Great staff and great location!

By far the rudest Marriott I have ever stayed at. They denied me my Bonvoy benefits because I had booked the hotel and all the others through Expedia. I asked for the manager who told me that he was wasting his time and I should discuss with my broker. Staff was most interested in not working.

Did not care for location, to far to walk anywhere, but there was really not much to see any how. The brunch was more like a lunch, very little breakfast items.

Great hotel to stay at in Merida. Hotel is in good condition, staff is very friendly, and located in an area with a lot of restaurants, bars, and sights close by. Rooftop pool and restaurant offer a great view of Merida

Well located near Paseo Montejo with easy access to downtown via uber/taxi/bus. Great staff, excellent breakfast buffer, very comfy rooms.

The property was great. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. The rooftop pool views were amazing at sunset. Not too far from el centro. But i wouldn't walk in that humidity during the day. Ubers are a cheap option. 3-4 dollars for the trip. I would stay again. Night time bartender girl was super friendly and always made me feel at home. Cant remember her name, but thank you for your hospitality.

Location was far from city centre. However, the hotel was extremely clean, staff was very friendly and kind. It was worth it.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean we had AC and the bed was very comfortable. They even provided towels for the beach you just have to ask and sign a paper at the reception desk. Parking was nice and easy. It’s walkable to Maseo de Montejo. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this place. We even extended another night.

Personnel was excellent in every area: reception, restaurant, and maintenance.

Very Pleasantly Surprised

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Courtyard. It has a good restaurant with decent staff; a great breakfast, although expensive for Mexican standards. Our room was great. The bathroom was large, the room well laid out, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 717 and sacrificed a view for quietness. Right off of Montejo, the main drag in Merida, this hotel is well located. Self-parking with an elevator that takes you right to the parking/your floor; very convenient. Very decent gym, as well. I've stayed at 4-5 Marriott Courtyards in the last year, primarily in Florida, and this is by far the nicest one. It's more at a Sheraton or even Hilton level. Staff is attentive but not hovering. Overall, a great place to stay. And visit La Pigua, a moderately-priced seafood joint within walking distance of the hotel. Also try Spasso, an Italian restaurant at the Hyatt a block away. Pricey for Mexico, but not for the quality of food and considerign it's in a hotel.

Construction happening right above our room made resting challenging. The wooden walk way around the pool needs attention as I felt I would fall through. Food from the restaurant on site not exceptional for the price although the buffet was pretty good. Staff at check-in could use a little help but the other staff were very helpful.

It’s always a great experience when I stay at Courtyard. Everyone is kind and very professional, from Fernanda at reception, to Carlos at concierge. I’ve tried other hotels and airbnb’s but always come back to this hotel!

Mold and mildew in the room. Poor quality linens. Moist feel to bedding. No tissues in room. No bath soap in room. Not enough towels in room.

Came to Merida for the first time on vacation with my husband and 17 year old son. The location was perfect if you don’t mind walking the city center is about 3miles round trip. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

There's nothing that comes to mind that was bad about my stay. The staff was exceptionally helpful, polite, and sincere. The facilities were kept clean and organized, and there wasn't anything that I felt was lacking. The restaurant in the lobby had an amazing breakfast buffet that has really raised the bar as to what a breakfast offering could look like. It is located in a fairly easily traveled location, and there was no issue getting a taxi in the courtyard or requesting an uber. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great property and awesome swimming pool with towels and open at night. Fast check-in. This hotel, given the category it bears and its prices, must improve bathroom amenities and the cleaning process at the rooms.

Nuestra estadía fue excelente. Llegamos temprano por un cambio de vuelo y aún así nos permitieron el acceso a la habitación sin ningún problema. El staff está siempre para ayudar de la mejor manera. El hotel y la habitación limpios y confortables, todo muy bien. La comida bien aunque podría haber más opciones de platillos. No está cerca del centro por lo cual hay que caminar un poco o tomar transporte para llegar ahí pero no fue un inconveniente para nosotros. Definitivamente volveremos; aunque el clima no ayudó mucho ésta vez (40 - 42 grados C) la ciudad es linda y la gente muy amable.

Only one small bottle of water for 2 people. Took more than an hour to deliver more bottles and wanted to charge 50 pesos per bottle! Staff couldn’t care less and explained it was their standard. Had to get dress and leave to get water at night. At this price point, basic essentials shouldn’t be nickel and dimed. This will be my last stay at a Marriott.

Excellent option in Merida. Modern, clean, and excellent service. We would stay there again.

The hotel common areas are nice with some beautiful architecture in the center courtyard. The rooms are mostly comfortable, although the bed was pretty hard and the ac was loud. We had dinner and breakfast there. Both were very disorganized - the hotel was extremely busy and understaffed, so we ended up waiting a lot on our orders and checks. Breakfast was expensive ($330 Mex per person) and not very good, although we appreciated the omelette station.

Highly recommend this property. Staff was great, onsite restuarant great, valet parking great, room great. Price was very reasonable and location wonderful.

Clean room, nice design, helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant with wonderful Buffay breakfast, especially brunch on Sunday, located in a nice area, able to walk to downtown Cathedral area and shopping. Extremely pleased with this hotel! 😊

Our stay was great. The only problem was the people at the front desk were not very knowledgeable about the city. Before going to Mérida I called from us to see how we could get from Mérida to Cancun. The front desk clerks had no idea. I called Hilton where a part of our family stayed at, they had suggestions and recommendations. More education needed.

The service in the restaurant was unbelievable. Everyone so attentive. Highly recommended

It was the restaurant staff that made my stay so memorable..Manuel in the bar and restaurant is an extraordinary proffesional and he was the reason I chose to stay at this hotel. He had served me at the bar on a past visit and his service encoraged me to stay at this visit. He met my every need. Isabel the morning hostess was always ready with a smile and a friendly word. She is a real joy..Ishmael went above and beyond in his service.. So for these 3 proffesionals, I say take a bow, and take another..job well done!

The bartender on duty that night in the lobby was rude and condescending. Also brought up the desserts that I ordered to our room 502 and was rude again. Not sure what his problem was. Otherwise great hotel and great staff

Clean, good food, quiet, and courteous staff. When asking for help with transportation I felt we were taken advantage of regarding pricing. Hotel got us a van taxi to the beach for 650 pesos. We had a restaurant worker at the beach help us get a van taxi back to the hotel. It only cost 300 pesos.

Some loud noises at night were heard outside from our room which disrupted sleep but otherwise the stay was perfect

Absolutely perfect

I can say nothing but good things about this hotel and it's amazing staff, especially Carlos who is a skilled concierge disguised as a bellhop. The location begs for daily walks in different directions just to explore the neighborhoods.

Average stay

The hotel is new, but the shower already has mold, the towels are of poor quality and thin, there was no coffee available in the room, the breakfast buffet looks reheated and very plain definitely overpriced. The wifi was spotty. The location is good. The beds are comfortable. Check in was easy.

I really like this property. I rotate between the Renaissance and this property depending on whether I want to enjoy close fine dining options in Mérida. This time the waitstaff in the restaurant were not communicating well. We were asks for our room number multiple times, no one brought us a ticket bc I’m not sure they established who was waiting on. When we started to leave a waiter ran over acting as though we were sneaking out without paying. It was awkward and very unnecessary.

We loved the property! The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is great as well.

Great is wonderful, close to main attractions and at the same time, not in the center of all the noise. Facilities are great, very busy hotel right across from Convention Center. Only improvement I would recommend is either putting a door for the shower or providing more towels for the floor. An excessive amount of water ends up on the bathroom floor after you take a shower as the shower has no door. Other than that, would go back again.

Except for food, everything was good. Food level is unbelievably bad. Five of us had a meeting over lunch, even a typical Mexican dish was hard to eat. To improve to a street-level cafe woud give so much more to this hotel.

The staff is truly remarkable...everyone is there to go the extra mile to make any request possible, from setting up a driver for a tour to lending a cooler to go to the beach...you name it they will get it done. The food is good, the rooftop with a pool really cool...i recommend this hotel!!

Perfect stay!

Amazing hotel, great service and central location. The rooms are really modern and comfy, the fitness center is excellent, and the pool and rooftop are the best ones in town.

The property is new & immaculate. All staff were friendly & very helpful. Enjoyed talking with them learning about their experiences & getting their suggestions for attractions in the area.

The room was very big and modern. I don't like there wasn't a lot of places to eat that was walking distance.
