I wish I could give this property a negative score and use the money we gave towards tearing this place down. To say this motel was disgusting would be the understatement of the century and I’ve never been more offended of a sleeping accommodation in my entire life. Whoever reads this needs to reach out to me directly so we can schedule a time to talk, or I will call until someone does. This was beyond unacceptable and I will be waiting for a phone call or email to send the pictures and give you the opportunity to get our money back to us, as you should have paid us to sleep in that filthy establishment. I will be waiting for a phone call or email.

I never stayed at The Days Inn. I reserved a handicap accessible room with handrails. I called the hotel to confirm as instructed and was advised not available. I was told by the Days Inn that since the room was booked through Expedia.Com they would contact Expedia to let them know that I was not staying there.

This hotel was absolutely awful if I could give it zero stars I would. When we first got into our hotel room I noticed the bed spread was dirty and the sheets looked like it had blood stains on it so I asked for new sheets and the guy gives me another set of dirty sheets so instead he gives me a whole other room because he can’t find clean sheets without stains and that room also had dirty sheets and when I talked to him about it he blamed it on poor housekeeping well it sounds like to me you need to hire new housekeeping and invest in new sets of sheets. He didn’t even apologize or offer a refund. Will NOT be staying again. Absolutely disgusting. 10/10 do NOT reccomend

Never again unless they update

The hotel seemed to be in the process of reconditioning, however, badly stained comforters and shower curtains are uncalled for. As well, the complimentary breakfast was the stingiest I have ever encountered.

Room key did not work on door. The master key was the only key that would work. Was offered a different room but before I even paid for the room I asked for 1st floor and was told plenty rooms were available. After paying was told only the one w/o key was available. Carpet was FILTHY. Comforter on bed had odd stains on it. Brown splatters on wall across from the bed. Bed felt like air mattress with low air. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone until after a serious renovation is done. Area where vending machines are had the heat on, why. Phone had caked on dirt and spills on it. Tv remote did not work other than to turn tv on. Paid $67 via Expedia…you definitely get what you pay for. They actually should’ve been paying to stay there. The guy working the desk was pleasant is the only thing positive I can say about this place.

The bathroom mirror was very nice. The housekeeping staff was rude, I was told I could check out at 12pm and they banged on the door at 10:30am. No ice bucket in the room. And breakfast was not really a breakfast that I'm use to them serving.

Unclean and dated. Find another place!

Checking in the clerk was less than friendly. My first red flag was the entry to the room was on outside. No feeling of security. We entered the room which was in a horrible condition. Big stain on chair cushion, carpet looked worn and dirty. Bed headboard was gouged and badly scratched. Windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out very well. We ltook back the sheets and exposed the mattress. There were bug droppings, cigarette burns soiled and disgusting! We ate the room rate which was over $129 and left and found another place to stay.

The location was okay, but the room was a bit dirty. That walls had stains and visibly had not been wiped down. The one towel in the bathroom was of yellow tint and had stains. The key to the room did not work. The staff had to let us in the room, and we did not have a working key fob our entire stay. Pretty inconvenient.

We ended up not staying due to the grossness of the whole facility. The rooms were disgusting and dirty. The bed had stains on it and there were bed bugs. The manager said we would not be charged but we still were. Wet disappointed in Expedia for even making such disgusting facilities to choose from on their site.

I was very upset by the state of my NON SMOKING room, which upon opening the door, we were choked by the smell of old, stale cigarettes. This was just the beginning, I had to spend an hour scrubbing the room with my own cleaning products before I felt comfortable letting my daughter touch anything. The AC unit was clogged with so much dust, there were dust bunnies on the floor after i gave it a thorough wipe down, so we would not be compounding the irritation to our lungs brought about by old cigarette smell. The only furniture that was not truly disgusting was the bed and even then we were not able to use their duvet as there many suspect stains. Disgusting and broken shower/tub drain, broken tiles on the bathroom floor ,"mystery" stains on the bathroom walls, shower stall and the (broken) handicap accommodation stool. A chair that had a disgusting stain on the seat. The chair at least proved useful since the room did NOT have a dead bolt (anymore at least, you can see where it was ripped from the wall) and I ended up barricading the door with it at night. Due to the cleanliness, or lack there of, in the room, we did NOT take part in the free breakfast, if their staff cannot properly wipe down a shower of all things, then I dread to think of the state of the ice machine let alone any kitchen utensils that are used every day to feed multiple strangers. If i had had any other option, I would have asked for my money back and stayed elsewhere.

Dirty, without any concern shown by management. If it is really going through remodeling, they are not systematically completing rooms and placing guests in new accommodations. Continental breakfast was a joke and I was too scared to look at room, marked as fitness. We left as quickly as possible after seeing the breakfast.

I paid for my room the same way ive done it all week and i get someone banging on my door at 9pm at night while im asleep saying that i was supposed to check out. She made me show her my bank statement where it was taken out and continued to argue with me that it was a different hotel when ive been here all week. No refrigerator in the room like they say it does. Dirty and stained sheets and blanketing.

This stay was terrible. The person who checked us in was sleeping on the couch next to the front desk on a dirty sheet and it smelled like body odor. Then there was trash cigarettes and dirty socks going up the stairs. The door lock wouldn't light up when you put the key next to it, so you had to guess if it worked. The inside frame was gone, so you couldn't latch the door closed. There was a punched hole in the crappy bathroom door. Several places had missing trim. There was a huge puddle of water in the bathroom floor. The bedroom floor was dirty with trash on it. The shower stall had been damaged and poorly patched. My associate who stayed in the room next to me had similar issues, but his door wouldn't even lock! He propped a chair against the door. Also the pillows were mis-matched and appeared dirty. Worst stay in a hotel/motel that I have ever experienced.

It was a relatively cheap room and the bed was comfortable enough, but I noticed a bunch of problems right from the start. First, the lock didn't work from the outside - i.e. you could just walk right in without the keycard (horribly unsafe). Second, maintenance left a bottle of cleaning fluid in the room. Third, the fridge had something left in it, and so much ice buildup near the freezer that you couldn't put anything in it if you wanted to. Fourth, there was no garbage pail near the bathroom. Fifth and last, there was gunk and hair all over the bathroom floor. It worked out for me, but at the very least, they need to replace the door lock, and do a slightly better job of maintenance.

The enamel on bathtu7b was peeling, there were yellow stains (rust?) Hair dryer did not work and was loose on the wall, there was a big stain on the chair that looked like an old blood stain, there were blood stain on the bedspread, the vending machine was empty except for 3 bags hot cheetos, 3 bags of M & M's and 2 rice krispy treats. very disappointed.

A work in progress

Looks like this hotel is undergoing a renovation. Some things in the room were brand new, while some looked worn out or partially repaired. Overall, it was comfortable and clean, though the tub was stained and the cover plate was gone from the bathroom fan.

The first room I was in was extremely dirty. I arrived very late so was just wanted to get some rest. But had to practically wipe all surfaces and sanitize everything before I could even jump in the shower. Towels looked like washed but still dirty with a lot of stains. Started having a bad asthma attack and figured out what triggered it. AC/heater was so grossly dirty. Looked like it has never been cleaned for years. Early morning had to call the front desk requesting ac/heater to be cleaned. Told him I don't want to have another asthma attack and ending up at the hospital. The guy put me in another room which was slightly cleaner then the previous one but still dirty. Bath tub had all soap stains and hair. Also noticed the fitted sheets are also grossly dirty with stains. Had to bring in my own blanket which I keep in my car for winter. The front desk person did give me a new set of clean towels which was I think the only positive side during my stay. I have stayed in other Days Inn properties but this is so far the DIRTIEST!!!

poor ~ there were holes in the walls in our room. carpet was filthy. way too much noise ALL NIGHT LONG. overall, I wouldn't stay here again. staff was nice & helpful, but everything else was in very poor state, including the entire hotel smelled of damp and mildew.

We did not stay in this place. The room reserved . was in bad condition. Our key did not work. After attendent was able to get our room open. We had no way to secure the door . light switch was broke. There was brown stuff smeared on the vanity. There was coffee but no coffee pot. Attendent. Said he would give us a room in the morning. So we book another room at a nother hotel.

Third-world hotel, surrounded by better options. Card door keys do not work, even the manager's "master key." The entire property is filthy and run down. No towels in the room, nor cups or drinking glasses. The door lock was broken off. The check-in area is dimly lit and not airconditioned.

The room was clean but run down. There was visible damage to the door, and the tub was peeling. It was also very cramped - there was hardly room to spare to move around. OK for sleeping but not someplace I would want to spend any extra time in.

One night stay

The room was clean, but the refrigerator wasn’t working well enough to keep our ice packs frozen. The king size bed was comfortable. We heard air flights from Indianapolis airport from our room. We were told there was a breakfast at 6 am, but very little was placed out—some packaged muffins and bottled juice. The coffee was poor—we didn’t bother with the room coffee maker because it hadn’t been cleaned.

Deep clean needed

Room was outdated but worked functionally. Sheets were clean but room was in need of a deep clean—dusty behind the TV, mung on a mirror and I could see my footprints in the bottom of the bathtub. When I pushed a damp floor mat on the floor and turned it over it was also dirty. I get that it’s hard to find good help but a clean bed and shower should be a minimum to rent out a room.

I needed the room in a pinch. I had seen the ratings and had low expectations. But, my expectations were exceeded. Just gross. Stained bedding. Bugs. Smelled awful. Noisy. Just overall terrible. Also, no breakfast as advanced. Zero stars.

Pretty good room

The air conditioning/heater unit worked great without making a bunch of noise, the shower had great water pressure and the water wasn't oversoftened to the point where you rinse for a half hour and still feel soapy like other hotels I've been to, the room was clean, i didn't see any evidence of bugs or other vermin, and the bed was damn comfortable. I travel a lot for work and these things are more important to me than glitz or glamor. I'll be back at this hotel when I'm working near Plainfield.

Just met our need without luxury

This is an older hotel that is starting to wear out. The staff was very kind and helpful, but half the plugs in the room didn't work, and for being a "handicap accessible room" there wasn't enough room to get my walker past the foot of the bed and into the bathroom. For the price, it met our needs for the night, but there was no luxury involved. Breakfast was bare minimum in a grab and go paper sack.

It was better than what I expected based on comments I read prior to bookking. The bed was very comfortable. I also like having fridge, microwave and coffee maker and all other conveniences in the room. There is nothing really I did not like considering that this is not 2-stars hotels. If I have to say a negative, I do not particularly like the bath resurfacing but it was fine for showers.
