Confirmed multiple times on the phone that the hotel had received everything needed for us to have a credit card on file. When showing up I was told that there was no credit card on file 15 minutes after I had checked in with no problems and already had my room key. I then had to deal with an employee that was pretty hard to work with for hours before resolving the issue . Other than that every employee was great, also that restaurant and bar has good drinks and food.

Excellent service

Our stay was amazing, even though we miss breakfast by over an hour the staff went out of their way to find something for us so that we could at least have a nice little breakfast with my elderly at two had mobility issues. Allow us to park in the handicapped spot despite the fact that we didn’t have a handicapped parking tag. This made our entry into the hotel so much easier.

Nice hotel that is very central. Room okay. Nice pool and spa area but didn't have time to use it unfortunately. I did feel the that it wasn't very welcoming however. The lady on reception was quite short and didn't really give us much information about the hotel. We then ended up walking around a little lost to see what was what and where things were. No information in the room either. Just could have been a little more welcoming. The chap that checked us out was really nice however.

Room was small but clean! When arrived was gifted a dog treat bag in room and front desk staff were lovely! Would stay again if in the area.

Amazing check in. The staff member upgraded us and took the time to chat with us. Really warm and kind. Loved the pool and hot tub terrace. Lots of restaurants and right by the water! A few cons: The beds and pillows were uncomfortable unfortunately. And there was some hair in the bathroom when we came in. Overall, a good hotel.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It’s not pretty but fully refurbished inside, mega clean, great downtown location. Friendly, welcoming and competent staff. We had exceptional service from Piper :) she was new to the hotel and so helpful. We met her by the pool area and she worked so hard to keep us and all the guests comfortable with drinks, towels, etc. She was then our server in the restaurant that evening. Very attentive- this young lady has a great attitude and will go far! Our only criticism was the hotel restaurant was very expensive. It rained so we decided to eat in the hotel - the food was nice but was way too pricy!

Super clean and nice! Comfy beds. My only complaint is that the way the retrofitted the bathrooms during remodel made it really constricting. Opening the shower outward would make contact with the toilet. Small things like that

All in all an average stay

The hotel is in decent condition and well-located. The 1st day we were out for most of the day and came back to a room that was still not made up. On the 2nd day, again, the room was not made up, although we didn't leave the do not disturb sign on. Parking is $18 a day. Breakfast and dinner was good but took a long time. Our 3rd day we were told we needed to wait 20 mins to even be seated for breakfast so walked up the road.

I think this is the best hotel in Kamloops! The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is centrally located downtown and is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and convenience stores. The front desk staff are very friendly and provide amazing service!

Staff was superb. Total kudos for professionalism. The room was extremely clean but European sized - complete with 9” washbasin and barn door bathroom which does not provide privacy. Only complaint was the hidden costs - like the unexpected $18 for parking when parking is free on the street. Supposedly security but this is Kamloops and that is not a requirement. Paid breakfast had extras such as eggs - the extras made a cheap breakfast more expensive than the standard. The extras left a bad taste on an otherwise decent breakfast. Caution be prepared to pay for standard items

The wildfires caused us to have to redirect our trip, and we asked for leniency to move date to a future time. Spent an entire afternoon with a friendly expedia agent who was trying their best to help us. Strongly don't recommend booking this place in the summer, since wildfires are becoming more common and they are the opposite of accommodating.

We were in Kamloops during a very busy weekend. The staff at the Delta Marriott could not have been more friendly and helpful. We changed rooms after the first night, to a king from two queens, and the staff was so accomodating. Thelma, at the front desk, was knowledgeable and so helpful from checkin through changing rooms. We would absolutely stay again.

Room was clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Customer service at the restaurant needs some work. My coffee took a long time and every guest at my table got their drinks before me. I had to ask for cream for my coffee which took longer than expected.

The property is lovely but the air quality in the lobby & lounge area is very toxic with some type of essential scented fragrance being pumped into the building . Very toxic could barely breathe or talk when in the space. People with sensitivity or lung issues would not do well. Trying to manage the room temperature was impossible to hot or to cold. Also all the soaps are very fragrant.

Had a lovely overnight stay. I selected this hotel for its proximity to a venue I was attending. The hotel has a lovely restaurant, bar and a Starbucks right in the lobby! I would definitely stay here a again.

The property was very clean and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.

What’s up with the bathroom?

The room was comfortable with the exception of the bathroom. It was tiny and poorly designed. I’ve never stood at a sink with my calves actually touching the toilet! I’m a relatively small person and I don’t know how anyone larger could fit. On the plus side the restaurant was quite tasty.

The property was well situated with many dining options close by. The room was clean and comfortable.

I wanted to say how amazing the front desk team was. My flight was cancelled and they checked me back in easily. They seemed as they really did care.

Was a pleasant stay other than the noise. Rooms had paper thin walls but overall I’m pretty happy with my stay. My only disappointment was the washroom had a really bad sewage odour and nothing could really solve it so we just put up with it

Bad Luck Me

I have bad credit due to an abusive marriage as a young mother (recently completed a consolidation loan 3 years ago & have 2 years left. I have great credit since). I'm using my friends credit card as I do not qualify for my own credit card through my high end, world renknown company that I had an opportjnity in joining months ago. He's a great selfless friend. My company reimburses right away. It is an embarrassing process to obtain a 3rd party authorization, even though it has the card holder in mind. The process brings up past trauma that I've worked incredibly hard to overcome to be where I am at today. It's difficult to move forward when both parties who are attributing to the hotel stay arent treated as equals. For now, I am staying elsewhere. When I have my own credit, knowing Delta hotel shares great security for its cardholders, I will stay again. As a road warrior by trade to train Sales Associates in both retail/national accounts BC wide, you will be kept in mind as a place to stay after 2 years. Please, if possible, work with your affiliate accounts to include a 3rd party authorization form when paying in person, such as Hotels.com where I registered my stay. It was a long day coming in from the Valley to Kelowna the previous day, & working my way through Vernon to Kamloops. When the authorization was complete, & made my way to the hotel bar for a relaxing drink & to complete admin work, the bar had theirast call 10 minutes previously. I was left with a bad taste.

It’s my second time staying at this hotel, it’s a pretty nice experience. The building and rooms are all pretty new I really liked the shower, the water pressure is great and the drainage is good unlike most other 3-star hotel’s drainage that are easily clogged. One thing I don’t like about is the toilet paper being fairly rough but other than that everything else is great. I would highly recommend here, the location is very convenient too.

I stayed here with my wife for one night while on a vacation. It is a lovely place. Our room was clean and quiet.
