Very friendly staff

Room was very nice we stayed in a double queen room. We stayed 2 nights for a dance competition. The lobby is very spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we called down for extra towels the second night, and asked for a bellcart when we were leaving, they were very quick bringing them up to us. The bed was comfortable. Lots of lights in the room! Even a dim one on the side of the bed I could leave on as a nightlight for my youngest. Also a major plus for me the pillows did not "deflate" when you lay on them. They actually were good quality pillows. Things we didn't like... The parking ramp is not attached to the hotel you have to go outside and walk next door down the sidewalk to get to the main entrance to the hotel. Because we spend all day at dance competitions we pack food. The fridge was so tiny I couldn't even fit all the food I brought in it. Had to fill up bags of ice to put in my coolers. There was no microwave in the room. The pool was cold and very small.

We got a 1 bedroom suite. The tv in the living room didnt work. Fit our needs for monster jam!

Very convenient location. Very friendly staff. Thie was my 2nd stay and i will cintinuee to choose this location when visiting Minneapolis.

The hotel being so close to the light rail makes it a great option for those looking to travel to the U of M campus. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and very good showers.

Great plxe to stay

It was great access to the stadium for the game. There was plenty of food and drinks around the hotel within walking distance which made our stay easy.

In my 3 night stay everything was great except there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and there was drainage issue with the wash basin. That’s why reducing a star.

Wedding adventure

Staff was great. We were there for a wedding and enjoyed every minute. Rooms were spacious for doing all the pre wedding preparations. Lots of spots to take pictures.

So close to all the sporting events we attended

Would most definitely recommend this to any traveller.

Luggage cart shortage

5th time in three years we have stayed here while my daughter was in law school. Loved everything every time. In moving her back home this trip we drove into the entrance with 5 LARGE suitcases. No luggage carriers were in the lobby. When I asked forward a de help finding one or getting someone to help the 2 of us with them, I was basically told sorry you are out of luck. We got them out of the car, into the lobby, not easy, so I decided to ask another clerk. She was a sweet girl and helped us to our room. You need more luggage carts and/or accommodating clerks. If it was my first stay I would not come back. That said our room had a lovely view. And otherwise our stay was good.

Our stay was very pleasant! Great location but will say hotel parking was out difficult and expensive. More than $20 per day with no other option.

As a female traveler by herself this hotel was not a good choice as I did not feel safe walking to/from US Bank

The front desk was kind and professional but the service in the bar was horrible. We stayed for 2 nights and the first night we attempted to eat at the bar and have a few drinks. My husband and daughter

Bit of a confusing location to get to. Parking garage was convenient and easy to use. Close to alot of bars and restaurants and a pretty quick walk to US bank stadium. Hotel and room with both clean and fairly modern. The beds were comfy and spacious. Staff were pleasent!

Overall nice stay and decent rooms....I little noisy and connection slow if using tv apps videos don't load

Property was nice . My biggest problem it wasn't Cleaned the second night i staid. When I complained, The front desk told me, I’m sorry, you have to request for your room to be cleaned! Do you need someore towels? It also depends if we have enough staff. This is ridiculous! I was in room 706, April 18 & 19. Marriotts policy should be posted!

Overall good

Overall pretty good. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Elevator from the parking ramp did not work. It was a busy Saturday and we had to park on the top level and take the stairs all the way down to ground level to enter the hotel. When leaving Sunday morning we had to do the same...Walk up to the top level from ground level to get back to our vehicle. Then the ticket gate/exit arm bar, etc. was not working and it took almost 15 minutes to get out of the ramp because of the line of vehicles leaving at the same time. Annoying. Great location though for an event night at US Bank Stadium downtown. Felt safe.

Property was good, booked a king thru Expedia, they gave us double bed, inquired and was told since we booked thru Expedia, they were sold out at that time and that’s what we get. My buddy booked a king 3 weeks after me directly with them and he got what he booked. Poor business practice, don’t lie or don’t work with 3rd party bookings.

Food was great and the service was great!

It would have been helpful to know that the pool is very shallow - no diving and is small. Good for children but not adults. Fitness room was nice with a good view. Room was average. Disliked that things like the body wash, tissues were almost empty and not refilled. Lastly wish that the parking garage connected directly to the hotel so that you didn’t have to go outside to get to the garage.

Asked for extra blanket and pillow waited for over an hour and never received them. When leaving parking garage it charged my card twice. Yes i did go in to inform them of tnis and receptionist seemed annoyed. Hotel would have only charged me $25 on my card but the garage charged me $36 and i only got reimbursed for $25. This process aloso took a long time to do

Was a good stay, parking wasn’t too bad. Liked how close it was to the highway and downtown.

Hotel is fine. Parking was easy. Clean room. Smaller bathroom. The pool is tiny tho. Do not bring kids and expect them to have a good time there.

Disappointed

The “fast” wifi is not fast at all. Sometimes it would lag and not load up a website. The hotel seems very old by just looking at the heating unit, they just replaced the furnitures. You can hear all the noises in the hallway clearly in the rooms. The shampoo conditioner, and body washes are not locked, so people could put something in there. Overall, this hotel seems nice, but it really isn’t.

I am a self proclaimed hotel snob. My family stayed here when we went to a Vikings game. The property is very clean, smelled great, and well maintained, the staff was very friendly, and it is so convenient for walking to the stadium. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, restful stay, even on football weekend.

Nice and Clean but watch the shower head!

Folks at this location were very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Use caution when turning the shower on - the shower head was pointed right at me when I reached in to turn it on and the jets were turned to hard pulsate so my face got pummeled. Other than that super clean and comfortable.

Too noisy with drunk Bears fans screaming at 3:00 am

Over all a nice place to stay. There was garbage on our bathroom floor from the previous occupant (?), the best weren’t the most comfortable, kinda springy. The kids really enjoyed the pool area which is small but they could all touch, 4ft is the deepest.

This Hotel is the Perfect Spot to stay for a Viking Football Game, Easy Walk to the Stadium, Many Dining Options Nearby, Staff and Hotel are Wonderful.

Disappointment

My reservation was for 2 queen beds but was given a king bed and a couch. When I tried to have them correct the mistake, I was told there was nothing they could do to help.

Close to US Bank stadium

The hotel staff were welcoming and allowed us to check in earlier than 3pm. Check in. We were there for NFL football game and everything was in walking distance. Will definitely stay here again

Only had flimsy paper cups in the room, got glasses from the bar on day 2 of our stay.

I gave a poor rating to the facility only because we booked a handicapped accessible room for my husband, who uses a walker. Although the bathroom was large, it was in no way accessibly for a handicapped person. It was a BATHTUB, for goodness sake, impossible to climb over, no rubber mat even if one managed to climb, no bars inside or outside the bathing area. The room should NOT have been rated handicap accessible.

Nice hotel, very convenient for our leisure travel plans. Would have liked to have a microwave in the room, but that's just a "quibble".

Easy entry and exit to highway

The hotel was very nice and had a nice bar/dining area. Would be nice for dining hours to be expanded. The hotel was nice but the area around is questionable. We did walk around and didn’t have any issues but it doesn’t look very good.

Liked the cleanliness and atmosphere

Staff was so friendly and helpful! So clean and everything was in working order. We lucked out and were provided a room with a fantastic view of stadium and downtown skyline. Also really like the ease of parking while checking in/out and loading vehicle and the easily accessible parking. This was awesome!

We had a ten day stay that was for UofM orientation and drop off. The hotel lobby was good, smelled nice. The room was a little outdated. The worst part of it was that we were given a room next to the housekeeping room. So at 8 o’clock in the morning, the housekeepers would be banging doors and equipment and speaking loudly. The other thing is that they only do every other day housekeeping. When you have three people in one room, you need more than that. We used earplugs every night. Also, the air-conditioning unit was extremely loud.
