The Captain and owner offered a genuine and caring stay

Resat is a wonderful host. He speaks good English, is very knowledgeable and couldn't do more to welcome and accommodate us. The breakfast was amazing, so much fresh, local produce. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Excellent stay attention to detail impeccable. No real restaurants close by but can go back on ferry if you choose. Room was small but perfect for needs and very clean and equipped. Breakfast was enormous there must have been 30 different items to choose from and replenished as needed. Host very attentive and always around to top things up like tea and toast. Being only 3 rooms makes it a very intimate stay and first names used throughout. Overall excellent.

Resat is a welcoming, delightful host! He prepared an amazing Turkish breakfast. The rooms are small but comfortable, with good bed and shower. It is a one-minute walk from the ferry to Canakkale, a five minute walk to the Kilitbahir fortress, and an easy drive to Troy. We would definitely stay here again.

How Hospitality Should Look

This was the first stop on my second trip to Turkey, but my husband's first. I wanted my husband to experience how hospitable the Turkish people are with guests and this stay was more than expected on hospitality. Our host warmly welcomed us (even though we got in late) and offered refreshments. Then he upgraded our room and brought fresh flowers to the room. The next morning he served a wonderful traditional Turkish breakfast. My only complain is that we did not stay longer.

The environment around the hotel and hospitality were extraordinary. I would definitely stay here if I visit Kilitbahir again.

Home away from home

Lovely little guest house. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Parking on the doorstep. Close to battlefields. Tastefully decorated and very clean.

What a great & personal welcome by the property owner. Very attentive to our needs within a friendly & homely atmosphere throughout our overnight stay. Very comfortable bed, clean rooms & excellent breakfast. We would have no hesitation in booking again & recommending to family & friends. Oh yes & our pet dog Bentley also enjoyed the stay 🐶

The owner was very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The property is right by the ferry port which was helpful. Ive never seen a biggeŕ or more varied breakfast offered at any property.

We received a wonderful welcome from the host, who was helpful in every way by offering us delicious Turkish tea on arrival, providing maps and suggesting the best way to reach the various places we wanted to see. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and comfortable. We could not have found a better place to stay.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück bietet nicht einmal ein 5 Sterne Hotel an. Sehr nette Gespräche mit dem Besitzer. Alkes in allem, wir können die Pension weiter empfehlen.

Odaların temizliğinden, büyük bir zevk ve özenle oluşturulmuş dizaynına kadar her şey mükemmeldi. Otelin sahibi olan çok değerli Reşat Bey’in değerli sohbetine vakıf olabilmekte büyük bir şans. Çanakkale ziyaretlerimde vazgeçemeyeceğim bir deneyimdi. Her şey için teşekkür ederim.

Mükemmel bir otel. Reşat bey gerçekten çok misafirperver, yardımsever ve profesyonel biri. Otele aşık olduk evimiz gibi hissettik. Her kese tavsiye ederim bu otelde kalmak için bile çanakkaleye gidilebilir.

Incelikle ve her ayrıntı düşürülerek döşenmiş, tertemiz; Çanakkale Boğazı’nın huzur veren manzarasına karşı evinizdeki gibi rahat edebileceğiniz  butik bir konaklama tesisi. İş, tatil, gezi maksatlarıyla aileyle ve yalnız olarak kalınabilir. Tesis feribot iskelesine sadece 15-20 adım. Odalar gayet rahat, kahvaltı ise başka tesislerde benzeri görülmeyecek kadar zengin. İşletme sahibi Reşat Bey eşine zor rastlanan misafirperverliği ve nezaketi nedeniyle en güzel takdirleri hak ediyor. Kendisine ilgisi için çok teşekkür ediyorum. Bölgeye tekrar geldiğimde yeniden kalmayı ümit ediyorum.
