Good location with short walk to 2 metro stations, shops and restaurants. Cleanliness was great, kitchen area seemed good though I didn’t use it, provided bed linen was comfy, each bed had its own individual plug socket with 2 usb ports, only issue was the window by my bed didn’t have a curtain so I would be woken up early by the sun, overall a very good hostel for the price

Weird place in great location

Top floor of an old, bit out of shape, house. The interior of the hostel with its lila lights give bordell vibes. The low amount of rooms correspond to the low amount of bathrooms and showers (and toothbrushing spots). The personel on site are not the most friendly and welcoming, but do the job. A kitchen, although dirty, and the good location are a plus.

I will start off by saying we are not hostel people - we don't like sharing bathrooms with strangers. However, this hostel was clean and we never had to wait to use the bathrooms or shower. Our room was incredibly small (2 bunk beds) and there was hardly any room to move around, but the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was ok - there was a table for about 8 people. Everyone was very respectful of the fact that there were other strangers living there - everyone kept things clean and nobody was loud or obnoxious. They don't allow shoes inside, alcohol, or drugs there. The location is quite far away from the bus stop and you have to take an elevator up to the 7th floor and then walk up to the 8th floor. It was difficult with so many bags to get back and forth there. They allowed luggage storage if we got there early - our room was actually almost ready so they just had us move our things in there to store. We had to pay to use towels.

Look Elsewhere

We found out this hostel has recently been sold. It was obvious the new owner cut costs (linens, towels, etc) while lowering the product. Showers weren’t clean, but not dirty. Everything appeared to be done to the minimum. Our walls were thin and neighbors were loud. Never really felt settled in. Would have a difficult time recommending this place to a friend

1st Hostel Experience

This was my 1st experience staying at a hostel and it was better than I expected. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Clean, Quiet and Cozy atmosphere

The place is emaculate with a decent kitchen and lounge area. It's the perfect stay if you're looking for a quiet hostel with a cozy vibe. It didn't promote much of a talkative atmosphere among guests but that's because of the quietness. Be warned there are no outlets in the bathrooms. The space in the dorms is ok and there are windows. One of the better hostels I've stayed at.

Hostel is within 15 minutes of Center City. Nice kitchen which was fully equipped with anything needed for cooking or eating. Very friendly staff. The owner I believe has 2 dogs that sometimes come to work with her. They dont bother you buyban FYI just in case you are afraid or allergic to dogs. I stayed 6 days and was told at checkin I would have to switch rooms which dampened my experience. When asked why I was told that there was someone renting the entire room that I was in and the change could not be helped. To make up for it, I was given free linen and a towel but it wasnt an ideal situation and kinda dampened my trip. Even when I got into the new room I still had an issue which only added to my frustration. All in all it was an okay stay but I will not likely stay there again of ever in Stockholm. Also if you are on a top bunk it is likely that you will find boogers where the previous guest has left for you to see. I saw them on the top bunk on the right side in room #3 and the top bunk on the left side in room 7. The lower bunk on the right side in rrom 7 did not have any.

Really homey feeling and staff (Elita and Ahmed) were so good, nice and efficient and took care of the place so well that I thought they were owners! Good kitchen with coffee and tea supplied. Nice chill out room with weekly movie night. Great base to explore Stockholm by day and get a good nights sleep in order to be fresh the next day. The only suggestion would be to have more showers and toilets. Thanks!

The location is bit far from central transportation hub. Still reachable. Nice staff.

Crafoord Place -Hostel sleeping in Stockholm

I was looking for a place mainly to sleep and this was a good choice. It's a hostel with dormitory style accommodations. The bed was okay. However, there is an extra charge 50SEK per night for linen.

Wir haben einen viel größeren (10 Betten!) und gemischten anstatt des gebuchten Frauen Schlafsaals erhalten. Leider sehr enttäuschend. Zu wenige Bäder und Wasch-Möglichkeiten, sodass es morgens sehr lang dauern kann. Einige der Duschen sind sehr alt und richen modrig. Andere wiederum recht modern uns sauber. Küche und Atmosphäre waren angenehm. Die Lage ist recht gut. Leider mussten wir am Tag unserer Abreise erste kleine Bisse am Körper feststellen, sodass wir davon ausgehen, dass einige der Schlafsäle unter Bettwanzen leiden.

İlk gün net süperdi, ertesi gün arazalandı iki gün arıza giderilemedi, Burada bir saatte düzeltilmese etmedik laf bırakmayız, İsveç gibi bir ülkede nasıl oldu da iki günde düzeltilemedi anlamadım. Böyle bir kötü deneyim yaşamak zorunda kaldık.

Ett hostel som hade så att säga de nödvändigaste, va trevlig personal och de kändes rent och fräscht, priset va väldigt bra, location va väl helt okej.

Mir hat nicht gefallen dass ich im Crafoord Place ein 5 Bett Zimmer für 3 Personen gebucht und bezahlt habe. Wohl gemerkt 7 Monate vorher. Eine Buchungsbestätigung bekommen habe. Bewertungs Angabe war 8,4. Am Tag der Anreise bekam ich eine e-Mail das Hostel sei überbucht. Man habe eine andere Unterkunft für uns gebucht. Bekommen haben wir dort ein Zimmer mit 22 Betten. Privatsphäre=0. Dort sollten wir den gleichen Zimmerpreis noch einmal bezahlen in Cash. Hostelbewertung 6,4 . Zimmer schmutzig. Toiletten und Duschen eine Katastrophe. Ich hätte zumindest etwas gleichwertiges als Ersatzunterkunft erwartet.

가격이 저렴해서 좋습니다. 전망이 상당히 좋습니다. 조용한 편이고, 직원분들이 7시 이후 퇴근하시는데 자유스러운 분위기지만 굉장히 질서를 잘 지키는 편입니다. 위치는 상당히 아쉽습니다. 버스를 타든 지하철을 타든 7분 이상 걸어야 합니다.

旅店位在頂樓有電梯，樓下是IT學院，車站、捷運站大約距離走路十到十五分鐘，ICA超市走路十分鐘。員工友善，可惜廚房太小，浴室水量超小（不知道為什麼不用加壓馬達？），但價格便宜，還可看到水岸，清晨黃昏可到河邊散步或跑步。室內需脫鞋我個人不是很喜歡，因為清潔維護不容易。

Excellent Stockholm

I stayed for 3 days at the hostel. The hostel has a kitchen. It's close to the centre and cityterminal (around 20 minutes on foot). It's also close to shops.

Nice cozy hostel in the centre of Stockholm. Are strict on rules, which is great, since it improves the hostel's hygiene and comfort levels immensely. Only points of improvement would perhaps be to have larger shower spaces and better climate control systems.

Bra kök och vardagsrum. Sängarna knarrade ljudligt vilket störde en del. Duschar och toaletter är av varierande kvalitet.

Litet vandrarhem, lugnt, rent och fräscht. Över förväntan, förutom hissen som inte går hela vägen upp, fick bära barnvagnen uppför två trappor.

Prisvärt läge

Ena toaletten krånglade. En gång stod den bara och rann så att det inte gick spola och en annan gång var det stopp. I övrigt bra. Nära t-centralen, vänlig personal osv. Rent och fräscht (förutom toaletten). Handdukar istället för pappershanddukar på toaletterna, bra för miljön men känns ohygieniskt.

Välorganiserat, prydligt och tryggt vandrarhem

Vi anlände sent på kvällen, efter att receptionen stängt, men vi hade fått instruktioner och kod via mejl tidigare och när vi kom fram så fanns allt snyggt och prydligt i receptionen så vi kunde komma in på vårt rum. Kontakten med vandrarhemmet både via mejl och per telefon innan ankomst gjorde att det kändes tryggt och den känslan fanns kvar genom hela vistelsen. Ett välorganiserat, prydligt och ordentligt ställe. Både själva vandrarhemmet och området kändes lugnt och tryggt. Vandrarhemmet är bra placerat både nära centralstationen och centrum dit vi gick på våra utflykter/upptäcksfärder och när vi skulle åka hem. Tips att ta med sig tofflor och morgonrock samt klisterlappar att kunna fästa på ev mat man vill lägga i kylskåpet. Upplevde att det var rent och fräscht i alla gemensamma utrymmen som toalett, dusch och kök. Vi är nöjda med vår vistelse och kan mycket väl tänka oss att boka detta ställe igen.

Bardzo przyjemne i sympatyczne miejsce, ładny wystrój. Obsługa uprzejma, widziałam pracowników sprzątających sanitariaty, codziennie były zmieniane np. ręczniki do wspólnego użytku (kuchnia, toaleta). Wyczerpujące informacje dotyczące użytkowania wspólnych pomieszczeń, ważne w szczególności przy dużej liczbie osób na małej powierzchni. Pokoje standardowe jak na hostel (mieszkałam w 6osobowym, 3 łóżka piętrowe). Kuchnia dość dobrze wyposażona (trochę za mało garnków, ale są tylko 2 palniki, więc i tak nie da się użyć wielu naraz), w popularnych godzinach posiłków nieco zatłoczona. Mało przestrzeni w całym obiekcie, ale jest ona dobrze wykorzystana. Bezpłatny internet, jest też komputer do użytku gości. Dostępne są żelazko, deska do prasowania i suszarki do włosów. Trzeba mieć swoje poszewki i ręcznik lub je odpłatnie wypożyczyć. Kłódkę do szafy (wąski słupek, 2 wieszaki na ubrania w środku) trzeba wziąć swoją lub kupić na miejscu. Są też zamykane małe szafki na korytarzu. W kuchni dostępna herbata czarna "sypana", kawa rozpuszczalna i cukier plus żywność pozostawiona przez gości (np. makaron, ryż itp.). Woda z kranu nadaje się do picia. Prysznice na korytarzu, nie za wielkie ani luksusowe, ale w porządku. Są tylko 3, ale ani razu nie musiałam czekać. W toaletach nie ma luster, ale na korytarzu (bezpośrednio, niezamykane ani nie zasłonięte) są dostępne 2 umywalki z lustrem (taka raczej toaletka, można też np. umyć zęby, wysuszyć włosy). Mój 3dniowy pobyt wspominam bardzo miło.

Nice and central

The hostel has a really nice location to explore Stockholm from. The staff is very friendly and everything worked fine. Definately recommend for the price!

a pleasant hostel

Price was not as good as it seemed because you have to pay 50SEK for bed linen. The showers are a bit small and uncomfortable. But the hostel is very clean and pleasant over all, and especially the chairs and sofas in the corridor are very nice and relaxing.
