The property is modern appears to have a decent looking gym and pool. Breakfast should come standard as part of the room package

My overall stay was great

Very central location. Nice rooms. No housekeeping for a 2 day stay. Too bad breakfast wasn’t included, you had to pay.

The hotel was very elegantly redone over the years and it was a pleasure to stay in the staff were great the hotel was nice and quiet and had multiple things to do there had a bar room a pool ,it was clean snack machines by the front desk.

Didn’t really get to use much of the amenities. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Nice sized bathroom and good lighting. Parking was easy and it was snowing heavily but was cleared quickly.

I have stayed on this hotel every year since November 2022, staff are very professionals and friendly. This time around there a couple of things that might need improvement such as cleanliness of the areas, we stayed on floor 6 and there were several flies flying around the hall that also somehow got into our room several times. The Netflix app on the TV looks like got updated but not in a positive way because every time we would return to watch some TV we had to log-in again on the app so we could use it. Other than that i love this hotel and will be staying every time i come visit the beautiful city of Oshawa.

This hotel was convenient for my trip.

Hotel and staff were great. Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but there is a golf course close by for those interested.

I enjoyed my stay

This hotel was recently completely renovated, and having been to the old hotel (Holiday Inn), the upgrades in every facet was just remarkable. The staff at the front desk were so welcoming and explained all the new options at the hotel (including the Bistro, upgraded pool area and a gorgeous fitness centre). The room was clean, very spacious, and the 55" tv with satellite as wrll as Prime, Netflix and Youtube ready to go was really nice. Just a great stay!

Really nice decor and friendly staff

Our family was in town for a funeral. Front desk was able to arrange our rooms close together. Staff were kind and friendly. We had a king room with pullout couch. It was modernly decorated, and 6 of is were able to visit in one room comfortably. The bed, linens and pillows were great quality. My constructive critisism would be that the prices at their lounge/bistro were too high, the hummus appetizers was bland (but the service staff was great). There is no free coffee in the lobby and breakfast was not included for a room priced $179/night. I would highly recommended and stay again as we enjoyed our stay. We ordered in from Skip the Dishes.

Engagement night

It was for our daughter’s engagement. Beautiful room clean comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay. Check in staff were super friendly and informative. Definitely stay again.

We stay at this Hotel on a regular basis while in Oshawa visiting family . Always happy with all aspects of our stays . Keep up the good work folks !

Newer hotel with excellent amenities

It always a pleasure staying at this location i would not book any other place when im in the city the atmosphere is always beauty and peaceful. They keep the place clean breakfast is alway amazing and the staff what can i say tgey are always pleasant and kind.

The facility suffered a water main break, Sunday night of the Labour Day weekend. The head of maintenance, Bruno, was able to bring equipment and men to bear promptly, and was able to excavate, find and repair the main, and have water service restored by 8am the next morning. The crew worked all night!! Very Impressive!

Everyone was very kind and polite. The tater tot plate was to die for! My only small complaint is how loud the room doors close. People coming in through out the night was a startling way to wake up, over and over. Otherwise, it was lovely!

My room was prepaid via Expedia. Management charged me an extra 14.94 u.s after holding my credit card for security deposit. Please remove this amount which is still pending after 6 days

Property nice, staff need trained on customer service

Lovely room. Comfortable bed and sofa. Clean. Was surprised that there was no soundproofing. Could clearly hear conversations in hallway.

They do not except cash, just credit card. Very upsetting.Not everybody has one or Wants one. Cash was gold at one time.

Needs a hottub

I am a fan of Marriott - the only gripes I had here were (a) very temperamental coffee machine in my room, and (b) the pillows collapsed flat and gave no support overnight. Otherwise, room was good, spacious and comfortable; well kept and well managed.

I would have given it an overall score of ten, however, there was no complimentary breakfast. They wanted $14.00 for, what amoumted to a bowl of corn flakes.

The overall property was clean, staff was friendly and room was really nice.

It was beautiful and reasonably priced. Clean and quiet.

On arriving I explained that my wallet had been left at a bathroom stop the staff said I couldn’t book in without photo ID and a credit card even though the room was already paid for. I understand the reason for the credit card in case we destroy our room I just think that if we had there would have been ways of finding us. The other staff member working asked my friend if he had photo ID he did and he said that would be fine. Just a hassle I didn’t need. Ended up finding my wallet at Napanee so it would have been quite the detour and we’d have missed our concert.

Fine rooms

Fine stay. Tub didn't drain, but they fixed it. Carpet smells a little like it has been wet. Room was close to the pool so lots of kid noise in the evening until bed time. Very helpful staff.

Asked 4 times for the room to be cleaned because we found a bug on the bed sheets. It was never completed. When I called the front desk, a rep named Ryu was very arrogant and rude to me over the phone. We were obviously frustrated and Ryu told me to come to the front desk as he wanted to confront me. I went down to the front desk and Ryu was gaslighting the situation, instead of trying to listen to me and provide any type of customer service. Spoke to me in a condescending manner with arrogance. I told him that if this is the way he acts in his position, he is in the wrong industry. We will never stay or recommend this property. We stayed 2 nights. You can find something else in the area. If you are paying ridiculous prices and they cannot clean your room, or replace your towels after you politely asked 4 times, then are confronted with an entitled, arrogant front desk clerk, this hotel doesn't deserve any business. I hope this helps others and makes them aware of my terrible front desk staff experience. PS...they left towels and bedding in a plastic bag, hanging on our door handle when we got back at 11:30pm. We cleaned everything ourselves. Thanks Ryu for the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, at the Marriott in Oshawa!

We really enjoyed the professionalism demonstrated by the staff during a hockey tournament weekend although we weren’t part of the tournament.

Only problem kids hockey tournament. Way to many kids swearing in front of my kids being rude.

Went for a staycation with the family, the staff was friendly and helpful! The kids loved the pool and it was actually warm, which was nice for the toddlers.

Had an amazing stay! Travelled with our 8 month old - front desk was amazing, changed our room right away when we were concerned about noisy neighbours , pool was clean and amazing , room was super clean and bed comfy ! 5 stars

Went to visit my son in Oshawa and as in the past many times stayed at this Hotel . Very friendly staff and as always clean and well appointed room . Only one night stay this time but will be back in the future for sure ! Keep up the good work guys !

We stayed on the 7th floor and there were like 2 consecutive night that there were 6 kids running and screaming on the hall without any parents supervision throwing things around. The hotel had a TV outage for all costumers that lasted more than 24 hours so we couldn't watch TV while resting those days. Massively disappointed in my stay this time around, this is the third time i been staying on this hotel because its been good so far but i guess luck run out on the third time. Will look for some place else next time i visit Canada.

Another great stay .

We always stay at this hotel when visiting my son and his family in Oshawa. It's always a pleasant experience staying in a clean friendly atmosphere that the staff perpetuate throughout the hotel . Well done keep up the good work .

The staff responded well on check in when it was discovered the room I was assigned was among a group of families with many kids. I was given a new room assignment in a more quiet and pleasant location. An initial problem with the internet connection was also eventually resolved. A complementary breakfast was assigned in compensation of the issues caused which was greatly appreciated.

Very clean and up to date. The only thing that was not great was one of the elevators was out of service so it took forever with only one elevator between the cleaning staff and all the guests

Stayed at this hotel many times. Room we were assigned was a standard king bed room. Room was tidy and clean except for the bathroom where tiny little creatures were in the shower (reported to from desk). Also the exit door hallway was covered in excrement (possible from mice) - not a pleasant site I(again reported to front desk). I would still stay again at this hotel as these issues are not uncommon, especially with the summer heat.

Would never stay here again. Would love to launch a formal complaint.

Very nicely styled, clean rooms. I would like if the shower floor was cleaner maybe a magic eraser? I have the same type at home.

The room was very clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. The rate was excessive. There wasn't even free coffee/water in the lobby. Having stayed in many Marriott and BonVoy hotels, this is not typical. No free newspaper, nothing to entice one to the lobby or communicate "welcome."

We’ve stayed here a few times, and it doesn’t disappoint. Staff is friendly, parking is free and convenient, building and rooms are always kept clean and tidy. Love the option of breakfast, and the convenience of streaming services on the tvs. We will be back again soon.

We heard every person walking in front of the door including staff cleaning carpet at 7h15 AM. Room was next to an elevator and we heard it all night long. Room was modern, sevice and food was great. Some maintenance should be done in the room: TV was working partially, bath faucet was not sturdy, no shower fan...
