The Hotel has been recently updated and it works the only real issue was the Pool/waterSlide were not operational and a Slightly firmer mattress would have been nice

All good just a little disappointed that the big pool was closed but glad there was another we could use.

There were dirty socks in our room on arrival. The hottub was not hot. Very limited vegan options on menu.

Loved being able to drop my vehicle off at the door and have it waiting for me on my return. Very short walk to security and a great restaurant.

I have always loved this hotel but don't stay that far South as much. This trip was a reminder to make the effort to go back, TWO pools. It would be nice if they kept them open later. Club access is always a good choice when booking. Highly recommend!

Had booked a different location initially but upon arrival was informed that my booking had been cancelled. After having this terrible experience booked this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with service and hospitality.

Bath tub wasn’t draining properly which was likely why it wasn’t clean. House keeping said there were a few rooms with that problem and front desk was aware. I feel it should’ve been fixed before we checked in.

I recently stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South, and was very pleased with my experience. Despite arriving during a massive snowstorm, the hotel made everything easy and stress-free. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was quite comfortable, which is what I need to unwinding after a long day. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The Amenities were excellent. The pool was a great size, ideal for both relaxation and a bit of exercise. Breakfast fresh, delicious, and included with the room, which was a fantastic bonus. Overall, my stay was smooth and enjoyable, even under challenging weather conditions. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Sunday morning housekeeping staff knock at your door 7 am 9am 10am 10:30, 11:22, 12:01 . Woke my small baby up 7am on a Sunday. Breakfast , server forgot about us.

Nice hotel, great service, recently renovated rooms It was pretty quiet even with quite a few kids on our floor. On site restaurant had good food and reasonably fast service. The only thing that wasn’t so great was the hot tub was over chlorinated, the steam was burning our eyes. So we moved to the pool pretty quickly. FYI: If you have any mobility issues make sure to ask for an accessible room, standard rooms don’t have bars in the shower.

Staff was good and willing to assist. I was there 3 days - housekeeping didn't come once. I left my room one day purposefully because they were right at my door. Still nothing. When i shared my experience at the front desk they comped me a coupon for an appetizer, but they had no food I could eat because of food allergies. I ended up with just an orange....seemed a bit lackluster. I still like Delta Hotels, just a bit disappointed in food available and their willingness to accommodate.

Ok one night

I was in low rise atrium section, which is connected ,via enclosed walkway to main building. No restaurants or anything on atrium section. Wasn't sure how to get to room after getting to atrium section. Line employee at desk was too busy on phone to give directions.

Property was dated, blankets had holes and smelt like vinegar, furniture was old and showing ware and tear. There was no cream or tea available and the hotel had a sign stating housekeeping appreciates “TIPS” and to scan a code to pay? The front desk staff in the “Atrium” building was non responsive, diddnt even acknowledge us when we came in the front door and the hotel phone didn’t even work, and pool was freezing, will not be staying at Delta again

Room was nice and clean, loved the pool with the slide although quite busy, and floors of pool can use a bit of clean up. Would rec to go to pool during non peak hours. Restaurant brunch was delicious :)

Friendly staffs

We saw a guest asking to remove a piece of chicken bone they found at the bottom from one of the pools. Disgusting. Super noisy until 2 am, it seems there was a delegation of youth or something, but still : out of control, staff could mot manage. Tv remote control was not working. Beds were old and resorts uneven, peeling off from underneath. But i can say that staff was very friendly. This is a Management problem, the cleaning staff seems to be short or i suppose they do for what they are supervused or paid for? Could not tell... A shame, an hotel that could have the potential.

Great hotel

Great service and easily accessible facilities for a wheelchair user. But ver noisy contract work being done outside the restaurant at dinner time was unnecessary and ruined the quality of the experience.

It is a good hotel n close everything

Review had it at 8.4. Should really be 9.2 or better. Excellent staff and amenities. We liked it so much we extended our stay by a day.

Dated, dirty, smelly

We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is beautiful. Stayed here with my husband and four children, as well as my in laws. We had a mishap with losing my daughter's life jacket, and the staff graciously provided us with a new one, even though they were not at fault! Would definitely recommend!

Room in the Atrium building was nice; quieter and cleaner than the Tower building room we were originally assigned. Service in the Sage restaurant was excellent - Marsha was very attentive and the breakfast was very good.

Breakfast choices are AMAZING

We chose this hotel for it's location and we were definitely not disappointed. Easy access to main thoroughfares in the city without actually being on a main road. LRT station was close by so transportation, other than driving ourselves, was easily accessible. Last but not least, the kids loved the water slide in the pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub.

Enjoyable stay

The building was older. We picked it for convenience of location more than preference. Our beds literally creaked with every move. The room was not refreshed (no beds made or towels replaced). Preference of service seems to be given to Marriott Bonvoy members. If you book through a third party like hotels.com like I did you don’t have as much flexibility with your bookings.

Best Delta ever, clean, new and amenities and small touches are great. Dimmer lights in bathroom, coat racks in room. Food in restaurant is great and so is the continental breakfast. Staff are super friendly.

Worst service , iam not happy , i asked to clean the room since i check in for 2 nights , nothing was done and I even request for some towels to refill for the 2nd day and nothing was done . Its really worst experience!

Great place for weekend getaway. Pools are clean, my kid had a fun time on the slide and other pool and hot tub. Food in Sage bistro was top notch, we have breakfast and quality was excellent. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Overall pleasant and fun experience especially if you are traveling with kids.

The room was really nice and comfortable. Breakfast included in the restaurant was very good. The hallway on second was dirty and there was a pile of sheets and towels left all night.

Worth upgrading and getting club access

The one downside to this hotel is the noise! Hallway noise, noise from the lobby for rooms that face inside...so, so noisy! Otherwise, the hotel was clean, rooms are a nice large size, hotel staff friendly.

The Atrium at Delta South is a bit older than the tower, but the staff were helpful, prompt in addressing our different needs, and friendly. Room was comfortable, and I enjoyed our private floor level patio. My only criticism is that our small pool was closed Friday evening for a private event that I never saw use it. Would definitely stay here again

Room was very noisy. Could not sleep past 630 am because of the noise level from outside the room. A lot of kids were staying and it was a busy area

Noisy in the atrium side!

This hotel has 2 parts and we usually stay in the main tower. This time we were put in the atrium. It was extremely noisy early in the morning due to our room overlooking the buffet area. Consequently, we did not sleep well at all in early am hours. Better windows and insulation on this side would be needed.

My favorite part about this hotel was the complimentary breakfast in the morning with which I was able to order a bagel with salmon. That may have been the best breakfast of the trip for me. I arrived on a Saturday night, and much of the hotel lobby seemed a little noisy, but it was quiet in my room on the 8th floor. I had some great views of Calgary in the 8th floor elevator area, and a distant view of the mountains from my room. Staff was very hospitable.
