Perfect for families going to Disneyland.

Disappointing trip

It was very noisy and we were woken up multiple times during the night . They only had one elevator working so we had to carry our luggage up and down the 3 flights of stairs as well as use stairs to get to the 5th floor breakfast. In the past we have enjoyed our stay at this hotel - disappointed in the service and accommodations this trip.

Family of 10!

We stayed there with the whole family. There was 10 of us, We stayed in the superior, double suites, along with the deluxe room for my son and his family. We loved our stay if I had anything negative to say it would be that in the double room there was only one thermostat to control both rooms so of course some of us were cold some of us were hot. so that was a little bit of a challenge, but the front desk gave us extra blankets so they’re going to solve the problem. We did hear a little bit of outside noise with the rental car place next door during the night. Their alarm kept going off, but that is of no fault to the hotel. Overall, the staff was so amazing. Shout out to the front desk who was so accommodating and so nice! And the breakfast crew was so friendly, Everything was very clean, I just truly felt like we were with family…. Desert Palms will definitely be our place for us to call Our Disneyland home !!!

Love it!

This is our second year staying here and we love it!! Definitely our go to hotel.

We loved our stay at Desert Palms. We loved that it was a short walk to Disney, had a great breakfast and enough room for our big family.

Parking fees are too high, and the fact they exist at all is just another junk fee and BS. The thermostats dont have a constant on feature so you hear every single sound in the whole hotel. Bring a sound machine so you can actually sleep.

Had a great stay!

This property is located in a very great area and took mins to walk to the theme park.

If I could give this hotel a 10/10 I would. This hotel was perfect for Disney! It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Disney. The hotel staff was amazing! They were understanding with parking and anything we needed they got it to us fast. This is definitely a kids/family hotel. Overall, it was quiet and you do hear kids running around but that is to be expected. When we go back to Disney we will book here again! It was perfect. Thank you for making our trip amazing.

Well there are sl options at expo but this one was clearly lacking - of the packed hotel only one elevator was working, the rooms are dated and dark - but we overlook a parking area so there is that and service meh

This facility was clean and a great location for disney visitors. Just a short walk to disney and many dining choices. The staff were nice, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was basic but still really good. I especially appreciated the homemade salsa. My only issue was right outside of the facilities' boundaries, with the homeless, the religious weirdos with a megaphone right in our ears, and cleanliness of the street. That is not the hotel's fault by any means, but those things were too close for my comfort while i have kids with me. We literally stepped right over some human feces. Unfortunately these things that are not controlled by the hotel would prevent me from staying again.

Easy place to stay for family vacation, Nice Staff.

Great Hotel walking distance to Disneyland!

The hotel was nice, it had a pool with a jacuzzi. It had a little toddler area that my kids loved! The room we stayed at was a little small but it was alright since we only stayed 1 night. The room service was amazing, it had different food options on there and opened late. Parking was a little steep on the price. There was also no bar of soap, only had body wash as soap. Super close to Disneyland! There is also a little shop in the hotel that had snacks and rentable portable chargers. Overall, we liked our stay. The breakfast is on the top floor/roof top - it was amazing! Food was good, small options but it fueled us.

Good hotel. Close to disneyland. Our room is facing the park so we can see the fireworks at night. It was awesome!

Clean and easy walk to Disneyland

Great hotel for families!

We loved our room with a king bed and bunk beds. The bunk beds were both double sized mattresses which were plenty big enough for our teenager and 9yo. The hotel location was decent. We didn’t have to cross any major streets to walk to Disneyland. It was about a 15 minute walk for us to get to the park entrance. There’s a restaurant offering room service with a ton of options to keep kids and adults happy. There’s also a 7-11 next door for snacks and a pretty good little self-serve convenience store inside the hotel. My only complaint was that self parking was over priced.

Amazing place to stay close to Disney

Strongly Recommended this property. Close to Disneyland Park. Great Breakfast Buffet!! Great Customers Agent (Lauren) and the whole crew from cleaning crew at the buffet, housekeeping and front staff. I would definitely go back to stay!

Would stay definitely again

The breakfast was great. They did such a good job of keeping it clean and stocked. Major plus. Our room was very spacious and the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. Would stay again on a future Disney trip.

Close to Disneyland!

The staff was very welcoming and super nice its a plus when traveling with special needs children. Rooms are very comfortable and would recommend this place. We will be back for sure!! Also they have the best breakfast 😋 and its always delicious all three days we stayed we enjoyed the breakfast! Especially the views from the 5th floor they nailed it!

Love it! Food was great and everyone and everything was really nice. I definitely will come back!

We were on the first floor, the hallway was noisy during busy periods. Generally quiet at night though. The continental breakfast was great. Lots of variety.

They messed up my damn car putting a parking ticket on my window. When I paid for park and gave them my car details. They never came a cleaned the room while we where out just replaced the towels and kept it pushing. No house keeping at all.

Very nice property safe close to disney. Front desk people nice. Breakfast descent. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

A place to return to

Fantastic service ! Very decent room! Pool was super fun and the breakfast was very decent. Better hotel Eggs than the others around the block.

Walking distance to Disneyland, great hot breakfast with plenty of choices, very friendly and helpful staff. This was our second stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Disneyland.

Excellent Hotel , and service

The perfect location to go to Disney land. It was great to have the bunk beds for the kids after a long day of walking.

Not really a “fault” of the hotel, but my room on the first floor, facing the street, was VERY noisy. Walls must be thin, noise from adjoining rooms and street noise (cars/motorcycles racing up and down the street around midnight) kept me up. If you’re a light sleeper, request a floor higher up.

The property is clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was perfect. The property is showing its age in spots and the family suite with a king bed and 2 fulls had no view and there were no windows in the king portion of the room. That said all the kids had a place to sleep after a long day at Disneyland and the walk to and from the park was easy. Just a heads up the parking starts at and ends at noon so if you stay and want to leave your car there on the last day you have to pay for an extra day of parking.

Security put a notice even though ticket was on the dashboard so I didn’t like that at all … the days we stayed at was a lot of high school students which made it hard to sleep at night with all the screaming and running around the halls.

Great Hotel!

Hotel was spacious, clean, and with plenty of parking. It is also within walking distance to Disneyland. Our room included two bunk beds (full size) and one king bed. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were spacious.

Nice place and about one block from Disneyland not bad if you want to walk.

Location, location, location!

Amazing location, super close to Disney and California adventure! Safe area to walk at night and lots of potions to eat dinner near by! The hotel is super clean, and the rooms were extremely comfortable! Would definitely recommend this place!

Great location

Such a good location to the park- easy walk no need for shuttle schedules. Super clean, not one of those old hotels that’s basically “lipstick on a pig” to make it look better, it actually is as it shows in pics. Comfy beds, breakfast is meh but I just went to Starbucks instead.

Seemed quiet, quick check in, quick check out. Have stayed here before. Pretty clean. Nothing extra.

Great Stay

The stay was amazing. Quiet rooms, they get very dark- the suite with the living room had a great curtain system to separate the living room, keeping it dark for sleep. The breakfast was super solid, great variety. Super close to the Disney Parks, there’s a lot near the hotel, like CVS, Walgreens, lots of restaurants. The staff was lovely. This will be a staple hotel for us when we go on our Disney vacations from now on:)

It was the perfect place to stay before Disney. Just wish parking was more affordable. Would of cost $70 for one night and day and that's almost as much as spent on the room

The Friendliest Hotel in Anaheim!

Wow! From the first day to the last, the staff of the Desert Palm SHINE. We were so well cared for at this family friendly place. Close to Disneyland with no major street crossings. Safe, clean and comfortable describe the neighborhood and the hotel. Truly though, the absolute gem of this place is the friendly, professional, caring staff. From room service to maintenance to front desk to the yummy free breakfast attendants, it was clear that everyone's objective was to make sure we had a fantastic time and wanted for nothing. We will absolutely return and recommend this place to everyone we know traveling to Anaheim!!

Amazing hotel!!

This is the most clean hotel I ever been in!! Everything is spotless! Me and my family loved it!! We can’t wait to go back! Unfortunately I have no photos, because we were amazed by the cleanliness of the room,we check every place and it was perfect!!

Near Disney

From the moment you drive in the parking everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Easy access to the parking area and lots of parking spaces. Customer service is excellent and they are always happy to assist you.

Perfect. Nice big room. Very clean including beds. Comfy bed and pillows. All required amenities, Disney entrance 12 min walk up the road. Will stay again.

Hotel was very short walk to Disneyland

It is a very clean hotel and within 10mins walking distance to the Disneyland Resort. Our room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast is mediocre but overall not bad considering the value. The only hiccup was Tuesday morning garbage trucks. If your room is facing to Disneyland, expect to be waken up early. Hotel has a great, reasonably priced restaurant!!

Deluxe Suite was very roomy and perfect for our family. However the bed was too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Breakfast options were great.

Not at all like the stay I had last year here. This place has taken a massive turn for the worst!

This staff was amazing!!! They called to make sure we didnt need anything after we first checked into the room. And when are rental car broke down they helped us with everything we needed!!!

Close to Disney!

Close to parks but Loud

The distance to Disney was the main good thing about this hotel. It is an easy 10 minute walk. The second good thing was breakfast was served every morning. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. The hotel was pretty clean and beds were comfortable. As for why we gave this hotel 3 stars: the kids bunk beds weren’t made when we arrived. The sheet and blanket were folded on the end of the beds. That was a nightmare after a long day of traveling and everyone just wanting to go to bed. Worst of all, the hotel is incredibly loud. We could hear our neighbors on both sides (talking any a normal volume), our upstairs neighbors every time they walked, anytime everyone who walked past our room, and anytime anyone around us ran water.

Perfect spot for Disney trip

Stayed here for a quick Disney trip and it was great! About a 10 minute walk to Disney, but the nice part is you don’t have to cross a bunch of busy intersections to get there. It’s pretty much a straight shot. Breakfast was soo nice to have every morning. Hot tub was amazing after long Disney days. Wish it stayed open later though. Beds and pillows were comfy! Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

I would definitely recommend for families and the staff was great very friendly even the custodial

Don’t stay on the first floor

While we do love this hotel, the last few times we were there, we were put on the bottom floor which has been very noisy both times. This time, we were put in the back corner room near an exit door. I got the worst sleep of my life on this trip. We could hear every time someone exited through the door, and heard noise from the convenience store that’s next door (last night, there was some announcement about getting off the property every 90 seconds all night until around 6am… I wanted to pull my hair out). I came home completely exhausted. I’d recommend asking for a room on another floor. This stay was overall just so unpleasant due to getting barely any sleep.
