Staff was lovely, a quiet hotel stay even with a tournament staying there
Showers could have been cleaned better.
Great place with an awesome restaurant.
Lovely, clean, great environment
Rooms were not cleaned well
From checking in to checking out the staff was amazing
Staff were friendly
👍
A great place to stay
We were visiting New Brunswick for the first time for the annual whisky festival that is held there. A wonderful place all in. One wee criticism would be that the bathroom really did need modernised but its a small complaint. I will happily use this hotel again. The staff are the stars for sure!
Urine smell in bathroom
Boo
There staff is definitely not on the same page when it comes to their policies. Both my sister and I booked the same and we had a $70 breakfast credit. I used $20 and left a $10 tip. Not sure what my sisters bill was but she also left a $10 tip. When we were checking out her guy said it was all good. No extra charges. I go to the guy beside him and I got charged the $10 to my credit card. When I said to the guy that she didn’t get charged. All he said was they don’t pay the tip and charged it to my visa. I guess I should have had the same person check me out to get treated the same.
Very quiet. The staff was terrific and the room with a vies of Saint John River and the fall leaves turning color was great. Stayed during Canada’s Thanksgiving. It was the only place with terrific food and a great bar that was open.
Great location. The hotel aren offers a pleasant walk along the river. The hotel room amenity has a lot room for improvement such as slippers, toothbrush, bathrope and a safe lock box.
This hotel is overpriced for the quality. Our room was sloppily made up with dirty glasses left behind and no coffee capsules. When you call from your room to front desk housekeeping or in room dining nobody answers. If you don’t book through Marriot they don’t allow you to get points.
Liked the view onto the river and trail nearby. Food choices limited.
Outdoor pool was a bonus, nice seating area to eat and drink outside as well. Easy walk to King and Queen street, great for downtown visits.
We really liked this hotel. The room had been refurbished and was spacious. The shower could be improved upon as it was a bit slippery. There was a slight knocking sound during the night but some people might see that as white noise as it wasn’t very loud. The restaurant/bar area was great. The servers were very friendly. There is also Starbucks coffee available from the cafe.
Clean, nice rooms, very friendly staff
It is well run and the staff was efficient and friendly
Was a nice stay but encountered rude hostess.
Nice outdoor space for dining! Front desk didn’t inform us we were in an accessible room right by the elevators or dining or breakfast options. A bit of a noisy night. Comfy beds!
Pool area was not cleaned properly. Lots of insects and spider webs on light fixtures. Pool itself had lots of dead insects in it. Not sure how often they cleaned it.
Short visit but comfortable friendly atmosphere
Nice place
.
Staff, cleanliness, outdoor pool. Food. Overall ambiance
I had to pay for parking
Great hotel! Other than going into town a couple times all the amenities you require are at the hotel so you really don't have to leave
I travel quite a bit one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at great amenities with an indoor and outdoor pool
Excellent bar and restaurant
Great customer service. Attentive front desk staff.
Great place with a restaurant terrace right on the river. Wow!
Lovely hotel in a beautiful walkable setting.
Good dog friendly hotel
Awesome place. Beautiful property
Fantastic service from the front desk to the bar staff
Location, location, and wonderful staff!
All of the staff have been gracious, generous, good-hearted and helpful. The hotel itself is in good condition and is in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable. The accommodations are clean, quiet, and comfortable. This places has proved an oasis for us on a challenging journey - the staff have made is heaven! We are going to book here next week as we head back!
Absolutely beautiful hotel right next to the river!!
Stayed for 1 night with my wife and 2 toddlers as a night stay from our long road trip from Toronto to Halifax. We wished this was one of those visits where we stayed a few nights because the place felt like a resort and we didn’t get to use and enjoy any of the amenities. Very clean, large room and felt very comfortable.
I have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints!
Great hotel!
Would definitely stay here again! Excellent service.
L
Great staff. Clean property.
Exemplary
Amazing room and lovely staff. Location was fantastic and exactly what we needed to relax. Restaurant Stmr located in the hotel was also a welcome perk.
The staff were very nice and accommodating.
.
Great property
No help!!!!!! after can cancelling our reservations.
Noisier than anticipated
The 6th floor renovations are good but the sound-proofing needs to be improved! The voices of people in the corridor were bad enough, the ones of those in the next room were worse! Perhaps where there is a connecting door between rooms, it could be insulated more thoroughly?
O
Good
Didn’t get the room I booked. Requested king bed with pull out couch. No pull out. Left one person stranded with no where to sleep. Room had undergone renovations (which are ok) but the floor was still dirty with sheet rock dust and debris.
Great stay
In general, stay was okay. Room had an odd layout with strange lighting. However, bed was comfortable and clean.
My family and I stayed in this property in 2021 and we remembered it as a nice, family oriented hotel. Our recent stay was a disappointment. While staff was lovely, the room and the hotel common areas were simply dirty. I understand there is construction on some floors of the hotel but that does not explain sticky desk and bedside table, carpet that looked like it has not been vacuumed in days, dirty bathroom walls, dust and hair on the bathroom floor, brown stained toilet bowl and no toilet paper.
Clean well appointed
It is very noises and restaurant wasn't as good as last time
Splendid stay at the hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, welcoming my wife and I with open hours. Especial shout outs to: Waiter Bailey in the STMR restaurant (breakfast) Bartender Liam in the lobby bar Bartender Randy in the lobby bar Hope to see these three later in the year when we return.
Great stay
Enjoyed the hotel as always. They charge $15 for overnight parking now...
Booked this room for my partner’s 50th birthday. I booked several weeks in advance and went 1 week early to make arrangements for a friend to have access early to decorate. Manager made notes and everything was supposed to be taken care of. On the day we were to arrive, our friend had tremendous difficulty getting the keys to decorate. As soon as she got the key she called me to tell me about construction work that was happening in the next room over. Manager offered to change rooms for us but we couldn’t get what I had reserved and instead of a beautiful view of the river behind the property, we had a parking lot view. The carpeting was filthy and the room was very ordinary. I made the best of the situation but I will never book at this Delta hotel.
Really overpriced for what it delivers. Pink ring around the bathtub drain, only one coffee in a room with 2 beds, extremely noisy guests. We only stayed for a night while traveling. Generally an underwhelming experience with a high price tag.
Staff are not so friendly and understanding
Restaurant is awesome!!! The room is very nice also ♥️
Good stay
Beautiful hotel but don’t like the location of the pool. Very uncomfortable to have to walk through the lobby bar to get to the pool in your bathing suit.
Restaurant staff excellent First room the toilet did not work when we asked to have it fixed they said they couldn’t but did not offer us another room when we insisted we received another room however the heating fan made noise all night
At 2:00 AM I finally called the front desk to ask why there were people congregating in front on room door as they had all night laughing and talking loudly and the ice machine was working overtime (probably not for sports injuries). When I asked the Delta employee if there was a party on the 5th floor he responded with a flat no so I asked him again thinking perhaps I might actually succeed in making him think the second time... no such luck. So I asked him if he could explain the loud laughing and talking and regular trips to the ice machine. After asking this 3rd question he finally agreed to send someone up.
It was a beautiful property however I was not at all pleased with the service or how a situation was handled. I booked a room that specifically said had a separate room with a couch and when I checked in my room it was not that room and when I went down and ask why not they informed me that the pictures on Expedia are not correct and they had nothing to give me. They said that since I booked it through Expedia there also was nothing they can do. When I asked for a roll away bed understanding it was an extra charge they also told me no it wouldn’t work in the room I was given. My room was over $400 for one night and I felt like they did nothing to accommodate what I feel was not my mistake.
Expecting more for the price
When I arrived I wanted to have a bath and there was no hot water. The sheet on one bed had hair and also was very worn.
There was a water outage but it was solved quickly and staff were apologetic. Would recommend!
Parking
15$ charge for parking was very disapointing. Parking doesn't seems like the type you'd pay for and nothing was said at the reception about parling fees
Liam was the best bartender, made my time there a lot of fun.
The staff were great to deal with. We were up to visit our daughter at university and she wanted to stay with us so at checkin they were able to find us a room with more beds. We also really enjoyed having a waitress with celiac disease bc my son and I are celiac and she was so helpful and informative with the menu. We only wish they had an indoor hot tub :) We will stay here again.
People were fighting in the hall all night that kept most of us awake all night . No fan in the bathroom. Kinfa small for a king room.
Always the best location to stay in Fredericton. The staff is phenomenal and so friendly, even when here on some of the busiest times.
The restaurant was great - delicious food. Our server, Evan, was just the best! Not only did he entertain us, but he was delightful and made our evening complete! Give him a raise!
Excellent
Nice riverside property
Very nice sunset view from the patio and pool.
Outdoor seating area has excellent view of the river and sun set
Room was smelly and dirty. Not vacuumed in behind couch. Loud baseball tournament families with kids and adults hanging out in hallways. So noisy and not what at a 300 dollar a night hotel should be. Would never stay here again for price point. Breakfast was good tho.
Not bad
.
Housekeeping was non existent. They did the bare minimum. Like only made the bed.
We loved our stay here for 1 night with our dog!
Very convenient location. Staff was extremely friendly. Drift pool lounge closed. Docks were submerged in water and inaccessible. Call before and inquire if this is something you’re interested in.
It’s quite a spot
Well done!
Great room, quiet, great trail behind hotel.
Very pleasant for stopover. Easy to find. Nice restaurant, open later (convenient when on a road trip) Beautiful outdoor terrasse facing river for morning breakfast/lunch. Loved the little sauna round mini houses ! As regular customers, we appreciated the upgrade to riverview !
the outdoor pool and restaurant options, with ample seating are excellent. we stayed this weekend and experienced live, local music
The place was clean and well maintained. We had a great night sleep. Breakfast was real good. Kudos to Daniela our wonderful server.
Restaurant food was excellent
Clean and nice vibe in the dining area
Good location Clean rooms and hotel
The property and the facility was great . The surprise was $13.00 plus tax to park outside, wasn’t expecting it.
Great stay
Very nice location
Shower pressure was extremely low, had to call front desk twice to get a shower cap, they put a $100 hold on my visa which they didn't tell me about, terrible service in the restaurant, waitress was clearly not interested in serving saw her out on their patio taking photos, after waiting a half hour and no sign of her we had to ask another server for our bill. Our food sat too long and my water glass was dirty when I received it.
