The place just wasn’t what the pictures looked like. We had a room with double beds and the beds were small. Carpet looked dirty. Parking was difficult to find if you didn’t pay the expensive valet parking fees. It was just ok…. I wouldn’t go back.

Liked location and walkable access to great variety of area businesses. Liked friendliness of hotel staff. Disliked dirty towels, stained carpet, broken equipment and shortage of supplies at food service.

Fantastic facility! We had a superb room, with a separate bedroom and livingroom! Quiet. Excellent service both at the front desk and the valet!

Parking is restricted to valet at $31 per night. Be aware. No other parking options. Breakfast is included, although only 2 per room, and be prepared to wait a very long time for your order. Rooms were clean. Reception service was very nice and welcoming. Don’t rely on anything past 10:00pm including local stores. They were out of pillows as well. Maybe a pillow shortage in town?

Perfectly Fine Hotel. Expensive Valet Parking.

This was a perfectly acceptable trip that generally met my expectations. As described below, parking was expensive and an unexpected expense. Parking was only available by valet and was expensive at between $33-$36 per night. Other potential customers should be advised on this expense. Self-parking is available at Downtown Dadeland about 2 clocks away for only $9 for 12 hours.

The location was great, staff were super friendly and the property was very clean and comfortable. The only headache was the parking at times. The hotel only offers valet parking and sometimes it was super busy. Guests coming back all at the same time and longer wait times to get your car back. Not the hotels fault though! I would stay again.

BE CAREFUL!! MY SON CHECKED IN 1 DAY LATE TRAVELING TO MY HOME. I PREPAID THE ENTIRE BOOKING. THEY CANCELLED IT, KEPT ALL OF MY MONEY AND I HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER ROOM FOR HIM. TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!!

The first thing we noticed upon going to our room was the carpeting stained, and not just a little, but a lot. The floors in the common areas and the elevator (all tile) were very dirty, and there was a blood stain on the elevator button panel. One elevator would not work, and we mentioned it to staff the first time we noticed it. The next day, we assumed it would've been repaired, but it was still not working. The room itself didn't bode much better. The tub's fixtures were corroded and looked dirty. The safety handle in the shower was partially broken and the broken piece just hung from it. The toilet ran. The silver lining was that the beds were very comfortable and the staff was nice. We had stayed in a different Courtyard by Marriott just a week before in Port St Lucie and were very impressed, so thought we'd stick with the brand, but this location was a complete let down.

The hotel was nice. It wasn't dirty but could use some upkeep. There were only valet available no other parking options at the hotel. Everything around the hotel was meter paid. Lots of shops and eating places in walking distance that were nice but also high priced.

Besides charging $26/day for valet parking, service was extremely slow and annoying, were told that some of the hotel guests were VIP and only parking space for checking in and out/valet was occupied secret service/security people 24/7...... waited >30 min at one time to get our car

It was a not so great experience. The room had a musty and stale odor. The carpet was pretty worn. Overall it was a very basic and not a good value for what I paid. Perhaps if they room was a little more accommodating with cleanliness.

Hotel staff very friendly and location is great except for parking. Must use hotel valet service so add on $30/night with tip. Valet gets busy and I often had to wait a while for valet to take my car or bring it to me. Pool patio area could use better cleaning. Not up to typical Marriott standards but still decent.

I stayed with my family and everithing at the front desk and Valet parquing was great. One day we enter to our room and it was not done. My kids were on white socks all the time in the room, and they were completely dirty after a while walking on the carpet. But the service at the bistro was great and the people who attended us were all the time very kind.

We took the road with my wife to drop some friends. We drove nonstop 12 hours and hoping to get some rest but unfortunately we had a very noisy people around our room with loud music,screaming and talking load after midnight and on top of that we had an overcharge for parking $82 for 12 hours stay. Absolutely ridiculous and not nice relax night! Very disappointed

It was a rocky start as I had booked on Expedia the Marriott Dadeland not Courtyard marriott but they placed us at Courtyard and I never realized until we arrived at Dadeland and were told no reservations. Very dishonest of Expedia. HOWEVER, the comfort cleanliness and THE STAFF made up for my rage. The staff there are exceptional truly helpful friendly and efficient. The cost of food though is shocking so could not support as much as I would have liked to.

I love the location the property. I did not like the furniture in the rooms. The couch and chairs had stains on it and really need to be cleaned or replaced. Also in the advertising it states that the room had 1 king bed and 1 queen sofa bed. That is not the case. The sofa bed is a twin bed. I was not pleased at all with this because it was misleading.

My family (3 adults 1 toddler) and I just returned from a stay at the Courtyard Marriott. It was less than impressive for Marriot's standards. There were a few things that really irked me: - Although the Expedia site says valet parking is optional, there is no option for self parking (unless you park on the street). Valet parking is US$26 per day, which feels steep considering it's the only option. - It might be helpful to also note there is a US$5 charge PER package received (the first two packages are no charge). This is not stated on the listing either. - There is no safe in the room, however there is a safe deposit box in the lobby at no extra cost (but don't lose the key because that of course comes with a charge). - US$150 deposit required on check in. On the pros: - There is a little bistro in the lobby that serves great coffee (Starbucks) - The staff were really friendly - The area is very walkable. There are lots of little cafes and restaurants in the area. Publix is right behind the hotel, which is great for picking up bottled water and essentials. - Dadeland Mall is right across the street (walkable). Honestly, if you're comparing other properties in the area, the Hampton Inn is a better option. The price was similar (a little less), no charges for packages, two queen beds (not doubles at Courtyard Marriott), free breakfast / coffee and tea station and free self parking. Plus right across from Target.

Location was great. Very walkable area. About a 5 minute walk to Dadeland mall. Publix is right next door also. Inside the hotel, the room was just average for the price but fine. The bed was super hard for me. The air conditioning was very loud so l had to turn that off. I question the cleaning as there was a piece of tape randomly stuck to the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom had a faint mildew smell in sink area. The hotel did accomodate all my special requests...microwave, fridge, extra blanket. There is a small bistro in the hotel for food options with Starbucks coffee. Pool is small but it works. Staff is very friendly. Overall good option for location. Most reasonable in area.

There was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling in the shower which made me sick I made the front desk know even called to follow up and they basically told me I was wrong. Disappointed with the marriott expected better.

Bathtub was slippery and very narrow. Took a very painful fall. No matt in tub. Staff was nice but still in a lot of pain from fall. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

No water in rooms. I had to walk down to front desk to get some water for coffee. TV options are narrow. As a Marriott disappointed I have to got thru this so far not good. I paid 29.00 for valet and service is terrible, weather now is cold and room has no heater. Marriott should be aware of this situation for us guest.
