Totally unsatisfactory!!!

Our room accommodations were totally unsatisfactory! I called the desk to assist as the toilet was not functioning. At this time my 91 year old husband was in bed. It was 9:30 and we had a long day.The staff attempted to fix the toilet, apologized. He thought it was ok and would note to have maintenance come in the morning. I called the staff a second time as the toilet was not functioning!!! There was no way we could spend the night in this room!!! The staff gave us another room next door. My husband got out of bed, dressed and I gathered our belongings to go to the room next door. That room was generally satisfactory HOWEVER the TV did not work. Over all a challenging stay, after a long day. I look for Marriott to credit the cost of our room!!! I look forward to hearing from Marriott!

It is clean, the room was spacious and everything was functional. The hotel is in close proximity (not walking distance) to UCF. Nightly rates for UCF graduation didn't increase as much as other hotels near by.

The hotel was nice & atmosphere was pleasant.

Tv not working and could not get another room. They said Expedia has to refund us a night for the inconvenience

fine clean hotel, nice beds. only problem was the direcTV only had 4 channels in main bar and same in rooms. Did not even have ABC so there were many frustrated guests that could not watch a nationally televised football game on ABC. Hotel not paying for enough channels for TV service.

Well located for family visitors of UCF students

Th property is still under remodel. The room was outdated. The toilet, toilet paper holder were broken, a/c was loud, beds were hard, and rooms was just not as nice as others we’ve stayed at before in the same hotel. Do better Orbitz. When I’ve booked through Marriott we get better rooms. Shameful.

The only complaint I had was the very loud people in the lobby and the manager never said anything to them. Other than that it was very nice, quiet, and comfortable! I’ll definitely stay here again

Clean quiet hotel

Went for overnight stay to visit son who just started college. This hotel was perfect . Our room was super clean and the a/c was cold.beds were decent enough . There’s some restaurants and bars within walking distance and lots others places less than 20 minutes it’s also close to the college. It is a cute simple clean quiet hotel and will definitely stay again. Only con is they don’t include breakfast like every other hotel in the area does . You have to pay extra

Ants all over the room including pillows. Toilet barely flushed. For that we were given 5000 points which equals $5. Poor customer service and lack of staff or manager to handle problems. Would not recommend this property

I had to be in town for a University orientation session and it was a perfect walking distance from where I needed to be. The staff was very accommodating to my friends and I needs. Also it got a major remodel and the room we stayed in was very comfortable.

Nice and clean overall. Room was very comfortable. No complaints.

The hotel location was great. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were bugs on the beside table, the bathroom was not clean properly, and the mirror was missing from the wall. You can see the screws where the mirror supposed to be.

The company paid two rooms with a king bed each and the staff gave one room with two queen beds. Unfortunately they didn't realize it when they arrived and thought it was just one room. I feel completely ripped off.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard. The room was prepared well before the 3 PM check-in time. It was clean and had a fresh scent. While the mattress was firm, the pillows were slightly too soft.

Marriott didn’t let down!

Freshly renovated, the property looks good. It is within an area that is being. Renovated, so some local construction exist. Rooms were large and clean, and the property has large, mature trees, that shade virtually every parking spot. Really comes in handy in the sun!

Fire pit didn’t work and terrible access to it.

The property was very clean however, the area around the property was under construction. The pool is great. The facilities also looked very clean and organized however, during my visit elevators were down.

Very nice stay

The property was very close to the UCF Campus. Had great dining options very nearby, almost walking distance. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. I liked that the Bistro had a liquor option, and that the menu was filled with good choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This Marriot will definitely be my home away from home while I visit my son at UCF.

Room are dark. Not enough lights

This is a nice and clean hotel. The beds are comfortable. For the price however, one would hope there would be a free breakfast and that the unique guest washing machine in the whole hotel would work (the dryer worked, but not helpful without a washer).

Great location for UCF families. Clean and New!

TV wasn't working. Tried to change rooms but they did not guarantee tv would be working on those rooms. They sent someone in the morning without notice who walked into the room while I was using the restroom. Breakfast counter lady at register quite unfriendly. Hotel has a great location.

No HVAC

The HVAC system eas broken in the room. They sent someone up to look at it and they agreed it was broken. Thier solution was to offer me more blankets. When you pay over $200 a night you expect the accommodations to work or be moved to another room. It was a very sleepless night trying to get comfortable.

We loved everything about this hotel except the bed linens: one sheet and one thin coverlet. Even with the air turned down we were uncomfortably cold all night.

Nice and quiet. The staff was terrific! I thought the food was priced to high.

Honestly was perfect for my situation. Everyone was helpful and pleasant when asked any questions.

Close enough to the Orlando Speedway

Get rid of starbucks. Would it kill marriot to have a coffee earn for complimentary coffee

The shower took a layer off of your skin and the ac unit was noisy other than the regular working noise.

Recently remodeled. Room was nice and comfortable.

We came late around 10pm and the lady staff was awesome.

Thin walls. Continental breakfast was lacking.

The “minor construction” is not minor. It’s quite disgusting!! I did receive notice AFTER I booked, that there was construction in process, but it almost seemed unsafe to be there. They offered a “free breakfast” for the inconvenience , but the unripe fruit, and coffee without flavored creamer was not worth it. One of the elevators was very bumpy and loud. This place should close until the renovations are complete!

No hot water that’s horrible I was freezing

Hotel was under construction. Long delay for hot water for shower. We were told we would be receiving free breakfast due to the construction between 6:30 am and 10 am. No breakfast at 7:00 am.

The property was under remodeling and that made getting on the property difficult.

No hot water the window in my room 435 window didn’t have screen and the carpet by balcony door was wet and smelly they sprayed perfume to hide the smell no hot water in the hot tub by pool ice cold water and the water smelled like sewage when you turn on shower

The property is undergoing major renovation. I would not recommend staying here until renovations are complete.

Staff are very accommodating

I would have NEVER booked this hotel knowing it was under construction. Horrible road condition, poor security, very dirty hotel, elevators were scary. Very disappointed you would have this listed when under such poor conditions

Property was under construction and understanding there will be dirty floors but the hall rugs were pretty disgustingly dirty. Hope the hotel will be a total renovation, it’s pretty old.

The property was under construction. While my young daughter was in the lobby restroom, a male construction worker entered the restroom. When the staff realized the property was booked through a third party you were treated entirely differently. When we finally in our room, there was not hot water. The front desk said they were aware of this and to let the water run for a few minutes. Still hot water.

I love how convenient it is to UCF, and all the dining options nearby. Nice place to stay while getting my daughter oriented on campus. I look forward to the renovations being complete!

I didn't like that I was not informed of the construction that will likely not be completed any time soon, that there is no maid service except for stays of 3 nights or longer, no hot water, generally unclean property. Definitely not up to Marriott Standards.

Good location. Unfortunately remodeling work was going on so they had the main entrance closed and construction work outside. Hotel condition inside is worn out (carpet in the halls, etc). Wish Courtyard and hotels.com had published that remodeling work was going on, or a special discount for inconvenience had been offered so we could have made a better decision on where to stay. We found out once we got there and after we had pre-paid the full fee. There were other decent hotels in the area at a lower price and no remodel work going on.

I paid for my room then count check in because the hotel was under construction. The staff was sleep at the desk and couldn’t answer the buzzer, the side doors were locked and the phone number was out of service!!! Had to find a new hotel

Under major construction

Not happy with all the construction going on, i was not a where of this , had i known i would never stayed there, when i booked i had no idea of the hotel being completely remodeling i over paid for this. I should of had a huge discout for staying there.

The property was under renovations. The work hours were 8am-5pm. A note in the elevator stated the water will be turned off 12-5pm. The 1st room we got had water damage on the ceiling also the light fixtures in the bathroom were broken & ready to fall if touched with the fan cover hanging. Icing on the cake was the fire alarm going off at 4:45AM for about 20 seconds

Bedsheets had urine on them. We needed them to be changed out came to hotel . People were having sex, right outside of a hotel room and a car. then nothing was ever mentioned about the construction going on until the day we got there.

We were not told they were going through a complete restoration when we booked. In addition, the alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason.

Clean facilities and I appreciate being told beforehand about the ongoing construction. Friendly and courteous staff; myriad dining options nearby

Poperty was under construction and we were not informed of this until the day of check-in so we were unable to find other accommodations and could not tell if the hotel was even open. There was limited parking due to the construction at the hotel and all buildings surrounding it. The cleaning staff did not come in and leave new towels or empty trash. Will definitely not stay here in the future.

Nothing when I book it say breakfast was included when down stairs the lady in the restaurant say no free breakfast the restaurant open at seven I was on the 4 floor I needed some ice to put on my foot because I sprain my foot I had to go on the second floor to get ice please keep in mind that I was in a lot of pain i will never stay there Again I will never recommend

It was pathetic, they changed me to another room saying for safety they were moving but the other room was horrible as the bathroom water was clogged while taking shower and feeling like yuck to be in the dirty water and showering

Do not stay at this hotel!!!! They are undergoing a major renovation to the entire property that they did not disclose. It is very old, worn, dirty, and NOISY with construction all day into the evening. Housekeeping is non existent and a/c units emitting black dust. It was completely awful in every way! No one should stay here!

I didn’t like all the construction on the outside of the building.

Comfortable bed

They did email and say that they were doing some construction but it was way worse than I anticipated and parking was a nightmare. Especially traveling by myself and having to park quite a ways from the entrance to the hotel when coming in after dark was disturbing. The staff in the front was very lovely and check-in was easy but I was not pleased with the construction piece of this.

On my reservation it states breakfast for 2 included, when I asked where it was at the front desk I was told it was not included..... Water pressure in shower was very low, could hardly shower....

Room was clean. Bed and bedding were acceptable. Property is a bit long in the tooth. Water smelled like sulfur.

My two young adults arrived late but check-in was pleasing. Although booked through Orbitz in my name, I was allowed to add my son and daughters names to the reservation. I was happy about that because I was not a part of the overnight stay.

The staff was very kind.

Construction arundel

This was my second and last stay here. My patio light was out, when I tried to call the front desk from the living room area, the phone cord came out the socket on the phone. It was broken, I called about my light from my room and was told maintenence would come the next day to change the bulb, they did not come and fix the bulb. As I was talking to Aubrey on the phone, she was laughing. On my second morning there, I took a cold shower, the water did not warm up. I travel a lot for work and this was my worst experience so far.
