Hotel Damaso is a beautiful boutique property. The rooms a modern and beautifully decorated. Francesca, at the front desk, made our visit especially enjoyable. In addition, the included breakfast was excellent; with a wide range of fruit, pastries, eggs and meats. All in all, we would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a lot of character. Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and in a great area. Within walking distance of several sites, including the Pantheon, Vatican, and Colosseum.

Very nice and helpful staff. A lot of dining options very close to the hotel. Can walk to all the major tourist spots from this location. Very convenient. Recommend taxi to hotel as it is too far to walk from train station. Only quibble is the shower was very small. Overall bathroom was large and clean.

The location was very convient. Close to restaurant's, 15 miniutes walking distance to the Panthonn, and the Vatican.

Great location, lovely staff

Probably the best location in the city. It was so easy to walk to the sights and great food. I highly recommend the penthouse suite with the terrace. That was a game changer.

I loved how our room had a balcony to enjoy the sun rise and sun set. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. It does loud with all the sirens from the ambulances driving by every 10 mins but if at night you wear ear plugs it’s fine! I slept great. The hotel is at a very convenient location with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Breakfast buffet was good and everyone was very nice!

Location is phenomenal, able to walk to all major sites in Rome and Vatican. Staff was friendly and welcoming, offering good advice and recommendations.

To many a second home

Just 2 minutes from Campo di Fiori and 5 from Piazza Navono. We walked to all the sights we had planned to visit. The hotel is so cosy, the staff so friendly and lots of nearby restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommandable!

Fab hotel and location

Great from the word go. Friendly greeting at reception and room was ready. Comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Most reasonable prices for a drink from the fridge! Great location for seeing a lot of the sights.

We had an amazing stay at the Damaso Hotel. Hotel is a cute quaint and clean hotel. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Safe and convenient to all locations if you love walking. Pretty much all of the main landmarks were within 20 minutes. You have great restaurants close by. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious.

Walkable to all the attractions.

This is a 3 star property that really could become a 4 star with some changes. It's in a great location and we walked everywhere. The problem with the room is that storage is severely lacking. The room was an adequate size and there is plenty of room to add storage in the bathroom and the room but they failed to do that. Why? is beyond me because the room has plenty of areas to either have shelves or cabinents.

The Hotel Damaso was wonderful. The premises was immaculate and so welcoming. The staff could not have been nicer. There are so many dining options within a few minutes and most historic sites are an easy walk away. Around the corner is the Campo di fiore, which is a wonderful marketplace during the day and has many dining options.

Front desk staff were very helpful to us. We arrived early and were able to go to a lounge and rest until our rooms were ready.

Great central location. The staff was terrific. Very helpful and professional. Specifically, Christina was amazing. I left my phone in a cab and she found a way to get it back and send it to my next destination. Really amazing service! I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel far exceeded our expectations! The room was huge and gorgeous, with excellent air conditioning which was critical during the extreme heat we experienced whilst in Rome. The decor is swanky & trendy but not formal or stuffy. The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to all the best sites and neighbourhoods in Rome. The breakfast was excellent (first time I’ve ever decided to eat a hotel breakfast because what could be better than eating in a European cafe??), however this breakfast was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely hotel in great area

We stayed here for two nights during the heat wave of August 2024. It was cool and welcoming with a big room, great bed, and enormous, well appointed bathroom. The AC was excellent. Too hot to drink on the roof terrace (95 plus degrees) but the bar inside is nice. Steps from Fiori do Campo and Piazza Navona. Would love to come back. Thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff.

Wonderful place to stay in Rome.

We loved our stay at Damaso Hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect - in the absolute city center but a quiet corner. The rooftop terrace was wonderful for sunset, sunrise and night view of the city. The room is clean and comfort. We will plan to stay at Damaso for our future trips to Rome and will recommend it to our friends.

Amazing hotel! It was our first time in Italy and they were very helpful, from an airport shuttle to answering any questions we had! I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Italy for sure

Excellent hotel!

The quality of the hotel was amazing. It is literally right between the main road and the piazza de Campo de Fiori. Beautiful, spacious rooms - I had the double superior and it had a balcony. The rooftop is also lovely but it was too hot to be out there. The staff was very helpful. This place is honestly worth more than the price I paid. It’s quite upper class.

I recently stayed at Hotel Damaso and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and charming. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, always ready to assist with any requests or provide recommendations. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is centrally located to many of Rome’s famous landmarks. This made sightseeing convenient and enjoyable. Additionally, the room was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Damosa to anyone visiting Rome. The combination of its charming ambiance, helpful staff, prime location, and cleanliness made my stay truly memorable.

We loved this small hotel conveniently located near Campo do Fiori and other historical areas in central Rome. The room was bright and inviting though not very large. The hotel had a lovely rooftop bar and an amazing breakfast in their dining room. We recommend and we’d definitely return.

Delightful. Room 701 is a.stunning place.to stay. Better if more was a available on site between 10am and 4pm. The bar downstairs is lovely but only seemed.ooen for breakfast.

Mother daughter trip. Best service, best location. Breakfast was outstanding and they set up last minute tickets and transportation when we needed it. Loved loved loved everything about the Damaso and its employees!!! Would 100% recommend.

Spectacular hotel with everything you could ask for - beautiful room and bathroom, wonderful staff, a delicious breakfast each morning, and a great rooftop terrace bar with a fantastic bartender! East walk to all the main attractions. Innumerable restaurants and bars nearby. It is considered a 3 star hotel, I assume, because other than breakfast there is no meal service but the experience was 5 star!

The hotel is centrally located for easy access to all of the major tourist spots. It was nice to visit an area and come back to the hotel as an escape from the crowds. Francesca, who was at the front desk, is a one woman show! She helped us with directions, suggestions and arranging transportation. She's a delight and very patient! All of the staff at the hotel was very helpful and the breakfast is wonderful! The hotel was perfect in the transition from cruise life back to land!

Very nice boutique hotel by the Campo de Fiori. A short walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Helpful staff. Avoid the tourist trap restaurants in the Campo Piazza. Better to find a small family place on the other side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Staff - polite, personable, and attentive Hotel - clean, well appointed, spacious, updated yet retained the rustic appeal. Breakfast - simple yet perfect. Fruit, cereal, bread, cheese, milk, and eggs BUT do not forget the amazing coffee. Location - near to everything, centrally located but not so close to anything special that would come with increased prices. When we arrived, I noticed our showerhead was broken (it was cracked). Still functional but with incredibly low pressure. We did not say anything fearing drama - would they want to repair it when not convenient for us or change our room. Housekeeping came to straighten our room once when we were gone. They must have noticed this and fixed it. This shows the staff was attentive, aware, and addressed the problem WITHOUT me having to say anything. This proved to me this hotel cared if we enjoyed our stay and did whatever they could to ensure we did.

Very close to shopping, dining and historic sites. 20 minute walk to Vatican. Perfect rooftop patio even in December to enjoy some wine.

Beyond Expectations

I chose hotel Damaso for the location. Little did I know the hotel was just as beautiful as the city! The front desk were always very welcoming and friendly. I also fell in love with my room! Very spacious and clean, alond with a comfy bed. As my first time travelling solo, I felt safe and relaxed. Will definitely be staying again in the future. Grazie mille!

Excellent Stay

Great stay at a central location. Hotel is in a historic building but the rooms and overall facility are very new and in excellent condition. Staff was also excellent and very helpful arranging both a shuttle to the airport and a crib for our child. Very walkable location just minutes from Piazza Navona.

Fabulous boutique hotel across the street from Piazza Navona. Well appointed room, delicious breakfast, rooftop terrace, within walking distance to all main sites, and staff is friendly and accommodating- especially Francesca!

We stayed 3 nights at the end of our 2 week trip. Francesca at the front desk was wonderful!! She made sure we had everything we needed, called a taxi when needed, called out tour vendor when we were running late and checked in on us each time we walked in the door. our room was modern, comfortable and the AC worked great. The rooftop bar is perfect for a cocktail after a long day of walking or a nightcap. Service is instant and the drinks are delicious. The location is excellent. Several Piazzas in walking short distance for dining and shopping. And just around the corner is Gelato for a nice treat. We found that a taxi stand is key to getting a cab and there is one right across the street. But also it’s convenient to walk with most places within 30 minutes like the coliseum, circe maximo, and piazza Navarro. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and had everything you could want including unlimited cappuccino… LOL. The service was excellent. We had a great experience and everything was perfect. It’s definitely a 4 star not a 3 star hotel.

Very good hotel in a great location. Walkable to many of Rome's best sights, including Navona Square (has a Bernini statue), the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Hadrian's tomb, the Forum, etc. Very well located. It was more quiet than the other place I stayed in Rome, but it is centrally located and in Rome (ie. don't expect tomb quiet). The staff is excellent. I really liked them. Good breakfast. Overall, a great hotel in Rome.

We stayed 3 nights in the Penthouse, it was absolutely beyond amazing. The view from the connecting terrace overlooks the Pantheon and churches. We will be back!

Convenient location and walkable to so many areas of Rome. We enjoyed our stay at Damaso and would go there again. Breakfast was very good each day and the rooms were good, although small. Staff were able to assist with taxi service and provided anything that was needed. the rooftop terrace and bar offered great views of the city, especially in the evening. Overall a great stay and would stay there again.

Location very convenient ,friendly staff, clean !

The Damaso was in an excellent location in Rome! There were 2 small piazzas within 2 minute walks with many choices of cafes and restaurants. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a modern, European style. The rooftop bar was an added bonus. The barman made the best martini I had in Italy! We stayed here for 3 nights with friends and we all loved the Damaso.

Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Rome. Walking distance to the Vatican, Trevi fountain, and Pantheon. Lots of amazing dining options around. The breakfast that is offered is amazing. The rooms are clean and quiet.

Wedding Anniversary Celebration

This trip was a 32nd Wedding Anniversary celebration trip for me and my wife that we planned in 2022. I have nothing but excellent and rave reviews for Hotel Damaso. The location is fantastic and central to all of the famous sites in Rome. The front desk staff, consisting of Francesca, Vito and Paolo, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and very accommodating. The morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to make your trip to Italy a memorable one.

Fantastic stay

We stayed 3 nights at hotel damaso and I didn’t want to leave! We stayed in the junior suite room and it was very spacious with a large terrace. All of the staff were great - during our couple days in Rome we ate at all places that francesca recommended to us and they did not disappoint! The upstairs bar is great for a quick drink, and the hotel breakfast is also convenient as well. We walked to the Vatican, colloseum, travestere, etc. the location could not of been better. I’m already thinking about my next stay! We also used the driver booked through the hotel for our return to the airport and everything was very smooth.

Great Stay at the Hotel!

What a great hotel in a perfect location. We were two in a suite and it was perfect. Francesca and Paulo at reception were great. Damaso is perfectly located, close to restaurants, Piazza's, historical sites. We loved it!! Thanks for a great 3 days in Rome.
