I’d stay again!

Clean, modern, decent size room and substantial breakfast plus reasonable walking distance to the city centre.

Friendly and nice reception desk staff. Cozy Room setup. breakfast has plenty of options to choose from, with a relaxing and quiet environment around.

The hotel itself and the facilities were a bit old. We were surprised at check-in when we saw the hotel still uses keys and not keycards for opening the rooms. The lift was quite old as well and a bit too small, but in good conditions. The room’s interior was nice and clean enough though. Comfortable beds, but pillows not as much. Decent breakfast: not many options, but really good quality. The location was very good, a few minutes walk to bus, metro and tram stations and pretty close to city center (30-min walk).

All was great. Great location, quiet, wonderful neighborhood, great breakfast, nice and helpful concierge. My only issue is the carpeting in the room. As a person with allergies, I do better with plain flooring.

It was so far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed, great staff, clean premises, excellent service and very spacious room. The reception people very helpful, thank you very much, fully recommended. Richard

Hotel was easily accessible through public transport. We requested late checkout but declined. We believe one hour could be accommodated easily.

I like everything. Friendliest , cozy spaces, clean, "Aldi" around the corner. Buy water, quick bites, bear.

Nice hotel, but small selection for breakfast

Lacking a bit for a business trip

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a kettle to make some tea, and there wasn't an iron and ironing board. The rest was fine for a business trip. The hotel is a bit dated but it's clean and breakfast is fine.

The hotel was nice and clear but the rooms were way smaller than the ones showed in the pictures. The staff was great and welcoming.

Great staff at reception - helpful & efficient. Rooms are fine and have all the basics, and represented good value for money. Breakfast was ok, coffee was rubbish but hot food was ok. General area is fine with tram lines / metro 5 mins walk away and a large shopping complex (with supermarket in basement) just around the corner. Its about 10-15mins walk into the city centre / main tourist places. Hotel itself is on a quiet back street and about 30mins in a taxi to the airport in light traffic

The location is very good. The taxi arranged by the hotel was expensive.

Greeted well and quickly dealt with. Secure parking. Hotel is very clean and tidy. The room was immaculate, very modern and comfortable. I even had a little balcony to enjoy the sun from. Complimentary water on arrival. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and no shortage of it. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The location is a short walk into town, a great spot and a lovely hotel.

Enjoyed this local neighborhood jewel of a hotel.

Enjoyed everything about our stay at the Corvin West Wing Hotel. The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend as great value for anyone going to visit Budapest.

Very well mannered and helpful staff. We got a free upgrade to a family suite, and it was a true delight - bright, spacious and clean. Breakfast options are a bit limited but the high quality and great taste more than makes up for it. Great location as well - most major attractions are 10-15 minutes away by metro. The nearest metro is just 400 yards away. Overall, highly recommended!

Disappointed, lack of room amenities, such as no kettle, no stand to put suitcase. Shower cubicle too small 750mmx750mm, you end up brushing against the tap, resulting in change of water temperature.

The room was not heated enough when I checked in..

Pleasant stay

A 2-3 star hotel, but not a 4star hotel

Not a bad hotel, but not a 4-star hotel. The pros: nice, quiet area. Bedroom was made daily. Would be a suitable 3* hotel. The cons (things I would not expect in a 4-star hotel): - minibar empty - bedroom walls had streaks/stripes (needed repainting) - bathroom used those horrible fixed shampoo bottles - fixed shampoo bottles had grime, dirt and limescape deposits underneath (not visible unless you looked from underneath) - no bathrobes, no ironing board, no slippers in the room - window opened above hotel entrance, which resulted in cigarette smoke getting in the room when the window was opened - breakfast was appalling for a 4*... Hot breakfast consisted of 4 items: scrambled eggs (were overcooked and had bacon - not vegetarian), beans with bacon (not vegetarian), porridge and meat sausages. The usual "continental sides" were present (toast, cereals, ham, cheese etc). There were no fried eggs, no poached eggs, no bacon (alone), no pancakes, etc. The orange juice came from a machine that mixed chemical concentrate and water... In summary, a good 2* hotel, or an average 3* hotel... but definitely not a 4* hotel

Flaky Internet

We were in the 4* wing of the hotel. While the breakfast was good with a wide selection and the room was very spacious, the room amenities for a 4* hotel could be improved at little cost. For example, the internet was veryintermittent, there were no tea or coffee making facilities, there was no iron and insufficient shelf space in the bathroom. The mattress was very hard on the back but a request for 2 duvets helped to soften it and made sleep more comfortable. The staff were generally polite and helpful.

Decent 3.5 star hotel, good location. Superior room felt relatively recently refurbished. Large room with two comfortable sitting chairs and a desk area to work. Medium hardness bed. Effective air con. Small safe - too small for a laptop. Bathroom fine with squeeze soap and shower gel (kinda 3 star that). Tasty if limited breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. Very poor wifi - unusable (I had to rely on my mobile data to get anything done) which eliminates it as a business hotel for anyone without a data plan that covers Hungary.

nice hotel in a very quite street not far from down town and many restaurants and bars around

1st visit to Budapest.

All the staff were really nice and friendly,especially the reception staff. We arrived early, about 11.15. and thought we would have to leave our bags until later but the room was ready and we got it straight away. Breakfast was lovely especially being able to have outin the garden/courtyard. Location is good minutes from several tram lines and a metro station. WiFi was a bit slow but you’re on holiday. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good clean hotel, Staff very friendly and helpful

Reasonable location - not too central so quieter and better value than some others. If you don't mind walking 20-25minutes to downtown or get a metro. Actually we enjoyed the walks as weather was great. Room was very good - we had the triple room in Corvin wing. Spacious and good quality beds. Breakfast was average food-wise, but sitting out on terrace for morning coffee was good experience.

nice hotel, brkfst in the court yard with umbrellar and trees birds singing everything is nice. only caution is the location in a small street that you need to remember how to get back walking.

Ok for the price, but too many little things wrong

Modern lobby with friendly and helpful staff; peaceful outdoor area with nice surroundings;most tourist attractions are at least 20 min by walking, but location very convenient to the subway and street cars. Room was clean and cozy, but the wifi was horrible, and the air conditioning was out of service for the entire hotel during our stay (and the staff did not feel a sense of urgency in it getting fixed). On our last day, hot breakfast items ran out about a half hour prior to the end of the time range, and weren't replaced.

Very pleasant

Was given 3 * room for 1st night as 4* not available, but next 2 nights moved to most luxurious room/suite. Only down side was very hot in room. Breakfast perfectly adequate including cooked, cereal, yoghurt, fruit & various breads/rolls.

Great location

Nice clean hotel, great location close to transport links and city centre. Would benefit from tea and coffee facilities in room. Other than that, faultless. Staff were friendly and helpful. All areas clean. Great breakfast. Very happy with our stay 🙂

Valuable stay

Travel as a family of three. Meet our basic needs. Valuable stay. Clean and spacious. Convenience location. Staff is very helpful. WiFi signal is weak. No in room coffee pot.

Break with friends

The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walk from Corvin metro station on the M3 line, from where we could get anywhere we needed to go. The hotel itself is extremely clean and well maintained, and we had no issues during our stay. I would definitely recommend, and stay here again if visiting Budapest.

We stayed in new part of the hotel, the room was small but the beds were arrange differently. Two beds were laid out such that both feet were facing each other. I had never seen such an arrangement of beds.

Good 4 star

Great hotel. Couldn't do anything more to make our stay comfortable. Only 1 issue, the air conditioning wasn't working in our room. But this wasn't reported as we had the window open.

Superb Hotel close to the Danube and City Centre

Hotel was far better than the rating which had been given. Staff were very friendly and helpful when asked for directions to various places of interest. Breakfast was substantial each morning and well presented. The showers in the room were probably the best we have ever had in all the years in which we have been travelling and that is many years. Hotel was spotless.

Great hotel

Hotel is located below all the hustle and bustle of the city center- convenient to the free blue busses. In 2 stops you are at Fovam the city market. Rooms were clean, bed was a little hard for me but my husband said it was good. Nice showers and clean. Mini fridge to keep our water and daily snacks. The staff is wonderful! They went above and beyond helping their guests. They speak English very well and are very knowledgeable with the city. I am glad this was my hotel for our 5 days!

4 night stay in Budapest

4 star luxury for half the price

Had an amazing stay in the Corvin hotel corvin wing, the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the beds were perfect, would definitely recommend a stay here for the great price and great location near to the metro and trams and only about 3 stops on the metro to the main shopping and restaurant area in Budapest. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast had a great selection of foods. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Budapest

ottima struttura, pulita, le stanze sono grandi e inoltre è vicina alla fermata del bus 100E direzione aeroporto…se proprio dovessi trovare una pecca sono gli asciugacapelli, da cui esce poca aria e quindi ci si mette un po’ di più per asciugarsi i capelli, ma è una piccolezza in confronto agli aspetti positivi

Un hotel en una zona tranquila y cerca de una para del metro, la habitaciones limpias y cómoda ( una habitación de 3 personas con tres camas). El desayuno correcto, no mucha variedad, pero de buena calidad. La atención del personal fue estupenda. Recomendable por la calidad/precio

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit immer freundlichem Empfangspersonal. Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt auch im geschützten Innenhof möglich. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten in höchstens 50 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Lädt zum Wiederkommen ein⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Verkehrsgünstige Lage, Tram und Metro schon nach wenigen Metern zu erreichen. Trotzdem relativ ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück mit allem was man braucht. Auch hier war das Personal sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hatte viel Ablageflächen. Einziger Kritikpunkt war die Reinigung unseres Zimmers. Wie wir erst am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes mitbekommen haben, sollte man ein Pappschild an die Tür hängen, wenn man ein Aufräumen des Zimmers wünschte. So wurde unser Zimmer an 3 von 6 Tagen nicht gereinigt. Eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung oder zumindest ein tägliches Leeren der Mülleimer sollte in einem 4- Sterne-Haus selbstverständlich sein.

Hotel eccellente, molto pulito (ad eccezione della moquette in stanza macchiata), colazione buona, posizione comoda per tutti i mezzi di trasporto, quartiere silenzioso e tranquillo, personale poco reattivo e empatico.

Fint - men ikke et 4-stjernet hotel!

Jeg havde forventet mere af et 4-stjernet hotel. Værelset lugtede horribelt, da vi kom ind. Stort plus med en altan! Sengen og puderne var ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Morgenmaden var egentlig fin - ret standard. Rigtig fin lokation tæt på centrum med offentlig transport meget tæt på, supermarkeder, barer og restauranter lige rundt om hjørnet. Jeg vil max ranke det her hotel med 3 stjerner.

Sehr nettes Personal, hatten ein großes Zimmer, ein Sessel war kaputt ,es wurde sich gleich drum gekümmert . Wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen.

El hotel está muy bien, las habitaciones amplias y limpias. El desayuno muy bueno. EL personal del hotel amable y profesional. EL hotel está un poco alejado del centro (unos 30 min andando hasta el mercado central), pero tiene en metro muy cerca.

Um hotel que jamais poderia ser classificado como 4 estrelas. O atendimento e as condições da acomodação são razoáveis. Quarto pequeno demais! O que salva é a localização e o café da manhã.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti. Arrivati in albergo prima del previsto, camera già pronta check in anticipato. Albergo non proprio centrale ma in zona tranquilla e con tutti i mezzi vicino. Colazione buona e varia. Camera confortevole e pulita.Unica nota negativa aria condizionata ancora non in uso. Personale cortese e disponibile, servizio di deposito bagagli efficiente.

Städning är ok ingen anmärkning.Frukost ser jättebra ut bra valmöjligheter MEN tyvärr det som skulle vara varmt är ljummet nästan kallt.Det förstör det hela.Rummet vi har valt såg jätte bra ut på bild men väldigt lite i verkligheten sängen och toan är alldeles för låga svårt att resa sig För det priset finns det bättre hotel

Hotel comodo per la vicinanza alle fermate dei tram 2-4-6, che collegano con il centro. Stanza molto ampia, calda e soprattutto pulita!! Colazione abbastanza fornita: consiglio!

Freundliche Begrüßung an der Reception. Ich habe sofort mein Zimmer bekommen obwohl ich schon am Vormittag ankam. Alle Fragen an der Rezeption wurden kompetent und freundlichst beantwortet. Ich habe diesen Mitarbeiter schon von früheren Besuchen in diesem Haus in guter Erinnerung. Je nach Team war es beim Frühstück - am 1.Tag Super und vor allem sehr sauber - am zweiten Tag sehr verbesserungswürdig. So wurden die Tische beim Gästewechsel nur sehr oberflächlich geputzt und das Rührei meines Vorgängers war noch zusehen.

Hyggelig opphold med venner

Meget hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen og alle rommene var klare ved ankomst selv om vi kom tidlig. Pene rene rom. Det gjorde ingenting at det var litt avstand til byen da det var så kort vei til trikk og metro. De kunne vært litt flinkere til å fylle på frokostbuffeen, men alt i alt helt greit. Nøkkel til safen på rommet manglet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.
