The airconditioning not cool enough

But the FOOD was Horrible. The worst I ever had in Breakfast Buffet in any Hotel. Very very Disappointed. Didn't expect this from a Marriot Hotel.

The location is safe and not crowded. The Festive Walk Mall is a walking distance. We stayed during the Dinagyang Festival so the hotel’s atmosphere was very energetic! There was was live music at the dining areas. The pool area is relaxing and there was a dj spinning some cool tunes in the late afternoon to early evening. I will highly recommend staying at The Courtyard Marriott during this time of year.

Felt very safe, lots of shopping options. Hotel a la cart dining was terrible though, but their buffet was good. Walking distance to starbucks, 7-eleven, and festive walk shopping mall. Great Gold's Gym less than a 5 minute walk away too.

The best accommodation

It was my first time again coming home to Iloilo Philippines after almost 7 years overseas. We were so tired from our travel and they allowed us for an early check in. We booked the junior suite room and we were amazed how big, clean and comfortable the room was. Modern room with spacious bathrooms. The only downside was the pillowcase was not changed from the previous user which was dealt with immediately, this did not affect my ratings. We have been to several countries and tried different accommodations but this by far offered the best room. Staff were also amazing and very helpful from the front desk as well as the guard in the main entrance who was very helpful. Will definitely stay in this hotel when I go back to Iloilo.

Hectic by always good

Always consistently professional in the approach. Sometimes wonder if there is a shortage of staff in the bar/restaurant as was extremely hectic. Room wonderful with top quality bathroom.

Upon arrival at the hotel from an international flight, reception area looks very small (Expedia pictures looks inviting but I was disappointed upon arrival) and it looks crowded for January 2025 and the hotel did not smell well with good scents. They need a stronger diffuser with a welcoming scent at least. Reception staff are ok they need more thorough customer service training. Basement parking is very small too.

Pajamas in the restaurant.

The room was cleaned everyday. It was really comfortable. The lobby was also clean and well decorated appropriate for the festivities. The downside was the restaurant and the coffee shop. The waiting time to get the order was terrible. I noticed that a lot of customers were having the same problem too. The waiters/bartenders need to trained more to get better on time management. At the restaurant, especially during breakfast, I saw some guests wearing pajamas. It was really degrading to see people dress inappropriately in a restaurant, more so in a 4 star hotels like Marriott. The management needs to implement a dress code in the restaurant at least say "No Pajamas" or "swimsuit" allowed in the restaurant, which I think would be reasonable and appropriate.

Stay at Iloilo

Staff at the hotel were amazing, incredibly helpful, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. House keeping checked in every day of our stay and when we were out we would come back to a pristine, organized room with everything freshened up and little notes to make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was beautiful, clean and lots of variety. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to any requests. Reception was knowledgeable and was able to offer suggestions on where to go in the area to locate items we needed since my bag went missing. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely highly recommend staying here.

I stayed on this property for 8 days while in Iloilo and the best service I have ever had in life. The staff is so welcoming and was very attentive to every need I had. Great location! So many good shopping and eateries!

Had a great stay in Marriott. The receptionist allowed me to check in early as the toom is already available. Good breakfast selection. The hotel even emailed me for the blouse I left in the room. Super appreciate it.

Stayed for 2 nights with my young son and had a very good experience overall. The rooms are also very spacious and the service staff I encountered were all excellent.

I highly recommend this Hotel,The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service❤️❤️ this was our second time here at this hotel! And we’re lovin it!

One of the best 5 star hotels we have stayed on. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We checked in and checked out so smoothly. Our room was very clean, very comfortable and well maintained. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and the buffet & ala carte at night. But most of all the Concierge, Robwen Clyde, who made all the arrangements with our transportation needs during our entire stay for 3 days. He went beyond expectation. The hotel must be lucky to have him as member of their staff. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A quiet place to relax, but at close proximity to malls, restaurants, and right next door to the Convention Centre.

I love the lunch and breakfast buffet. It’s definitely worth what paid for. Our Ala cart orders didn’t work out very well and I returned a dish. My kiddos enjoyed the pool. The bed is very very comfortable. Staff very accommodating with our requests for a pack and play, 2 extra pillows. Yes, I’d stay here again. FYI, the room we stayed in didn’t have frosted glass and you could see through the blinds when another person is using the toilet and taking a bath. Something to consider.

Pretty, comfy and yum

Our stay in the Marriott was very enjoyable. The beds of course were super comfortable. The bathroom was big and the shower was great with excellent pressure. I am not sure about the blind with the big window that makes you feel a little bit exposed in the bathroom. In general we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool area was great but the pool was a little bit cold. You would love staying there.

Our stay at Courtyard Marriott was awesome! The staff were friendly and helpful! The concierge was very supportive in arranging our daily trips. We were entertained during the Chinese New Year celebration during our stay. They served a variety of good food in their breakfast buffet! Staying in this hotel provided us with excellent service and comfortable accommodation!!!

The staff was amazing. Checking in and checking out was easy and fast. The staff every where was friendly and always had a smile. The breakfast buffet was good. The Friday seafood buffet was a disappointment. Selection was slim and out of allot of things. But it was festival and crowded so that might have been why. My new go to hotel in Iloilo.

My family loves staying in Courtyard Marriot. The staff are wonderful, friendly and ready to help. The hotel is clean and our room, spacious. I just wished that the partition between the shower and the room is covered properly, not just a venetian blind outside the shower.

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. The only issue was the convention center next door was having band practice from midnight to 3:00am.

Had a very nice relaxing visit, very quiet in general except for last morning as at 7 am bang, bang, next door kids woke us up! besides that really like this hotel and their service..

Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo has given my friends and I the best possible service any establishment could have given us. From the thoroughness of their cleaning and tidying, to the prompt and warm service of their staff, to the quality of their dining, I am extremely pleased with my stay, and look forward to a future return.

There’s no insulation inside the hotel. You can hear everybody running around especially opening their doors.

The pool bar being open only on weekends was a disappointment. Was there on vacation and found it odd that this standard amenity was not available during the week. It would be nice to also have lounge umbrellas. It's a shame that the rooftop pool area was not optimized for guests

Property was modern and very clean. Breakfast food options were great. Servers need to be more consistent. A few times plates piled up before someone came to take them away. Also, if you are in house keeping take note of the number of people in the room. Three guests = 3 towels/ hand towels, etc. not 2 of each.

I love to come back to this hotel.

The wait service at the Resto /bar was terrible. Long wait and waiter seemed To be untrained. We order burger but unavailable per waiter but we’ve seen few burger orders coming out the kitchen. Very poor customer service and the Manager gave special treatment to his friends. The bathroom Commode not flushing properly and almost backing up. the bathroom sink clogged on our last day of stay. Poorly managed property.

I stayed for 7 days with my sons for a short vacation. The hotel room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Room was spacious. The staff all over the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to some restaurants and shops. It was an amazing stay! I would come back and recommend it to friends.

Not a good stay

I was grossly overcharged for one night visit which tied up my credit card that is not good. When you’re traveling overseas I got food poisoning and was very sick and had to stay one more night because I was so weak.

Excellent as always

Have been here many times in Iloilo and as of late 11/15/22 visit the management seems to have changed for the worse lack of attention from them to customers, cut back in room necessities, etc, after last visit will try other hotel in area next time and will not be the Richmonde as same owner.

No doubt that it’s a very nice hotel. The only inconvenience is the limited transportation and that it is far from restaurants and entertainment.

We Booked at Marriot because it has 4.6 rating. We have arrived at the property… there was an X-ray Scanner… “Confused”. Went to Registration. Got checked In. Went to our room 1114 there was someone else suit case and stuff in there. That was pretty scary… and very unsafe. Then we went order iCe never got it we got it ourselves. 3-4 hours later. Service staff in Dining and Bar were very picking… if it’s a foreigner or dressed up individual they would give them more attention… Sad. Also we ordered another Dish never came… no one came to our Table to get our order, we have to flag down the waiter, no one said to us the food we ordered was unavailable… Also, asked the security guy… wondering and curious why they have a Luggage Scanner… the “security guy says we are Marriots and “An American company”… didn’t elaborate… more confused… I have been and booked at other Marriots location in U.S. never saw a luggage Scanner.. Very Ironic… Luggage check… however we can get another persons room… scary. Staff was very picking with who they would cater to. Sad.. We are well traveled sometimes we would experience it However… Didn’t except to have this experience at Marriots Hotel.
