Terrible

The rooms were very unclean, we needed a quick please to stay during a layover and were with another family. All 3 rooms that we were given were extremely un-clean, bed stained, un-clean bathrooms, Days Inn should not put their name on this place. There were several homeless people on property, and we visibly saw cats going in and out of rooms. This was during the 30-45 minutes we were on property. We refused to stay in our rooms and returned to the airport to sleep, it was terrible.

Where do I begin? We could not get into the lobby during daylight hours. So, I cannot say that the lobby looks like the one pictured in the listing. Actually, I had to take a triple-take when we arrived to the property, for it did not look like the listing. The property looked like the photos on the Expedia website were over 20 years old. The place has not so much had a fresh coat of paint since the beginning of this century. The room had a fire alarm ripped from the ceiling, and no other safety equipment - no other fire alarm, no sprinkler system, etc. The pool water was a deep shade of murky green. But the smell. Oh, the smell of the room was unforgiving and unforgivable. The mold in the air was so thick a knife would have cut it. Turning on the air conditioner did not make the smell any better. The linens were not clean. I repeat - THE LINENS WERE NOT CLEAN! Not the towels, not the blankets. The bed and its linens were coated in a sticky, gooey, greasy something. Within two minutes, my lungs began to burn. This building needs to be condemned. My daughter and I stayed in this room long enough to book a stay at another hotel. I handed the attendant back his key, and we bolted. PLEASE STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS OWNER!!! I am literally calling the health department ... ... now.

The Office helped me find the mailbox. Red Lobster is 3 blocks away but there are special instructions. I adore the location I-35 at I-410 as I go to both Sea World and Fiesta Texas. I enjoyed feeding the pidgeons at the start of my day everyday also so bring something to feed the birds with.

Ok for one night stay

No frills one night stay. AC was great. Cold air. The compressor coming on and off did wake me up a few times. The bed was comfortable and had enough pillows. The bathroom was clean but the shower had a broken handle. Pool seemed cleaned as I walked by. I would not stay with my family here. Area a little sketchy. Lots of road noise.

The property is right off of the interstate and near a railroad which turned out to be louder than expected. They are remodeling the property right now. I will say that the woman who checked me in was very nice and they let me park my car right by the front door for safety. I was a woman travelling alone.

This place was AWFUL! My husband and I should’ve known it would be a bad experience when we were greeted by a grumpy, rude old man. If you don’t like your job then find a new one! As soon as we walked into our room we both said seriously! It was dirty, it stunk, the smoke detector, hair dryer and tv mount were all ripped out of the walls. They had toilet paper filling these holes. We pulled back the comforter which had cigarette burns on it to realize the sheets were full of holes. It was late and we opted to stay for the night the next morning we decided we were not staying here one more second. We went to the lobby where the grumpy old man told us we couldn’t get a refund. We took the hit and found something much better for the remainder of our trip. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The property as not as advertised, the air conditioner was disgusting , there was bugs flying around the sink and the walls were covered in spackle from quick patches that were never painted the bottom of the pool was full of sticks and debris and there were 2 hookers in the parking lot. and the manager wouldn't give me a refund when we decided to leave after 15 minutes of being there.

Well first of all I'm a traveling nurse so I just finished up a job and I'm here to rest because I'm flying out tomorrow when I first got here well actually as I was walking up I guess the manager or whoever the person is at the front desk come out in the parking lot and greet me I'm assuming because it's a lot of homeless people in this area he assumed I was one of them I'm very irritated at this point I feel like I was profiled when I mentioned something to him about it he was like oh I just seen you had bags you know and I said okay I didn't see anything on the app that said a $50 deposit but as soon as I booked the room I paid for the room right then and there I had to give him a $50 deposit which I didn't have $50 in cash I told him to use my car never in my life have I been asked to show someone proof that money has came out of my account the only reason I am staying here tonight is because I've already paid for the room and it's too much of a hassle to get my money back so that's my experience so far which is not good and I will not be staying here again. as for the room the room looks okay I don't know if anything work or not cuz I haven't tried anything I'm very annoyed and whoever read this profile over this establishment right here I would like for them to get back with me thank you

The advertised "Breakfast Included" has apparently NOT been available for more than a year, and the Receptionist informed me that she'd advised the website not to offer it. No coffee making equipment in room or fridge as was offered. No coffee at reception. Room floors so dirty our feet were black. Blood stains on sheets. Connecting door could not be locked. Front door had been kicked in and all trim wood was split. Pool had lots of trash floating and water was not clear. Very dissappointing as we had 3 grand-daughters with us, and we had planned to eat breakfast and swim, before leaving - neither of which were we able to do Don't offer "Free Breakfast" when it has not been available for over a year. Deceptive Trade Practice!!!

Disgusting even for a night!

This was by far the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. So glad it was for one night before an early flight. No service whatsoever. Called for towels 3 times because there was none and never came. Called the office and he said he'd be right up, never came. Rumor has no batteries. Walls were disgusting. Bathroom was filthy. Outside was very dirty and in desperate need of repair. I would never recommend not stay here again. The first room we got was still occupied, then we received the second which was all of the above. The sheets were the only thing that seemed clean and we checked for bed boss and didn't find any traces. So that's is the only reason we stayed. If we find evidence in a few days, i will update the review. I would advise against staying here!

Disappointed and Disgusted!

Review I had for days inn: I would not recommend anyone to stay here. No hot water. Bugs in room. Parking lot torn up! Toilets are too low. Room felt dirty. The decor is outdated..Cracked walls, paint, just not clean. The whole place should be condemned and rebuilt. When I first arrived there were 2 men outside of the office openly having sex…I cannot unsee that.

The room in general was ok. When we entered, as the room has no carpet we felt good, but then we got discomfort; the coffee-maker was broken, some towels and linens no completely clean. But in cleanliness topic, the most we didn't like was the way to access to the 2nd floor room; hall, parking, stairs were very dirty and ugly for us. Additionally, we have no breakfast My point is no to do a review; it's basically a note for the administration to improve in general its business.

Beg bug bite!!!

I checked in around 9:30pm. I awoke around 2:30am to a pain in my arm. I got up and found a bed bug. I reported to the front desk and she basically blew me off. I asked for another room she just said no and shrugged. Ive taken video of the bug and will gladly turn it over if requested.

Went to check in and the Man at the front desk was rude. Not only to me but to a guest that had already checked in and was trying to get coffee. Lobby was closed due to COVID restrictions but there wasn't a sign staring the lobby was closed. Hotel room was dirty specifically the floors and bathroom door. There was mold on the ceiling and the ventilation fan did not work. The bath tub wouldnt drain during a shower and the handle broke off during the shower. Will not be booking another hotel room with this specific location. This specific hotel needs alot of work.

Property was not what was displayed pictures. I realize most pictures are stock photos but hotel room felt really old and had a certain smell to it. Shower was dirty and water handle wasn’t installed properly onto wall. Bed felt really uncomfortable and sheets felt old as well.

I got to the property and found many people outside drinking and smoking , then they gave me two room one of them was already occupied by two half naked men …. Then went down and told the clerk and gave me another room that could not lock the door. Went back to tell it was not expectable and he told its k not to worry about it… I had my three daughters with me and wasn’t about to let anything happen to them so I left the building …. I would never every go there again. Putting profit ahead of public safety is not good practice

The outsides of ALL of the doors needed paint, the inside of the door on my room, and I'm sure in others was just nasty, the inside of the refrigerator was disgusting, complete with rust and I'm pretty sure mold, and didnt hardly get cool let alone cold. The bathroom was nasty, the wascloths looked dirty. Definitely not worth the $80 i paid for the one night i was there. The 1 good thing was that the owner was kind enough to take me to the airport the following morning because the shuttle wasnt running when i needed to be there.

There was a mildew smell in the room. There had been obvious water damage from upstairs. The repair site on the ceiling was black. Despite stating they allowed pets they failed to mention the fee. I still have a $90 charge pending although I paid in full on the Hotels.com site. The entry is very easy to miss especially if you are not familiar with the area. I do not recommend this motel.

1. She tried to charge me $20.00 cash to check in less than an hour early. 2. She tried to get me to give her $50.00 cash for deposit and said she couldn't put it on my credit card because we prepaid through expedia. 3. Bed covers had literal burn holes in them. 4. Bathroom light was so dim, we could not shower without using flashlights from the phone. 5. Was never given anything for checkout. No receipt, nothing. I understand that its supposed to be a cheap hotel. I have been to plenty of them in my life. I have never written a bad review until now. Do not stay here.

I was charged $450 for 2 nights for a place that looked like it should’ve been $60 per night. I requested a non-smoking room and it smelt like cigarettes, the bed sheets where dusky like they had been the same sheets for a while, the shower handle had duck tape all around

Don’t stay here

First when I arrived I was told i didn’t have a room nor was on available at the moment. Keep in mind I had already paid for it. Then was told they didn’t know when on would be ready. I checked in after 3pm. When arrived in the room My water to the rr was not even on. Also refrigerator didn’t work. Highly recommend don’t stay here waste of money!

It was horrible. The toilet was filthy, the sheets looked like they had not been changed, the inside door was so dirty I hesitated to use the door handle. I immediately went down to get my reservation canceled and get a refund but the lady said I would have to go through the booking company. She also charged me an additional fee of $50 that I would get back later. I have never complained about a reservation or motel room before but this was horrible! Please refund my money.

This hotel needs major updating and maintenance. The room (226) had a stale odor, was missing the tv remote and microwave, had lights that were missing light bulbs, and 2 old dirty chairs blocking the door leading to the next room. When we tried to lock the room door, we realized the deadbolt wouldn't lock. The door appeared to have been kicked in at one point because the door frame was broken. We called the office on my cell phone, because there was no phone in the room, to let them know we would need a different, more secure room. We were told there were no other rooms. Once we requested a refund, they magically found a room to accommodate us. The lady at the front desk told us that if they had to make the bed in the first room we would be charged. The funny part is that making the bed should've been the least of their concerns! The next room we were given keys to (220) was already occupied! We definitely startled the occupants seeing as though it was after midnight. Eventually we were given the keys to a safer room and were able to get some much needed rest. The new room had a dirty shower, Complete with hair that wasn't ours on the wall (see pics). I definitely would not recommend this hotel nor will we ever stay there again.

I needed to book a two hotel rooms. I booked it remotely using Expedia. When we checked in the room was dirty, stains on the bed, and it smelled of smoke (despite being listed as non-smoking). It was overpriced and not very nice.

I've traveled the world, sometimes staying in very poor accommodations in developing countries. This was worse than anything I've ever stayed in. Not only did they charge well over $200/night (because they could) but it was bad from any perspective. No pillowcases and when I tracked down the aged, semi-crippled housekeeper I was given one possibly clean pillow-case for my 3 pillows. Sheets may or may not have been clean. No wastebasket and when she came in to fluff my bed after the fist night, just left my trash. When I got up to take a shower and get ready for a wedding, the shower didn't work. Handle broke off in my hand so no water. Advertised free breakfast but there was nothing and not a drop of coffee to be found. Filthy safe was locked shut and unusable. Check-in took forever. Much need of repair and redecorating. Moldy, peeling paint among many other things. Closet stuck shut. I will never stay in a Days Inn again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

This was an absolutely vile place, and a terrible stay. The place looked like it was straight out of a horror movie, complete with grinded metal doors. Room reaked of pot, the walls were filthy, and even with the deadbolt locked, I could see daylight all around the door. For a woman staying by myself, it was beyond scary. A train would go by, and literally make the floors shake. The owner was beyond rude, completely ignored the customer ahead of me fo 10 minutes. Forced us to do business through the night window in a tiny vestibule, had the lobby doors locked the entire time. He also forgot to return my id.

Disappointed

I usually don’t write reviews. But, what happened with this Hotel has made me decide to write the review. Starting with check in:- I was given a room that already has one in it. Then I was given another room. The room condition was bad. The door was broken from inside, the curtain was torn, the bathroom was not clean and it has a lot of hairs on the floor. The stairs were looking very bad. The air condition was making a lot of noise that made sleeping a hard thing to do.. What is worse that the pictures of the room in the website is not compatible with what we had at all..

Simply as the bed has tons and tons of bedbugs we would of have gone back home but we all the way to San Antonio (6 hrs away from home) and looking through google this was the only hotel available. Linen is dirty Almost all the stuff is broken And the worst part are the roaches and bedbugs.

I can go back to that place.

The condition of the room was terrible. The bat tup looks dirty, the all bath area and restroom really not good at all. I know we pay few dollars, and they will say you got what you pay. That is not the reason for keeping the arras clean and presentable to the customers. I always know about this hotels company, and they just to have a great reputation.

I had the worst experience ever at a hotel. There was no cable, no phone, the hotel look like it was run down with the door paint peeling off. I was afraid to take a shower because the bathroom was so dirty and for a couple only offered one tile and one toilet paper. Basically the only thing that was pretty was a pool

This location appears to be family owned and operated, everyone was very kind and accommodating. They really really helped me with checkout, as my current situation with a back injury has left it very difficult for me to move around the way I want/need to. They really saved our weekend, as we have not had running water in more than a week at our home. We had a great stay, we were very cozy, the bed was very comfy and clean, the floors and furnishings were very clean, the room was very spacious and I was just sooo happy they had clean bathrooms and hot water!! It’s clear that this is a labor of love for those working there and they work very very hard to take care of their guests. I will recommend this location to friends and family, and possibly return, myself. I cannot say how grateful we are!

Due to the snowstorm could not use the pool, it looked nice. Very uncomfortable due to electrical/water power outage. No TV at all due to Spectrum outage. It was snowing so we were a little late moving out, just after 11. Lady was rude saying we had to be out already. We left a bag with items and nobody knew where it was, they all said they did not see it. I found it in the trash bin and luckily it was intact. I would not stay at this hotel ever again, although the family maintaining the property is very nice and doing their best to accommodate.

Sorry place to stay

The worst place we have ever stayed. Ask for a non smoking on first floor due to my service connected disability. Since I had already had paid for room, he told us we had to take 2nd floor room and no refunds. No phone in room and if we had had one, would have call San Antonio Police for a disturbance next door. Water was barely warm. Bedside lights were only controlled with switch by door. I could go on and on, but my BEST ADVISE is to stay away from this Days Inn, at all cost.

Completely not worth your time

This location looks nothing luke any of the pictures on the site. Exposed wires next to the sink, pet fur on the bed and stains on the towels in the bathroom. Left immediately and found a different place to stay.

It was clean but the bathroom door was broken and almost falling down, the screws were barely holding the upper hinge to the door frame and the bottom screws holding the hinge were missing, I told them about it twice and they didn't fixed it.
