Good location and friendly staff
Great location and excellent staff! This was a wonderful home base in Tokyo-- close to the subway, safe, clean, and a beautiful room. The breakfast buffet was great and we had great meals each and every time we dined in-house. One of our favorite hotels in Tokyo!
The staff were very helpful as our flight was delayed getting there and ended up checking in at midnight. Staff was able to recommend great ramen place which opened til 4am!! Location also very convenient for shopping and getting around using the metro. The staff were good in providing directions to places we wanted to visit (ie: restaurants, shopping....). The 3 restaurants at the hotel were very nice. We tried only 2, ramen and sushi, and both were excellent!! We didn't get to try the beef place as lunch was only available Fri, Sat and Sun.
Everything was top class!! Very clean, safe, in the heart of shopping district and close to subway.
Super solid value, well located
Hotels.com reservation was in reliable
Booking was made thru Hotels.com but reservation was not in system. Fortunately hotel was able to accommodate us
Rooms were very out-dated. Need renovation. Everything seems to be back in the 80s and room and corridor smells funny
Great location, and good service!
The people were very friendly and I am satisfied with the food. Location is quite good for me. The bathroom sink was very low. But I will stay there again.
I loved everything about the hotel except, the window view was back of the hotel and the only thing I can see was the back of the tall building. I felt like I was in Manhattan.
The hotel itself was nice but because of the constructions that is going on next door caused a bit of noisy situation
A great place to stay in Tokyo!
Easy check-in, easy safe walk from train station, English friendly, great breakfast!!
The bed is super hard. Very old hotel.
Location, Service and Comfort
Always amazing service, well maintained room, great location. This is one of a few that I consider as my base of operation while in Tokyo
great location, nice frontdesk staff and F&B staff
I specifically chose this Courtyard-Marriott Hotel because I am a member of the Marriott Chain and I was under the understanding that no matter how the booking was made, that I would get my rewards points. I was totally disappointed to have learned when I checked out that this was not the case and that because I went thru expedia I would not receive membership points. Yet, when I arrived and checked in at the Hotel, I gave my membership number and they checked it properly and i was not told that I would not receive any credit reward points. So, staying in this highly expensive hotel for the value, considering that there were other much nicer and lower priced accommodations, i consider it to be a bad choice and one which I will not repeat during my next travels to Tokyo. I hope you share this note with other so all can be alert of this total misalignment and what I consider to be a deceitful practice. If I won't received rewards points, then tell the clients up front before the reservation is made, so other options can be considered. Regards and thank you for the chance to express myself and provide feedback. Ernesto Lau Marriott REwards Membership 130829908
Great attitude of service showed by Restaurant “FIORE” Staff, Front desk very kind and helpful (well managed reservations at restaurants and cultural events (musical). Our only issue was that 5th floor rooms are facing to a wall. We had our window facing a wall. Many thanks!!
Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $50 and stay anywhere else. I stayed there my partner and we were so disappointed. We assumed we would be staying at a Marriot with the same comforts as a United States Marriot and we did not. The hotel itself is old and outdated, the hallways smelled terrible. Our room was spacious, the air conditioning didn’t work, the bathroom smelled like mildew, the shower curtain was beyond disgusting. The employees were very helpful and the buffet in the morning was the only positive thing about the entire experience. I will never stay here again.
Fantastic location and a very easy walk from the Higashi Ginza station. Getting there via train / subway from Narita or Haneda Airports is very easy. Rooms are typically small for a Japanese hotel but very functional.
Rooms not hallways not the cleanest. More like a 2 star hotel. Staff are great and helpful.
A nice week long stay - convenient and accessible
The hotel is perfectly situated. I just wish that all their rooms would have an automatic free breakfast buffet. My hotel room is WAY too small. Its 13.3 square meters. I did not really check the size of the room when I was booking. Anyway the hotel is near the places I need to go to in Ginza. Though the hotel itself has the vibe of being a little on the older side, there is some construction beside it that may be an extension of this hotel. So a lot of things to look forward to with regards to this hotel. But all in all I'm happy with my stay in spite of the size of the room and bathroom. Though the rate can be friendlier like other hotels in the area, the location is quite convenient. The hotel staff was quite helpful and knowledgeable of English. This makes up for everything that the hotel lacks. Kudos to the people!
The high level of customer service. Lobby seats and also decor
Great location, good service, WiFi and breakfast were nice. Not sure why Marriott pricing is so outrageous compared to Expedia!
Staff and food were exceptional, the location had easy access to transportation and shopping venues.

I have only good things to say about our stay at Courtyard Marriott at Ginza. The only improvement would be a bar with better bar food (little tasty bites).
Great location in Ginza. Close to shopping and great restaurants!
Breakfast buffet is fabulous. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Everything was great, including the buffet breakfast.
The room I was given was tiny. I compared it to a colleague's room, which ws twice as large.
Apart from the staff, who were very accommodating, I felt the property is in desperate need of a refurbishment. My first room was 11sqm, for JPY24000/night! I asked to change and was charged JPY5000/night extra which I paid because there was just no room. My room was 21sq meter which was a better size. But because it was so old, it felt dirty and the plugs were exposed behind the bedhead and didn't work. There is no USB port in the room or the TV, so I had to go buy an adapter.
Definitely come back again
We arrived at the hotel about 4 hours before check-in time. So we left our baggages at the concierge and went out for lunch and some shopping. When we returned, all our six baggages had already been sent to our rooms. That exceeded our expections! Great services. Great hospitality. Good service mind.
This Marriott hotel gave my family a great experience and location. The staff were always willing to help which made our stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable. The only negative I have is the bathroom worked out but was a bit tight in comparison to other Marriotts.
Gym in Ginza!
Small room, a single. But that is typical in Japan. Everything was fine. And how great to have a gym!
Great location!
Very conveniently located hotel near the subway, shopping, and sites like Kabukiza. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. The room was small but clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend for business due to great location.
Nothing particular. good service, good location, good everything
First time staying here. The room at the top floor. A little small, but very nice and clean. Walking distance to everything in Ginza and Tsukiji. Will stay again.
Hotel wasp-acted in good location very closed to Ginza six. Located in the center area for Ginza. The Hotel staff very helpful for recommend, and make a restaurant' s reservation.
Perfect location and wonderful, friendly staff
Location was fantastic, in the heart of Ginza, very close to Ginza Six. The staff were very helpful, helped me mail a package and several letters and postcards. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, and they even had some gluten free bread, which I appreciated. Also the hairbrush they included with the toiletries was the best!
Perhaps it was high time during our stay, there were limited rooms available so we ended up paying a lot for their smallest room. Gentleman at the front desk seemed like he was having a bad day. No eye contact, not smiling and not keen on helping out. Other than that, hotel is located in a prime location and the rooms were very clean.
Will Stay Again !
Good hotel for business trip, location is very convenient for meeting in downtown Tokyo.
Great location, extremely friendly staff. Excellent amenities
Great for business in Tokyo!
great staff and superb location
Rooms were smaller than normal for this price range.
The location is perfect in Ginza. Rooms are small but very clean and have lots of nice amenities.
Amazing Stay!
Location was fantastic!!! Breakfast was superb. Service was also very good
The property is well located and although the physical infrastructure and rooms are a bit dated the level service I received made up for it. In particular I appreciated that they accommodated a very early check-in for me. As well, I tried to use the gym one morning but the door was broken and my card wouldn't scan and nor would the cards of the bell staff. There was a French bellman who took me through the back way reserved for staff use which recognize isn't per usual operational procedures, but by slightly bending the rules he allowed me to get my workout in rather than turning me away after my repeated attempts to access. Overall a pleasant stay.
Excellent hotel in its class
Great hotel! Very nice location, very clean, excellent breakfast. Stayed here many times.
Good business hotel
Booked room last minute for a 1 night stay. Not the most spacious room, but looks clean and hotel has a good location in shopping area. Will probably book again for future business trips.
Good hotel for the price
The food was not very good the hotel itself was ok.
I like it
Near the center Ginza and walkable to shinbashi or yurakucho JR yamanote line. The best thing about the hotel is probably the service. People also speak very good service
4.5 stars, would do it differently next time
This is a great place, however unless you are really set on staying directly in the Ginza area - there are cheaper options that are just as good. This place is amazing though for what it is. Personally, I would stay around the Asakusa area and just metro it into the Ginza area.
Great location and friendly staff! Staff has no problem speaking English :)
Great location in Ginza near shopping and many dining options.
Friendly and hospitable staff. Convenient location. Great breakfast.
Best choice we made at the last minute. Close to everything. So clean, safe and great staff!
Even this is in Tokyo, the single room I stayed in was very small. If you charge average $200 a night for this room, I better not come back here. There are prenty hotels in Ginza area which offers better amenity over all. The staffs are nice and friendly, especially women staffs who took care of luggages and people who takes a airport bus. Another items this hotel is missing are sitting area on the first floor.
Small rooms. Breakfast is good. Nice location.
Professional and friendly staff. Great location. Thank you for another pleasant stay.
The room was a tad bit small for my comfort and to include the restroom as well
It is an old n rather rundown hotel. Terrible for It’s pricing.
Breakfast is great. Proximity is Ginza and Tsukiji is very good while also being slightly separated so as to be very quiet and peaceful. Bed sheets had lint and hair which should have been cleaner.
Great location. Spacious room for a Ginza hotel in this price range. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast.
Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was also very good.
Nice Ginza Hotel
A great hotel with impeccable service level. Arrived earlier and dropped our baggage off at the counter. Returned at 5pm after meetings, wanting to check in and get our bags. To our surprise, the counter told us they have checked us in and our bags are already in our rooms! This is the first time i had such a nice gesture from a hotel, and trust me when i say i stayed at countless hotels before... Will definitely return again when i have business trips to tokyo!
Great hotel with strategic location
Five star hotel experience with top class service. I am very happy to stay in such hotel.
Convenient location, clean hotel, nice staff
Great location, 15 walk to Tsukiji market, and 8 mins walk to Higashi Ginza metro station. Easy to go anywhere. I have a status with Marriott, but unable to earn points because it's booked through Hotels.com. however, hotel staff gave me free breakfast.
The Air Conditioning is bad.
The toilet ... odour... The air conditioning is very bad, no fresh air, very hot during our stay. After complained at the 2nd day, the hotel placed a fan in our room, but still very hot. The on shift manager was very helpful to come with techicion to check then arraged additional room. Staff speak good English.
Excellent!
Very good stay experience!
We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and services were great.
The property was very convenient with shops, restaurants and transportation within a block. I also appreciated the bonus of having a free phone to call the United States. What a treat!
I had a great upgrade, terrible view.
I was complimentary upgraded to a king bed, but the outside view was horrible, it faced other buildings. Rooms are small and bathrooms were extremely compact. Staff and hotel were great overall. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Very clean and centrally location for all local attractions
Room was way too small
Felt like a Japanese budget business hotel. At Marriott prices. Also, no front desk integration of SPG and Marriott memberships. A great area, good staff. Just not worth the price it charges. Even in Tokyo.
The room was too small.
Would Stay Again for Sure!
Great location between Ginza and Tsukiji fish market. The rooms were clean, great AC, really nice water pressure and the staff was super friendly.
Proximity to everything - so convenient, competent and friendly staff.
Close to Ginza - good shopping location
Good location close to ginza and most shopping area, easy walking to most of the public transport, breakfast were excellent
Very convenient for shopping dining and airport and train accessability
good location, reasonable price
I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed the experience. The location is excellent, close to Ginza shopping district, Tsukiji fish market, subway station and about 20 mins walk to the palace and Tokyo station. I booked the economy room from Expedia, the cost is reasonable, but room is very small, even after an upgrade for my gold membership at Marriott. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle has a stop right in front of the hotel
Dated but still lovely stay ..
Hotel little dated but still clean and comfortable. Wifi was strong and good. Room on the small side but if you spend most time outside then it's fine. Breakfast was good and overall good service from staff. Close to shopping street and subway.
Nice hotel and close to everything
I loved everything and everyone except one concierge who was a bit snobby and didn’t feel comfortable asking him questions. Not suitable for this hotel.
Not a very pleasant stay
I think I had paid a higher price than certain other guests using same type of room, but was offered perhaps the least preferred room (window looking at pipes and couldn't see the sky), even when I arrived within the first hour of normal allowed check-in time.
Great area to stay in. Nice hotel. Within walking distance of great shopping
Ms Yui is the Best at Reception.
Ms. Yui (spelling may be wrong) at Front Desk is the BEST in helping Guests. This was my first time to Tokyo and she goes an extra mile for zguest.
Highly recommended
Short walking distance to the shops in the main shoppig area of Ginza. Also walking distance from the Ginza station. Small room but comfortable and very clean and functional. Excellent hotel condition. Buffet breakfast is great.
Nice location, just a couple of blocks away from the Higashi-Ginza subway station (exit A1). The hotel is steps away from the major shopping district in Ginza.
Close to Tsukiji market
Close to subway, shopping in the Ginza area, and Tsukiji market
Hotel overall was good , front desk service was no
It' was good, nothing special though
Nice hotel, great area
Very nice hotel, Clean, Staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean but my room was extremely small. If my stay was only one night - it would not have mattered but I stayed for 4 nights and was told I could be relocated but that never happened. However, the room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the Sunday dinner buffet was excellent.
business district in Ginza
Nice hotel. Nothing negative to say. Staff was great. Food for breakfast is wonderful. Room is spacious and clean - spacious for Tokyo. The hotel restaurant is a good place for meetings and eating. Easy access to public transportation.
Very courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast was terrific.
Coveniently located and friendly staff
Very comfortable
Very good. Clean comfort.
Nice hotel in the beautiful Ginza district.
The room is small compared to the American standard but very comfortable. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful especially the concierge. The airport shuttle bus stop was fight in front of the hotel front door was a huge plus. We will definitely stay at this hotel if or when we visit a Tokyo again.
Excellent service and convenient location.
Highly recommended
Excellent stay - room not huge but very comfortable (recently refurbished although does contain a daft bathtub which channels water from the shower all over the floor). Ideal location and reasonably priced, very good breakfast, very supportive staff - support with subway tickets, airport transfer, post etc
Nice hotel close to shopping area in Ginza
Hotel check-in staff very helpful with any assistance on get around and very good in English.
Best hotel in Manila
Beautiful clean room, great restaurant. Lots to do nearby, and very close to the airport.
All round good stay. Buffet breakfast included in room price is convenient and good value for money. House keeping was excellent, and the team on the 10th floor were very helpful, and always did a wonderful job. Only complaint is that when I was checking in, and asked for an additional night stay, the male desk clerk said I had to book through the 3rd party online provider I had booked with, and could not book at the desk with him. I knew he was just being lazy (which annoyed me a lot), so I just let it go, and came down the next morning to book an extra day with the lovely lady at the desk. Please Marriott, get rid of the lazy staff like this, they are not good for your business. He was middle aged Japanese man with mostly grey hair, and could have booked an extra night for me, but could not be bothered. I was the only person at reception at the time, so he cannot use being busy as an excuse. Apart from him our stay was very good :)
