Property is lovely but it could use a major face lift because the facility looks run down. It feels safe here, though, and its quiet. My room was adequately clean, and the bathroom looked clean and sanitary. The toilet needed repairing, and someone came quickly and did an expert job. I asked for the staff to change the bed linens which someone did promptly. The staff are very nice and very responsive.
The bed wasn't that clean the sheets was stained and there were roaches in the room not a good place to stay would not recommend to anyone
Staff was kind
They always have coffee made. Staff is helpful and polite. Good quality for the price. Has improved since my last stay. Bummer about the free breakfast not available but overall great value for the price.
If youre looking for cheap one or two night stay then its fine. But its not upto basic standards. They dont have breakfast. 1 lamp was not working.
Arrived at 6 pm room had not been cleaned, unmade bed, towels on floor and bathroom. Went to the office to receive a different key and that room had not been serviced either. I will not ever stay there. Rude employees and lack or service. Breakfast was supposed to be served but was informed immediately they only had a plain bagel. I’m upset that this can be called a good motel according to Expedia.
The sheets were dirty and stained. There was these big red spots on the curtains… And they sure did look like blood. When we entered the room, it smelled really bad! We asked for another room and it was the same. Except the lamp didn’t have a shade on it so all you got was two lightbulbs. It was also kind of scary because people were smoking weed on the stairs, going to the second floor. The big giveaway should’ve been that parking lot in the front of the hotel was completely empty and then on the side where there is a little bit more parking, there was three cars. Do not consider staying at this hotel! Especially if you have kids, it would just be kind of dangerous.
Absolutely did not feel safe! Window was busted on the outside, half the lights did not work, constant noise/arguing.
Microwave Dirty and inop. TV inop, Window broken. Fire Alarm missing, wires hanging out. Sheets stained, mattress stained and dirty. feces stain on wall. All brought to attention of front desk with no support from them.
It was alright, rooms/common weren't really clean. Lots of things we're broken (my sister's room had no working tv or microwave). Not the staffs fault, it served it's purpose for a quick evacuation crash spot. It was much cheaper than other options.
Hell hotel.
Horrible. The room smelled of mold. We lifted the Sheets in there were s*** stains on the mattress cover. It looked as if the room was in the middle of a remodel. No shades on the lamps. Plaster patches on the walls. The bathroom was filthy Lee and it looked like there was poop on the floor in the shower. We opened up a towel and it was full of beard Hair or pubic hair. I cannot emphasize how discussing this place was.
This property was unkept, odor in the lobby and rooms was extreme.
Please, if you go here, be safe and take great care with your hygiene.
Lettuce pray
Checked in. Went to our room and between the lettuce and hair, yes lettuce… in the sink, and the filthy sheets we immediately went to front desk and was refunded. Do not stay here unless you like filth.
Don't ever stay here!
This place felt like I was staying in a crack house! Scantily clad women roaming in and out of open doors all around. The bolt hole in the door frame was stuffed with toilet paper keeping the door from locking like someone was going to try and get back in the room. I had to dig it out to get the door to lock. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the whole place reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. I turned the bathroom fan on and the smell just got worse. People were knocking on my door and the doors around me at all hours of the night. They charged a $50 security deposit, which was not mentioned when I booked the hotel. I still haven't gotten it back. The bed looked like they just pulled the blankets back up after the last guest stayed there. The towels looked like my children folded them. The sink still had tooth paste in it from the previous guest. I didn't feel like I could even take a shower. I can't believe this is a Wyndham Days Inn!
Bedding needs improvement
The staff was very friendly except the man who worked night shift. I had an incident where a guy was knocking on my door and me being alone w my nine month old baby I answered it bc they kept knocking and they tried to force themselves in I had to push them out with all my strength. Also a lot of drug activity goes on at this hotel. The bed sheets had stains on them. It definitely wasn't worth for what I paid for. And lied about free Continental breakfast. It's only coffee . And only in morning. The day hotel clerk and house keeper were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was disgusting it is not open.
Worst hotel i have ever been to..
Sheets dirty .Not cleaned properly and had fleas..I just went ahead and checked out..
This was one of the worst hotels i have stayed at. Disgusting rooms. We had to be moved to another room because of the ac not working, mold on the ceiling, and dirty linen. The first room the bed actually had a foot print on it. We had to stay because it was to late for us to find another room and we were extremely tired. But we had to put a sheet that we brought over the bed so that we could sleep. The walls, ceiling, all around the ac, and the lamp shades had mold and dust. It was gross. The shower was disgusting also and the hot and cold was reversed. Its unbelievable that Expedia would even suggest this hotel. No breakfast like the information said, not sure if i would want to eat anything from this place but was hoping they had prepackaged foods and they had nothing but coffee with powdered creamer and sugar, no substitute sugar for me, a type 1 diabetic. There was noise and stuff going on all night and they clearly have long term renters who have stuff all over the place and wonder around the property like weirdos. I will sleep in my car before i was to stay here again.
I will stay here if the job brings me back here again It was quiet
Bathroom door broken , shower curtain, sheets and cover all had stains and burn holes. The last guest still had food in the fridge.
All good
Nice for the price.
Beds were comfortable.
Room was very clean and staff was friendly. I think there was a prostitution ring in the room next door that was very loud with a lot of shouting in the middle of the night.
I left. I didn’t feel safe and the place was filthy and super sketchy.
When I arrived the first room 2106 was not cleaned from prior guest , 2208 key would nou work , 1 hour later they put me in another room , refrigerator would not cool. I was over this place by then , next morning the owner said we hadnt paid for 2 nights and was saying its time to check out. After proving to him it was a 2 night stay they never gave us towels ... last time here
When I booked this room, the advertisement information noted that breakfast came with the room. When I went down to breakfast this morning, the receptionist told me that the management decided to stop serving breakfast because the hotel lost money serving breakfast. I requested to speak with a manager and the receptionist told me that no one was available to talk with me. Additionally, the room had a foul odor, the towels were stained and the television service stop working due to the “signal was lost” and it did not return. Services at this location were very substandard and the receptionist on duty this morning didn’t seem to care about addressing my issues.
Did not like out stay. I killed a roach crawling across the TV. The floor had not been mopped in a long time. The mattress had mold on it. We will never stay there again.
Employees were very friendly they did the maintenance but NO internet their claim of WIFI is a joke
No internet half the time, unless you sit in the lobby. I have to struggle to get toilet paper and my room has only be swept one e in 3 weeks.
OK for 1 night
It is OK if you want to stay for one night. There was NO Breakfast. The surrounding area was nice, you will find many restaurants.
Disgusting
I did not stay at this hotel and requested a refund. I will never stay or book at a Days Inn again. Dirty beyond belief. Mold smell hit your nose at the door. disgusting
Clean rooms, friendly knowledgeable staff Only issue is the internet, the lack of WiFi is very frustrating and when documents need to be sent and you can’t, not a great thing, only bad thing
Staff was very nice. Bar next door was loud.
Good place
Very good customer service and manners. Everything was nice.
If you want cigarette burns in blankets of a non-smoking room, broken furniture and to be kept up past 11pm by highly intoxicated resident guests, this is for you. There was food left in the fridge from the previous guests, rusted fixtures and the smoke detectors removed from the walls.
Rooms very shabby. Lots of uncleaned spaces. Towels not usable. Skipped showering.
Electric socket along wall where tv and fridge were didn’t work so we had to drag the fridge and microwave by bathroom counter to a socket that worked. Then to use that sink we had to step over the electrical cords. Floor was so sticky we had to scoot across the floor on a towel or wear our shoes. So bad we bought a camper to avoid another such room.
Go
The two gentlemen were kind, but the rooms are substandard; some wreaked of weed (not cool when you have allergies and are told it’s a nonsmoking room); one’s tub leaked into the bathroom & created a pond. And then, quite a bit of police activity the night we were there. The two men tried, but there’s some serious work that needs to be done to remedy these issues.
Unsafe property. People allowed to loiter. Connected to a club & fights breaking out around the building. The room was clearly being worked on holes in wall, dry wall pieces on floor. The shower had material/trash in it. Stained sheets and towels. The furniture was absolutely torn up, the frame of the chair was exposed. Flooring was broken and lifted. People slamming doors and threatening to call police on each other due to violence.
It was to noisy the rooms between me celling and wall paint peeling the bed hurts my back.
Not worth it
I didn’t know there was a deposit to be paid at the hotel once you get. That wasn’t an issue, the issue was I paid the deposit with my card and they charged my card twice. They charged my card the day I checked in and the day I checked out. They only refunded for one deposit and not both. Luckily, I asked for a print out receipt with the hotel’s information on it and I checked my account afterwards. I contacted the hotel and they put in for the second refund. The deposit you get back once you check out. My advice is to pay the deposit in cash. The sheets on the bed were dirty and had a red spot which resembles blood. The shower was not clean, there was even a toothpick on the shower curtain once you got into the shower. There’s no time to rest and they’re very impatient if you have to check out the next day. They stopped and beat on the door and yelled in an aggressive manner a total of three times while we were getting ready to check out. Once we weee checking out I had to wait a long time for someone at the front desk for service. I’ve dialed 0 like it says to do for help, I walked the lobby, and everything they instruct for you to do for assistance. It’s only convenient if you are going to the lounge and don’t want to drive home after a night of drinking. I will not be staying here again.
Did not get my refund for something I didn’t pay for
Place was nasty, blow dryer wires were hanging out and it wouldn't work. Smoke alarm was pulled off the wall and wires hanging down. The chair you had to sit on, the cover was halfway off. They charged $25 a night for my little dog and it was so nasty I was afraid for her to lay on the floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!
The customer serwas EXTREMELY poor!
Bad Location1
The towels had stains which were very visible and didn't appear clean. The door did not close tightly and allowed air to come in. The bed had a squeaking noise and the floor was poorly cleaned.
Noise
There was a party in the room below us it was not real quiet
The room not clean the staff change 4 rooms for us and still all 4 was dirty. The bathroom condition very bad. I don’t recommend staying there.
There were patches on the sheet rock throughout the room, and there were small bugs in the room. I also got sick during my stay which I beleive was from the AC but I can’t prove it.
Good stay
For the price very good deal. Large tv with many channels including the hbo package.
The property wasn’t safe & checking out were terrible
Dead roaches on the floor. Fire alarm/smoke detector ripoed out of the wall. Cigarette burn holes in the bedding. Days Inn refused to refund us.
It was very nice and peaceful
Bed was comfortable
The bed was comfortable, however it looked like there was dried ketchup still on the floor under the bedside table, lamp shades were missing on the light fixtures, television attached to the wall, but was floating inches above a dresser and not even centered above the dresser, the small refrigerator had rust on the outside of it, hard to tell if it was working. The curtains were very old. I killed a cockroach on the bathroom countertop. I’ve never had to leave a cash deposit and then wait for a room to be inspected before it was returned to me. I think this needs to be handled differently and the room renovations completed before guests stay there.
Crap Hotel for a Wyndham
Stayed 12/1-12/4. Where to start??!! Check-in - a deposit! Someone went to check the room before we could go to the room. Get in room, No kleenex, 1/2 roll toilet paper, towel is rack rusty, stain in sink, no soap or shampoo, room smelled musty and like someone was smoking in it prior to us. The bedding was stained. Lamp shade was gross, smoke or nicotine stained and broken. One chair, not ergo as stated in ad. Room was nonsmoking, but still had ashtray, then garbage cans outside of room for butts!!! House keeping took forever to replace towels! Put your towels outside the door, then you expect them to knock within 5 minutes, oh no try 4 hours later!!! Also appears if you stay longer than 1 day staff puts you near long term stays. Sure wish I took pics. Breakfast you needed to ask for waffle mix, why??? Staff was rude, hotel is old as dirt. The hotel appears to have long term guests. Days Inn in Attalla AL was much better. Will not be back.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Bed frames are made on metal and are severely rusted! Bed was dirty! Left immediately and booked a different hotel.
Mangers extremely rude but the rooms are nice
The property is very dated and smells accordingly. It needs to be closed and gutted inside out.
When we arrived for our check-in, we inspected the rooms beforehand. After inspecting the room we were assigned, it did not have a closet to hang our clothes. We were then offered another room which had a closet, and was on our description that it would be an interior room. They wanted to place us in an exterior room, not happy!
I didnt like i had wait 4 and half hours for a room to be available for me .After i done drove a long ways get here and have to turn around and wait another 4 1/2 hours to be assigned a room after i been on expedia website and resrved me room already. And afrer i got room assigned too me abd booked online with my debit card .The desk clerk wanted a $150.00 dollar deposit for the room i reserved online with my debit card.
The property has several extended stay residents, making it feel very seedy. The location isn’t terrible, not the best, but far from terrible. That paired with it being run down, stains everywhere and general lack of care from owners/management makes for an uncomfortable stay. Our “non smoking” room reeked of stale cigarette smoke and that contributed to it feeling “unclean.” I wasn’t comfortable walking barefoot on the bedroom floor and I also showered with shoes on. You get what you pay for here @ $55/night. I actually feel like I overpaid, to be honest.
Never Again!
Room was barren ripped chair, hole in bathroom door, no rack for hanging clothes, no hair dryer
Algunas cosas
Highly recommended. Staff is awesome motel is clean and updated rooms. The best and I mean best days Inn I ever stayed at from Florida to New York
the service and staff were good but the room was bad because of the smell and the sheets had a sour smell
First this property manager is extremely rude and confrontational. When I first checked in he had the nastiest attitude and was very condescending. Then I extended my stay because I was tired from the heat and had a long drive ahead of me. I checked with the overnight clerk early in the morning to verify my second reservation. the manager shows up at my door the in the afternoon attempts to walk straight into my room while I was sleep, but couldn’t because I had the latch on. He’s yelling through the door saying I don’t have a reservation refused to close the door and screaming that I had to come outside. I go back to sleep and he calls my cell phone screaming at me saying that I need to come to the office to redo my reservation and sign paperwork. Obviously angry, I went to the office to show him my reservation and sign paper, he continues to yell and scream at me. I give him the signed document and go back to my room and the key is no longer working. I go back to the office and he says that I don’t have to stay there and he’s cancelling the reservation. He calls the police to escort me off the premises, but forgot to tell them I had all of my stuff still in the room. Not only that, but at night there are constant drunk and high people walking past your door and in the parking lot. The place isn’t clean. There are drug addicts in the cleaning staff. This whole place should be shut down and restarted under new management and staff.
The staff was kind but that was where the good stops. The room had roaches, some other bug (?), and the blankets had stains and burn holes. The mattress “protector” looked like it had been used as a construction zone drop cloth (completely covered in dirt stains) and the layer under the sheets had mold and mildew stains on it. The smoke alarm was ripped off of the wall. The room had an unpleasant odor as well but that was the least of our concerns. Further, the parking lot of the hotel seemed to be being used as a hang out for people that had been in some next door lounge, definitely didn’t feel like a safe and secure spot.
Low Cost Room Matters More
Our hotel room was adequate for our purpose. The chair in the room was ripped and dirty and the ceiling spackle was falling off in the bathroom. It also didn't smell very good in the room. However, that being said, I would rather have the low rate that we were given rather than spend a ton on a room just to sleep in. And the front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. And they even offered a small breakfast and coffee and a pool. We weren't there on vacation but were there for a family member's medical procedure, so we weren't in the room long enough to really care. I appreciated the lower rate for sure!
I went to the hotel and was told there were no more rooms available. I then sent a message to you via chat because I could not find the email confirmation from you right away. The automated chat was not helpful. I needed to speak with a person. Leaving this hotel frustrated I booked a hotel through another booking site that was a horrible place but had a room available. I saw the email that came separately from the flight and car when I returned home. Not sure why it was not a part of the flight and car email. I did not cancel the reservation within 24 hours because I thought you did not book the hotel and did not see the separate email until I got back home. I should be refunded as I ended up booking a different hotel for more money and in horrible condition.
Roaches in room, People hanging outside that appeared to be homeless - never even slept there was too afraid. Checked in and did not unload our luggage as we were on way to a baseball tournament when we got back someone had been in our room left toilet seat up. Talked to manager said nothing he could do but check cameras we checked out and went to La Quinta where we have stayed before in much cleaner, safer surroundings just a few miles down the road. Will be requesting refund.
Stay somewhere else. Staff un accommodating. Ignored my reservation even tho I showed it to him. Grounds dirty. Room in poor repair. Check in clerk suggested not to book thru 3rd party rather book direct to receive the correct room at the correct price. Breakfast was a joke, too.
The service and comp breakfast were skimpy, it made me feel like they just did enough to minimally get by
Room had all the amenities ripped off the wall, to include the smoke detector, just a hole with wires hanging out, things like the tv remote were covered in slime. The hotel double charged me deposit for more than double what the booking cost and the person checking me in had no clue about it saying there may or may not be a charge. Overall pick anywhere else.
Stay Elsewhere
Not a place I will stay again. Very old facility. No elevator. Booked and paid in advance for an inside room room. I had to pay an extra $10 to get the room I had already paid for. No tissue in room. Bathroom had almost no amenities.
My granddaughter and I came up from florida. The room was extremely dirty , look like they haven’t changed the sheets, we slept in our clothes. Will definitely not stay here again.
don't stay here
there were roaches in the rooms.stains everywhere.we were moved to another room whitch was terrible.my aunt had a spider in her bed. would not recommend this hotel to my dog.
convenient location. First room assignment was in poor condition. The most important deficiency was that the fire detector had been removed and placed in a drawer. A wire was cut and so could not be connected. The second room offered was better, but the refrigerator was inoperable. The staff were all nice.
Mo
Not satisfied
The room was not very clean and it had bug's and the paint was peeling from the ceiling
Floors had not been cleanex in a long time, smelled muskie, refrigerator was dirty.
DOTHAN CHARM
OVERALL ALL I ENJOYED THE STAY LOVE IT .
Spend $ elsewhere
Room smelled of mold, shower was slow to drain, hallway trashcans weren't emptied, ice maker didnt work, asked for toilet paper as ours were empty upon arrival and never received any.
Room wasn’t clean the faucet in the sink wasn’t latched down to the counter top definitely not worth the money
Place was nasty and was not safe. Needs to be shut down
Nasty, disgusting!! Take this one off your list.
It appeared clean but when you look at the sheet there we spots on bottom sheet. Sheets felt damp each night. The 1st night a big big roach was crawling on the floor near the bed. I ran an got tbe guy at the front desk, he found him but let him get away. Tbey did not offer me another room. I stayed awake ALL nite. The next day i addressed it with the owners n the female said its that time of the year when they come out n nothing they can do about it. I told her to go to HD and get home defense n spray. The next nite was ok but i go up about 3 a.m. to go to bathroom n there was another one crawling on the dresser. I got dressed n left. I came back later to talk n see if they wiuld discount my room. Everyone kept saying i need to talk with this person or tnis person. So finally they gave me a number the manager back.
O
Roach Motel
This room had dead roaches on the floor. I saw a roach crawling across my bed. There was no toilet paper. It was disgusting.
Filthy, deliberated and just poor overall.
Do not stay
The room smelled so bad and the place was not suitable for children to be there.
The Lobby was dirty. There was a broken chair behind the counter, cardboard boxes stacked in the corner, handprints all over the counter. There was no one in the lobby only a sign to dial 0 on the phone to call for help. As dirty as the place looked I was hesitant to touch the phone to call. The room was fairly clean and had everything I needed. I could hear noise from both inside and outside the hotel in my room all night. Obviously this is an older facility that needs some updating as well as a deep clean.
Horrible hotel
I booked this room for my elderly parents and it was horrible..Roaches were in the room, including the shower. The entire hotel atmosphere wreaked of cigarette smoke…the website pictures absolutely do not portray the actual current day hotel…They were not satisfied!!! Never staying again!!!
Horrible Never Stay Here
I did not stay here because the bed sheets were dirty and the room smelled like a wet dog. The hotel itself looked like a scene from a horror flick. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
This entire property was dirty and not maintained. It wasn’t worth the $100 that we spent for our one night stay. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
It was way better than expected and very comfortable
Clean, economical, safe, convenient
there was paint all over the floor, bathroom towels and rags had stains all over them. there were bugs everywhere. the bathroom floor had like a water damage/mold spot under the counter. the cleaners didn’t knock. just tried to walk in the room, took our towels and didn’t give clean ones. cleaned the floor with a wash rag and a swiffer mop. half of the lights didn’t work.
It was ok

This place is nasty and a dump
I sent message ahead of trip, even called ahead to make sure I was able to park close to my room. The hotel desk guy was rude, and gave me a room furthest from handicap ramp. My key didn't work. I called the front desk after walking about 200 ft, got no answer. Took 20 min to get a hold of him. He then asked me to come to front desk to get key, knowing I have mobility issues. I told him no. He needs to bring me the working key. Finally 30 min later, he came with a key. He couldn't get in either. He gave me another room. He must have realized I was upset and came to his senses, then offered assistance with my suitcase I was rolling around. I politely declined, because I was using it for support, keeping myself upright. Finally I got into a room over an hour after check in. Oh boy! What a treat. The flooring was lifting, causing tripping hazard. There were dirty towels on the floor. There were shorts in the switches. The room stunk. The bed seemed clean. I hope to God it was. I have MS and I was really tired. It was a long drive from St. Louis. When you are tired and have Multiple Sclerosis, you must sleep. I really want to curl up in the fetal position and scrub my body down with bleach and brillo pads. I will be contacting the MS society and sharing my experience with this sleezy motel that doesn't seem to care about people like me. I was made to feel ashamed of myself.
