Great stay

Great hotel, loved the peace being just outside the main attractions. The shuttle bus was good and the local bus stop just outside the hotel was very useful once we found our way around. Loved the spa and had a fantastic treatment, thank you Julia! Breakfast very good, lots of choice and fresh. The room and bathroom were large and functional. Huge bed! It was nice having a balcony.

I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Rome – St. Peter’s Hotel & Spa by IHG. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to hold our luggage, which made exploring the city hassle-free. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, with a nice lobby and convenient elevators. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a comfortable and smooth experience. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Rome and looking for quality and convenience.

The big problem I had was there was no Wi-Fi. I was there about four days says unsecured network plus I leave the property to receive messages

We liked that the rooms were large and had 2 double beds instead of single beds. The hair dryer was even in the bathroom. They provide shuttle service to/from airport, Vatican, Coliseum, Trastevere for a reasonable price. We used taxi service for other areas. Had nice bar and restaurant and great breakfast buffet. Best of all, they had a nice area for smoking which we appreciated greatly. They have a beautiful spa area but the one downfall for me was the low temperature on the jacuzzi. 30c they said but it felt like pool water to me. I only used once in the 5 days we were there. The steam room was awesome and just right temp. I highly recommend this property.

No microwave in the room which is important.

I am not going to stay there again for some little reasons that made our stay uncomfortable together. First, rooms are old, the pies were clogged and service needed to come and work on it. Second the house keeping was not good, they keep forgetting to replace the sheets they taken, they didn’t refill the soap for 2 consecutive days, and room molding had a sharp pin that torn our clothes. The breakfast was good, also liked the free and easy access parking.

Clean and friendly staff. Very nice

We stayed here a few day before meeting out four. Everyone was so nice and they were able to get us an early checkin. We used their shuttle to down town Rome and their food was great!

No AC and room can get pretty hot at night.

The property is fine. Narrow sidewalks by the property, so keep that in mind if you are walking. Bar excellent. Restaurants pricey. An alternative is close by and it is (normally) quite good.

ITS AN OLER CROWNE PLAZA BUT IT WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND CLEAN.

Loved the Turkish bath. Perfect for soothing tired muscles after a long day of sightseeing.

The rooms were terrible cracks in the walls and beds were like sleeping on cement. The restaurants were great but the rooms need a major update.

I didn't like the front desk staff, except for one woman who did help us with finding out what time our Driver from Expedia was picking us up to take us to the Airport. Expedia did not provide us with that information! We also asked for an early check in which THE HOTEL STAFF denied us after not sleeping for 24 hrs. prior to check in, but I did see others checking in early as we sat for 5 1/2 hours!! WE were exhausted!!! Also, the staff in the Restaurant where we ate dinner. The staff took our breadbasket as we were still eating the bread, I had just taken a piece of bread and was eating it and a woman without warning just came by and took it from our table, she never said a word! We asked for the check every night after eating, I put some of the money in the check book, and without warning a man comes and takes it, never asked me anything. I had not put the full amount of tip yet. It wasn't 5 seconds after I had put part of the money, and he was taking it with not the total tip. The Jacuzzi in the Spa was not hot, warm at best. A Company selling Tours inside of the Property sold us a Tour for the Coliseum and then Cancelled it the morning of and would not refund our money! I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN TO Crown Plaza ever again!! The Vacation from hell! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Didn’t like temperament of some of the staff

Nice location, walk to the metro, or bus it. Easy access to all sights. Vatican is 4 metro stops away. I recommend Arturo restaurant just outside, EUR 100 can feed a family of 4 comfortably.

While the hotel is a little tired the facilities were very good with friendly staff.

I liked its location. Very close to the Vatican and ruins. Also very good restaurant with very good food

We ordered from A La Carte menu : disappointed with breakfast raw eggs over cold bread Coffee cold had to send back French toast no fruit Vegetable omelette only had spinach and undercooked inside no bread till we asked no jam no butter.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peters. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The Shuttle service was a life saver!! It took so much stress off me re: how to get around. I would definitely stay there again and hopefully can get back to Rome sooner than later!

The hotel stay was amazing. We enjoyed the service and the spa that is for adults only. The room was clean and the shower was a walk in. The bed was comfortable and the room was the most spacious throughout our stay. The only downside we can think of was having to rely on getting a car to take us anywhere we wanted to go.

We liked that the hotel was off the beaten path and the air conditioning for the room was extra comfortable. The hotel staff were also very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza. Staff were both helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel for visits to Rome.

The breakfast was incredible, our room was huge, shower was huge, and the staff was very pleasant to work with. Elevators were fast.

Our room was hot and they could not improve it so they sent up a fan after the maintenance department could not fix it. I would like a partial refund for this stay.

I have mixed feelings about the hotel. The pool is large, but not heated. Great for laps, but not to enjoy being in the water, even in summer. After a brief thunderstorm, they closed it for the day although the sky had cleared. As a result, there was 10-15 clients back into the pool without life guard supervision. Showers were not working in the pool area, and you cannot use it anymore after check out, which I think is disappointing when you have a late outbound flight. The AC in our room was malfunctioning, making it very difficult to stay in the room and sleep. They changed our room after two nights and, after we asked, offered us free breakfast on that day. On the other hand, the restaurant is very good and the pricing is reasonable. The location is quite isolated, but it’s quiet and bus run frequently towards/from city center. Overall, the amenities are fine but their management is a bit disappointing. Staff was very nice overall.

Hotel is tired. Staff are sometimes a bit rigid at front desk. Pool is very cold and pool bathrooms are filthy. Pool needs work too.

Our room smelled of cigarettes despite having asked for a non-smoking room.

The property reminded me of an all inclusive resort without the amenities and food being included. Nice set up with many places to sit and relax around the property like the lobby restaurant sitting area and outdoor bar and pool area. Wellness centre was great. Carpet in lobby seems shabby and rooms could use updating and feel more upscale and appealing for the price. Restaurant and breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient. Front desk staff were cold and unfriendly. Upon our morning arrival there were only 2 front desk staff greeting a huge lineup of guests from the airport and they did not call anyone else to help out which resulted in a long wait. Whenever you approach the front desk with a question they are not ready to greet you and have their heads down. At one point I had to approach the gentleman at the front desk and yell out ciao to get him to serve me. No smiles on their faces. No thanks for your business or asking how our stay was. It would be helpful if they had literature im the room with information about how to get to places around the city and how to use the different methods of transportation. We figured out how the bus system worked from speaking to other tourists at the bus stop. Shuttle and taxi service from the hotel was fast and efficient which was great. If you’re looking to be situated near and within walking distance of the sights anytime of the day this is not the hotel for you.

The facility and accommodations were excellent. Staff was professional, friendly and efficient. The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional. The menu at the in-house restaurant was quite large and the specials were outstanding.

The room was great. We really enjoyed the pool and the spa facilities.

Pool was beautiful and the staff was very nice. Only problem we had was I called 3 days before to set up a shuttle to pick us up from the pier and the man I spoke with took all my information (my email info 3 times), gave me all the information and said he would send me a confirmation, which he never did so the shuttle never picked us up. I called the hotel and they said they did not have a reservation to be picked up. We had to take a cab which was almost double the cost. Not to mention, waited an extra hour in the heat. Also, no sidewalks anywhere to walk around from the hotel.

Great for families.

Nice room, very clean, and beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed the amazing breakfast with wide variety of items. Unfortunately, we did not have the luxury of time to enjoy the outdoor pool and patio party taking place in the evening during our stay however it did look nice for a swim giving the hot summer days in Rome. Overall, extremely satisfied!!!

It was in a very pleasant location near a bus stop. The restaurant was very good. The personnel at the hotel were friendly, attentive, and very helpful.

Transportation around the area was great and reasonable. The hotel was great. Very clean. Definitely 5 star.

We had wonderful help from the front desk. It was our first trip to Italy and needed assistance and suggestions and everyone especially the gentleman that checked us in was amazing💗. The bartenders were also great!! Definitely a recommendation anyone staying in Rome!!

They have everything you need for a comfortable visit. The service was excellent, food was wonderful and bartender makes good drinks

Great place to stay with many advantages including shuttle service to a variety of locations around town. Wonderful staff everywhere, ready to help all the time. Extensive breakfast but the “hot “ dishes were barely warm!

Nice hotel in Rome

This hotel was wonderful. Large room with large balcony; very clean. Bar & restaurant staff very attentive. This was where we ended a month visit to Rome before heading back to the U.S. The only complaint is the shuttle would not pick us up @ airport as we arrived by train and did not have a flight number. They were coming anyway so I could not understand it.

The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect english.

Enjoyable stay at the Crowne Plaza Rome

My wife and I enjoyed our 3 day stay. The front desk staff spoke English and were very friendly and knowledgeable. We used their shuttle service from the airport and both to and from the Vatican and Trastevere. We did not go to the outdoor pool, but went to the indoor spa every day. We used the sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool. The pool was good sized and warm. Staff at the spa were also very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great. Our room was nice and the mattress was very comfortable. AC had a remote and worked well. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very dirty room, carpet in the room is so old and dirty. The bad is filthy, the room smells so bad , overall the hotel is not what I expected from crown plaza, very very disappointed, I’ll not even give 1 star's to this hotel , never again, ,

Room was not ready for us and we waited an hour past check in. No robes, tea and coffee facilities for 2 only ( in a room for 3). The room furniture and decor showed its age somewhat although the rest of the hotel less so. The breakfast is reasonable, but the better deal is the continental as the cooked breakfast was unappealing and at busy times staff seemed run off their feet. The location is not at all convenient for exploration on foot-even for the fit, the walk into the centre requires navigating busy even dangerous roads sometimes without footpaths. The grounds are very pleasant and spa was reported as good. There is no pedestrian way to the main road- the car- and taxi- is king!

Hotel stay

Amazing place to stay at. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, i enjiy talking to them. Shop is anazing abd they gave bus services to places you need to visit. What can i tell you about the amazing food the restaurant service, i didnt want to go any where else to eat. If the lord blesses me again i would definitely stay there again.

The public facilities ok but rooms OLD. Coulnt re-charge our phones need converter to charge felt like cheap motel in 90s. Very dissapointed. Listed as crown Royal St Peters NO where Near St Peters We travel a lot and were shocked at ths hotel. Lost a whole day of our vacation sitting in a outdated hotel in the wilderness instead of visiting central Rome. We planned our first day based on the incorrect advertisement not riding a cab or bus to St Peters!!!!! So very disappointed

I had a Stunning view from my room balcony of the pool! Great staff! Kudos to Sergio and Roberto, who were very welcoming! Andrea, in the gift shop is filled with knowledge about tours, bus, train schedules! (Everything to enhance your trip!! ) The furniture is somewhat dated, but the rooms were clean and well stocked. Nice size. Clean! Great food and drinks in the on-site restaurant! The food prices and drinks are reasonable. All thumbs up for the airport shuttle from FCO to the hotel and the cruise port transportation pickup from the hotel to the port!! Very convenient! Ciao

Tired and well used the rooms are dated and rough and hotel is not clean Bad location miles to anywhere Rome centre 1 hour €40 Coliseum 30 mins €20 No shops within walking distance The restaurant food is terrible I’ve never been served worse food The tiny shop in hotel just charged me €17 for 3 small cans of 7up and 2 mars bars We have never been bitten as much in our life’s anywhere else in the world we have mosquito bites on top of ant bites will need medical attention when we arrive home The breakfast is eatable but the service is bad The spar is very good but does not make up for rest of hotel The desk staff are very unhelpful and the concierge don’t seem to even know we’re they are 95 percent of customers are American and English and they have 62 tv Chanel’s but not one English Chanel only a news Chanel. Complain and it’s on deaf ears they are not interested When we arrived our room bathroom was full of black hairs Overall a bad hotel and a bad stay I booked a crown plaza because they are usually ok not the best but a good sensible hotel for not bad value I’ve stopped all over the world in them this is by far the worst I’ve ever been in

The property was located in a popular area where you could walk to public transportation in required. The hotel provided exceptional transportation services for the airport transfers, Rome City Center and sightseeing areas. The additional amenities of the hotel were very nicely located with easy access and signage was properly visible. I would strongly recommend this hotel and rebook when we return to Rome.

Needs remodeled

Hotel was clean with great shower and robes. Great pool for those who like to do laps or just relax. Nightly Piano man in the bar which was very entertaining. Restaurant around the corner, is definitely worth paying a visit.

Quote disappointed

It’s a very old not well maintained American style hotel. The rooms are not clean, especially under the bed. They have this very old AC system that utilizes floor-based coolers. There was a loooot of dirt under that cooler, I mean a lot. This goes into the cooler’s vents and then we breathe it.

Great place it was out of the city, away from crime so very safe for my family

I have not stayed at such a clean, well run large brand hotel in Italia. Amazing pool and a quiet, resort like vibe. Great stay!
