Comfortable Stay. Poolside.

First floor rooms are set up around the hotels pool which is basically in an oversized lobby. The first floor rooms have patio doors facing the pool for quick access to the pool. If your staying in the hotel with kids, or just plan on swimming yourself, request a first floor room.

Great overall experience

We stayed one night in November arrived around 11:00 pm and was advised by the front desk clerk this was their last room. We found that the room assigned to us had water damage and appeared shotty workmanship to patch the bathroom ceiling over the bathtub caused mold and mildew. Mildew along the floor/baseboards and door frames. We advised the manager the next day and she was apologetic, but I reinstated this should not even have been assigned to a guest b/c of the mold and mildew. She was to comp our rooms through the Marriott Reward Program but have yet to see that. We have stayed at many Marriotts and never had we experienced this in the past. I have photos as well. Because it was booked through Expedia they could not refund the cost of the room $241.90. Very disaapointed and very upset that Marriott's night clerk assigned the room as such - that room should not have been open in their system until repairs and the mold/mildew issue was remedied.

I like the layout of the indoor pool as the main attraction with the rooms around it with balconies overlooking. My son definitely enjoyed it!

Paid for handicap access as my wife is disabled but was given a normal room that made it hard for her to shower and relax.

Great stay

Checkin was great and front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean although a bit outdated. Unfortunately it didnt have a full length mirror. But that wasnt a deal breaker. The bed was uber comfortable. Pool was a little cool for my taste but so much better than most hotel pools ive been in. I will say that there was no chlorine smell at all which made me wonder just how clean it was. The only issue i had was that when we went to check out, there was only a sign on the desk indicating that they were helping a guest and would return shortly. I waited about 10 minutes and noone ever came back. Overall, it was a good stay and i would consider staying there again.

Check in was lengthy even though I was the only customer. When I asked to get coffee, they informed me it was more than 7 hours old in the lobby. Bath tub also had multiple areas of mold.

The front desk and bar staff were phenomenal. They were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The barista my first night made great conversation and remembered who we were the next day (we had a lot of extended family in for a memorial). When the bar was overwhelmed with all of us the next morning, several people worked together to make sure everyone got what they needed. Even though some of the property was dated and needed some “touch ups,” I would definitely stay here again for the friendly and helpful service.

The staff member I spoke to was great. She was very friendly and willing to help in any way. The hotel was very old, and you could see it. The cleaning staff did the best they could, but when wallpaper is coming down, bubbling, or caulking is coming off in the shower, there is not much they can do. The carpet was stained by the bed, and the AC/Heat did not work well. The walls behind the ice machine were saturated and flaking off.

Order wings they were $18 for 9 small frozen wings. All other items they were out of. Key access didi not always work. Gym is dirty and missing equipment. Difficult to maintain temperature control in room.

The dinning option for breakfast is very convenient and the staff is friendly. Loved the pool as well. I wish the restrooms had a vent when u shower.

Staff was wonderful and pleasant. Our room had a funny mildew smell and the toilet seat was barely connected to the toilet. Our air conditioning unit made a funny sound all night and this kept me up. We were only there for a night or I would've asked to move rooms with the hope that those other things were not present in other rooms.

Clean and comfortable but a little needy

The bathroom was in serious need of help. It was clean, but it had broken tiles, broken baseboard, and the walls looked like they found a different way to patch each part when it needed attention. It also had a weird smell, which I think might’ve been the dryer smell on the towels

Bathroom was not ideal. Toilet barely worked and there were a plethora of rust stains in the tub. Also had an issue with the locking mechanism of the door. Took maintenance numerous tries to fix it. The “bistro” was closed all night…on a Saturday. Overpriced for what you get. However, the staff was nice.

The property was not as advertised online. It was dirty, we had used soap and dirty towels in our room upon check in. Hair was all over the bathroom floor. The AC was out on the floor we were on making it like a sauna, the ice makers were broken and when inquired at front desk the response was “I don’t know what to tell you”. Our door lock was faulty and would not always lock. It advertises a Bar online however they have closed that yet do not advise. I would not recommend this Marriott.

I stayed the weekend at this hotel and every night we came back from events in the city we had issues with our keycard that had to be changed 4 times, limited “breakfast” that didn’t come with our stay, as well as a “pushy” staff. Overall the room was nice and clean, pool was amazing, atmosphere and aesthetic was great, just had issues with the fine detail.

The hotel was VERY busy and understaffed. Rooms were not ready by 3. The attendant at the front desk was working his butt off. They could've used 2 more people to help with guests, phone calls and communicating with housekeeping about when rooms would be ready.

There were ants in my bathroom. The ice machines were broken. The workout area some of the stuff was broken. The “breakfast cafe” had no food and wasn’t open and you have to pay. There is no breakfast included. Not even hot water for tea. It closed at 10.

This property does not have a restaurant. They advertise having a "bistro". It is a counter with one man microwaving sandwiches, and pouring warm coffee labeled Starbucks. The indoor pool was unusable because it was not heated at all. It was like an ice bath!! We have been traveling for forthy years and never encountered a Hotel that is usually top notch have such a terrialbe amenities. the only saving grace was the room was very clean. We will not be staying there again.

I had to wait at the desk to be assisted for almost 15 minutes when checking in. The first room they put me the door would not lock. We had to pack up all of our stuff again and move to another room. The 2nd room smelled like smoke and the air conditioner made a squeaking noise all night when the fan would stop. We were up all night.

Close off the highway so was easy to get to. Pool was perfect and room was great as well. Staff was very helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

We were happy with the hotels accommodations, as we had to arrive late and they kept our room and we appreciated that. However, we were unable to shower when we arrived because the shower was frigid. That was very disappointing.

The room was next to an entrance so you heard anyone coming or going. Room was not great either. Couldn’t say I was impressed.

I liked everything very much, except for the location of the hotel and the lack of a bottle opener in the room.

I was surprised there was no microwave in the room. Also, the carpets were not updated and my nose/lungs could tell that the room we stayed in used to be for smokers…

Not Bad but seen better

Was a great Hotel but they do allow more riffraff there than they should. Someone decided to catch their room on fire at 2am and of course everyone in the hotel was outside for over a hour.

Very friendly, helpful staff. We did, however, have to evacuate at 2:30am due to a room fire on the second floor. Although not the fault of the hotel, it was very scary and unpleasant. We didn't stay as mild child would have been too scared to return to the room. We drove 2 1/2 hours home instead. Needless to say, we were exhausted. The hotel is supposed to honor a refund of the nights charge. I sincerely hope they do.

During the middle of the night, some person on our floor went crazy and set a pillow on fire and ran around with an ax. Causing everyone to evacuate and be displaced for 4 hours. We ended up leaving because they were not allowing us to return to our room and waited for over 3 hours. Hope a refund will come because that was terrible !

Fire alarm went off at 2am, had to evacuate building. After to he fire department cleared the building for entry and we could go back to our room, the fire alarm went off another couple times. Did not have to leave room but did not get much sleep. Hotel offered to comp room with booking agency permission, coffee was comped the next day but the bistro did not stay open later than normal scheduled except for coffee. Had to get breakfast outside of hotel.

Nice and conveniently located

My family absolutely loved this hotel. Their favorite was the pool, of course.

Rooms are ok. Looks like water damage repairs everywhere. Staff was great. No maintenance on holidays. Pornography on the treadmill screen was a bit offensive. Staff couldn't shut it off either.

Overnight stay

The room was very clean and the only drawback in the room was The Bed was lumpy seems like it was time to replace it. Not much of a bar selection Breakfast food was not worth the money

The people at the desk are friendly. My son has cancer and is receiving treatment near by. It is convenient to stay there and the people remember us every time; they are so welcoming!

There is alot about this property that im not pleased with. 1st keys wouldnt open the room because was someone else room. 2nd was the room that they gave us was bad. The wall paper was falling off the wall. 3rd the pool was supposed to open an bolt shut. Wouldn't recomand this place .

We were booked at the wrong hotel. We had to reschedule our dates and we got booked at wrong hotel. Far away from where we wanted to to be. We couldn’t cancel or switch.. never book again with Expedia. I’ve learned my lesson 😒

Check in was great. Room was ready and clean. But there was only 1 person working the bistro in the morning. Took forever. Had to leave before food was ready.

Stay in Columbus for Winterfair

Front desk person was great and we loved the hotel.

The gentlman at the front desk at the check in time was friendly and polite. Rooms were clean and lobby is well designed. We really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended

It was good.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told by the desk that the bar/dining area would be available until 10 pm. We came down at 8:30 pm to order some food, was told by the worker sitting on her ass, on her phone, that, "I'm not doing food." Welcome to the Marriott! Really delightful encounter.

Very disappointing

The hotel was average. They got our booking wrong (booked a single king size bed and sofa got two queen size beds instead). We figured we were only there to sleep so whatever. The big issue was in the morning when someone in the room above us took a shower water started pouring from the light fixture above our tub. Contacted the front desk and all i got was "oh that's not good" and told someone from maintenance would take a look. No one ever showed (we waited over an hour and then it was almost time for to have to check out). When we left the front desk who i know was the same guy i talked to on the phone about the water issue said very little and didn't seem interested. So next time i'm going to visit friends in Columbus i will definitely not stay here.

Clean lobby, room had trash left from previous people. Woke up with no heat and cold. Told front desk and they did nothing to make it right.

Traffic terrible

I booked a King and was told they were sold out so they put me in a queen room. The tub in the bathroom was absolutely disgusting so they transferred me to another queen suite room. The bathroom sink had an issue with leaking as did the toilet. The sofa and chairs were stained and gross.

Older hotel that needs refurbishing and update. There are no charging outlets in the unit. Get rid of the bathtubs and put in showers.

Tub did not drain while taking a shower. At least 3 inches, if not more, of water in tub while showering. About 5 minutes in shower. Reported to front desk upon check out…not the first complaint.

It was a good stay

I reserved my 2 rooms days in advance I arrived late around midnight and the room had no sheets and was not cleaned. After so many delays at the airport additional delays at a my hotel were in welcomed

This was a particularly beautiful Courtyard by Marriott. Beautiful pool area and lobby.

The property was very clean, all staff were nice, and allowed our group to check in a little early so we could get to the event we came to town for.

Very nice property. Our room was spacious and comfortable. A LOT of dark black hair in dresser drawers as well as several areas in the bathroom.

Bad tv reception and the hvac for the room was old and very loud

Stayed there for 1 night while on a business trip. The room was clean and comfy. The staff was super nice. Late checkout was not a problem. The food in the bistro was good but totally overpriced. Just nextdoor is a Wafflehouse. Convenient. Went there for breakfast. Although they also had breakfast items at the bistro inside the hotel .... The pool in the atrium looked nice. I'd stay there again.

Super hot in the hallway and the toilet broke

The place itself was nice as were the staff. My kids and I couldn't sleep well though because there was so much noise coming from the hallways. It was quite loud.

The hotel was very nice, beds were super comfy. Probably the best sleep ive had in a hotel. There was a bunch of kids yelling in the hall at night..which was annoying, but not the hotels fault.

I was surprised that breakfast was included in the stay. That said, when I tried to order breakfast, there was no one to take my order.

Air Condition was not working in the corridor throughout my stay and that was uncomfortable. They must learn to fix it few hours and not make clients suffer.

Comfortable, Clean, Attractive hotel and room!

Everything was delightful! Markus and Ryan at the front desk were exceptional! The hotel and the amenities were terrific! We had a room with a king-size bed and an attractive comfortable sofa. Both my husband and I thought the bed and bedding was excellent (and we are picky)! We were only passing through on our way to NYC from the Midwest. We are hoping that we can spend another night at this Courtyard by Marriott in Columbus West on our trip back home!

Because today was a hot day, I appreciated that the air conditioning was running when I entered my room.

Bring your wallet if you want to eat on property. Good news is they have a Waffle House next door. The little lady that works there is sweet as could be and moved like greased lightning. My room was cleaned well. The lady in the kitchen acted like she wanted to be elsewhere each time I interacted. Front desk was helpful but not overly inviting. Wished they were overall a bit more inviting. Getting on and off the highway was pretty easy @6AM. Sucked returning to the room after my activities as the highway was pretty busy. I might use the hotel again. In a pinch. No vagabonds or thieves on the property. Had some unsavory types just passing through the back lot near dark. Nothing too worrisome. For roughly $120 a night in Columbus, it wasn’t that bad. Wish they had free breakfast.

Easy access, ample parking, courteous staff, clean, comfortable room, bistro, bar, pool, and many other amenities are top notch.
