We really enjoyed the gym and fitness activities. The scuba diving is a wonderful option, though it does have an additional cost.

Nice Place. Was not allowed to upgrade room as a platinum member. Was not allowed to have any input in room selection. The food was over the top awesome compared to other places we have stayed. The Atrium suite was very nice (No T.V.). The patio was also very nice. The live entertainment left something to be desired. Lots of walking to get from food to bars. the staff was friendly. Would recommend

Location is beautiful, gym facility is exceptional, chef made sure we had vegan and vegetarian (no eggs, chicken and fish) food for every meal. Highly recommend for others to come and explore.

The beach is beautiful and well-maintained. The resort offers a wide variety of included excursions as well as daily onsite activities. Dining and bar hours conflict with website info. There was no beach drink service even though noted on website, however there are multiple beach tiki bars. Noisy at night from other area resorts.

We had a veranda oceanfront room. It was right on the beach and in the center of the resort. Many passers by looked over with envy because of how awesome the location was!! The resort is a bit run down and needs do renovation. The ocean air is really hard on everything. Overall the resort was in great shape. The service was impeccable and the staff seemed genuinely gracious to help. I really enjoyed the interactions with numerous staff members. Jamaicans are the kindest souls on earth. The food was outstanding, and whether we are at one of the various high end restaurants, or the amazing buffet, we always left more than satisfied!!

One of the best places I have stayed so far. It was a quiet and peaceful place eventhough there are so many units around you. I felt so close to nature. Place is a bit pricey but they gave a lot of activities for free including sail boating, catamaran cruise and scuba diving. Crowd here was decent and best place for couples.

The food was absolutely terrible! All restaurants are not open at all times as advertised. Some of the staff are very nasty. They also downgraded our room and tried to con us into that we were getting an upgrade. Terrible food! Go to a well known resort for the money they charge. Avoid this dump

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Couples Swept Away. The resort is very beautiful, the food was delicious, and customer service was phenomenal. This was our first trip to this resort and we have already promised ourselves that we will be back in 2025. If I could, I would give Couples Swept Away 10 stars!!!

OK, so let me start by saying this resort is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is amazing. The beach is breathtaking. We were upgraded when we got there on a Monday so the ocean view room which was gorgeous. We woke up and fell asleep to the sunrise and sunset every day, everyone was super friendly shout out to O’Brien security staff. We had a small hiccup that I won’t get into but besides that this place is definitely a 10 out of 10 we met so many people who have been there multiple times even met a couple a couple that had been there 20 times already , this will be Be a part of our regularly scheduled vacation annually. Oh the massage at the spa was very good. My husband had a woman name Nataly and I had a gentleman named McNeal. I highly recommend the spa!

We like the tennis facility. Quiet and nice beach.

Not worth the money. Some staff are very rude. Don’t be fooled by the beachfront upgrade, you could be on the 2nd on 3rd floor. Our check-in was terrible, but Shanel at registration is nice and professional. Had some unexpected bugs (many) in the room. The best part was the food.

The overall effect of the beautiful beach and upkeep of the property landscape. That made the resort stay more attractive and hospitable for visitors.

Our stay there at couples swept away was everything and more exceeded all expectations ! The food and staff were amazing . We loved being right on seven mile beach ! So beautiful definitely would recommend to anybody !

The stay was amazing. The resort had plenty to do and great food options. Breakfast options were okay, lunch and dinner were amazing. Feathers was a great experience. Most of the staff were great, a few went above and beyond and were so energetic and fun, some were just business or did not interact very much with guests. The property was undergoing some repairs from the hurricane damage, but none of the work disrupted our stay. We will visit again for the convenience of an all inclusive resort, beautiful beaches, plenty of water activities, great food, and relaxing environment.

Everything was wonderful except one bartender who seemed to hate her job.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! We have been to Jamaica 4 times. This was our first time to Negril. This was the best resort for activities, beach front and food. There are a few authentic Jamaican food daily. You do have the option for your hamburgers, french fries jerk chicken. They have a catamaran tour that is complementary. It was amazing and super fun. The on-site club was great. The nightly entertainment was great. This resort is actually on the 7 mile beach. There is no seaweed, pure blue waters. They are currently renovating certain rooms. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the upgraded rooms next year.

The beach was very beautiful, as well as the outdoor walking areas within the hotel. The hotel has a nice, rustic vibe, but lacks the advertised upscale feel. The hotel staff was hit-or-miss, some being very welcoming and nice, and some being rude and unhelpful. The food at the resort was okay, but nothing exciting. We had a pleasant stay but we wouldn't necessarily return to this property.

Beautiful Beach and Ocean Views

I have been to Couples Swept Away 4 times now. The resort is on the famous 7 mile beach which is beautiful! This resort lays out along the beach instead of being set back like many resorts. That means you are only steps away from the beautiful crystal clear water! They also provide nice floats on each beach chair that you can take out into the water. Wherever you walk, you are looking out at the ocean! That’s why we come here for that beautiful view. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing and so chill! Drinks are top shelf. Breakfast and lunch were great. Most dinners were good. This resort offers lots of excursions for no additional cost as well as diving. Definitely one of my favorite places to vacation!

This was our first-ever tropical vacation & CSW far exceeded any expectations I had! The staff was very accommodating, the food was fantastic & the resort was so well taken care of. I felt so spoiled & based on our experience, we will absolutely be back and will recommend to others. I’m sure we could find things to nitpick about but I don’t feel the need considering how wonderful my experience was overall.

Great property, lots of great amenities, and some of the staff could be friendly.

The beach is excellent. The rooms a in need of an upgrade but they stay cool. Take bug spray. The ride from the airport is 1.5. -2 hours depending on the traffic. This is a total downside since we basically lost a day.

The included activities, dining and drinking options and quality, as well as free shuttles to area excursions are incredible. The resort staff make you feel welcome and encourage guests to participate in everything you can squeeze into your time at the resort. The fitness center and spa made it easy to have a nice morning workout, followed by some laps in the pool, and a game of pickleball, or tennis and even squeeze in a massage if you enjoy them. The juice/smoothie bar made for a great finishing touch. Plan ahead and make your reservations for dinner at Feathers or Lemongrass restaurants and you won't be disappointed. Patois patio restaurant also has great food and doesn't require reservations. The jerk chicken at the Scotch Bonnet poolside restaurant is amazing and the burgers and other fare like authentic Jaimacan Pattis are also very good. The buffet style offerings at the Palms are venerally good with a large variety to choose from. Tons of nightlife fun can be had at either the martini bar or the Aura nightclub/piano bar. Connect with the staff a d embrace in the activities offered, and you'll have a great time!

Second time staying at this beautiful resort. Overall the best food and beach at an all inclusive resort. The entertainment was somewhat lacking this time around - probably because we are in their off season. (Tip: if you are looking for lobster anywhere you won't find it in the month of April as they are in their lobster season). Expedia perks - I didn't receive any complimentary amenities as part of my VIP status. The upgrade offered was nothing extraordinary and seeing that the hotel was at low capacity I would have liked to have been extended a nice upgrade. I saw many rooms vacant while there so a gesture like an upgrade to a premium room would have made a big difference in the acknowledgment of my loyalty and VIP status with Expedia. Staff: Staff was very attentive and always willing to help. There were several employees that went out of the way to make sure we had a great time: Shaniya (Entertainment), Rick (Aurora) Orlando (Palms), Shannel (Lobby), Yvonne (Room Attendant) Rovaldo & Sherika (Beach Bar), Janique (Patios) and my personal favorite: Colinette (spa). Thank you Couples for another great vacation.

Is good

The resort was amazing! There was plenty of options for water sports or excursions. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Loved all the food. This place feels more like you're on a tropical island than on a standard resort. When you're in the water looking back at the beach, you almost don't notice the resort buildings. You just see the trees and the mountains in the distance, which I think is a huge part of the charm of this resort. There is some night life, like karaoke piano nights (which are a blast), but it's more of a relaxed chill island vibe here.

Couples resorts never disappoint. Staff were attentive, food was delicious. Will be going back!

This property is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is awesome. The food was excellent, the staff was excellent and we love the beach bars, which most resorts do not have. What we didn't like is the pool was very dirty the day we were in it. Crap flooting everywhere. They really need to redesign the entire pool bar area to make it more user friendly and fun. The property overall needs to be updated as many new resorts have come to Jamaica.

This property is huge with a long stretch of beautiful beach. Multiple buildings with guest rooms and lots and lots of trees palms and foliage makes it feel jungle like and natural. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Water sports and 2 restaurants are at one end and more restaurants are at the complete opposite end. Beach bars and a smoothie casual bar are in between. The beach is lined with plenty of trees for shade and lots of beach chairs and drink service on the beach. I would definitely stay again …loved the ambiance and the fact it is run like a well oiled machine adds to all of it. The staff are all polite helpful and kind.

Beautiful resort, excellent staff

The beaches were beautiful. The water was clear and swimming was enjoyable. The food at the buffet called the Palms was very good and there was quite a variety. The other restaurants were acceptable. The alcohol was free flowing and readily available. The bartenders were quick and friendly. Our house keeper did a great job and we even had turn down service in the evening. Two things that I did not enjoy were the 1 1/2 hour drive from/to the airport and the fact that the two fancier restaurants don’t have more availability for reservations.

We had the most amazing stay. The beach/ocean is one of the best we’ve ever seen. Property was lush and beautiful. Rooms were a little lacking, but you don’t spend much time there. Food and service was amazing!

The property was clean. The food was excellent. There were a few workers in the food areas that made you feel as though your a burden. Service was VERY slow. Bar tenders and servers were fast but not when it came to being waited on or being served. No entertainment in the evenings. Swim up bar is small. Don't order an omlette - it will take a half hours to 45 min

Beautiful resort. Nice choice of restaurants. Fitness side was great (lap pool, aquafit etc.). Water activities are poor because there is always something unavailable, missing etc...(one windsurf board only, two hobbie cats though there are 4 etc.).he staff is not so friendly and quite lazy. Dive team on the contrary is superb.

Beautiful property. Staff in general were friendly. There were a few that stood out and reminded us of the friendly people we have met in the past at another resort. Sandra at check in, Devone a bartender, and of course Nadine at the spa. These 3 really made us feel welcomed and special. Not enough time or good weather conditions to experience all that is included but it is a great resort. Feathers was exceptional, the food offered at the Palms buffet was not a huge selection but the food was great and they had alot of specialty items that were fresh. Patios also did not disappoint if you want a very nice sit down meal. We stayed in an Atrium room on the 2nd floor. In my opinion this was probably better than if we had an ocean front. We were next to the Palms and overlooked one of the pools. We had plenty of privacy and could enjoy the music in the evening while we relaxed in our hammock on the patio.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We will return. The beach is amazing and the property outside is kept up beautifully. Our room could use updates but was nice. Service here at the resort was not always pleasant and this was disappointing having been to Jamaica several times. We had many wonderful people assist with things however there were some folks that gave the impression we were bothersome to them an example would be getting a table or ordering a drink. Our bartender in the disco bar was great! Our housekeeper was great! Beach service was off and on to be around. Check in was quick but did not provide a map and that would have been nice as the property is pretty large and spread out. We also had a massage while their service and massage were excellent! Very pricey though and relaxation pool and men’s sauna where out of service. We had pickle ball lessons and that was fun! I was served rotten lobster. This was awful! 3 of us at our table where served rotten lobster. However all other food throughout the week was excellent.

Beautiful beach, great food and dinners! Awesome NYE party! Loved using the Health club, courts, yoga and gym! Sunset cruise included! Comfy beach chairs and unlimited towels! Drinks unending and great! Buffets had so many options.

Beautiful beaches! Food OK, not a lot over variety, staff OK, about 1 out of 5 or 6 people were nice and friendly. Facility, rooms, outdated… Private cruise and spa staff, amazing & wonderful.

The property was aesthetically pleasing, had enough trees on the beach to provide shade, the pools were lovely.

This resort is very beautiful! But very quiet! GREAT for RELAXATION! The massage was AMAZING! The staff was very attentive! I was happy that guest services arranged for us to experience the fine dinning, but I was disappointed because we missed out on other events happening around the resort. I would have enjoyed hearing more music! Overall we enjoyed our Anniversary!

The grounds are lush and beautiful. The beach and water are unparalleled. With regard to food and restaurants, Feathers and Lemongrass are very good with exceptional staff. Palms has a good buffet selection. Patios was a different story. The breakfast food and staff were fine. Lunch was consistently a disaster. Extremely slow service with a lackluster staff. The kitchen staff couldn’t keep up even when there were few customers in the restaurant. Lunch at Patois was the talk of the beach with many people stating how unhappy they were. Some even walked out without eating. Patois at night was wonderful! The food and waiters were outstanding.

This property is beautiful for young couples. It is very difficult for senior citizens with walking issues. Lots of stairs.

Staff act like they hate people and their jobs!!! The hostess wasn’t welcoming at all. Kitchen close too early and no room service. Not enough night activities for guest.

Best beach in Negril

Grounds and beach are the best! Construction underway was annoying and loud. The restaurant selections were great. Walls near the pool area need paint which is an easy fix 😉 be aware that you may need cash to pay for some excursions which caught us off guard. This was our 3rd stay and still our favorite beach. Pickle ball lessons were awesome! Thanks Norman and Narson. Donovan is a great chef at Feathers

We loved the water the most. It was nice having the mats to get on in the water. The catamaran cruise was so nice!

The property is beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities are also great. Although the room we stayed in was generally nice, it could have benefitted from a little updating especially in the bathroom area. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the noise we were going to hear in the Atrium part of the property so it was a little difficult to sleep. I will definitely stay in this property again but not in the Atrium.

The property is old needs updating. Pool bar staff rude dirty pool by the bar area.No towels for beach or pool area took half the morning to get towels. Beautiful beach but you can’t relax people constantly harassing you to buy things. One staff member told my husband it would cost him $5 bucks to light he’s cigarette or buy the useful lighter for$5 bucks. On a good note martini bar guys were fabulous. Feather restaurant food delicious, lemongrass restaurant food was also delicious and staff in both restaurants were great. Food in buffet area was ok nothing special.

At first take upon arrival, the wow factor is certainly missing. The facility is just ok at first and the rooms are underwhelming. Now for the great. After being there for a day or so the facility grows on you The ocean is incredible, absolutely amazing. The clear water and perfect sand. The food is extremely delicious and clean. Tevin in entertainment and Jessica at the pool bar are a couple awesome people. They stand out for sure. The catamaran and snorkeling are all included and everyone should go on g to hose two excursions! Overall a great trip and I would definitely recommend.

Couple Swept Away was great! The guys on the glass boat boat and snorkeling trips were awesome! Other staff, in my opinion didn’t go out of their way to make things fun. Overall, a great experience and if I visit Negril in the future I would stay at this property again.

The place is nice I noticed they were renovating some units but still needs more attention pools were deteriorating and also other areas . The only big issue I had was staff specially the ones you interact with more like the bars some restaurants and amenities it was hit or miss they had enough workers but it seems they were more content in talking to each other than to acknowledge you when you arrive or needed something you would need to call them to get their attention very disappointed.

The resort was beautiful along with the beach. The fish tacos on the beach were delicious. Restaurant food was also good. If you need a drink on the beach or anywhere ask for Rolando he was by far the best and made sure we were taken care of everyday. He made our stay even better

We had a great relaxing trip. The hotel was very cozy and staff were really friendly. Food was good, but a little more choices would be better. The pools were out dated and there was construction but overall we loved it. Laid back vibe. Not a party spot!

This place was warm and welcoming. Only downside was the daily delay on beach/pool towel availability and there were lots of bugs.

We enjoyed our stay at Couples Swept Away, the Beach is amazing. Its a perfect place if you are looking to simply relax. The only complaint we had is the lack of beach towels.

The grounds were beautiful and the beach was paradise. Turquoise water and the softest white sand. Very intimate and quiet resort. The food is great although there are only 4 restaurants. Night entertainment is lacking. Most of the staff was friendly and smiling. You must meet Kadie at the coffee lounge, shes amazing! Plenty of shade on the beach. You do NOT need floats, they have them on the beach chairs. The gym is outdated and is outside, so it can get a little warm, but it really helps you break a sweat. It's a no tipping resort and even if you wanna tip, you can't get change anywhere! So bring your own! They provide a shuttle service to/from the airport, its complimentary. The beds were super hard. They provide turn down service twice a day. There are mosquitos and gnats that get into the room and the resort is full of cats and kittens! I would definitely return, but probably not stay in the garden view (its right next to the street and super loud). A great place to relax and reconnect with your partner!

This place was amazing! From the beach, to the grounds. The food was yummy - we loved the fish tacos at the seaside bar. The staff was outstanding! Cheryne at the coffee bar was so kind and wonderful. Shemar & Shevon at the swim-up bar kept things super fun. Carson & Neno at the Palms bar make the best mojitos! The martini bar was super cool. Chevelle was our favorite waitress of our trip - she was at Lemongrass. We also enjoyed our taxi driver from the resort to Rick’s Cafe - his name is Wilbert. Overall, this is my favorite resort we’ve ever been to. You can’t beat this beach or staff! We will return.

Couples Swept Away delivered again! The resort is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. Staff did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. The building we normally stay in is under construction but the front desk found us a room next to it. We will be back again next summer!

The staff is amazing. However, the food is not good at all, If you don’t make reservations before you arrive prepare to eat at the Buffett. I paid for an ocean view but didn’t have much of a view, the major down side to our room was there was construction at the building directly across from us, so we didn’t get any rest during the day. Honestly we’d be ever stay at couples again.

Property was awesome as an American who tips i believe they should allow tips for the workers. Food was great. Great atmosphere!

Couples Swept Away was a stunning location and we had an incredibly romantic vacation. We enjoyed everything from the beach, restaurant options, bars, gift shop and just the whole resort was wonderful. Shanna-Kay & Shanniek from the beach bar were awesome and attentive. They made our experience at the beach that much better. The piano bar was a good time then it turns into a club. Aura was a ton of fun. The bartenders were just awesome, great attitudes and delicious drinks. I love how they also teach dances to anyone that's interested. Llavron was awesome! He memorized our drink orders daily and the other bartendar at Aura was great. Just didnt get his name. If you need transportation to go to Ricks or anywhere else make sure to ask for Leroy!!!!!!!!! Trust me on this one. He is very punctual and will return to pick you up. Super convenient and reasonable price. We already cant wait to go back! It was one of the best beach vacations we've had.
