It was good
Property was clean and bed was comfortable.
Everything was great till I had a big roach crawl on my arm as I slept… was disgusting…
Check in was fast n pleasant. Clean Spacious room n comfy bed. We opted for breakfast options $10 for two person glad we did! Breakfast was cooked to order fresh delicious and came with Starbucks coffee can’t beat that! Will definitely stay again.
room with no Shower door or curtain
A room was provided to me on the ground floor with no shower door or shower curtain, I complained about it and I was told that a shower door or curtain is not available for this room.
Property and location is great but walls are really thin and you can hear your neighbors.
Excellent
Nice stay and clean room
We needed to make a last minute reservation for a medical appointment and Courtyard turned out to be the perfect spot! Hotel was clean, room was spacious, and the front desk staff was amazing! We will be back in the future!
NEVER AGAIN
It was a great stay and comfort wa amazing
Clean and quiet location.
Quiet and convenient
Quiet and convenient
Great stay!
Great
Checking was good and the room is very nice. Unfortunately trying to grab breakfast in the morning before heading to work was problematic. No staff inside after waiting for a good time I gave up andvheaded out
Stay away at ALL cost
I recommend NO ONE EVER EVER EVER waste your hard earn money at this establishment!! Customer service was pathetic. The young guy can't check me in but can surf Facebook right in front of me. $9 for a 20 oz coke, seriously?? Management flat out lied to Hotels.com customer service about what time I checked in. And the breakfast for two that I paid for wasn't somehow in their system but it was on my screenshot! Then I only got a breakfast for one child. Plz don't throw away your time, effort, expectations, and money on this hotel!!!!!
I really liked the interior of the hotel. I will be staying there in the future.
Staff great loved my stay I felt safe
Quiet and clean
Okay Area Nice Room Poor Service
Stay was okay, room was nice. I have to say the black male agent in front desk services (forgot his name) was friendly and very customer service oriented. Keep doing great! Only positive asset at this hotel. Housekeeping was trash, they would not come by to clean, exchange towels or give tissue paper, nothing. I usually leave tips for housekeeping but didn't have to there. Bed was comfy, a/c could use a lil adjustment in this Houston heat. Heard a constant knocking noise over my bed every day lasting 3 to 5 minutes, sounded like a headboard hitting every 2-3 hours like a prostitute or male jigglo was above me lol. Room was too expensive for the service to be so poor. The laundry was ridiculously expensive to wash & dry, which I'll be reporting. I will possibly not book there again, unless there's a special. I Informed the female agent about the issues when checking out, after she asked me how was my stay. She said she'll send points to my Bonvoy account. Nothing yet. Oh and I was not informed I'll be charged daily for 3 parking, which is hard to find after 9pm. Overrated. There is a starbucks near by, that's a plus!
Wonderful stay
Very nice and pet friendly. Usually you do not find both.
Unfortunately some of the amenities offered on the site, weren’t available. There was no room service as listed. The only working ice machine was on the first floor. Our room was on the fourth. The bar in the lobby never opened. But that being said the room was nice and clean the shower was great. And Uber eats delivers there. So all in all we would stay there again
No problems.
The best bathroom design that I've seen in any hotel. The passthrough shelf to the shower is genius.
Everything
Staff was very nice
Horrible Stay
Horrible customer service. Advertised free parking but charges you for it. Horrible A/C in rooms
Clean
This hotel is trash!
The front desk clerk was abrupt and rude when we checked in. Another clerk the next day was rude when we called front desk…didn’t answer the phone with a greeting just picked it up. We had to speak first. Dogs barking ALL hours of the night. People shouting in the hallways. The smell of weed prevalent. Transients on property. ON TOP OF ALL THAT…the beds sucked. It felt like sleeping on a spring with no padding. I hope I never am in a position to have to stay at this hotel ever again.
I was very happy thanks
The staff was professional and courteous. I also loved the spacious room.
Excellent
Kind front desk staff. Convenient location to hospital
The shower head was kind of inconvenient.
It worked out. Room was great and so was location.
Not So Wonderful
Checking in was fine….got to my room and decompressed! Turned TV on and wasn’t working, called front desk. Same young man that checked me in answered…..I explained the tv wasn’t working and he immediately went into he had no idea, he had just returned after a few days off. I asked if others had called, might be property wide. I asked if there was cable in the lobby…..he said he didn’t know. Then he said “I was rushing him and he would have to ask someone.” Rushing him…..I was just asking! I said, “okay you do that and call me back.” Mind you the parking lot was empty and no one was in the lobby when I came thru with my bag. Stinger…..he never called me back! Just left me hanging! I was so tired I didn’t have the energy to call him back so I took the cables apart, tried and retried…..yes I was pissed! After 12 hours of driving all I wanted to do was shower, watch a little tv and sleep. The problem here is they had someone at the front desk with no problem solving skills! This is a training issue!
Great
Easy checkin and checkout. Comfortable room and bed.
The hotel itself was excellent! Staff was quick and helpful and the room was comfortable and nice. Unfortunately, breakfast was not served as confirmed online as well as by a staff member the night before yet woke up to no breakfast. Very dissatisfied with this fact as I had to go out in a thunder storm to get breakfast. The bar was also closed but that wasn’t a huge deal.
Clean and convenient
I was looking for a clean place to stay just outside of Houston. The hotel met my expectations. I could hear some highway noise in my room. Consider bringing earplugs or using a white noise app if you are a light sleeper.
Awful
Hotel is nasty. Room 314 smells like cat pee. Thick dust everywhere.
Great stay at Courtyard
This hotel is clean with a professional staff. My room was comfortable, the bed was especially comfortable!
Greeted with a friendly smile as I checked in to our room. Definitely appreciate receiving exceptional customer service. We will be back on our next trip to Katy.
Great stay
The hotel is beautiful and clean. Check in was easy. Location felt very safe. Very comfortable bed and clean shower. Really enjoyed our stay!
Everything was great!
The room was very clean! However, the mattress was not comfortable because it felt as if you were in a hole. My back hurt a lot after that and I did not get a good night's sleep. There was also a piece of flooring when entering the bathroom that was a safety hazard for anyone. We were in a handicapped room and that was a hazard! I slipped and fell hitting my knee. I have a bruise. I did not like the treatment I got in the morning before check-out. I called and asked for towels and was told in a curt voice to come down to get them because they did not have housekeeping services; yet, when I returned from getting the towels, housekeeping was cleaning rooms and had plenty of clean towels in their carts. I felt discriminated against as a handicapped elderly person because other customers were getting assistance and I was not being helped. The Barista was wonderful and made the stay the best because of the service he gave us for breakfast!!!!
Pleasant front-desk service, quick check-in and a comfortable room. Close to Starbucks and other restaurants.
Clean and well taken care of facilities. Comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Very good for a cheap weekend away
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. I was traveling with my (reactive) dog and asked for a room near the stairs/exit. I was able to get a room on the first floor right by the side exit door, which made it very easy to get her in and out without encountering many people. The cost for adding a pet to your reservation is also much cheaper than most other hotels. The neighborhood felt very safe. There is a nice walking/biking path nearby, and plenty of places to eat. There are not many bells and whistles here, like others have said. There is a pool, but no hot tub. The gym is very bare bones (free weights only went up to 15 lbs). The cafe serving coffee is only open for a few hours in the morning and is not free, but there is a coffee shop right across the street. Parking onsite costs $3'ish per day, which I wasn't informed of and discovered on my bill afterwards, but not a dealbreaker in my book. The hotel could use some updating, but felt clean and was very affordable when compared to downtown Houston. It was ideal for a quick weekend away without breaking the bank.
Noisy
Great place with great prices
good
What hotel/motel does not have free coffee much less breakfast either free or reasonably priced? Not worth the money.
Hotel is close to our daughters apartment and it is a clean, nice facility to stay in with very good rates.
I would definitely stay at this place again as well as recommend it
Hotel was very clean & bed very comfortable
The room and facility were very clean the staff were friendly helpful and did an excellent job we will stay there in the future if need to be in area like in the hospital next door.my only suggestion is that a handicapped accessible room should have shorter beds was hard to get my 87 year old mother into such a tall bed.
Terrible place to stay
Terrible, did not honor request to replace coffee provisions that were missing. Did not make up the room, later told I had to request that the prior day. No breakfast on the weekend and told dinner was available Sunday night, Not this Sunday. Charged to park in the hotel lot without telling me but charged my credit card after the fact. Booked the disabled person room with roll in shower but had a bath tub shower. Will tell everyone I know this is not a place to stay. Avoid at all cost.
I did t get sugar and cream for the cofee and a hair dryer in my room. I did t even receive a bottle of water.
I had a great experience, my room was very clean and very updated. I will be booking again soon.
When we asked the front desk for a box of tissues as ours had run out, they handed us a partially used box with a stain on it. We said “no thanks.”
Great place to stay
Looks OK on the outside, inside nothing works.
The outside and the grounds seemed clean. Inside there was a weird vinegar smell in the hallway, but the real fun began once in the room. First off, the wall-unit AC made a noise that a passenger jet getting ready to taxi to a runway. Second, the walls are thin. Spent most of the night listening to a Ketel One fueld party next door. I know the brand because an empty 1.75L bottle was sitting just outside. Third, there was no hot water. It was just a bit warm. Also, the water pressure is so bad that the water just falls out of the showerhead instead of anything resembling a spray. The showerhead was set to the "massage" setting which allowed the water to basically drip forward a few inches instead of just straight down. The breakfast I paid $10 a night for? Didn't happen. The staff said that "the guy responsible for breakfast didn't come in today". I would quit charging upfront for breakfast if I were them. After a night of no sleep, the staff agreed to let me change rooms. Upon entering the room and turning on the light switch one of the lights blew out. The AC wasn't as noisy, but still didn't cool effectively. Set at 70 the room temp was closer to 80. Same issues with the lack of hot water and water pressure, plus the wifi quit working. I wouldn't stay here again if it were free.
Very nice
Hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was quiet and bed comfortable. The AC worked but the room was muggy. And the power went out in the middle of my shower. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again.
Nice, quiet room Staff are welcoming and professional The AC in the room works but air is humid which made it muggy. (But, hey it's Houston) Overall, I would definitely stay again 🙂
Great place and customer service.
All ok
Everything was great
Make sure to ask for your room to be cleaned because otherwise it will not be cleaned. It was specified in our reservation that we wanted the room to be cleaned every day however it was not until day 3 of our stay that our room was cleaned and that was because we asked them to. The room smelled musty.
Great stay!
The lady that checked me in was extremely friendly. My stay was just a short, one night, solo stay so i did not use any of the amenities. The room was very clean, very spacious, very comfortable. I would highly recommend this location.
Great Hotel
Clean hotel, nice room. no free breakfast got to pay for it
Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Pool was clean bed was comfortable as well as the sofa sleeper. Will be my go to place for a short getaway from now on.
No TV
The TV didn’t get a signal so it wasn’t working. The Wifi wasn’t working. These things made it difficult to have a decent time in the room
Super kind and thoughtful staff. Room and housekeeping was superb and very clean! Highly recommend the hotel!
Great for hospital visit
Conveniently located to Texas Children’s Hospital. Joe was super helpful and considerate.
We Thought the staff was the best part of it. The rooms were comfortable. It was great for the money! very quiet and we felt safe. it was also conveniently located.
Welcoming & Comfortable
Very nice welcome by the front desk. Very comfortable bed resulting in an amazing night sleep.
Free parking isn't free y'all
At check-in I was given a tag for my car for parking and told to put it on the dashboard. The one night there was fine, nothing remarkable. (The duct tape on the elevator was a little unexpected for a Marriott property, and a small child sitting in the dining area unattended was weird but I think/hope it was the evening desk clerk's son.) Skipped breakfast. At checkout there was a young woman standing in front of the desk. I asked her if she worked there. "No." She wasn't a hotel guest either. A young man wearing a hoodie came out from behind the desk area. (Guess that was his girlfriend visiting.) He was friendly, took my keys, and processed the room check-out. At no time was I informed of any charges; however, a few days later I saw a fee for $4.19 from "I-10" and it turned out to be from this hotel. I called to ask what this was about, thinking they charged my room in error. Turns out there is PARKING RECAPTURE FEE of $3.87 + tax. Hotels.com listing says FREE PARKING, and considering this place is basically in Katy there is no reason for this charge. You can easily park outside the lot, or you can choose a better hotel altogether.
Upon arrival I received an email saying I can check in early & was unable to do so. Called and the rep wasn’t pleasant at all. Around 1:30a-2a the power of the entire power went out in the hotel. No it wasn’t raining no it wasn’t crazy wind. Then the power went out about 3:30a again. There was no remote to the tv in the room. The phone was broken to the room. The towels were dirty. The bathroom was half cleaned. I was charged for a parking pass I never needed. There was a random $10 charge on my card at 1:30a in the morning. I will never use this hotel ever again. On top of that the staff was missing for over an hr on the Friday Night Shift to inform her of my concerns. There was no tooth brushes in the room. I actually would like a refund and to speak with corporate.
My room had 2 queens and a sofabed And were clean. Went down to the pool also very clean. Did not get to have breakfast or the minibar but i still enjoyed my stay. The tv had no signal in my room but i really didnt mind.I dont watch tv but Im sure it may be a issue for someone else.
I told my husband the front desk had the friendliest people I have encountered in a very long time. It wasn’t fake either. They were truly nice. Bed is awesome!
My reservation was made and paid for and when I arrived at 1am in the morning they advised me that they were at capacity. I then spent 3 more hrs searching for a room for my wife, 7yr old, and 1yr old in houston on a Saturday night in or around Houston. They overbooked extremely and it backfired
Safe and quiet. Seemed like the décor was more upscaled recently? Very friendly staff. Very clean. Charles was very nice at the front desk, but I really don't want to single him out because the all of the staff I spoke with were very nice.
Nice area overall and well kept room. Only thing that was displeasing was finding a very dirty towel hanging as if it was clean. Apart from that I enjoyed the property.
Near a Starbucks and close to I-10. Don't like the additional fee for parking. Staff is very friendly. Some rooms on the top floor have noisy plumbing. Very nice lobby bar and snack bar area. I stay there frequently. I recommend for rooms not on the top floor. Reasonable rates compared to nearby competitors.
Weekend trip
Staff is always excellent at this property. Very friendly and helpful. Entire property and room very clean. Mattress was on its last legs and needs replacing air conditioner works well but made weird bird chirping noises which made it difficult to sleep.
We checked in, went up to our room, and then left the property to grab dinner. When we came back to the hotel, the elevator was out of order. That wasn’t a huge big deal. We walked up 4 flights up stairs with kids and settled in for the night. After grabbing a shower and getting into pajamas I noticed that a “parking pass” (it was a slip of paper we were to place in the dashboard) had been folded and tucked into our key card envelope. Had I been told there was a parking pass tucked into the envelope or just handed it, I could have place the slip of paper on my windshield immediately following check in. Instead I had to wait for my husband to shower, have him walk down 4 flights of stairs, go back to the parking lot in the dark, and walk back up four flights of stairs so our car wouldn’t be towed. Just a bit of an annoyance and something that could have been easily avoided with communication.
Very nice property. The room was great and the bed was really plush. Nice large bathroom w/ walk-in shower.
Clean and quiet
Very clean and quiet establishment. All staff from front desk to restaurant and maintenance excellent. Comfortable room with great beds.. I plan to stay on my next trip to Houston
Excellent stay. I highly recommend it
Very nice hotel condition overall. Great service.
Clean spacious room with sitting area, microwave and fridge. Close to various amenities but does not offer free breakfast to guests. Website states free parking but a parking fee was added to bill. Upon request it was removed. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.
All good
Great and friendly staff, breakfast was excellent and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay there again.
Clean, friendly, accessible… it was a lovely stay!
Our room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We will stay there again. The bathroom floor was not cleaned behind the door and the elevator floor needed mopping.
The, hotel front desk associate Felicia and the Manager Jasmine were very rude and disrespectful. The associate charged my card an extra $100 upon check in without my authorization. The associate then told me I had to wait 7 to 10 business days before I got it refunded to my card. The associate promised me a free night stay for my inconvenience and said it was authorized already by the manager. I called back to verify I was still getting my free night stay credit with the manager Jasmine and she was very rude telling me she will not give me the credit for my inconvenience, which was completely different than what I was told by the associate Felica.
They have just been making up random prices to charge me. The front desk woman even admitted it to me so I have been checking my credit card every single day to make sure new random charges aren't being added. And they aren't low prices. One of them was $200.
