The room was okay, nothing special. We had a triple but it does not fit three people well. Plus the third bed was so flimsy, we ended up just putting the mattress on the floor. The area is very busy and noisy. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It was in a convenient area. The bed was very comfortable. However, the shower drained slowly so could only do a 5 min max shower. It was dirty…found an old pair of sandels under the bed. It was also hot, could not figure out the thermostat.

Great location, only 2 min walk from S.M.Novella train station. 4 min walk to Mercado Centrale and 10 min ealk to Sta. Maria del Fiore.

I cannot fault anything. Enjoyed my stay. We were in the spacious family room with a double bed, separate lounge area, kitchenette and a nice spacious bathroom. Host was very lovely and explained everything well. Location is great as it’s about 5 minutes walk from Santa novella Firenze station and also in good walking distances to restaurants and shops. Duomo is about 20 minutes walk away, uffizi gallery 15 minutes by bus and lots of other tourist places in close distance by walking or bus. Several bus stops in close walking distance the main one we used was right next door less than 1 minute walk. We received complimentary water, tea and snacks on arrival in the room, which was nice but only downside was the lack of cutlery, we only had spoons for the teacups, but apart from that I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

We booked closed to the train station and it was the best idea. Everything is walkable distance, the hotel nice and clean, the bathroom was a little dark but besides that all good. Thanks for everything!

Nadia was great, helped with our after-hrs checkin

The coordinator, Nadia, was excellent. My family came in on the train at 9PM late in the evening. The front desk closed at 6pm, so we needed to get key card/code access to the room after hours for our first night. Nadia worked with me using email over the week before our arrival. She was patient and consisted with the needed documentation. She provided excellent check-in instructions. All went well at the late evening check-in which is great when a family has travelled all day and really needed an easy check-in process for our late arrival.

This is too close to the train station making a lot of unruly crowd around the building. The reception was also in another building close by.

Not recommended! This hotel (apartment) is located in an extremely busy, dangerous, noisy intersection, I couldn’t sleep a single night, cars, motorcycles, buses, trucks and the crowd of people nonstop. Just when you think the traffic finally slowed down after 2am, the cleaning trucks starts to brush all the the street for several hours during the night, then you have trucks coming to bring the shipment to replenish the stores around. It was a horrible experience. You have to check-in on another building because they don’t have a front desk, then walk to other building to your room.

The room request was messed up. We requested 2 twin rooms but got a king bed with sofa bed. The property is located in different place than check in location. It is a bit inconvenient.

Found bed bugs as we're about to go to sleep on the first night (19Jun'23). Next morning notified Hotel Berna who manages the check in and took payment on behalf of Daphne Guest House, and showed them the captured bed bugs. Hotel Berna contacted owner of Hotel Daphne and initially told they will refund me (booked 3 nights at 470 Euros per night and only stayed for one night). Had to stay with relatives in Prato as we didn't have the spare funds to find another hotel in Florence. Notified Expedia on same morning but they couldn't help much because payment was taken by hotel, not by Expedia. To date (06Jul'23), Daphne Guest House team have still not responded to the refund queries and Hotel Berna have advised it's not their hotel so it's not their issue to help.

Staff was accommodating to letting us drop our bags off early in our room. Location is super close to train station which made it ideal for us.

Check in was confusing as was the actual hotel address but we figured it out eventually. It did mention it in the confirmation email but that's not something I check frequently on vacation so I guess that's on me. You have to check in at a different hotel nearby. I don't believe there is any staff on site so if you have an issue, good luck.

Old world Italy with modern touches. The room was super clean and comfortable. Ms. Nadia at the front desk is a gem! She was warm and friendly and a huge help!

My husband and I had a good stay here. Everything was close to all the tourists locations. Plus, the train was literally less than 5 minutes walk. Service was awesome.

We loved this room and its location to the train station - it was literally 3 minutes walk. The room was clean and large, it had air conditioning and a great view of the city. There was some miscommunication about the check in place but it was sorted out quickly and staff was extremely friendly. The only problem we had was the drainage of the shower, which was slow so taking showers took longer than usual. The hotel was very conveniently located just a short walk to the Duomo and the Central Market which was a lot of fun as well. There were also lots of stores and cafes nearby so eating was not a problem. We loved Florence.

The location is great, close to the train station and 5-10 min walk to most of the sights. Very clean and safe.

There were no sheets or blankets on one of the beds, and we were unable to reach anyone to obtain. Not a pleasant stay.

The property is very new and modern and clean with flatscreen TVs, spacious shower with rain shower. The only drawback is the lift which is very small and ancient. Nadia was very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the main train station, Firenze S.M.Novella. As Florence isn’t a big city, I walked to all the major attractions. The market is a 10 mins walk away.

Pros; Nice, centrally located. Clean bathrooms Cons: Sofa bed smells of urine, giving a mal odour to the place esp near the radiator. Quite noisy as centrally located, Burglar alarm went off in the opp store at 3 AM possible false alarm

This hotel offers very adequate accommodation for an overnight stay or two. It was difficult to find when driving. There is no parking nearby so they do offer a spot in a secure parking space. It is only a short walk to the Duome and restaurants and markets. If you are coming into the train station it is a very good location. It is not a hotel as such as there is no reception or dining area. It had only been opened a short time so everything was fresh and new.

Central, but not great

The apartment was centrally located, both in relation to the city's snow area and the train station. It only took 5 minutes to walk from the station. Check-in went well. Nice lady who gave a lot of information. The bathroom in the apartment was nice and clean, but had dim lighting. We were a family of four where the children are in their teens. There was a double bed in one room and a sofa bed in the kitchen/living room. When the sofa was converted into a bed, it was so cramped that the kitchen and kitchen table could not be used. This room appeared less pleasant. If you are a light sleeper and are woken by noises, do not choose this apartment. Garbage trucks or similar wake us up early every morning.As if this was not enough, several of us were stung by insects while we were sleeping. I cannot recommend this accommodation.

Allora : check in da fare in un un'altra struttura al 3 piano ! e non più tardi delle 18. L'appartamento( chiave n 1 ) aveva il portone d ingresso che non accostava bene ed entrava la luce, del corridoio esterno ,proprio sul divano letto . Stesso discorso per il finestrone ...! Abbiamo trovato le lenzuole del divano letto ed un asciugamano sporche di macchie giallicce..! Non c'era ne una tovaglia ne tovaglioli o scottex.. però la cosa più tremenda è stato il fatto che non si è chiuso occhio...24 ore su 24 ogni tipo di rumore si sente ..dopo una giornata intera a camminare e poi non riuscire a dormire per niente...che soggiorno posso raccontare ?!

Emplacement idéal près de la gare de train. Personnel très aidant et courtois. Chambre très jolie et propre. Devoir se rendre dans un autre building pour faire le check in et non à l’emplacement même de l’hébergement est un peu incommodant. Le drain de douche était bouché et la porte de la douche défectueuse, mais le personnel a vite remédié à la situation pour le drain lorsque nous les avons informés. On peut facilement entendre les autres invités dans le couloir lorsqu’ils arrivent ou quittent.
