Booked through Expedia using my credit card. Paid in full. Used my debit card at check in for the $50 incidentals. They said my card declined. My bank account showed $210 charge. The clerk told me it was from Expedia. I tried to tell him I didn’t use that card for Expedia. So all together I paid $224 on one card to Expedia, $210 on another card they swear they didn’t charge despite me showing them my bank account. And $130 on yet another card-$50 for incidentals and $80 for parking. Totaling $564 for a one night stay. No thank you. Never again. Another man was complaining about being overcharged at the same time so apparently this is a habit. The hot water didn’t even work in our shower.
The lobby and restaurant were very cold. There was a 25.00 mandatory daily charge. You can use it for food and beverages, but the hotel restaurant was cold and very understaffed. We used our daily charge for lunch which took about an hour and 45 minutes each time. The server was very nice, but there appeared to be only 1 or 2. At check in they forgot to give me the daily food and beverage credit ticket but I was able to get it and go back and pay for lunch.
Convenient location, modern and spacious accomodations, and helpful staff. Onsite bar, restaurant, and Starbucks were great
Very good
Friendly staff clean room. Nice area.
Water was way too cold and hot water wasnt available after 10 pm which is terrible because after a flight a shower is the best way to recover. Staff was very helpful and feiendly.
Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent breakfast.
Friendly staff, nice room, great location. Easy process. Overall great experience for the first time staying at this hotel.
Decent but needs improvement
Valet and front staff were awesome. Room was comfortable. However, the bathtub was not clean when we arrived. There was a dirt ring around the tub and particles at the bottom of it. Also, the water did not get hot throughout our stay. To get the water to heat up, both the tub and sink faucets had to be turned on and even then the water would only get lukewarm.
Great location
Staff and property
In town for a football game and had a great stay. Able to get around town easily (on foot). Had dinner at Champions and all was good. Friendly staff and would recommend to others.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant
5⭐️
Friendly staff and clean rooms
Clean place
Property really clean and staff was helpful. Walking distance to restaurants and not to far from 6th Street.
The staff were polite and convenient with whatever you needed. Didn’t tell you how much the breakfast cost. The price to have your vehicle kept in the garage was outrageous
Convenient location to walk everywhere.
We had a fantastic stay! The staff was friendly, checkin was a breeze, and the location was perfect!
Great place to stay and Catch a Horns Football game!
Staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.
my favorite place to stay !
Parking is outrageously expensive whether you choose valet or self park in an inconvenient garage down the street or on the street itself. Value for what you pay at this hotel is low, and you sense you're going to be ripped off somehow in fine print somewhere. People seem to just accept that in Austin. Food was good albeit expensive and staff itself was generally helpful and pleasant.
Bueno
Stay was good, only highly recommend if you are going for the night life scene hotel is a 3-15 min walk from all the bars which isn’t bad but I would’ve liked to stay somewhere closer where they were more stuff to do other than drink lol but that’s on me (first time in Austin lol) but overall good hotel !
Parking is too expensive. $61.00 a night to park and add tips for the valet personnel, it is outrages.
Weekend getaway!!
We have stayed at a number of Marriott hotels and this one is friendly, clean, and quiet despite being so close to 6th St. Breakfast selections very good. Within walking distance to everywhere. Definetly recommend when you visit Austin. Parking can be either valet or if your lucky enough to find a park across the street if you are not needing valet or your vehicle while you are there you can certainly save a lot of your dollars. Valet is a little on the expensive side.
The hotel is nice, but unfortunately there is no soundproof within the building so you can hear the guests walking, talking and their AC above you so I could never sleep. I had a nice stay apart from that until I went to close my account and check out and the woman at reception, didn't listen to me and decided to charge the card I had given them for a hold for incidentals (instead of the card I wanted to use). I told her that was not the card I wanted to use then she proceeded to simply lie, gaslight and try and blame me for her actions. The entitlement was unbelievable, then she just talked over me, or listen, even though she was in the wrong. This reflects management and poor training. Hotels cannot charge a card without permission unless using the hold for insurance reasons for the room, not without a signature. When I explained this to the Manager, he also seemed to have an idea that a hotel can charge a credit whenever they want for whatever they want, without a signature, or any sort of written authorisation. This is illegal and paints a bad picture of this hotel.
Great stay. Room was comfortable and full of amenities. Staff was very courteous and accommodating of my needs. Will definitely stay again.
We had a great stay! Very convenient to walk to Eddie V’s and other places downtown.
Everything was amazing and we had the best customer service.
Great Stay
Fantastic
Good service and facilities
Was very clean
Awesome!
Loved everything about this hotel. Rooms were clean and updated. Pool was empty except for us which was nice. Staff were amazing, especially the valets!
What I liked the most was the view from my room. That is about the nicest thing I can say about this property. This property does not do room cleaning service if you are planning to stay here for more than one night. Not sure if this is common in hotels in Austin but this was the first hotel I have stayed that does this. You have to call to request towels if you are planning to book for more than one night. The bath is dangerously slippery. 3 out of the 5 people that was in our group slipped in the tub while taking a shower. They should have something on the tub floor to prevent this from happening. Luckily we just had bruises and no one was seriously injured. The pullout couch is very uncomfortable so make sure you get beds in your room and NOT the pullout bed couch. For the amount of money I spend at this location on a suite, I would have been better off with an Airbnb.
The front desk employees where awesome!
I highly recommend this place.
Close to downtown and convenient location
Awesome place. Close to everything and rooms were amazing, staff evening more amazing and helpful
I love love love this hotel so much !! The staff have always been so sweet and understanding . I have never had issues with the rooms they are always clean and comfy .Both 6th and 4th st is such an easy walk and feels very safe !
Great hotel to stay in
Very clean and quiet
They tried to charge us an early check-in fee when were checking in 2:15pm, earlier than their check-in time 4:pm, even there were rooms available! Something I had never experienced in other hotels.
Loved it! Will be coming back!
The hotel stay was good what I did not appreciate is the overpriced parking stay. $60 dollars for one night of parking is extremely high to say the least even if it is the only one left. You take an advantage of young people and with no other alternative, we have to pay. I do recommend to all guest to find out about parking prices so you are not surprise for the ridiculous overpriced parking space at the end.
Great stay. Will return.
Bed was comfortable. Great location. Close to a lot of restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere. Check in was easy and quick. Starbucks in the lobby was a plus.
Walking distance to 6th St & Rainy St
Great place. Only stayed 1 night, clean room, only down fall was the shower wouldn’t get warm the next morning. Ran it for 10 minutes but had an early flight out and had to take a cold shower. Told front at check out and all he suggested was we run the water awhile. Other than that it checks all the boxes.
Super clean and conveniently located to downtown Austin. Rooms are terrific!
Loved it
Great place. Great service. Great location
Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Pillows were awesome. Services was friendly and helpful.
One time was good,no second time
First nite the Fridge didnt work, takes the hot water 10mins to heat up,and the pool was ice cold. No heated pool i guess.
Great place!!
Really enjoyed the free Valet parking, Kevin was awesome. Also the location was perfect for a quick get away.
Great service, updated hotel. Nice cozy & clean rooms.
Parking charges HORRIBLE otherwise Great choice great price
Great visit. Will be back again.
Good
.
It was fun
The ice machine was not working and the phone gave a busy signal when I tried to call the lobby.
They gave me the wrong room.
Good customer service
Our stay at the Austin Courtyard was fine, no major issues. In particular our room was good, just as advertised. Checkin was OK but it would have been helpful to know in advance that valet parking was required and that the valet stand is anarchy. No knock against the hotel; in general downtown Austin is sketchy due to the vagrant problem and this should be taken into account.
Great location. Hotel is clean but not anything special.
Big rooms and comfortable beds. Water offered at reception. Nice hotel
I had a great time. Thank you!!
Conveniently located in walkable area with restaurants and event venues.
It was clean and staff was friendly. It was nice to have a Starbucks on property. There was only valet parking, and it was expensive, but that is to be expected in downtown Austin.
Good location. Easy to walk to restaurants and other places near by.
Love it
Ña
200$ FOR PARKING??!? TRASH
Not like the photos.
Nice hotel, very helpful staff, right in the heart of downtown Austin
Nice
Ok stay, but not great for family of five.
The hotel was okay for our family of 5. I appreciate that they allow 5 guests in the room, however I do not think the single king with TINY pull out sofa actually has space for 5 people. I would have booked a different kind of room if I had known how small the sleeping space was. Also, parking is so expensive ($62/night with no self park option) and breakfast is not included. For the amount of money we paid for 2 nights, I would think they would include one of these, or offer a larger room. It was clean, the hotel itself is nice, I just am not sure it provided the value I was looking for.
Nice friendly service. Comfy beds.
Not so great
Hotel is in a convenient area, staff was friendly, valet was awesome. The problem is the room itself. The beds are horrible. They are very hard. The sheets are cheap and sound like paper when you move around. And the pillows are like a sack of potatoes. We didn't sleep well and made for long days.
Nice hotel. I would recommend.
There is damage on my rear bumper done by the hotel valet. Scratched the paint.
Expedia booked the wrong dates and I was charged a no-show fees. Triple check your dates on check out because Expedia developers are terrible. Fix your front end. It’s embarrassing
Just an overnighter. Only issue was the walls paper thin and I happened to have partiers in my hallway.
Clean, great bedding. Walkable to everything!!
Nice
Parking at the hotel is like $57 a day. Our room was near the elevator and we could hear people talking loudly throughout the night.
The valet staff in the morning all weekend were amazing they deserve a lot of recognition
Luggage cart wheels really loud
We were grateful to get a room at the last minute for Saturday night. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Overall, very positive experience. The only negatives: parking is ridiculously expensive and the sheets were a little stiff and scratchy.
Lack of street parking. Stayed on the 7th floor from a Thursday until a Sunday and the hot water was only available on weekend days. Weekdays could only get warm water, and that is after a minute or two of letting water run.
Love the location and staff.
Centralized in Austin Downtown, convenient to all surrounding areas. Great, well kept, and friendly staff.
Our onsite manager and his team is awesome, helpful, friendly. My family is very happy that we had wonderful weekend Also the valet crew awesome.
Gym & Club owner
The Valet parking situation was a disaster. It was a big marathon weekend combined with a volleyball tournament and you had one person to valet cars. It took us over an hour to get our car making us late to our tournament. This could have gotten by team disqualified if I hadn't been able to find someone to cover until I got there. Very unprepared for this weekend.
Staff was very nice!
Staff was great!!!
