I’ve stayed here before and stayed here again recently and was pleasantly surprised to see it renovated rooms and furniture is new! Beds were comfy. Free parking is such a plus. Location is super convenient in marina district. Very walkable with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Not the fanciest place but great for comfort and staying a few nights in SF!

It was clean and in a safer area of SF. I loved the SF maps and artwork. Not a lot of amenities but it had the necessities. I will stay here again.

Good location in the marina district. Walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. The Waymo was able to pick up and drop off in front of the hotel. Free underground parking. Restaurants nearby.

We love the Cow Hollow. Always our first choice when visiting San Francisco. The current updates are beautiful and tasteful. Very Inviting SF theme.

I know the remodeling, but our window wouldn't shut all the way we had a tremendous matter road noise. Also, there was rust in our water in the shower brownish color.

Every time if I have a dinner in that area, you know I’m calling on the cow Hollow Inn

Nice stay.

Nice room with a view of Golden Gate Bridge. Free parking was a real plus. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Great Accommodation in SF

Amazing place to stay in the Marina district. The location is great with lots of food around. The room was excellent, the bathroom was big, the beds were comfortable. There was a parking garage for guests which is very handy in that part of town. Check in was easy.

Cow Hollow was a perfectly adequate place to stay. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the area was VERY walkable- lots of restaurants and sights are within either walking or a short drive. A BIG bonus is the free parking with a gated lot downstairs. Rooms a bit worn and dated but the heat and ac work and everything is clean. Good stay for a great price.

Overall, room was not clean. Smelly blanket, hair in the bathtub

Property is definitely dated. Bed was super uncomfortable and sheets didn’t look or feel to great, good for a nights stay in a bind but nothing to write home about. Staff was very friendly and efficient. carpet was insanely stained and felt dirty

Good Location for exploring San Francisco

My room was a bit run down tired looking. Some things I noticed were a big stain on the carpet, light bulb out in the bathroom and empty body wash container in the shower. The mattress was comfortable, I slept well. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great neighborhood, many restaurants, and stores around the corner

Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here!!

The desk clerk failed to code the door keycard properly….twice! The furniture was warm and bed uncomfortable. It’s cheap but never again.

My room was clean and comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Checkin was easy and area was very walkable. I will stay here again in the future!

Area is great but the property is old. There were tons of ants all over our bathroom and got into my makeup bag so we will not be coming back.

This has been our go-to property over the past 40+ years as the location is safe,convenient and the rooms fairly spacious and clean. With our recent visit we were delighted to find a complete room renovation. Our understanding is this property will continue to undergo a complete renovation.

The room was spacious and clean. Parking garage was included in the room charge and it was super helpful in San Francisco where the parking is headache. The area is convenient with many cafe and restaurant.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath suite , was truly a sweet overnight for a group of runners in town for a trail race.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms are! Clean, clean with fresh towels when we needed them. Location perfect for the best sights and restaurants! The parking garage is great, so important to have a safe space for your vehicle in this city.

Pleasantly surprised! 3rd floor of motel was remodeled about 6 months ago. It's not a fancy resort or anything but great location, clean and safe.

I’ve stayed at this property a few times and wasn’t sure about coming back. The rooms were looking old and run down. This time was different. I stayed in a newly renovated interior room and it was a nice surprise. The location and parking for this property is perfect for when I visit family in SF. I’ll def be back.

Good stay but not my best -still recommend

Everything was great - the service was amazing, the room was clean and neat. However the shower was slightly broken and that was a bit of an inconvenience. The pull handle would not go up or down without extreme force and the water pressure was subpar compared to my stay at other rooms at The Cow Hollow Inn. Overall I love this place for its location, cleanliness, affordability, and service. It was my first average stay compared to my other excellent stays. I still recommend it and would stay here again. Please service the shower in room 132.

Great location for us; location was great for shopping and dining and very convenient for walking to places we wanted to visit. Staff was helpful with our early arrival and the room was spacious and well appointed.

This is a great little hotel. The hotel isn’t fancy but our room was very nice and spacious. The location is fantastic with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Parking is free and convenient. We have stayed here several times and will be back.

This was a safe area that was near enough to walk to local area sights such as fishermans wharf or possibly Presideo park, Parking was free at this hotel and well lit.

We have stayed there many times. Reception staff is always polite and helpful. Our room was clean. Nice and quiet an a bit of a view of the Golden Gate! You folks might want to consider replacing the scratchy towels though! Shout out to Roman at the front desk. Has always been so helpful on every visit. Thank you!

Old school motel in a generally nice area of SF. The gated parking garage helped me feel safe at night with my car.

Newly refurbished rooms are clean and comfortable. This is our go to venue for quick SF trips. Walkable neighborhood with lots of good options. Close to SFBay.

Great restaurants all around and walking distance to the marina green

This is a great location. I didn’t know what to expect but the pictures didn’t really do it justice. My room was cute, carpet was yuck and pillows were not what you would expect but I loved the bay window and the fact it could open. This is walking distance to the water, it was such a great location I would definitely come back and stay here. And you can’t beat the included parking either. Don’t expect a 5 star for what it was rated, and what I paid it was a good value and I enjoyed the location a lot.

The room seemed newly remodeled, nice, clean. No fan in the bathroom though? The elevator seemed loud and a bit wonky. Appreciated the underground gated parking lot and location near many restaurants and bars.

I always stay at Cow Hollow Inn when visiting family in San Francisco. The room that I stayed in was recently refurbished. It’s very comfortable and quiet. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Definitely my go to place!

Quiet room requested facing Chestnut granted. Great comfortable king bed, very clean and spacious. Prompt efficient check-in. Free on site parking near many great restaurants. Safe for women traveling alone. Very good security.

I unlocked the secret (not so secret) to staying here - a deluxe interior room on the third floor! It’s like walking into a 4 star hotel inside a 2 star hotel. Everything is upgraded, clean, comfortable and stylish. Construction on the second floor indicates more updates to the subpar rooms.

My aged 22 son and i spent 5 days in yhe bay area and all 4 nights here and are so glad we did. We saw zero homeless or panhandlers within a half mile at least in any direction. Parking was so easy. Loved the 3rd floor corner view and that the windows opened! Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Locations downtown has its good and bad. It's noisy and my window looked into a creepy little alley. The plus being there were tons of shopping and food right outside the door.

Wanted a coke, but third and second floor machine not working, had to call for ice bucket but they brought fast.

Quiet area of the city. It appeared to be safe. Parking our vehicle was a little confusing at first. The room was neat and clean. The problem was that one of the windows was open and the air conditioning in the room did not work well.

For the price is a really good hotel, free secure parking in that area of San Fracisco is a pluss, I have some minor issues (air coditioner didn't work) and need update, but in general I feel good there and I would book again if I will back to San Francisco.

We always stay here whenever we're in the Marina. You don't get nickel and dimed for resort and parking fees, this is why I stay here and the location is fantastic.

The property was great. Our room was on the second floor facing Lombard. The noise from the street was prevalent in the room. Otherwise it was very good
