The Area is nice, and conveniently located to center of City and airport. Would like if the rooms had a couple of cups, not just disposable ones. Breakfast was good.

My overall stat was good. There was a mixup with the Parking. I paid for parking but because they didn’t really make it clear for me on exactly where the spot was, I parked in free parking of another business. They said they still had to charge me because I reserved the hot spot even though they didn’t make it clear on where to park. Breakfast was amazing. The location was amazing. The hotel was very clean. And the train station was only a five minute walk.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room, which was clearly mentioned on the reservation, yet when I arrived I was given a room with a bathroom in which there was no room to swing a cat, let alone use the toilet or shower/ bath. The hotel advised they had 6 disabled access rooms, but that they were all taken. I made my booking in good time, and Expedia who is in charge of the booking needs to create fields on the room selection page specifically for ‘accessible rooms’ to ensure it is brought to the hotel’s attention. Despite my request being as clear as day on my booking, the courtyard in Zürich simply overlooked or omitted any correlation between my request for an accessible room and the fact they had none available. Had they done this, I would have been advised and been given the opportunity to book elsewhere and get a room which met my basic needs. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, quite the contrary, however an administrative mistake has not only cost me the night at this expensive hotel, but also meant I only had a bed and a sink. No shower or wc. I think I deserve a partial or complete refund for this stay. Originally I was going to be staying two nights but had to change it to one - thank goodness for that. Staff were professional and understanding about the issue, but couldn’t do anything as I had booked via hotels/ Expedia. Who do I contact who do I speak to to help me get at least a partial refund as the error wasn’t mine?

1. We booked and paid for a 2 beds room. Their cleaning lady has left, they can only give us a 1 king bed room for me and my adult son. 2. Little molding inside shower enclosure. Otherwise, good neighborhood; easy tram and bus nearby; COOP supermarket across the street.

Excluding several elevator issues that were sometimes annoying, our experience was great! This was our 4th stay at this property in the past 2 years, and we always look forward to going back. The reception, housekeeping, and food staff are all super nice and personable. Location is easy to get to Oerlikon train station, Migros across the street for snacks, and there is a city bus stop literally 20 steps from the front door. Recommend this property? YES!

Nice staff and decent hotel. Room wasn't clean at check in (multiple hairs on bed and such) but no cleaning staff were available because it was the weekend at the late evening hours so we had to clean ourselves. We had breakfast at the hotel because we were in a rush, it's 25 CHF per person (~$30 USD) for a buffet style breakfast which was WAY over expensive for the variety offered or the taste (which wasn't bad, but definitely wasn't very good). We will not be returning to this property.

Excellent Stay at this Property

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Room size was quite big as compared to the European style. Really excellent location with easy access to train station. Staff was very nice & helpful. Would love to visit again this property on our next visit to Zurich and will suggest our friends too.

Nice hotel

Great Place to stay! Delicious breakfast! Many restaurants right beside the hotel, I even think they are part of the hotel but they have many options. We tried the sushi place and it was top!

Some of the service staff needs retraining/ I suspect English is a barrier / they try but don’t recommend for anyone that cannot communicate in the local language

Having stayed in several Oerlikon (North Zurich) Hotels over the years, the Courtyard Marriott is one of the best. The hotel staff are GREAT! The Oerlikon train station is a 5min walk; Bus stop is directly in front of the hotel; A dozen excellent restaurants are all within a 10min walk; A Coop is right across the street (for snacks and goodies); The breakfast buffet is good, and the hotel is very safe, quiet and clean. The suites are pricey and rather small for the cost, but are very nice and well maintained. Will we book this hotel again?... Absolutely!

Clean and comfortable. Great Staff

I loved the hotel but the air conditioning situation has to improve. My family and I had a terrible night because we WERE soooo hot!! Woke up sweating. I will try to find another hotel that has air conditioning. This is NOT ok. Such a shame!!!

Checked in on Monday 26th December 22., there was no shower gel in my room dispenser. Told reception next morning again nothing on Tuesday. Got the shower gel on Wednesday 28th. For Marriott that's absolutely shocking for me. Breakfast I felt was poorly refilled. Had to keep trying the staff that this is missing etc rather then them initiating refills. Very disappointed :(

Augustine at the front desk was the finest I hv met at the multitude of marriotts that I hv stayed over my lifetime Simply almost like family—way to go Augustine—-took care of everything like placement of my moms room next to ours —providing a handicap accessible room and doting over the smallest details with us made us feel very welcome to Zurich

I booked this hotel for my last night of a 3 week trip in Switzerland so I don't have to drive through Zurich traffic. What was handy was a Coop across the street for the last minute shopping, but limited choice of restaurants.

We visited for 3 2-day stays over a two week period during a family visit to Zurich. The front desk staff was uniformly warm, active and knowledgeable. So impressive to watch them switch between several languages. The hotel is well maintained and cleaning staff attentive and careful. The location is terrific - just blocks from the Oerlikon station so access to all of Zurich is easy without staying in a pricey downtown hotel.

Marriot never dissapoints

Marriot is always excellent in every aspect of your stay. Cleaness and attention excellent! The location is a highlight!. Just a block from the train and tram station, a big supermarket, and bunch of places for coffee and food. Staying there again if I go to Zurich.

Perfect stay!

It was just one night but it was the night of our life :-D We slept so well that night (perfect temperature, no noise AT ALL, no light thanks to the thick curtains, very very confortable beds…)! Moreover, perfectly located between train station, Halle 622, shopping center COOP, many restaurants, etc…) and very sweet staff!

Everything was Marriott standard. I was a bit thrown off by the price of parking. As everywhere else in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, parking is at a premium. The hotel does not have parking. The parking deck was easily accessed within the hotel. Just surprised at the price. I do realize Marriott has no say on the cost of parking.

Perfect stay in convienient location!

The service was lovely upon checking in and checking out. The staff at reception were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the hotel is fantastic, it's a few minute s walk from Oerilikon station, which is only another 5 minute train ride to Zurich city centre. To the airport was only 5 mins away in the other direction. There is also a large Coop supermarket across the street. As for the room itself, it was exceptionally clean. No complaints! Would definitely recommend.

Good Hotel away from City

Good hotel if you get in good deal. Just make sure your room is not next to service room. They keep opening and closing the service room door all night. We had to move our room next day. Close to the tram and train station. Starbucks is next to the hotel. Tram S14 goes straight from Main Station.

Minor things will lead you to perfection

The hotel is almost great with minor things to add for the great to be. Breakfast selection could be better for 4 stars hotel in Zurich. Room and toilette amenities should be better by adding good brands and better selection of coffee like espresso machine. Rooms are perfectly spacious. Great welcoming staff.

Easy access to city and good value

Clean room in nice area slightly outside city center but short walking distance to train/trams into the city and from airport. Hotel offered comfort expected of a Courtyard, including consistent wifi service, and for me was good value.

Good location- wish the A/C worked better

Good location- 3 blocks from the train station and 1 stop away from the airport. Neighborhood is quiet. Room is spacious, and comfortable except for the air conditioning, which never got below 28 degrees.

Close to Metro station for connections to Zurich central, supermarket outside. Breakfast not worth the money, too expensive !!! friendly staff

All in all a great hotel and very close (without the noise) to a bigger train station which is crucial to get around in Switzerland.

Convenient location next to both a train station that links to the airport and all of Switzerland, frequent bus service and routes. Room is standard and average size, tub/combo shower which is standard in Europe at this level. Tubs in Europe are deep, watch the stepover, could use more handrails to help. Supermarket across the street restaurants nearby and in hotel. Pricey breakfast but it's Switzerland

The location of the property. Close proximity to the train station, grocery store and various intertainment options etc..However, the staff were never accessible.. I made numerous attempts to call the front desk/operator from my room but no one answered..

The hotel was very nice and super close to the train station. We stayed there to be close to the airport and we weren’t disappointed as it was only one train stop away. If you’re looking to stay close to downtown this place isn’t for you. Although it is only one stop from the main station.

Convenient to a train, trolley, bus station, so getting to both center city, the airport, and main train station was easy. The staff was very helpful. They should include breakfast automatically as do most other hotels in Europe.

So convenient for those of us missing or getting kicked off of our flights. It’s attached to the terminal for those 5:00 AM flights. Right out a second floor door and you’re in Concourse B. Super convenient for American flights.

I liked this hotel. We were staying here due to its proximity to the Hallenstadion. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and we were offered directions and assistance anytime we asked. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing about the room I wasn't keen on was the height of the bathtub - it's high off the rest of the floor, so a big step in and out. While there are shops and restaurants in the area, it is not densely packed with options. The Overlikon station is very close by, making it easy to access the rest of Zurich. Would recommend.

Excellent functional hotel for business stay at a price somewhat more reasonable than in the centre of town. Starbucks next door for coffee if you need it! A bugbear of mine is the ubiquitous plastic sheet on the mattress - if you don’t take it off sleep is impossible....

Awesome stay!

Our stay was short but it went great! The service desk made sure to make our check-in and check-out quick and easy. The hotel is very convieniently located, just a short walk to the train station which can take you to the center in just one stop and the tram is right outside the door. I would highly recommend the Coop market close by for the cheapest place to buy snacks and amazingly cheap and delicious breakfast!!

Our check-out experience was very good. Check-in on the other hand wasn't as good. Breakfast is over priced but there's a grocery store across the street and small refrigerators in the rooms.

Solid four stars

Very nice hotel. Decent place for business travelers. Slept very well. Skipped the breakfast, as it was over-priced, but it smelled very good. No stocked minibar, but they had many things for sale in the lobby. I grabbed a good Swiss beer. Lots of TV channels. Nice to have a personalized greeting message on the TV when I arrived. Also had both Swiss and European power outlets. Not all hotels do.

Good place to stay

Overall very happy with the experience. Fairly easy 12 minute Uber ride to downtown. Breakfast at 22 euros is a good deal for Zurich. Great buffet selection. Nice and fresh. Dinner not so great. Would suggest going elsewhere for this. Service was generally attentive. Twin beds are larger than in most of Europe. This was a very pleasant surprise. Would stay here again.

Room modern, spacious and very clean; hotel staff friendly and efficient. Would certainly return.

Unknown charges to credit card

Was charged $50chf to my credit card that was placed on hold. Without realising when checking out, credit card was charged $50chf without my knowledge despite assurance from counter staffs that no outstanding charges. Emailed the hotel but no reply. Disappointed with an 5 star hotel treatment.

Modern hotel. Near train station

Renovated hotel. Very clean and well ubicated in front of a supermarket where you can eat also. Two blocks away there ia a train metro stop that takes you.to the airport or the historical business area.

Zero complaints

My wife and I had a great stay at Courtyard by Marriott. The staff were lovely and willing to help when we asked. It was also very close to the train station making it easy for us to get around. Lastly, this was the first hotel that my wife and I have ever stayed at to have comfortable, good quality pillows. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting zurich.

Very nice hotel

Super hotel. Good quiet and decent sized room, comfy bed, tea and coffee supplied. Didn't eat in but menu sounded nice.Local food store over the road was ace. Nice area and handy for the venue that we were visiting. Only downside was the bit water in shower took ages to come through and was a bit patchy. Will be coming back for sure.

Terrible Hotel Shuttel Transport

Location was ok but not as expected. Was nice to have the trains close to us tho. The shuttle service that we tried to get from the airport to the hotel was HORRIBLE! We had to wait 2 hours for the shuttle to come and get us and when we asked the terrible advertised vehicle that ended up taking us to the airport, the driver told us he didn't go to that hotel and left! We kept calling e hotel and they said he was there once and didn't see us! It was absolutely a nightmare trying to get to the hotel and then he didn't tell the truth on the whole thing.

Nice hotel

Two train stops from the airport, but we decided to get a taxii for 4, which cost over 40 Swiss francs. An airport shuttle would have saved a bit of money. Swiss travel is VERY expensive. Trains are three times more expensive than German train service. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

Nice hotel but far from Zurich center

Nice hotel but not really close to Zurich center. There is a train stop close by so getting into town was easy. Helpful staff. Room was ok, small for US standards. Comfortable bed. Restaurant was expensive, 32 Swiss francs for breakfast! We ate dinner there one night and entrees were also expensive. Zurich is expensive in general. Price ai hotel much better than in center of town, would probably stay again if we ever visit again. Across the street is a supermarket with a restaurant-go there for breakfast, it is much less expensive.

Simple and close to the airport

Primary reservation about this hotel was the lack of shuttle service from the airport. It was not explained by hotel staff that a 'reservation' had to be made on a 'shared' shuttle in order to be picked up at the airport. After standing at the airport pickup for 30min we ended up taking a taxi which was only 5 Francs more for the 3 of us.

Good option for early airport departure

Hotel is clean and we'll appointed for an early morning flight. No complaints-basic Marriott product.

Almost, but no sink is a game changer.

very nice they were able to check us in very early. However, we informed me that the sink in our bathroom did not drain. they were going to fix it. however when we returned hours later, they had made it worse. We complained that now we had no sink, so they moved us to another room. ugh. at 8:00 at night. Manager said he would take our earlier drinks off our bill ($51.) but when I got home I found that he had not done that at all. Hotel is great location, couple blocks to train station. They were good about getting us a shuttle, but quoted first $22, then others told us it would be $35. Had the mgr not been sitting in the lobby listening to this, wemight have been stuck with the $35 taxi. Left us a little disgruntled.

Perfect hotel for families!

I travelled with my 2 kids. It was a pleasant surprise to be upgraded to a decent sized twin bed with enough space to unload our two large suitcases and still have space to move about! Thank you. The Bistro at the hotel serves excellent burger too!

It was excellent in bedding.

My family stayed it for one night. The cost was valued at this hotel location. It is convenient and easy to find it if you find the correct exit direction after you get off the train.

Nice hotel

The hotel was nice. When we got to our room it had a terrible smell but we noticed a window was left open & assumed it was from outside. We shut the window & left not returning until late. When we got back we realized that the smell was coming from the drain in the bathroom but we were to tired to call & switch rooms. Big mistake because the smell became almost unbearable. Notified staff in the AM & they seemed bothered that we did not let them know right away. Otherwise, the hotel was exactly what I expected from a Marriott, clean & comfortable.
