Good property for business trips

4 star hotel 3 star buffet

Really can’t fault the hotel, apart from it was frequently difficult to communicate. The staff tried hard but it was often difficult to get across the full understanding of what I wanted help with.

Clean and quiet place, very nice to stay with families. Pools are big and clean!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel twice this summer. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and art district, 798 art areas, the subway is within walking distance as well. The breakfast is great with good coffee and tea.

Lovely lobby

Had heard this hotel was good. So tried it out and was very satisfied. Nice impressive lobby area, easy check in and check out. Very comfortable room. Had an early morning flight, so didnt try breakfast.

Nothing in particular, just a fair hotel.

The room is clean and quiet. There is an air cleaner in the room which is good but the filter needs to replace.

They put me in a room back the elevator. So it is very noisy during the night.

Good hotel in a decent location

We stayed here as near my agents office… the area is nice to walk around and find restaurants. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was good with plenty of option for both Chinese and western food. Checkin and checkout was painless. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant, steakhouse, and a cafe type eatery with pizzas, burgers etc. We didn’t eat at the hotel, apart from bfast, so can’t comment. However the steakhouse menu looked good and they plenty of good wines on the menu.

Great location with easy access to lots of eating options and touristy destinations. Great for families.

Arriving after an international flight at 1am we went to our room to sleep. We were woken to renovation banging somewhere close only to be taken from our bed to answer the door wanting our laundry! How does an overnight guest give laundry at 8.00sm and get it back befor a moon check out!! When we checked out at 11:45 they were so sorry and said we could check out at 2. Why not tell us that before we pack our bags and leave the room. All this would be simply annoying in a 3/4 star hotel ( hence why we were at the Crowne Plaza). Next time we will save our $$

The hotel is clean and quiet. One thing I didn’t like is that I smelled smoke in the hallway even though it was a no smoking floor.

Nice without bring exceptional

Nice, but not exceptional. Design of the hotel and layout reveals itself as confused - bit dated but not unclean. Service is good, but missing the extra touch to make it 5 star. Pool is exceptional. Absolutely incredible. Gym has much light and is a joy. Better than average buffet breakfast. Rooms are large and bed is comfy.

A great place to stay. Their swimming pool is just wonderful one of the best

We had a good time.we were there as a family staycation.we mostly went there for the pool which was excellent.

Nice location. Big swimming pool. Close to good restaurants, message solons, 798 art district and more.

You can tell the cleanliness and relaxing feel of the hotel by its scent

Nice and modern hotel, comfy bed, good on-site restaurant, and a quick ride to the airport(twenty to thirty minutes taxi ride depending on the terminal). Highly recommended!

Bell boys helped me to order car to office every morning. Upgrade my room and allow to be late checkout to 3pm.

Awful

Two awful problems meant in the end I just gave up and checked out. My first room was incredibly hot, 26 degrees. The hotel out a fan in which made the room even hotter. They moved me to another cooler room, then just after midnight the whole hotel lost all tap water, so not able to brush teeth or shower. Terrible terrible night.

Very clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good,too.

Luxury in Beijing

Working in Beijing its some times a treat to stay in luxury. enjoy the pool and great food. The Crown Plaza here is Luxury you might not expect if you have stayed at their adequate hotels in the USA.

Business stay

The hotel is in a convenient location about half way between the airport and centre of Beijing. The area is much less congested than some other areas.

Convenient for my Friends location

This hotel is not central but was convenient for meeting friends in Beijing who live nearby. It is a comfortable hotel, but I found the attitude of the staff variable, from indifferent to over bearing. There needs to be a change there. Also there was a problem with my shower, the rain shower did not work.

Dirty bed sheet with blood stain on it. Bathroom door was broken, I complained about it but the staff said it was ‘by design’.

Hotel in Lido

It was ok. We stayed for two nights and asked to book breakfast for the first morning only and paid for it in cash (150 RMB per person). Breakfast was continental type but some pastries were hard and dry. Obviously not fresh. The following morning we ate elsewhere. When we checked out we were told we had to pay for the 2nd mornings breakfast because we didn't say we didn't want it. After some discussion the extra cost was cancelled.

Does anybody at front desk know what's going on ?

Would not recommend Americans to choose this hotel. Employees here do not speak English very well. Some employees don't speak any English. Employees just seem to be going through the motions, don't really work with a purpose. I tried to have the front desk explain what my fees were one checking out. Tried two or three different employees to explain what the charges were. No one could explain to me what exactly my charges were. However they wanted me to sign each page.

Inconvenient spot, great hotel

The downside of this hotel is its lack of a subway link and distance from the city. You need to take a cab or bus to get anywhere downtown. But they make up for it in excellent facilities, service quality, and a great gym and lap pool, which you can follow with steam and sauna. Large rooms with nice bathrooms, cheerful staff

Amazing, clean and great customer service

Great hotel 40 minutes from the airport

Hotel is at great location, about 35 - 40 minutes from the airport in light traffic. Hotel itself is in very good condition. Staff is very professional and helpful. We tried the Char grill restaurant. The wine selection covers all ranges, starting from $50. The steaks are very well prepared and cooked, although at bit pricy at $60 - 70. The fish was nicely grilled and priced more reasonably. The service was professional as well. We also visited the executive area on the 22nd floor. It provides complementary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Cocktail, wine and sprit can be ordered. But it takes about 10 minutes as they are sent up from the bar at the first floor. We found that the bar at the first floor with outside areas are actually nicer for after dinner drinks. Overall, we had a very good stay at the Crown Plaza.

This is a comfortable hotel and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and disappointing.

It's a nice place. It's clean and very comfortable. I'm very happy with the guy help us check in. I don't like the guy help us book texi. He didn't tell us the truth and ordered two for us.

easy check in/out process, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet- definitely a highlight of the stay. Biggest challenge was getting a taxi- hotel staff could seemed to try but could have been more persistent for hotel guests- when I stayed at other hotel next door, getting taxi through hotel was not an issue.

A/C

The A/C was not working and they changed to a better room, when checking out they tried to charge the upgrade, I explain and it was discounted. Very kind people.

Quality room and service.

Enjoyed the stay at this relatively new hotel. Room is large and clean. Staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Only inconvenience is that the hotel is not close to a subway station (which I believe is coming).

All the staff were very helpful and made the stay very welcoming, there was very few bad points with my stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, I used all the restaurants and I found the wine bar the best and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and colleagues. I have been coming to China for over 10 years, and stayed in many hotels all over the country and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in

Great stay with beautiful fitness facility

The stay was great and the location makes it so easy to get to places. The staff is extremely helpful and go the extra mile to help. Will definitely stay here again! The swimming pool is very nice and uses O3 water.

Hotel should really improve on its arrival service

Shortage of porter services to help me with my 4 luggages upon my arrival which annoyed me. When I run in to ask for help a young girl came out trying to push but I end up struggling by myself to trolling in. Guests from other rooms walking & house keeping staff making Noises from the corridor was often heard they outside my overnight stay.

Nice new hotel, convenient location, friendly and courteous staff, tasty breakfast. Club lounge was nice, but the décor was somewhat simple and not extremely comfortable. The staff in the lounge, however, were wonderful. Also, making reservations by phone was extremely frustrating. Overall, a nice experience.

Very enjoyable

Nice hotel but lacking in ameneties

Great if you just want a room and notice else. Heat/air was broken on my room. Lots of traffic noise from nearby highway. Restaurant was only average. What is really missing in this hotel is any bar or lounge area where can relax. Just a few seats in a big drafty and featureless lobby with no atmosphere and a meager drinks menu. The concierge told me a bar would be coming next month....!

Great choice in Beijing

Hotel was opened in March, 2014 according to what I was told. Very new hotel. And the key is: all the staff are nice, considerate and happy. Felt very comfortable staying there. Strongly recommend.

New facility with some of the kinks still being worked out, but overall good value and good experience. The pool and some other facilities were under construction during my stay, look forward to trying them when I return!

조식이 정말 맛있고 출장으로 갔었지만 조용하고 방도 컸습니다. 두번째 방문인데 이번 방은 곰팡이 냄새가 좀 나서 좀 그랬네요. 나머지는 다 좋았습니다.

There was hair in the tub. The rug was dirty. There were broken tiles on the floor, the side of the tub and on the walls. There was clear signs of mold and water damage. This should have been renovated a long time ago. Shame on you Crowne plaza.

虽然比初期略显陈旧，但依然是干净、职员服务好、早餐也好的酒店。 但是，由于该酒店门前正在施工，道路交通不便和家庭聚会（结婚等）活动较多，电梯和走廊上偶尔能听到嘈杂的声音。 但总体来说，酒店无疑是优秀的酒店。
