The view, the service, the food were great

Honestly, the worst all inclusive in Cancun. Ive been coming to Cancun for 30 years and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely disgusting and the drinks tasted like cleaner. Only drank beer and swam in the ocean the entire time. I only ate one meal that was at the Italian restaurant which wasn't very good either but at least palatable. I lost 15 lbs in 6 days at this hotel because the food was so bad. It was Coral level too. Seriously, there are so many better choices in Cancun. This one should be burned to the ground.

Stayed at this resort just before the Christmas holidays. Excellent restaurant choices and you have the option to spend time at its lovely nearby resort.

Booking at the adults only section made the vacation way more enjoyable

Not a true adults only hotel

Whilst advertised as an adults only hotel, the hotel is a small section of the main family resort. All of the a-la-carte restaurants are within the family resort, therefore when expecting a holiday with no children running around it was not the case. Additionally, on occasions families would settle on the adults only area of the beach. Food - whilst never expecting to be blown away by an all inclusive and accepting the buffet could be cold. Every a-la-carte restaurant also serves incredibly cold food. Not to mention the challenge of getting in to an a-la-carte restaurant due to not being able to prior reserve a table. One evening we would have had a 2 hours wait and put our name on the waiting list at 6pm (very early dinner on holiday!) Nevertheless, the staff were always extremely friendly and attentive. Hotel was overall ok but not blown away to say we’d go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Ernesto and his team welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. Very professional and transparent. Look forward to staying again!

Usually I don't like their cocktails when I go to Mexico, but I fall in love with the cocktails of this hotel.

Everything about this location is top notch. The staff is super friendly and professional. My room was gorgeous and very very clean. The view from my balcony was breathtaking the The bars were stocked with a Great selection of top shelf alcohol. The beer selection was limited selection, but it was OK. They make great cocktails. I only ate at two of the restaurants LaHorma, which is the Italian restaurant and I had spaghetti Cacio e Pepe. It was delicious then I stroll over to the Mexican restaurant and had dessert, you have to try the cornbread with the cinnamon ice cream on the side. It was amazing. The buffet had allot of options, but I enjoy very well seasoned spicy food and I don’t think they had anything for my palette. Nonetheless, the food was fine. I also ate at the outdoor option on my last day on the Seleccion side. They were grilling chicken and that was delicious. It was one of my favorite meals from my stay. The wait staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your meal and are never in need of anything. You will never be thirsty or have an empty glass here. I’m a dummy and I can remember peoples names, but I wanted to thank my housekeeping lady. I was in room 4603, she was a super nice lady. She runs around the room at a super high speed while still maintaining conversations. I loved her and I didn’t see her on my way out to thank her properly. My room was spotless. The location is breathtaking!!! I recommend Iberostar Coral highly

Great Experience

all staffs are very friendly and working hard and the buffet are good.

The property was stunning and had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff could have been a little friendlier but all in all we had a good experience and would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Saby & Valeria made our experience here super special. Very attentive and fun to be around.

The first evening we were not provided with a King Bed as requested, understandable as it is not guaranteed - but we didn’t travel to sleep apart. The next day they allowed us to move rooms, however our A/C went out for the entire evening and were instructed to open our balcony instead. We encountered another A/C issue later in the stay and for our past two nights had limited hot water that was never rectified. We had a good time in spite of the facilities issues. We have had several stays at their Grand Paraiso where we never encountered these kinds of issues, especially without any recovery effort. This trip was of similar cost but without good room conditions or the same warm hospitality touch.

The wonderful staff made this a great experience.

Property was clean, safe, quiet and room and view was beautiful. Rooftop “pool” not warm enough this time of year for us. Food was just ok. Staff and spa services wonderful. Closest to airport for shuttle drops/pickups. Uber to La Isla was simple and safe.

The property was beautiful. The room was always cleaned impeccably. The service throughout the resort was good. The food was excellent in the Italian restaurant, fair to good in the buffet. The beach was clean. We did not receive the VIP benefits. The concierge was informative but tried to get us to listen to a presentation. Overall it was a good stay.

The property is rated as a five star hotel. It is far from it. Some of the Hotel staff are exactly as friendly as others. Elevators were out of operation as well as other inconvenience that you don’t wish to run into when you’re on vacation. First two days at the hotel, we’re not good. When they found out, we were not enjoying our stay. They tried to make every effort to correct that. I can appreciate what they did but still not exactly a five star luxury VIP situation. There are better hotels than this in Cancun.

We were shuttled to the adult only section and the view is stunning! We were greeting with a wet towel and the scent the lobby and other common areas have are spectacular. I love the views from the room. All of them have a tub on the balcony! Can’t wait to come back

The room was absolutely stunning.. house keeping was fantastic. For an adults only resort, i expected more options for entertainment, was slightly disappointed as I was there for a girls trip. The food was ok. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves

Customer service was exceptional everyone is so nice and we are LGBT couple we felt safe and included. We celebrated our third year anniversary in coral level iberostar cancun. It was our first trip to Cancun I chose this hotel because of it’s cleanliness. Our stay was amazing. Food was exceptional and all the staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. I am glad I chose this hotel.

In many parts of the Resort At many times at certain dining facilities the lack of a working Air conditioner Elevators made it very uncomfortable The Room that we were assigned we had to keep restarting the air conditioner with the controller on the wall because it would cut out and stop working

Leaving your adults only resort for dinner or lunch surrounded by a bunch of children screaming and yelling kind of defeats the purpose of staying at an adults only resort

Me gusto lo tranquilo que es el hotel, no me gusto que por 2 ocaciones necesite cosas en mi cuarto y se tomaron demaciado de tiempo en llegar la ultima ves necesitaba unas toallitas y nunca llegaron con ellas

The entire staff of the hotel went above and beyond! The bartenders, wait and hotel staff, entertainers, and everyone in between made this a vacation to remember! We truly enjoyed this resort. The only thing I would maybe add are a few discounted excursions. Other than that, it was great! Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

The property was very clean and well kept. The room was cery nice but the room service wasnt that great. The only thing that was good from the room service was desert. Ive been to many resorts but this is my first time going to one in mexico actually first time in mexico as well and i have to say the service is ok the people who work there are nice but not very good with vibing with people. I mean i would give cery nice tips the them so that they woukd feel happy about working and half the time the tip would just sit there and i would hace to ask them repeatedly to take and they still wont take it rifht away. Its like they dont really care much for conversing with people just want to work and go about their day. I also spoke with them in english and in spanish to make conversation but they don't really bond like that as ive experienced in other resorts. They are nice but not very friendly. The peole who work there are the ones that will make the experience fun for the guests but this place doesnt have the employee with good vibes. Other than that the place is nice and clean and the beach water was amazing.

Food is mediocre at best. No drinks (non alcoholic) delivered via room service. Water not replaced daily. Only two elevators and one was down.

Excellent property, great friendly staff, restaurants are really good and are first come first serve basis. A specialized restaurant for Seafood lovers. Night time activities were good but can be improved. It sits on a corner for hotel zone so little away from city noise which I personally liked. You always have the option to a bus to go to the hotel zone central area

Had a lovely stay. From the upgraded room to the very end with a late check out. The waitstaff around the pool was top tier. I did not catch her name but it started with an E. Ramirez at the restaurants. Alex from the entertainment team. Food was good. Pool was great. Location was great. Only complaint was the 4th floor was musty smelling in the hallway but may have been due to the recent hurricane.

Fantastic! Superb service

The property was nice I excepted more from the front desk. I had to ask 3 people how to get to my room and each person told me a different answer. I would like to give it another chance but I was disappointed

Safe and top service

Overall it was an OK stay. A big negative was the controlled AC. The ac in the room stayed at 19 to 20 degrees C. We would have liked to control the AC. 19 degrees was the lowest it would go and it didn’t feel like 19. There was really no real VIP service other than being away from the Selection side of Iberostar. To participate in the VIP services, you would have to sit through a 1.50 hour presentation. We did not feel a wow factor.

My stay at the Coral level started with a golf cart ride tour. The driver pointed out ple tt of places we would want to know about on the property. Then as we got to the check in lobby for Coral level the view of the ocean was stunning. Check in was quick and smooth. Welcome drink and a cool towel while we signed in and got our bracelts. Room was beautiful and the view we woke up to every morning was fantastic. Entertainment good food and beautiful country was a perfect vacation.

This place is exceptional. Perfectly located, exceptionally maintained, delicious food in all restaurants (especially the main buffet), and, most importantly, excellent staff, who make it all possible. We will be back.

First time experiencing an all inclusive resort. Loved my experience! Great views & a lot to do around.

Super friendly staff - thanks to Saby from the bar/service team and Erick from the entertainment team for going above and beyond. Lovely rooms and views all around. Great food in the Coral area - both buffet and theme nights. Music tended to be a bit loud during dinner - fine during the dance performances. Drinks at the coral level and coffee at the star cafe (thanks Raisa!) in the main lobby were awesome. Food in the main hotel a la carte restaurants was quite disappointing. Mexican restaurant was particularly uninspired and 3 out of 4 dishes from the American bistro had to be sent back as they were completely cold. Hibachi was a fun and fresh, but selection is pretty basic. I would honestly recommend staying at the coral level for all meals - even the snack bar had great burgers and quesadillas.

Stayed at the Coral level of Iberostar (adults only) and it was fantastic. The pool is gorgeous and right on the ocean so you get the best of both worlds. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The only critique is that the pillows were not the comfiest. Would absolutely come back here every year

Rooms and landscape were excellent. Many food choices, but taste was just average. Location to shopping and tourist attractions were about 15-20 minutes away. Better for someone looking to relax in an all-inclusive environment. Not the best for excursion access.

The Coral level is perfect to get the best of both worlds when it comes to accessing the full resort but being able to escape from kids if needed.

The view at the hotel was fantastic and very kind staff. It just Food was not impressive.

Very friendly staff, beautiful room and pool. The steak house, hibachi and Italian restaurants were great. The buffet food wasn’t good at our building, there was no premium alcohol in our room and there wasn’t much to do on a rainy day. The Brazilian night was disappointing. The show was short and the meat was overcooked. (we regretted not going to a restaurant instead). Overall, it was a good vacation but probably won’t go back to this location.)

Fun and comfortable.

The food at La Barca is really great quality. The activities are fun. Wish more improvement on management of the beach chairs. (yes, if you get there late, you will have no spare one to get, as people are occupying them by putting a towel on the chair since 7am but not use it until late of the day, the towels are still there until the afternoon after they used the beach chair, so it is really hard to find an empty one to us).

This resort was excellent! The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, they keep things clean and organized, and the area is lovely. My one and only critique of the place would be the food. Most things are buffet style, but some of the restaurants are good, overall not the greatest food but apart from that, great resort, really enjoyed our stay.

The first day i purchased a hamburger, went to get a drin 30 feet away and the staff took my food and ignored me when I asked why. While swimming in the ocean a lifeguard treated me like a criminal and threatened me with expulsion from the hotel. Other guests were swimming in the same spot the next day with no issues. Simple explanations to guest could have prevented such negativity.

IBEROSTAR COREL LEVEL CANCUN My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Corel for 8 nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. This property is breathtaking and the hospitality was outstanding! Our junior suite was very large and had an oceanfront balcony, a hot tub with a little table and chairs to sit on, and maid service came 2x a day to straighten up and refresh our towels. The infinity pool was beautiful and cool with the swim up bars and grill side restaurant. The pool staff was always trying to get people involved in activities, I danced and did the “Macarina”. The beach was extremely clean and we loved walking amongst the property. Because the Corel Level pool would sometimes be crowded, we would go to one of the pools on the Selection side and lay under a grass hut. The Buffet at the Corel level was very fresh and had a great selection of food, the Teppanyaki Naga Hibachi, Italian and Steak House restaurants were delicious! 😋 WHAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Need to add fans to the bathrooms because the mirrors fog up; improve the quality of the buffet on the Selection side; improve the Mexican restaurant (menu was very limited and we were in Mexico, LOL); some of the bartenders could have been better), entertainment shows were average at best (singers were ok, some of the dancers were awesome) - but shows were a little hokey. Overall I would give this property 4/5 stars.

Nice property, one of the best resorts i have stayed in. Food is good and but the staff is really what make this hotel one of the best.

Just finished the 5 days all inclusive vacation at Iberstar resort. I like the hotel is pretty new. I love the room TV has chrome cast I can pair to case Youtube or Netflix. Room has Bluetooth speakers you can pair to play song on your phone. Patio has massage jacuzzi which is great too. Food is great and with lots of options to choose. But Japanese restaurant not recommend. Couple things I feel they can improve is (1) shower and hoses sometimes too hard to switch to get cold or hot water. (2) Beach chairs not enough umbrellas and a lot of booth or chairs under umbrella were occupied by others from early morning. (3) I hope they can get better coffee.

Great experience. Friendly service but often slow. Main building restaurants should take reservations the lineups were very long. Check in and front desk amazing. Decor was beautiful. Would go back.
