we would stay there again. My only concern is that there is a pending payment on my ZAR account of R5,231,08 but we already paid at the hotel EUR200. Please ensure to cancel the R5,231,08 payment in order to avoid duplication payment, I look forward to the confirmation from the hotel.

We really enjoyed our one night during our honey moon at the Dharma in Hotel. However, air-conditioning was on a timer, and was not very strong as the room was a bit small and noisy from the street. Location was excellent and we had a nice time overall. Breakfast was great.

Close to everything. DId not like certain things

Staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations for local eats and facilitating reservations. Good location, walking distance from the station and an easy stroll to most parts of central Rome. My room had a shower directly next to my bed which was a bit odd, but the room was cleaned thoroughly daily and the aircon worked wonderfully.

Good hotel and clean, nice service. Smaller than I expected but workable for the 2 night stay. The restaurants they own obviously cater to tourists and wasn’t very authentic but did in a pinch.

Front desk staff very welcoming and helpful. 10/10. Booked a superior room which was disappointing and not what I expected based on photos online. The room itself had issues, shower glass not setup properly and water leaked on the floor. This superior room overlooked the building courtyard which was full of trash and we couldn't open windows due to smell. The hotel itself occupies a couple floors within a building that has other businesses which is also not obvious when booking online. Wouldn't stay here again at this price point or reccommend this hotel.

Everyone was so pleasant at this hotel. Beyond helpful. Rooms are on the small side but that’s Europe for you. Believe me this is a great hotel.

Staff excellent

We stayed in a suite. Layout was a bit strange with a steam shower that sort of worked but not very hot. Location is pretty good. We had a little problem with a 75$ bottle of conditioner that disappeared from the shower. We all looked many times, the manager looked, the maid looked and no one saw it. 30 min after leaving the hotel, they “found” it in the shower. We were able to retrieve it later but still left a bad taste.

Great hotel stay in Rome walking distance Rome Termini train station, restaurants, and the Nazionale metro stop which takes you directly to the stop for Vatican city. Super clean, friendly, helpful, and kind front desk staff, great room with all you need, and a decent breakfast included next door. Highly recommend!

Dharma luxury was an excellent hotel with convenient location - located near to the republic square metro station, which was an easy-to-use form of transport to get around the city of Rome for tours. Additionally, the hotel is located near great shopping areas like via del Corso and via nazionale. The staff at dharma luxury are kind, welcoming, friendly and informative. They were able to help with any questions we had during our first visit to Rome. Also, special thanks to the staff for suggesting great restaurants both in Rome and also for our trip to Amalfi.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Service was excellent. Front desk extremely friendly and helpful. I could walk to Trevi fountain and other sites. Close to Roma Termini. Rooms was clean and nice. It is a well done boutique hotel. Breakfast was great! Restaurant next store was delicious too!
