Worst nights sleep ive ever had in a hotel. Beds are rock solid and can hear everyone in every other room. Cant fault the staff though they are brilliant.
Additional parking charge
Overall it is good. But additional £5 was charged for parking while the receptionist explained that it was due to the fact that my reservation was made through hotels.com.
It’s convenient and it’s clean and well maintained
Very clean and comfortable close to food outlets and services Value for money
Toilet had poo stains
Sadly the previous guest in my room had smoked in the bathroom and it stank. Not the hotel’s fault.
Just stayed for one night before leaving from Birmingham airport. Very happy with the rooms - large bathroom, comfortable beds. Friendly, quick check in. Hotel was easy to get to and close to the airport - just what we needed.
Great hotel in the services, plenty of options for breakfast. Stayed for one night . Staff very friendly.
Perfect for what we needed.
Great choice for a stayover to break up a long journey. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Perfect.
Convenient stay
Good stay based on very late arrival.
Basic and not the cleanest.
Stayed here for easy access to the arena at Coventry when attending a show. Fairly basic place, one of our party had to move rooms due to the cleanliness! I had a room that backed onto the truck park and was woken very early when they started their engines and left them running to warm, them up. Not entirely sure I would stay here again.
Excellent bathroom. Plenty of parking.
Had an Amazing nights sleep. Very comfortable Bed very clean room and friendly welcome. This is my 3rd stay so obviously im impressed.
Nice clean room
Very clean. Polite employees and good price
Emailed twice to hotel that I couldn’t make it. Yet no communication whatsoever.
Awful!
It was the worst stay at a hotel I have ever experienced, the room smelt awful, I’m not one to complain, so I opened the window, hoping the smell would go away, but it didn’t, I started to feel sick, I then went into the bathroom and I was nearly knocked out bir the smell of urine, do I went down to reception, the man wasn’t helpful at all, I told him to come and smell my room, he came up and smelt, he didn’t say much, he told me I could have a different room the following night, I said no way, I’m checking out. It was the last thing I wanted to do. Trying to find another hotel at 10pm on Friday night! Never again! Awful, felt sick, it smelt of dirty dogs!
The Hotel was superb. Friendly staff upon arrival . The Bed was an absolute Dream and so comfortable. Looking forward to a return .
Very good, will stay again
Good location, quiet room and very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, fresh towels and soap/body wash provided. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely stay again.
Lovely comfy rooms, desk space and seating area. Good wardrobe space with iron, ironing board, hairdryer in room. Great WiFi connection. Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is in the services but the walk wakes you up and the food is lovely!
NEC Weekend
Modern, clean, very comfortable. 24hr access too. FABULOUS!!! Only downside was I got a parking fine even though I entered my ref into I pad at reception so VERY ANNOYED by that!!!!!!😞😞
Room was only to stay in for a couple nights. So suited our needs.
Nice and clean place. Perfect for a night stay.
First time staying at this hotel and as a family of 4 plus a small dog this is the best family room we have stayed in. So much space and was very peaceful. We like it so much are rebooking for when we are back in Coventry for Xmas. Oh and the breakfast is yummy too!
Everything was excellent
Very good abd cheap stay. Easy to check in
Convenient, if you are travelling down the correct side of the motorway. Easy to park, reception always manned. Irritation that wifi wasnt working when I arrived late afternoon, issue as I needed to do some work. Room clean, fair value for money.
Great place to stay. Excellent staff very helpful.
Very good for the price.
Always easy check in, staff have been lovely and very accommodating setting things up for the kids
ABSOLUTELY FAB!!!! Yes it’s at a services but it’s extremely modern!!!! Excellent shower & bathroom, good size room, fan also,NO noise from motorway or car park!!!! Super value for money & ideal base for visiting the likes of the NEC & surrounding area!!! Will DEFINITELY return,in fact 2 weeks yesterday we’ll be there.👍
.
one night stay on my way to an event for work, nice welcome although desk was not attended when i first arrived. check in and pay was simplish although i had intended to pay cash but didnt have deposit to leave and wasnt aware (may have not read this) when booking online. room was more than adequate although toilet was hard to flush (room 4) . also neighbours kept opening their adjourning door at 10.30
Really nice place to stay overnight. Very convenient for breaking a long journey.
The staff are very friendly. Wi-fi was a bit up and down but very pleasant stay
Had the worst night sleep ever in a hotel, we were overlooking the HGV park and there was this sound of mahcinery , like a generator that kept humming. The windows are thin so this did not help.
Lovely helpful staff
Really great stop over on way to Lake District . Super friendly staff and comfy rooms
Room and shower room, was very clean. Quite in the room, even though on the M6. Excellent
Family
Matt and Steph were very friendly and welcoming.
Front desk staff was excellent … great spot to relax.
All fab!
The night team were extremely friendly when we arrived, was just a quick one night stay to break the journey up but lovely stay and clean and comfy! Thanks!
Would be very happy to stay here again, just a shame no dining options but nice outdoor seating and services 1min walk to get food.
Great over night rest stop
Amazing affordable stay, hotel was immaculate, best nights sleep in a long time, we will stop here again! Staff were accommodating and welcoming.
Clean I have a nice sleep
Nice little place
Pleasantly surprised. Expected a slightly dingy motel feel, with it being at a service station, but this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room decor was nice and well maintained. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was nice and clean with toiletries provided. Nice that there’s a sign in the room letting you know they can provide anything you might have forgotten to bring. Check in and out was easy. Nice lady on reception. No complaints at all. Only slight niggle would be no PowerPoints next to the bed. Otherwise great place and I’d happily stay here again.
They allow dogs at the hotel I could take my dog into the service station to get food and take back to the hotel my room was clean and tidy plenty of towels even though it was only me I've stayed at this hotel before and that's why I booked it again I would recommend as a good place to stay
All good
Great property. Only issue was being woken up by a cleaner who entered my room at 9:15 when check out time was 11am
Fantastic!
Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and excellent value
It was ok
The staff were amazingly professional. Very helpful. The only downfall was the sofa bed it was really bad, makes noise and my children were not comfortable on it. Those sofa beds needs to be replaced. Also room was too small for family room. Other than that everything was perfect
Broke our journey to Devon 2 hours from home. Easy check-in, friendly staff, easy parking. Clean quiet room and good value for 3 adults sharing the same room.
All great thank you!
Just the ticket!
Very good, just what was needed, complete with a very effective fan on a rather warm summer evening/night. Only faint motorway traffic noise even with the window open. Clean comfortable bed & bedding. Very friendly reception ladies on arrival and on departure. Our second stay in Days Inn and will stay again. Thank you!
Beds, and cleanliness were very good.
Easy to get to, it was great to have it between our stops
Stayed for 1 night from 2300 to 0500 as a stop over half way to a uni open day. Ideal for our circumstances. Clean and tidy room. Tea and coffee. Shower with towels. And a comfy bed. Will return again.
The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms we had were spotlessly clean and very well appointed for the price. We all had a comfortable sleep and will look forward to using the Days Inn again .Thank you 😊
My overnight stay at days inn
The hotel was ok the checkin was simple the receptionist was pleasant the room was clean and tidy andas stated there was plenty of free parking however there was nosise of traffic coming and going as it was situated on the services
Great spot to stay for a touring band. Just off the highway so quiet, has a laundrette behind the hotel that was super helpful. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. Only issue we had was beyond the hotel's control as the guests in the room across from us got into a very loud fight (under the influence of alcohol) at about 2:30am which woke us up, but front desk staff handled as best as possible.
Wasn’t bad, quite modern- but was a hot night and with the window open it was noisy (trucks etc) but overall- cheap and cheerful
The room was clean, modern, spacious, inviting and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were excellent, the shower was very good. Very satisfied with my stay.
It’s at the services…bonus for Starbucks
The website does not show this is located at a service station. My view was of numerous lorries parked up. It was very difficult to access from Coventry Arena - local Uber drivers had difficulty accessing it.
The parking lot was huge, so many food options (the hotel is located in the same area as a highway rest-stop so there were lots of places to eat), and such a quiet and beautiful room. The plus for us was the electric car charging station directly outside the hotel. Our rental car ended up being electric (which was very inconvenient for most of the trip) but when we arrived here we were thrilled that we could park, plug in, and get into our rooms and rest for a bit while the car charged.
The property was fine, but you sold me a room that didn’t exist, they were fully booked when you sold us a room. Luckily some one phoned and cancelled because they were stuck and we got their room. Needless to say not happy that after travelling 300 miles we could have been sleeping in our car.
Very clean and comfy room. Very quiet too considering location. Staff very friendly.
Good value very clean easy parking
Disappointing
Bed was saggy with a dip in the middle. Bed on one side very close to the wall. Bathroom very small not much room between door and sink. Toilet difficult to flush. Large flush didn’t work and small flush had little water. Walking through the bridge to get breakfast was interesting in bad state and a strong smell of urine.
Good place but struggled to get there using maps
I could not easily get to this place from Coventry The side of the motorway and the navigation was not clarified
Cheap But With Many Inconviences
It's cheap as chips, well sort of, I paid £35 per night and that included breakfast. However there are some issues that you have to put up with to get that price. - you can only approach the hotel from one direction off the M6, which I was not told about. Meaning if you travel say to the NEC, on your return journey you have to double your trip length nearly to loop back around. Annoying. - they won't make up your room/towels unless you actively tell them too. - the breakfast is just a voucher for a fairly basic fried breakfast and coffee at the nearby services. You have to walk all the way to the other side of the motorway over the bridge (no disabled access in hotel or services mind) and it's a pretty basic breakfast. Don't go in expecting a continental or buffet breakfast. - the rooms have noise suppression but it's not perfect, you'll still hear some noise. - on that subject their ventilation system is garbage. It works, but works with a noise level that rivals most foghorns. Soon as you turn on bathroom light, it kicks in and it DOESN'T SHUT OFF FOR 20-30 MINUTES! Yeah if you have a slash in the night or do your teeth before bed, you have to start your sleep with that horrible ventilator noise in your ear for ages. No way to cut it short. What kind of dumb system is that? I had to literally use a torchlight on my phone to do my teeth as I didn't want the vent to kick in before bed.
Excellent low cost option near birmingham
Great clean and inexpensive place to stay on the outskirts of b’ham.
Clean and comfortable - lovely staff
Updated reception and communal area. The decor of rooms is slightly dated, but good condition and clean. Shower was nice and big. The mattress was super comfy, I would stay again.
Good overnight stay.Nice room and good price
Bathroom could have been cleaner . And your distances what are listed are incorrect they need updating , we wouldn’t have stayed if we knew how far the university was it’s definitely not 5.6 miles 14 minute drive .
Easy to find food and easy parking
Best value for money hotel in Coventry
One of the best budget hotels in Coventry always has a clean room with plenty of towels and extra pillows if needed. Other staff cannot do enough for you even if arriving gone 11pm as the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning in the room they supply a fan in every room.
Under the bed rubbish not clean
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was quiet and we had a very good night's sleep. The only problem was my phone kept losing the WiFi but the 3 others I was with had no problems with this.
Good location
Very friendly staff! A bit loud, next to the M6 motorway
Convenient for the motorway, but too noisy!
Great for staying overnight if visiting Coventry Arena on business. Only a couple of miles out. Basic, clean and friendly staff.
Modern & clean!
Was surprisingly clean, modern and quiet considering the price & location. Front desk staff were friendly & very helpful. Thought Service station would be 24/7 but only WHSmith open at night. Be aware that Maps may direct you to the wrong side of M6, although Days Inn is actually on NORTH bound side!
The hotel is nice and clean. This hotel has very friendly staff too.
Reasonably priced stay
Lovely stay, as always, very clean and comfortable room, staff on reception always friendly and helpful. Easy to park, food options next door if you don't fancy going out to eat. Quiet overnight, always a good night's sleep.
Great room
Apart from the issue of check in with the night staff- everything else was great
The property itself was clean, staff were lovely, however the animals that are allowed to stay were messy, and ended up soiling the carpet. The exit back only 1 way up the m6 was long and wasted petrol. There should be an alternative route out for people that are not travelling northbound.
I love this hotel
Such a great service given by the staff here.I called on the day of arrival asking for rooms to be close and to see if there could be three beds in one room for the adult children and my step son to share. They were more than accommodating and swapped our rooms for us. Friendly smiley staff. Would definitely stay here again. Beds and rooms clean and comfy and very quiet too. We found that our sat nav sent us into the back entrance of the services so not sure why we weren’t just sent via the M6???
Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed and powerful shower
Its cheap and cheerful however was disappointed with the comfort of the beds and the noisy room we stayed in. The room was by the motorway however the windows were not very good in that if felt like they were open and as a result we could hear the traffic quite clearly. The fan also inside the bathroom was on continuously and added to the noise.
Nikki (Manager) was lovely, she made us feel very welcome thank you so much
Good start spoilt by O/N noise.
Excellent check-in but noisy overnight: we were warned that the access slip road would be closed 22.00-05.00next day, but had not appreciated what was to be done then and how much we would hear the noise of the work of resurfacing the slip road in that overnight time. Did not help that my window was not a tight fit so let sound through. Pity because the bed etc. OK.
The location of the hotel was very convenient for my visit to Coventry City football stadium. The extra bonus was the free parking. The value for money is excellent for a twin room for three people.
There was a spring through the bottom of the mattress and caught my toe during the night. Staff didnt seem too concerned when told in the morning. We paid for breakfast when booking the hotel but when we checked in we were told no breakfasts available due to some work. I am still waiting one week on for a reimbursement. The lack of breakfast should have be posted on the website to save inconvenience.
Very good for the price.

Staff tried to charge me for services that were not declared on the booking and were incorrect. The pillows and towels were stained. The toilet did not flush properly The curtains let light through causing a disturbed sleep
