OYO Dgarden room 129
The room displayed on website not in accordance with actual conditions. I felt like being cheated by the promotion given. Please have a look into room 129 and provide an essential renovation immediately
The TV should be flat screen & need more variety of channel. No mineral water provided! This is bad.
Okayyy
Ok for 1 or 2 day stay. No hotel parking at site.
Comfy yet noisy
The stay was all right. My only issue is that it was rediculously noisy in the morning. They have no decency in bothering that the customers are a sleep, doing contruction work near the roof area. It was really bad.
GOOD
Modern Senior Citizen-Friendly Garden Hotel
The hotel is both modern and pleasing to the eyes because of gardens in many parts of it. It has modern amenities. amenities for senior citizen. The breakfast was good, they just need the menu changed from time to time. The staff are pleasant! Thank you for accommodating us well!
Convinient and good hotel
It is so amazing, i love the way they Decorate their hotel. It's look like real garden in the middle inside of the hotel. So calm and nice view.
Terrible stay
Got bitten by bed bugs and shower wasn't working at all.
Remember this is a budget accommodation
Given that the accommodation was so cheap, you should not expect miracles and I wonder what previous reviewers were expecting? The man who was working the nightshift on my second night there was most pleasant and assisted me with transport organising. He was lovely. The breakfast was extremely basic, but given what you pay to be there, what else would you expect? The coffee was nice. Overall it is a good place to lay your head at the end of a long day. The only negative comment I would make about the place would be that the room had a strong musty smell to it. And the interior rock garden feature thing is quite dated.
The breakfast is not okay and the water pressure so low.
the air condition not working. i have a terrible night there
dring my stay i have a water flow problem from the shower and leaking at the sink. the rest everything is great
Insects museum
Cockroaches, ants, smell, whatever you can imagine you will find
Not good to stay there
Worst hotel
What they shown on pictures its opposite worst hotel as well as hotel staff
Will come again!
Nice indoor garden.
Stayed for 2 nites, booking made for deluxe with window but was given a room without window upon checking in. When I informed about my booking they gave we a room with window the 2nd nite. Room small but good enough for a short trip. No private parking but ample public parking spaces in front of hotel. Wi fi not very stable in room. Breakfast included, good enough to start the day. Try to ask for 3rd floor facing the indoor garden. Overall ok for a short trip.
Budget hotel with breakfast
It was a good experience staying here. Affordable price included breakfast is the best thing ever that i dint get at another budget hotel except here. Overall is good.
Cheap price
I stay in a dormitory so quite cheap the price of stay.but for the first day,the public toilet has no water so they need to on the pump so that the water will be flowing in the tank.overall its quite a good service provided by this hotel
Nice moderate hotel
the room was just nice for 2. buffee was breads and two dish (fried mee and egg). toilet was relatively small but worth the price. the room was not that sound proof. the interior was awesome with water fountains... worth the price which comes with breakfast buffet
Room is small
The room is small. The walkway is narrow. The toilet is very cramped and difficult to make any movement in it. The tv is not clear.
Cleanliness
Amenities yes, great But cleanliness is concerned.

review
comfortable and clean
one day tour
For couple it not good to be in this hotle.... If u r bachelor n looking for low cost this this will be better one
Unexpected poor . Far from railway station.
This experience is unexpected poor , reserved room with window, actually room without window , many noise make from other , not new hotel and this hotel too old .too far from railway station.
Bad facilities
No really suitable to people who look for cleanliness and good facilities 1.. As that hotel have one kind of smell.. Weird smell n the area over there is not well. Although this is a low class hotel but should also taking care their facilities.. Water heater no hot water!!..
You get what you pay for and a lot less.
This hotel is roughly an hour from the airport. Felt very unsafe. Strange people that did not look like they belong in a hotel coming and going all day/night. Price might look tempting to book. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. No windows to the outside. Wi-Fi very bad. Breakfast was disgusting. Not even worth staying here for a night or any amount of time. Room was very uncomfortable. This is one of those situations where paying a little bit more will get you a lot more somewhere else. Pay more for a peace of mind. You won't find it at this rundown hotel.
Facilities: Basic, Everyday; Value: Reasonable; Service: Very helpful and friendly; Cleanliness: Pleasant;
Small rooms.. Very small bathrooms..
In such a location we could not get a cab to take
We finally got there 4 hours it took from the airport, The cab driver could not find it,We checked in went up to the room, walked back out and checked out, we went and found another Hotel, Thetre was mold on the walls, The shower over our head leaaked,Not the best place to stay, and if you want to get there You will have to walk about a hour from the train station
Simple Stay & Nice View
The Rooms & indoor view very nice, but the breakfast are to simple
Good to stay here, but a little different.
I would like to stay here again. But a little different with the information on website.
Not bad for budget hotel
d' Garden is not easy to find that we drove around nearby for 20 mins. It's behind a bigger n beauty hotel. Its photo on the online booking looks like other's. Overall, it's room is simple, basic and clean, but i feel its mattress isn't comfortable. Its price is match with this kind of budget hotel.
Great hotel, awesome customer service
This is my third stay at d'Garden, which is my preferred KL hotel this year because of its quiet surroundings, affordable rooms, and best of all, helpful staff. Hotel staff (and owner!) went out of their way to offer assistance and extended-stay lodging for my mother who had lost her passport while travelling, even though the hotel most definitely was not at fault for the loss! This level of customer service is pretty much unheard of for budget hotels around the Ampang / Maluri area and I was greatly appreciative of the support. Unlike other KL budget hotels, d'Garden is also very peaceful and secure. No loud guests or police raids to ruin a weekend getaway!
Easy & Flexible Hotel for Weekend Getaway
This is my 2nd 'weekend escape' stay at D'Garden at Taman Maluri area, so by now I was more familiar with navigating KL on foot and public transport. Just like another reviewer from Singapore stated the LRT station at Maluri is just 7+ mins' walk away (now that I know to walk directly there instead of going all over the place...) and LRT to and from the mega bus terminus at TBS costs just 1 Malaysian Ringgit. The other reason why I chose D'Garden is because of the hotel's flexibility in accommodating various check-in times so you are not stuck with "following the timetable" if for instance, your express bus arrived hours early and you're stuck wandering around town - then just ask politely if you can start your stay early! The hotel being 'out of the way' also means affordable taxi fares, unlike prime locations in the city centre. Just do street hire, there are many taxis passing through the old shophouse area in the daytime - Most city locations are less than 8-12 ringgit away, and you can go to the movies at 1Shamelin for about 5RM on a meter taxi. Just be nice to the cab driver and he'll show you the way and charge a reasonable fare (for non-meter using drivers) so long as you make your destination clear. They're just making a living, remember - and taxis aren't exactly cheap to operate in KL :) The only issue I can think of with D'Garden hotel is that the air conditioning needs servicing. Temperature way too low & its moldy.
Affordable and the Staff were perfectly genuine !
The owner sits out front and has breakfast which is provided for you. Their staff were comical and such a treat, close to the mall and only a 15 ringet cab ride to DT. Oh so worth the value. Go and stay and enjoy the city on a budget. When I go back I will definitely stay there again. Thanks Guys. J
Carefree, easy stay at d'Garden
This is a really nice budget hotel for anyone wishing to visit KL for a weekend and mingle around with the local denizens. The location is quite odd and out of the way, needs some getting used to walking in low density residential sectors or calling a cab if you don't wish to walk out to the nearest LRT station which is about a 15-20 minutes' walk away. By today's standards, the cab is not expensive at all so long as you do not board the taxi at central locations (like shopping centers, where they will overcharge you dramatically). Practise street hire skills and learn the local language (basic Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu highly recommended to allow you to blend in). Haggling is not recommended. If you don't like the terms and conditions, just say thank you to the driver / taxi agent and go somewhere else. The KLRapid Light Rail system is VERY cheap and nearby Maluri station offers easy and direct access to citywide locales with some practise. But once you master using public transport this low-cost out of the way hotel is a perfect base of operations to stage your daily KL adventures. Being a tiny little shophouse hotel, d'Garden has a pleasant staff and little restrictions to guests. Unlike some upmarket establishments, d'Garden's personnel do not go over the top with customer service. They are not intrustive but 100% friendly and helpful all day and night. Definitely will visit again via expedia as the room rates featured on this site are well worth it
Simply a budget hotel and we cannot ask for much. It's good for rest though. Staffs are great and helpful,

Excellent wifi and proximity to shopping malls and mrt. Fast checkout. Check in was frustrating. I booked the superior queen room but was given the standard queen room. Showed them the pictures posted on Expedia website but they insisted they had given me the superior queen. Finally they gave me one that looked closer to the room I booked. The aircon compressors outside made a continuous loud noise as long as the aircon was on. Renovation was going on outside my door - not a pleasant experience at all.
