Excellent Hotel!

I didn't expect this hotel to be as elegant as it was. When I walked into the lobby, I thought I was in a luxury hotel. It was nicely decorated, had a great little bar area and offered a nice snack/dinner menu. The loaded tots are amazing by the way. The room was just as nice as the lobby area. I would recommend this hotel. The price for what you get was almost too good to be true. We stayed New Year's Eve night and only paid $120 for the room. I would have expected at least double for as nice as it was.

Everything was great at the property, only issue I had was the ac was loud, sounded like it was ready to give out made it a little hard to fall asleep, but after a few drinks the sound didn’t bother me much

No mirrors in the room made it difficult to get ready . We were there for a wedding and only mirror was inside the bathroom door , which could only be used from inside when the door was closed.

The room was very stinky, I would definitely not choose to stay here again!

It was a good stay but the toliet stopped flushing and when I called they said they would send someone on the last day and never did.

Horrible Place

The hotel is depressing. The photos are misleading. The carpet is si old and dirty looking. The lightning was horrible. The room was super small. The furniture us out dated. There was a homeless person whi appeared ti be on drugs outside. I would definitely not recommend.

Amazing Stay

I had such a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Marriott in the Pearland Towncenter! The front desk staff was absolutely amazing hands down!!! They were extremely courteous and kind! They were very informative about our stay and very welcoming anytime we had a question. The room was very nice, clean as well as cozy! The sofa bed was not comfortable at all and needs to be upgraded. The bed could have been more comfortable and there was a not such a pleasant smell on my pill. It may have been the detergent that was used to wash the lien. The decor in the lobby was absolutely amazing for Christmas and the Bistro was very nice and intimate. There was an area right outside of the Bistro were you could plug your electrics such as laptops, tables, cellular devices etc. My family and I sat in that area for a little while and enjoyed the ambience! There was a beautiful Christmas festival that was going on in the town center that we attended, and I love the fact that when you walk out of the hotel, you are right in the town center. We had dinner and were able to shop and did not have to drive because we were in the center of the attractions. The outside terrace was very nice as well. Very peaceful and tranquil! I highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay, to choose the Courtyard Marriott in the Pearland Town Center!

Paper thin wall were bad enough, mechanical banging noises woke me up every night at 4a and kept going both nights of my stay.

The hotel was very nice

When in town we book here for the convenience of having access to shops and restaurants but the property itself is goong down. It definitely need some work and upgrades. I hope the owner sees this and invest in his property. Its time for a facelift.

Took the 3rd room transfer and last night of stay before finding a room without a “basement” type odor. The second room had ants crawling as well. However, we were given a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience.

The property canceled our reservation and rebooked our room to someone else. We had a confirmation and proof of who we spoke to for the reservation and they canceled it anyway. Very disappointed in the service despite being a bonvoy member. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

How close to shopping and eatery

Chose this hotel after being cancelled by a different one just 1 week prior to my stay. Didn't know anything about the area. I was not disappointed! Everything we needed that night was a mile or less from the hotel and we just scratched the surface. I require a feather free room due to allergies and it was an easy accommodation. Staff was wonderful from my first phone call through check out. Would definitely stay here again!

Had an excellent stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was as nice and accommodating as can be, the cafe had a good variety of food and drinks and it was situated within walking distance to a variety of retail stores. Definitely recommend and definitely will stay there again.

We were in room 521. The toilet did not work the entire time we were there. A very nice maintenance worker was unable to fix it. The toilets are OLD.

Part of an outside mall with shops and restaurants. Very walkable. We had an issue on the last night of our stay which the hotel couldn’t fix and didn’t compensate for the issue. Expected better from a name brand hotel.

My room type was changed without notification. Told the hotel wasn't responsible for 3rd party bookings

The room had a dingy musty smell as soon as you open the door. I moved one of the night stand a tiny bit so I could reach a plug and there was so much dust, you could tell they had not vacuumed those corners in a very long time. The elevator was not working and when we would ask the attendant she would just say she didn’t know anything so just take the stairs. She failed to tell us that one set of stairs led you out to an alley in the direction of another building and to get back in to the hotel would require you going all the way back around because there was no reentry.

I love staying here for the weekend just to relax and have a nice time.

Rude receptionist

The stay was excellent as usual. But the night of check-in, on Wed. Feb 14th, the receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I traveled late and checked in about 11pm. I was asked how I was let in, and I said one of the guests allowed us to come up with him. I advised the male receptionist that I had called hotel front desk, and he said 'no you didn't, I didn't get any phone calls. I ignored his comment. I then asked for if they had complimentary water, he responded "no we don't do that". I mentioned, we have gotten complimentary small water bottles in past stays, and he said in an argumentative manner "no you haven't, we've never done that". At this point, I was baffled and tired, that I didn't feel like arguing with him, so I just took my key and told him to have a good night. There was no response. This is the first time I have a bad experience with customer service at this hotel. Everyone is usually pleasant and professional, no matter the check in time. I know Marriott hotels have high standards and this employee is not the representation of the services Marriott strives to provide. I hope you can provide education and counseling on this employee. Thank you

Paper thin walls (you can hear everything from surrounding rooms), loud refrigerators, poor facility upgrades. The bed was comfy. A nice shopping center is in walking distance.

i booked 2 nights at this property, after realizing that due to a later than expected arrival due to a change in my flight, i called the hotel to advise them that i would be arriving on thursday morning as opposed to Wednesday. i did this specifically because i did not want my reservation to be cancelled and also when i arrived i needed a few hours sleep before a meeting. to my dismay upon arrival my room was not available as they had re sold my room. when i advised of the steps i took to avoid this i was told to take it up with expedia. this sums up my experience at the marriot pearland, uncaring........

All was good. My only complaint was there were times where the shower water was very hot or lukewarm, on the way to cold. Other than that, my stay was sufficient. I would stay again.

Room was not cleaned two of the nine days, and barely cleaned on the other days. Elevator was out one whole day. Water in faucet was a trickle.

Stay was alright, spent 3 nights and didn’t receive any room service, obtained my own towels at request and the hotel is a bistro so breakfast is not included, but it was lovely decorated for the holidays and the front desk was helpful and accommodating.

Rather run-down hotel in a great area with a lot of shopping and restaurants. Hotel doesn’t match the surroundings. Carpets dirty, one (of two) elevators out of service one morning, A/C was loud & inefficient. There are better options close-by!

The staff here were truly amazing. I stayed the first night in room 509, there was a condensation issue with the AC and I was switched to room 513. The room was a little odory so we were moved to 411 I believe. Everytime the staff were very nice and very professional! The area was great the lobby was welcoming and clean! I would stay here again if I were to visit Houston.

I loved that this location was in the heart of Pearland's shopping center. It was so convenient to walk out of the hotel and be in the center of everything.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Only issues were slow elevator. No coffee cups and only decaf coffee. Front desk staff were helpful with the coffee issues. Great location for shopping and dining . Would definitely stay there again.

Just so-so

I've been to other Courtyards and expected the same, large flatscreen. Unfortunately, Pearland's Courtyard only had a small screen tv. Also, an old mask and a beer cap was found under the sofa, which did not leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling

The location was great, but we were very frustrated at the cleanliness of the hotel. The first room we were given had pubic hairs all over the toilet seat when we walked in, and the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. The second room we were moved to literally had black mold (I have pictures if you'd like me to provide them) going up the entire wall behind the headboard. There was mold growing so thickly from the fire sprinkler on that same wall that it was starting to clump. At that point we felt uncomfortable staying at the hotel and asked if we could just check out. Even though we had not spent even an hour at the hotel and had moved rooms multiple times, we were told that we could check out, but that the hotel would NOT refund ANY of the 4 night stay. As we couldn't afford to take a 4 night loss on a work trip, we were moved to a third room that although not clean (there was unwiped food smudges on the desk area, the remote control was sticky with what I'm assuming was food, and the fridge was not wiped down), it was better than the first two rooms and we just wiped everything down ourselves. We specifically chose this property because although it was more expensive than the hotels around it, we have always had nice stays at Marriott hotels. This was definitely not a typical Marriott. The housekeeper in all three rooms was someone named "Maritza" if that is of any interest. We are in the area frequently for work and will never stay here again.

More than amazing!

From the moment we walked in untill the moment we checked out, oir experience was most enjoyable. Aniyah, Annelisse, and Mary are all apart of the reason our stay was so great. They were so nice and accommodating throughout the whole process. They really went above and beyond their call of duty. I am going to make sure that on my next visit I stay at this hotel specifically.

Lobby was beautiful & property is very convenient to freeway & close to multiple dining options as well as grocery stores...

Rooms looked nice and like they were recently renovated. There is a light switch at the entrance of the room that kills the power in the outlets at the night stands not allowing a cell phone or any device to be plugged unless you read a very small print by the switch that is in a sticker about to fall off. Other than this, everything was good.

Warm water at best. Not enough hot water for a bath. Haven't seen a TV that small in a hotel since tube TV's. Fire alarm kept going off and had to evacuate twice in two days.

Overall, would recommend this hotel. The service at the front desk was excellent, the rooms are comfortable and the location is great. The plumbing is a bit outdated in the shower and we had some issues with upstairs noise but it is a hotel afterall. If that's all I can complain about, that's pretty good!

Our stay was excellent and the Staff was very friendly. Our television was going out and they replaced it with 55 inch. I, stay at the Marriott every year while in Houston, Texas.

We have been at this location a few times, always great stays

Had us sign a paper that we wouldn’t be noisey. We weren’t but there was a party no our floor that lasted till 430 in the morning. I would think that if you are going tall the trouble to have a guest sign a anti noise form you would at least patrol the property to in force your policy. Your rep at the desk when we checked out just said we should have called. Really?

I was given a handicapped room although I did not request one. After entering the room, it had a mildew smell. I found someone’s big toenail between the sheets, and two blood stains on the curtains. Thankfully, Brian was able to move me into another room. HOWEVER, although that room seemed a little cleaner than the previous one, there was still someone else’s hair in the showers and on the floors. The hallway on the 5th floor also smells like urine. The area is decent, this hotel is not. I will not be staying here again.
