The staff was indifferent at best, occasionally rude. For an inclusive it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff just asking for a coffee refill. I definitely would not recommend this inclusive.

Beautiful beach area and grounds. Very friendly staff. Anything you want they’ll get. Food very good. Rooms in need of modernization and updates. Hasn’t been updated in 40 years.

Couples Tower Isle is great resort for a short amount of time. The building is very outdated and so are the rooms. We stayed in a superior suite and were not thrilled when the doors opened. All the furnishing was very tired, however the bed was cozy and clean which is all you need for a beach vacation. The beach here is 10/10 and same with the staff and service. We did find this to be better food options for all inclusive resort style eating. The au natural island was also beautiful and very private. If you do not want to see anyone there are places you can be privately. We will be back to Jamaica but would like to try to some different resorts. If you are looking for a beautiful, smaller sized resort with awesome staff this is the place for you! It was overall a wonderful experience and we loved how small this resort was, no fighting for beach chairs everyday.

Great for a group where you can make your own fun. Nights were slow and days were slow.

Lazy, careless attitudes abundant around the property especially during the tour. We had no idea what the property offered until the last day when we stumbled on visitors that did the catamaran ride. Very inattentive employees in the cafeteria and in all restaurants. Had to speak out at both bars when we wanted a drink...Just sat one time for over 10 minutes upon walking up and sitting down with absolutely NO greeting...Or offer for drinks. For what I paid for this 10 day stay...VERY dissatisfied! We were the ONLY ones giving tips...Especially in the beginning of the week. Then, the employees almost looked at us like...where's our tip!! The room maid service, when asked if our mini-bar would be stocked after day 3 of being empty replied" I'll restock it then asked specifically for a tip ! ! ! Won't be back

The entire package was excellent, the intimacy of the property being a smaller resort was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food options were great and the nightly entertainment was pefect.

For the price, this all inclusive property is well worth it!! I really enjoyed the variety of water sport options included, the convenience of access to them, and our amazing tour guides. Although I'm not usually a fan, the buffet was GREAT, as I'm sitting here stuffed with Jamaican ox tails, and it was full of variety! The 8 Rivers restaurant was also my favorite for dinner and reservations we easy to get! If your looking for that clean, well maintained island feel, then this is definitely your resort!! We also enjoyed the "private nude isle" as a lil get away during the day. There are also several fun tour options within 30 minutes of the resort. The 1.5 hr drive from Mobay airport was also seamless. I do encourage you to join the Couples Romance club for additional free perks. The staff was amazing and eager to assist. This 40th b day trip was a hit!! Thank you Couples Isle Resort!!

Loved it

The room and the staff were excellent. The food was not so good. Also, tried to get coconut water and beef patties, but they did not have them while I was there. My wife was displeased with all the steps as she has difficulty walking.

LOVE that it’s quiet, never crowded (only 226 rooms!), and the BEST thing, no harassers/ « sales people » on the beach. Really disappointed in how run down the property is. Especially common areas 😥 Pools, hot tub, grounds, corridors, elevators, stairs, buildings. Really, really run down and in desperate need of repairs. Food and staff are excellent! 👍👍

Food was excellent and so was housekeeping. Most of the staff was very helpful and nice. Only a few were rude. Would stay again. More variety in alcohol such as tequilas. Over a good experience and would return.

We loved the resort it was very beautiful place , loved the food , great stuff/team members all of them were very helpful and friendly specially Mr.Byron welcomed us at first when we got there and was helpful with any questions we had . This is the original all inclusive resort in Jamaica, built in 1949. You have a secluded beach, no vendors, no hassles whatsoever. The food and service was great!

The staff was awesome, food is good, and the facilities were clean. Our only complaint is that the facility need upgrades all around.

The hotel is very dated, the rooms are basic - certainly not what I’d think of as 5 star, definitely don’t bother with a garden view. The staff in the restaurants and bars were great but those looking after activities were really just interested in doing anything. Barely any of the activities actually happened. It was either too windy or not enough wind as an excuse for any water sports, or the staff were ‘away’ on lunch. As it was we spent most of 10 days sitting around. What should have been active was a very dull holiday in a hotel a long way from anything. Food was okay, but if you want fish it’s always snapper. 10 days, catch of the day, snapper. It was nice but definitely wasn’t the catch of the day. A good resort if you just want to sit and drink but if you want some activities look elsewhere.

Since tipping was not allowed (did so anyway to a few) service was not apriority at bars. The food was above average and you will not go hungry. There's no where to go inside to have a few cocktails before dinner and stay in air-conditioning.

There was no VIP amenities or room upgrades. We cannot complain about the age of the property. It's fairly nice and well kept. Our room was at the end of last building. It was maybe a 2 minute walk back to center of resort. We are clothing optional so we didn't opt for the cold water pools next to the resort. We boated over to the nude island every day. Smoke and get tanned in peace. They have cool activities on the water that's included in your stay. We left once for a dolphin adventure but quickly came back to enjoy the sun. Mostly all of the staff are friendly and courteous and some remember you day to day. I guess the only down part is that our room didn't have a tub. The picture online showed one but wasn't a deal breaker.

The property and their amenities are awesome, however the property is dated and in need of renovations.

I had a wonderful vacation there. Enjoyed the food and several staff members there went out of their way to be welcoming and accomodating. I plan to go there again.

Everyone was right about Couples Tower Isle having the best food around. They forgot to mention how great all the employees are. They made sure we had a lot of fun!

Food was ok and only twice the whole trip was our food order correct. Bartenders and water sports guys were great. Nightly entertainment is lacking and after 10pm place is a ghost town.

Very good resort

I stayed on this property before and it was wonderful. This time was surprising, rooms are outdated. Our rooms had a very outdated bathroom, broken tiles on the floor, mold on the pillow (one of them) and the bed headboard was stained and dirty. I brought it to the hotel attention and nothing was done the same night, they told us we have to wait for the next morning at 9am to speak with the hotel manager. This was unacceptable. We did get another room the next day but the restroom was outdated not a comfortable stay for me. Ed

Amazing food

This resort is an absolute delight, food is delicious, staff is nice and the place was super clean ..can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay at CTI. The food was great. All of the staff were super friendly and made you feel very welcome. They work very hard. It was very clean. The couples massage was excellent. We loved all the activities that were offered. Really enjoyed the catamaran cruise that was included in our stay. Free transportation was a plus and our drivers were great. Drinks were delicious. Food was really good. Really enjoyed Bayside and Eight Rivers. Its not a place you can go out into town, walk around, and explore just cause of its location. Thats probably our only negative. They do offer a shopping trip and a ride out to Margaritaville if you're intrested in that. Overall we loved our stay though!

The experience overall was to be expected. We did not participate in the Island. There was a diverse divide between those who participate in he island, and those who do not. Overall the property was to be expected. Could use a makeover but the views were fantastic. The only I would suggest is that the staff members responsible for guest services were more outgoing and informative when it comes to provided services or activities of the resort, and the availability of different excursions off property. We inquired about some off the property excursions and were greatly disappointed by the lack of information they could provide or interest in even helping. This was our first time to Jamaica and we did not know what to expect. This visit definitely did not make us want to return to Jamaica let alone the interest in the resort to want you to come back.

My stay at Couples Tower Isle was overall a positive experience. The resort was clean, and our housekeeper did an excellent job, performing daily cleaning and turndown service. I appreciated not needing to carry money since tips aren’t accepted, and all activities and items could be charged to our room. The free transportation from Montego Bay airport was smooth, thanks to Austin, and the Couples waiting area at the airport was very accommodating. The bellhop took great care of us at check-in, and when we left, he kindly stored my juice in the fridge while we waited for our ride. However, no one came to pick up our bags as scheduled, so we ended up bringing them down ourselves. A more thorough orientation at check-in would have helped, as we missed the Wednesday dinner on the beach due to not knowing about it. We dined at Eight Rivers for my birthday, but the food took too long and arrived lukewarm. We only learned about the QR code for room service and hotel info on our third night. As an Expedia VIP Gold member, I requested a room upgrade and late check-out but was not accommodated despite low occupancy. However, they did provide champagne and cookies the night before my birthday. The resort is beautiful and clean, but areas like the Patio restaurant can be humid when the AC is off. Special thanks to Tamoy for her helpful recommendations and great caramel macchiato. With a few minor improvements, this could easily be a 10/10 experience.

Loved this entire stay

I had a fabulous time at the Couples Tower Isles Resort. The staff was very friendly and professional. Sean at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied . He had a warm smile which made our experience even better. We had our sister and brother in law as guest and they said it was the best time they had in their life.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Couples Tower Isle All-Inclusive Adults Only in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach, delicious food and drinks, and the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. A special highlight was the thoughtful surprise of a complimentary cheese and cracker plate with sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. The only areas that could use improvement are the WiFi and updating the furniture. Overall, our experience was fantastic. Thank you to the staff for making our stay and trip in Jamaica truly amazing and memorable.

Staff was very friendly

Very welcoming arrival with a cold towel and glass of champagne! The air in our room wasn’t cooling and the staff went above and beyond to find us the right room with cold air. The staff was always friendly even with the hurricane that had just hit the town a few days earlier. The food was good and I love having a late night snack option. The glass bottom boat excursion that is included is wonderful. The beach was a little rocky in some areas. I would like to see a little variation in the breakfast buffet, they served the same foods each morning we were there. Overall wonderful resort, great service, and friendly staff. Definitely going back!

We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary this past week. We have been going back to Tower Isles because of the people at the resort who treat us like family! The food is very good! The gardens are beautiful! We sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful views.

This hotel was amazing! The food was out of this world amazing. The staff were all so friendly. My husband and I took full advantage of the water sports they offered and had so much fun with all the workers there. We did Dunns River Falls as part of our room package and it was awesome! The transportation was on time and friendly as well! I would totally stay at this resort again.

The staff is top notch customer service,treating you as family. Meals and drinks are another area the resort thrived in. The improvements would be the guest services desk was asked to book our club mobay departure since it comes as as free service for repeaters, yet they only booked it for 1 not 2 if us. Also the room itself had an air conditioner problem that i reported on their app and to staff two days after arriving. As of the 7 day visit the air conditioner was still not functioning properly.

Presentation of hotel

Exceptionally clean. The grounds are beautifully kept and take you back to nature. There are beautiful green gardens surrounding the property. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean and everything smells good. The beach is also clean and there is plenty of space to spread out.

Great place with wonderful people and dining. Very charming and well managed. It does desperately need to be renovated, though. It’s overcoming its outdated exterior, but the time will come when it can’t.

It was more than I expected. I love the fact that Jamaican dish was part of the menu.

First time staying in Jamaica and Couples Tower Isle did not disappoint! From the time we arrived at the airport their team did a fantastic job making sure my wife and I were taken care of. The food was amazing! The resort is very well laid out and the room was fantastic. The team once we got on site through the week was great. We loved the water sports which is all included. Highly recommend taking advantage of that. The beach front was great. So peaceful, perfect to just relax and enjoy the great weather.

We went to Couples Tower Isle for our honeymoon. It was the first time we had ever been at an all inclusive and the experience was one we will never forget! The staff was so friendly and ready to assist us at any moment. The only confusing part was the excursions online didn’t match the in person offers. Overall it was a 10/10, highly recommend! The food was *chefs kiss!

This was our second time at couples tower isle with the first time being 10 years ago for our wedding. We had a great experience back then and I am happy to say we did once again. The included excursions are a good value to take advantage of and the food was spectacular in the majority of scenarios. My only thing I’d like to see improved is consistency/ training of bartenders. We got the know the staff and quickly figured out who made good drinks and who wasn’t quite there yet. Outside that, staff are friendly, room was clean and comfortable and we felt safe at all times. I also recommend the “trading places” option to spend a day at couples San Souci location nearby (try the pad Thai :)

Awesome property in beautiful surroundings. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that the Patio and Bayside restaurants were terribly hot and humid in May when we were there. It was a let down to dress up for the romantic fine dining experience with my husband and be required to wipe sweat away and perspire in my dress. We are returning, but during the winter months next time.

I love the quietness the area was away from all the other perks in the area. My husband really enjoyed this bday gift. I would come again and again and again. The staff was welcoming and the hours of meals was good cause everyone had their own schedule of events planned.

The Couples Tower Isle Resort is a beautiful all-inclusive resort. We enjoyed the food, the amenities, the entertainment and Tower Isle! Our first experience in the nude…and there was NOTHING to be embarrassed or shy about! The other guests, staff and bartender made us feel comfortable being in our skin. My husband purchased a dinner on the Isle for our 32nd Anniversary and it was AMAZING!! The food was delicious and plentiful, the chef made each course perfect, our waitress was very attentive and AWESOME even though that was a double shift for her, and she made us feel comfortable being on the island alone, along with the security guard. It was our BEST vacation yet! We will definitely be back!!

I loved the room and most of the service. I did not appreciate that I wasn’t able to dine at one of the restaurants when I had a reservation. I was denied access because I didn’t have long pants. Also there was not good communication between the booking agent for our day of events and me and a driver had a disagreement because of it.

This was our first time on a Caribbean island and we are so glad we chose Jamaica and Couples Tower Isle Resort. An absolutely beautiful place with the utmost in hospitality and attention to their guests. We will be back ♥️🇯🇲♥️

The staff was excellent; however, the rooms and property are in need of renovations. We had to request a room change due to mold smell being emitted from the AC unit. The piano bar also had the same moldy smell.

It was the best trip ever. Do your self a favor and just do it.

While the property and hotel itself are older than expected, we had a nice time. The majority of the staff were very friendly and accomodating. As an early riser, I wish the coffee shop opened earlier.

This is a nice all inclusive but it is old. The rooms are in desperate need of updating however the staff is very kind and attentive.

Staff is great, super friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but really clean, comfortable and timeless decor. Water sports activity was fantastic, snorkeling, scuba (discover), sailing, glass bottom boat, Dunn River Falls. Food was solid, the anniversary banquet was spectacular. Regular dinner was solid, I'm allergic to bell peppers and the regular buffet food had them in a lot of food so that was a bit of a challenge for me. Travel from Monterey Bay takes all of 2 hours so prepare for that. If there's an opportunity to book an island hopper plane that will cut down on travel time.

Wonderful staff, beautiful property. The shopping excursion only went to 2 shops and the prices were sky high prices. Need more music, only music was at events. Need more photographers to take pics on the beach etc, not just dinner.

This is really a 4-star resort even though it is 5-star. The staff are excellent. It’s a great luxury experience for those who are not normally used to luxury. Otherwise it’s lacking in some details. The shower barely has any water pressure. And you almost can’t control the temperature at all it’ll just be pretty hot all the time. The shower gel and shampoo are the wholesale type in containers on the wall, hotel branded. In other 5-star facilities I’ve been at you get quality branded ones. The food is average at best. Stay away from anything steak. Regardless of the type you won’t be able to chew them. The lamb chops were good. Food option variety is actually pretty good you have all sorts. Just all are average quality. The hotel is very clean. They’re always cleaning everywhere and the staff is super friendly. You really don’t get the feeling that they are working for tips. They just love the guests. They have a great coffee bar too which makes good lattes, espressos, etc.

Excellent Stay

Very relaxing and easygoing resort. Food is fantastic and everyone is very friendly. Be prepared for a long drive from the airport that is the only downside.

Great buffets for all 3 meals and lovely restaurant on site, at the point. Make sure to book in advance as it is not open every night. Service there is excellent. Some rooms are refurbished – ours was — and it was bright, spacious, with double sinks, decent closet, sitting area, and exceedingly comfortable king bed. It also had blackout drapes, a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and lovely big balcony facing the pool and sea. No elevator, but on the third floor, we got at least a bit of exercise. All the food was good, with excellent choice, and the desserts were a stand out. For those wishing to access the au natural beach on the little island, you can only get access weather permitting. On 4 of the 5 days we were there, it was “closed“, which was a disappointment as that was a key selling feature. On the island, it is difficult to find any shade, and the lunches they prepare there are very basic. There is a swimming pool, washrooms, and swimming in the sea down a little ladder. Watch out for rocks. The service was uneven. Some of it was excellent (loved room attendant Rochelle) however, we found the hostesses at the breakfast and lunch buffets less than welcoming. As we entered, they often offered us the first table inside the door, in a large half-empty restaurant. We would request a table deeper into the room, and on more than one occasion the response was annoyance and a chippy attitude — for no apparent reason. On balance, we probably would not return.

Very quiet and private, perfect for a romantic getaway. Found that maybe a full third of the staff members would persistently try to sell you....things... to the point that we would avoid areas of the beach that we would avoid because they would always be around there. This was quite off-putting, even as someone who had interest in said things.

Came back for a second visit. The food is great, pool bar is awesome and the ocean water is perfect for the inclusive scuba diving. Would highly recommend.
