The staff is super nice and honest especially Nora on the front desk manager she made sure that I got back jewelry that I left in the room. The location is excellent to go out for dinning and shopping. And the beach is across the street . The breakfast is excellent . Thank you team dar El marsa .

Lovely staff and beautiful hotel

Nice location hotel

The hotel at good location, opposite the corniche. Restaurants and cafes at walking distance. Breakfast standard in quality and quantity. Staff were polite. The service was behind. Requested room service didn't arrive.

A pleasant stay

A comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A good location right on the front close to many restaurants and the beach. We had a sea view room which meant we were at the front of the hotel on a busy road which could be a bit noisy and the bathroom was small and not well designed with a large sink taking up too much room and the shower was over the bath which was so high it had a step to get in, not good if you're a little immobile. A very nice roof top bar and restaurant.

I booked a sea view room and when I arrived I was not given a sea view room. I was not reimbursed for the downgraded room or inconvenience. Beautiful rooftop and nice people. However, I was disrespected because my room that I paod for was given away. Hotels.com did NOTHING!! Can’t get in touch with anyone from hotels.com.

The Dar El Marsa has to be one of the premier hotels in La Marsa in an unrivalled location on Marsa Plage, the beach promenade. I loved spending time on the balcony of my beach-facing room, and thoroughly recommend the extra cost. The hotel is modern and very stylish. The rooms are wonderful and have an understated resort feel to them. Breakfast will suit every palette. I will definitely go back.

This hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful and the service was 5*. Clean property with great facilities. The spa was great value for money, clean and the hamam and massage was 5*. Would recommend this property and will stay here again.

loved the place and the location

The location is great, but the hotel is overpriced because of it. Breakfast was nothing special and low level service. The hotel restaurant is not family friendly. Nothing is "wrong" with the hotel, but I've stayed in much nicer places for less.

Great Hotel

Although there were some hiccups, the management of the hotel was provided some feedback and they worked at solving the issues quickly. I will go back to this hotel because it offers the quality amenities that I love.

Terrible Breakfast Experience

Breakfast was terrible. hardly any food and whet there was was old and unhygienic. many flies in the breakfast area. I'd rate the breakfast experience 2/10. Hotel was generally OK but let down by the breakfast. No where near 5*. Hotel 4*. Breakfast 1*

Excellent hotel, clean very friendly staff

Our stay was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was outstanding and happy to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The meals were amazing and the banana split is recommended.

The location.

Ritz Carlton style. Very elegant. Clean. Convenient. Beyond impressed. No comparison to other hotel (high stars) in bou said. Absolutely no comparison.

Stay by the Mediterranean sea!

The location was great. We could walk to a lot of great restaurants, cafes, and the beach. Staff was really friendly but not many people speak English well.

In general, it is a good hotel.

This is a unique property, it is very well established but at the same time, it is located in the very heart of El Marsa. You will find yourself dealing and mingled with normal local people, not just tourists from everywhere like other hotels. It is also directly on the Mediterranean, what a lovely view and spot!!!. The hotel is relatively a small one, it is not like a compound as the other 5 stars hotels in the area, however it you want to feel the charm of the east, this the place to go.

A stay by the Sea

Take a break from the usual and enjoy what an independent Hotel offers. Most rooms include a terrace & A view of the Sea. Nice!

Friendly helpful staff. Constantly checking we are satisfied and had everything we needed. Good location near beach and shops. Marsa is a nice town with a wide range of shops ands eateries. Breakfast needs more variety, it got a bit boring after a week. Gymn was basic but functional. Pool was very nice with great views.

Great first stay in Tunis!

The hotel offers the best location by the sea while you still have the amenities of city centre! Besides the excellent facilities in house, a short walk (no more than 5') you can find a shopping mall, a small selection of quality artisanal galleries, local shisha cafes, loads of small stores, a great seafront corniche to walk on sunset and the metro station of TGM which takes you to downtown Tunis.

Great Hotel

This is the Best Boutique Hotel in Tunis. Located in the Heart of La Marsa. Nearby tons of Restaurants, Bars and the beach. The rooftop restaurant has some of the best views and great place to relax by the pool.

Fantastic Hotel in La Marsa

I have stayed here a few time now. It is a beautiful boutique hotel located in La Marsa just a few steps from the beach, It has lots of restaurants and Bars in the area. I will stay here every time I come back to Tunis. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dar El Marsa. Overall I like the hotel, the location is good - lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The room is comfortable. This time I had trouble with the electronic keypad which was not working. It took about 45 min to fix and then it was not fixed so they gave me a master key to use until it could be fixed the next day. I thought that I would be offered some compensation or gift - however nothing came until 2 days later when a 1/2 bottle of wine was left in my room. It seems a bit late to take 2 days to give something and I am positive that this happened because my business partner that I was meeting knows the owner of the hotel and called them. This was disappointing and should have been handled better. I also want to point out that the WIFI in the room only works with the TV on - which is a bit odd.

Outstanding 1 Night Stay

I actual live in La Marsa and decided to stay here for the night to surprise my gf before she left the country. The hotel is great as I have been many times for drinks and dinner. However, the interior of the hotel is amazing. Spacious room, outstanding food, great service, wonderful spa, and just all around how 5 star service should be. If you have travelled to Tunisia, you will understand that sometimes the service can be lacking. This wasn't the case here at all and I will surely be back.

Excel Hotel in Tunis with good construction finish

I was surprised when I saw our room. It was modern, bathroom was really nice and surprisingly everything was finished properly and was working. Hotel has very nice restaurant and pool are on top floor, with nice view. Not sure if you can use pool as it is middle of restaurant. Anyway beach is 200m from hotel. We had nice see view from balcony and hotel was very close to beach and shopping area. Breakfast was a small disappointment, variety was small and not lot to eat if you prefer healthier options. We order omelet and had yoghurt and smoothie to start our day.

I recommend this hotel. Very nice, but if you like food you better get up early as you may remain hungry :-)

We came to the hotel in the mid of summer for a 3-night stay. The hotel is located in the heart of the ElMarsa northern suburb of Tunis. It is very close to the beach though we did not go there. At walking distance, there are a small shopping mall, a grocery store, restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was very professional, welcoming, and responsive to our needs and questions. The room was clean, of reasonable size, nicely decorated, with great new amenities, and had a sea view. Though it is located on a busy street, we did not hear any noise from our 2nd floor room. On the other side, while waiting for our room for check-in, we experienced an unacceptable service at the rooftop restaurant. There are plenty of cheaper and better options around the hotel. Overall it is a great hotel and we love to return back.

Beautiful Hotel with excellent amenities. The hotel is close to the beach. There is a nearby pharmacy and a supermarket. Hotel staff was very helpful in arranging the taxis and the tours.

Ser fint ut i alla fall

Trevligt bemötande till en början. Inte 5* men kanske 4* hotell. Stranden mittemot på andra sidan vägen och ner för en trappa och en liten väg. I övrigt trist område med mycket skräp överallt. Stort rum med jättestor dubbelsäng, stor balkong med lite havsutsikt. Annorlunda badrum med stort badkar. Slitet rum, slitna sängkläder, inte helt rent, inte heller sängkläderna. Fri minibar med vatten och läsk (fylldes dock ej på). Även fritt kaffe och te. Härlig pool på takterrassen men dessvärre inga solstolar intill utan endast bord och stolar. Livemusik på takterrassen första kvällen som vi inte fick veta innan. Musiken hördes ner till oss på våning 1. Frukosten var ok med olika saker att välja på. Andra morgonen fick vi frågan om vi ville ha omelett. Vi betalde vi incheckningen men vi utcheckningen ville hotellet ha betalt ytterligare för skatt för andra natten. När vi betalade vi incheckningen var summan redan då högre än den vi hade fått bekräftelse på och nu blev den alltså ännu högre. Jag påpekade detta men enligt receptionisterna gick det inte att lägga på andra nattens skatt i deras system direkt. Ingen av de meddelade oss detta vi incheckningen, det missade de...vilket är konstigt om man är medveten om det så borde det vara en sak att säga direkt. Fick ingen ursäkt direkt för detta. Vi tror att vi blev lurade men vi hade inget att sätta emot. Personalens beteende vid utcheckningen drog ner betyget ytterligare. Var definitivt varken 4* eller 5* service.

Modernes Hotel, göttliche Dachterrasse mit Pool

Der Empfang war herzlich und der Check in war schnell gemacht. Die Dachterrasse mit seien Pool ist eine Oase und biete viele Ruhe am Tag. Abends ist es herrlich den Sonnenuntergang hier zu genießen. Das Hotel liegt zentral nur wenige Minuten zum Strand und entlang der Strandpromenade gibt es viele Restaurant und Bars. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und vor allem sauber. Sehr gerne wieder.

Notre séjour a été très agréable, nous avons apprécié le cadre, nous avons pu nous reposer en famille. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres et demandé si nous pouvions être à côté, notre demande a été prise en compte. Les chambres sont très agréables (petit bémol sur le bruit dun ascenseur). Mais SURTOUT la qualité de l'accueil du personnel: Bravo, aussi bien les receptionnistes, le personnel du restaurant, les esthéticiennes, les femmes de chambre, sans exception ont été vraiment à nos petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très diversifié, et là encore, un personnel de service et de cuisine vraiment gentil, attentionné, très professionnel. Merci encore car vous avez tous contribué à rendre notre séjour agréable et inoubliable. Meilleurs vœux et bonne année 2024 à tout le personnel de l'hôtel Del el Marsa!

Face mer dans cadre d un voyage d affaires

Cet hôtel n est pas du tout un 5 étoiles mais plutôt un 4 étoiles. De nombreux détails viennent plomber ma note comme le petit déjeuner qui est d une pauvreté hallucinante et du niveau d un 3 étoiles. J ai trouvé les céréales moisies et ai prévenu le responsable qui a changé celles-ci ! L ananas n était pas frais mais en provenance de conserve ! En ce qui concerne la chambre, la poubelle des toilettes étaient défoncée et rouillée ! La chambre a besoin de rénovation c est évident . La femme de ménage fait parfaitement son travail et le personnel est malgré cela aux petits soins pour ses clients. Le rooftop et son restaurant offre une vue splendide sur la piscine et la Méditerranée. Cet hôtel est parfait pour un voyage d affaire car à côté de nombreux restaurants et d un centre commercial! Vais je revenir ? Oui car pour être parfait il faut prendre toutes les remarques comme points d améliorations

Aucun surclassement de chambre n’a été proposé malgré notre statut Gold chez Expédia. Petit déjeuner très limité Énormément de bruit la nuit (aboiements de chiens en particulier, bruits de vaisselle…) Personnel très bien

Ce qui est remarquable, c'est la gentillesse du personnel. Un excellent service, les gens toujours prêts. Propreté impeccable. Lors de notre séjour, le wi-fi était vraiment faible dans notre chambre, décevant, Seul bémol.....le petit déjeuner....très très peu de choix et toujours la même chose, aucune variété.
