Really enjoyed my stay. The facilities are great - especially the private beach and bay as well as choice of restaurants. They give you a map when you check in - you definitely need this to avoid getting lost! Got a great room upgrade as a premium Expedia member. Highly recommend.
Really beautiful hotel resort boasting rooms with breath taking views. Staff were very friendly but slow service with poor food options. The only decent dining options were the breakfast buffet and the fine dining restaurant.
Tired and past its best.
The hotel is tired and sadly well past its best. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the overall feel is that it has seen its best days. The beach is nice, but a fight for the limited number of umbrellas and beds.
We loved the hotel, facilities were spotless and staff were helpful and welcoming. Plenty of free parking was a real plus. If you are not all inclusive you may find you need to travel for dining options other than the nearby sports bar. Location is great for exploring the nearby nature reserve and less busy beaches.
Beautiful hotel - can’t fault it
Dears, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unsettling incident that occurred today involving my family and myself at your esteemed establishment, specifically outside the Armonia Restaurant. While we were peacefully sitting and drinking coffee, we noticed a cat with a plastic bag stuck on its tail. My child was watching the cat from a distance. When the cat approached him, he suddenly became scared and started screaming. Out of nowhere, a man from another side approached us, using foul language and accusing us of putting the bag on the cat and laughing about it. He hurled insults at me, my family, and my country, and threatened us while shouting. I tried to calm him down and asked him to stay away and not be rude, but he continued his aggressive behavior. As I was speaking to him, his wife also got involved, and the situation escalated. I then requested the restaurant staff to call security. Security arrived and assured us that an investigation would be conducted based on the camera footage in the area. I kindly request that this investigation be taken seriously and that you provide me with feedback regarding the outcome. I seek to ensure that appropriate actions are taken against this individual to protect my rights and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Wonderful vacation for our family, we especially loved the art center and the marvelous teachers. Great vibe, spectacular setting, delicious food…I hope to be back next year. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable family holiday!!!
Property was good but a little old. Staff and service were excellent. It’s a little remote with not much around in walking distance.
It's conveniently located but too noisy
A nice stay but definitely not 5* - we went end of March and there were a number of issues including no aircon in the rooms before May despite a heat wave and complaints for numerous guests about the tempreture in the rooms (staff were rude when asked, had a few fans but had run out showing how many people were having an issue with this), pool not heated so absolutely freezing, slides not open, if we ordered drinks or food at the lobby drinks were always forgotton and food could take up to an hour, only 3 adult tennis rackets available for the 4 courts etc.
Lovely stay and family getaway.
The hotel in general was really good but the beds were very hard and we did not sleep well. The food was really nice and the staff very friendly. The location is good with nice restaurants around. The room was spaciouse and well equiped.
A very nice place!
Great place!
Great vacation. Good hotel, lovely room and views but the bedt was the service and food. Ive never seen such a delightful spread with such a wide variety of foods; all of excellent quality. We look forward to returning.
They try hard to keep the place clean and looking good but still, the place is a bit old and from my opinion, it needs renovation
Falsely advertised in coral bay wa & 0.51m to ningaloo reef, but in completely another country
,,
Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Everyone friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and service great.
Great stay
Good hotel for a family vacation Clean rooms, delicious and various food, spacious territory with pools and activities for adults and children Definitely recommend!
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Food was amazing every meal. Right on the beach. A big hotel but didn't feel overwhelming (clever layout) Lots of facilities and activities available. Singers/entertainments not really our thing so that was bit much sometimes. Also shower/bathroom was pretty basic. Overall Brilliant.
Hotel was great. Food was amazing. Pool was clean and great. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend
The staff and food were fabulous
This hotel is very nice and comfortable. It closes to the beautiful beach, it definitely a 5 stars hotel
Great and central
Lovely location. Hotel exceptionally clean, if a little dated. Breakfast very good, drinks not good at all. Didn’t eat there any other time. Staff were great too
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, wonderful meal with a wide range of variety to choose from. One of the chef, Antonia was kind enough to make me a soup that was not on the list. Great personal service. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Every night was an event. Great entertainment. We had a singer that sang some old classics beautifully. Really enjoyed it. Parking was easy and the hotel was easy to reach from the airport. The room we stayed in was very spacious and with a beautiful sea view. Overall, it was very good and one of the best holiday stay I’ve had in 40 years of travel.
This hotel is not 5 star by any means. The food was poor and there was no level of luxury to the hotel whatsoever. The hotel was huge and it felt like a factory. Facilities were average, and the dining options were incredibly limited.
Great location staff very friendly
We loved this place!
Fabulous resort, great location, definitely recommend!
The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. We had a couple of issues which were dealt with very quickly and ending up with a wonderful room upgrade. Our only issue would be there was only one option for evening dining which we felt was not great valve for money but we we're out of season. Lots of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel and complex was first class and we will definitely be going back for another very relaxing and luxurious holiday.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in
We went in the very off season in early February so it was pretty quiet but that was fine. The hotel was good, breakfast was fantastic. Made use of the bar a few times, prices quite reasonable. A decent 15-20 min walk uphill on to Coral Bay Ave where the restaurants were but downhill on the way back.
Easy and quick check in. Lovely breakfast. Good for families.
Great destination for a relaxing break. Various bars and restaurants are available. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. I only found out about entertainment tun by the hotel on the second week, it would be great if this was signposted at check in, but I had a really good time here.
Visited in October for 8 Nights. Firstly the weather; Sunny every day, virtually no clouds , I think it rained for about 5 mins one evening. Sea Temperature was same as the pool, warm. We initially booked a Studio Sea View, but as mentioned in other reviews the room was very dated and certainly wasn't 5 Star (maybe 3) . I've stayed in 5 Stars all over the world and this rating can vary from continent to continent, so I'm basing this on European 5 Stars that you'd expect in International cities. Basically the Hotel is split in two; one side for Families (the lower star rating) and the Adults only or executive side, more closley resembling a standard 5 Star offering. We checked out our booking and immediatley upgraded to the Executive side , booking a Superior Studio Sea View, which was beatuiful, spacious and very close to the Sea, Pool and restaurants (the hotel is huge, so this is an issue) this cost £400 for two people for 8 nights , which we felt was really good value as you also get VIP breakfast in it's own separate enclave with a small number of guests. The rooms on this side of the Hotel are all much closer to the 5 Star rating but not quite. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, the Hotel is beautiful as is the Location, with Sunsets every night. The location is a way out of the main town, so if you want more lively nights, maybe get a more centally located Hotel.
Wonderful oasis outside Paphos
Lovely hotel grounds leading down to beach and small marina, hotel staff excellent, everything very good, an oasis outside Paphos
You must stay here!
Our visit to Coral Bay was Lovely. The hotel was a lovely resort, with an all Inclusive option if you choose. They have an amazingly friendly and helpful staff- Marina at check in was able to extend our stay and Nikolas at the beach bar was friendly, a joy to talk to and a wonderful bartender. We were unprepared for how large the the resort was- a little Both of something for everyone. It’s no wonder people come and stay for Weeks. Lovely pool, beach, kids entertainment, activities and a cute surrounding area you could Explore For days!
Everything from reception through to the full organisation was fantastic particularly with 2 grandkids. The staff were exemplary with always a smile and a total can-do attitude. The offers in the main dining room were superb and perfect for kids who appreciated the change in emphasis each day. The staff on the outside terrace were particularly helpful and outstanding.
The Spa staff for the wedding preparation- hair , makeup and nails was amazing- very professional
Family resort
Wouldn't recommend for a couples trip but nice facility for a family. Lots of children. The staff is very kind and food is good but not an overwhelming amount of options.
Junior suite gave a brilliant location - 1st floor, with lovely panoramic views of the sea, and swimming pool only a short walk away. VIP breakfast room was nearby too. Staff uniformly welcoming and friendly. Menus in the buffet dining room were unadventurous and a bit 'samey' for the two weeks we stayed. On our first week there were not nearly enough sun loungers for all the guests, leading to a culture of guests "bagging" every available lounger early each morning, meaning we often missed out. It got better on second week as the hotel got quieter
Family trip
Perfect for families with young kids!
Excellent hotel, great stay
Clean, huge. Lovely staff and great food and facilities
Nice
The hotel deserves more than how it’s related because of its location which I believe is the best in the city. You can spend 3 days in that area and not feel bored. The hotel is clean, comfortable. However, it’s not that fancy. They have sea activities and that can’t be found in all the hotels.
okay but wouldnt book that hotel again
The rooms are quite outdated, big pile of dust on hangers etc. Unfortunately regular visits of cockroaches in the bathroom.
Mostly fine establishment, but the staff was deeply unpleasant. All requests were treated as though they were unreasonable, and the staff acted very frustrated an annoyed with all questions. There was no sense of hospitality, which is surprising at a five star resort. That said, the spa staff was absolutely lovely and so kind. Overall this place would have been fine if it was cheaper, but for the price you pay you shouldn’t get yelled at (or watch the staff yell at each other), or be made to feel like you’re causing a problem because you asked how to get ice.
We’ve just come back from a lovely stay. The first few days were a little shaky due to a large group of travelers (c. 100) staying there. They effectively took over the hotel, treated the place & the hotel’s staff horribly which resulted in a very chaotic and dirty feel to the hotel. That said the moment they checked out we then experienced what we had paid for. Delightful relaxed and chilled, village style resort with pleasant staff. Coral bay itself has lovely beaches but the strip itself is very average (although practical) however along the cliffs are exceptional venues for great food / sunset views. Spa experience was one of the best & the private beach is a treat! Thanks Coral Bay Hotel & Resort and be mindful of those large groups as it can take your beauty away!
No more than a 3 star!
The hotel was the biggest disappointment of our Cyprus trip. We were really looking forward to some luxury and pampering as the hotel was/is marketed as a 5 star hotel, but it is no more than a 3 star. Large parts of the hotel are dated, the furnishing is not great and food is average. Some parts of the hotel are dark and gloomy, especially the hallways. You do not have access to some services (steam/sauna) of the hotel even if you are staying at the hotel. The location too is not great apart from the sea side. The best thing about my time at the hotel was that my room had sea view, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel definitely has the potential to be a 5 star but needs a fair bit of investment.
Fabulous
Spectacular stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast, view ever better, close and convenient to restaurants, shops etc. I would recommend to everyone.
Older 5 star hotel but
I liked the sityuation, cleanliness, layout, and esoecially our rooms at ground level near to the beach..
The hotel room and amenities are great. It conveniently located right by the beach with beautiful views of the sea. One can take a bus from right in front of the hotel to Paphos. Alternatively, there are taxis available right from the parking lot as are rental cars. There is a COVID test facility just down the street (5-min walk away) for those looking to get a pre-departure test. The staff is fantastic and breakfast at the hotel is great.
Nice stay
We were staying for a short trip for a wedding The hotel was a bit dated but over all very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the pool area nice. There was a bit of a sun bed shortage even during an off season stay and the beer at the hotel bar was quite expensive
Loved it!
Short stay but really enjoyed time.
Hotel is excellent set in stunning location and staff very helpful and friendly.
Great facilities and very clean. Great service
It was nice, but we think the hotel needs to be renovated. We also think that the area around the pool should be cleaned daily. It was dirty and slippery. Breakfast was good.
My favorite in Cyprus
ITs my 15th time that i am staying at this Hotel and i think it says every thing. Magical location, beautiful view, peaceful, clean, breakfast included, the rooms are big and clean, you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the morning, the beach is next to you and the parking is free. What else to ask for?
Great Hotel
Great Hotel, nice people, lovely setting.. Will come again for sure....
Overall I had a fantastic stay at Coral Bay, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, they went above and beyond on many occasions. The service at reception was consistently fantastic, they even arranged a PCR test for me within 15 mins. I can’t fault a single part of the stay and it showcased the best of Cypriot hospitality. The resort itself is very well equipped, and has a private beach. It is beautiful and the best in the area. The food is also the best in the area, while the views are fantastic. In general the vibe in Coral Bay Resort is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. There’s a 615 bus stop right outside that takes you to Paphos for €1.50, and a supermarket across the road. What more can you ask for. I would return and highly recommend this resort, very pleased. Well done! It’s an even better bargain considering it’s not full yet due to COVID, take advantage and book it before it’s at full capacity! Thanks again to all.
Laid back, relaxing, private beach, good facilities, good coice of food ( all inclusive).
Not so good. Needs full renovation
Great holiday!
Great hotel - in spite of Covid the team really did a great job of looking after us in difficult conditions. We had a fabulous stay and look forward to coming back next year! PS. Small point - please swap out the halogen lamps in the snooker room for LED and turn up the aircon. It's great to have the snooker table and we really enjoy playing but the temperature must be 30+ degrees after playing for a while. Thanks!
Beautiful
Wonderful friendly place to stay. Private beach very quiet 😁 amazing staff stayed cheery and attentive despite wearing masks in the heat. Will stay again
Could be better
Arrived late at hotel, no available food and had to wait until the morning. Was told i had mini bar as first issue free but waited 3 days. If i needed beverage such as milk, tea and sugar i had to go to a bar to collect. Food was certainly below standard at the buffet and found evening buffet reheated or kept warm from lunchtime. Pool area and bar was good which was my highlight. I found reception staff rude especially when asking to leave case in safe place at check out, was told if not happy then take with me. Finally managed to get set menu meal after 3 days as limit on numbers available. Would i go back.... No
Stayed many times before . Always lovely and friendly staff . Good food and drinks . Great facilities. And always clean . The rooms needs updating.
This hotel is tired and need an overhaul. At this time with reduced rates it’s still good value. Staff are very good and helpful.
Excelent location, but room was dirty and smelled of mold, all-inclusive buffets were alright although some days was sort of "snooze you lose" for main dishes. Hotel is in dire need of renovation (it is quite old hotel) especially the hall carpets are a decade or two old and have a really funky smell coming out of them.
Not 5 star standard. Maybe a 4
Male waiter staff, look very cranky, and three ganged up on me because i misunderstood a vaguely stated sign about all inclusive guests being allowed to fill up on drinks. At breakfast you can take a drink, but some how the interpretation of it changes at dinner time. The manager was kind enough to provide me with a dining voucher, but staff need serious interpersonal training. Georgia on the other hand is brilliant. Smiles, is welcoming and makes you want to go back again.
Everything ok . The food was excellent . And the staff friendly
really lovely
Extremely friendly staff, beautiful setting , will come back
Hotel was lovely and location perfect. Staff were friendly and food and cleanliness was good. My big disappointment was the shower in the room. The handle fell off as soon as I touched it. I was only there one night but I was unable to have a shower, I had to have a bath which I did not like. I reported it when I checked out but no one showed any interest. The standard rooms need updating a little.
Everything was very good, location, hygiene, facilities, meals, beach, friendly staff. Unfortunately, guest relation is absence, no one care about how to spend your time in this resort, what you can do during your stay, how to spend your time, especially for the solo traveler. There are no entertainment activities even I stayed for 6 nights, at night there is nothing to do, no DJ no club no shows.. The hotel should think again about another swimming pool (for adults). They have just one full of children which is not enough for all guests. I suggest to book for (All inclusive) because you goona really find everything, three buffets meals, snacks, drinks included.. Besides, there are nothing to do n the city so it will be really difficult to find something outside.
The room was given an hour and a half later . The room is updated. In the bathroom the washing basin is broken and the outside of the bath tap is rotten . The second day (I stayed 4days) I complained at the reception that the balcony was dirty and there was a used tissue . I left and nobody bother to clean the balcony .
August Holidays
We where in an all inclusive package for 5 days (4 nights). Very nice hotel. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Descent breakfast. Average buffet for lunch and dinner. Snacks buffet was a disaster.
Amazing hotel
Everything was great!
Poor experience
Since we entered our room, the phone was unplugged, the TV remote not working, TV itself wobbly, channels showing in poor quality, impossible to watch. Next day the coffee station was not refilled, the chair in the balcony was broken (nearly fell of it cause didn't notice), requested at the reception to change it, however no one changed till the end of our stay. Called the other day to the reception twice to request more coffee, as it was not replenished by housekeeping, nobody picked up the phone and didn't call back. The floor of the room was not cleaned on the daily basis, one time the housekeeping didn't even collect the dirty cups with empty coffee and sugar sachets. The stain of spiled coffee in the balcony was never cleaned (not ours by the way). The gym had poor equipment (old and not functioning even), no towels, no water. During breakfast buffet my husband and I found 6!! dirty coffee cups, told the staff who was at that moment next to us, ignored us and even placed the same dirty cups back!!! Overall, the pool and the location were nice. However, the price for a stay at such Hotel is not worth it.
The Hotel needs to address a lot of issues
We stayed there many years ago and looking forward to a mini break. Unfortunately we were dissapointed as the hotel appeared to be ageing and showing its teeth. It needs a very good refurbishment. The furniture all round are decaying. The service at the breakfast was not the best and when a toast machine broke down and brought a replacement it was full in dust which went on the toast. It seems they were short staffed. As far as I am aware they did not adhere to allcovid-19 issues from the Ministry as people at breakfast would serve themselves with the same serving spoons from the trays and not handed gloves or be served by the staff!
Property was in a good location, but receptionist (only one in particular) was quite unhelpful and curt. Rest of the staff were very polite and courteous. Hotel ran out of small bottles of water so minibar fridge was not replenished daily. Noise from other rooms and especially from the bar was very disturbing if you are a light sleeper.
Very good hotel, quite busy considering the time of year. Very good facilities and room. A great value treat.
A beautiful two day break which was worth it.
It was a lovely two days , upgraded to a side sea view which you could hear the sea . Food was very good , spa was handy as heated indoor pool and jacuzzi which I used . The outdoor pool was freezing but some guests went in. I was lucky as school conference had finished and was not noisy. A older serious guests went done well and very friendly. Only thing I found difficult was the sleeping conditions, as on the beds are quilts with a top cover and NO cold air conditioning. 12c at night is warm.
Pleasant hotel. Spotlessly clean. Good food. Excellent service. Room was okay and bed was very comfortable. Common areas need some renovation, especially the furniture.
teriible accomotation
we leaved the hotel at the middle of the night becouse of the bad smelling of the mattres , curtains and the furnitures.also the bad smelling of coridors due the very old fittet carbets.
Very nice hotel food choice excellent.staff very helpful. Room was clean and comf
Average hotel
The hotel is definitely not a 5 star 🌟 I would say more 3 the location it self and views out to sea are beautiful Staff friendly and happy to sort problems but certain things that had to be sorted would never happen in a 5 star hotel My mountain view room faced straight on to pine trees and building work Only one bar open through out hotel Food nice but Luke warm Would I come to this hotel again ?? Only if got a good deal
Warm welcome, staff courteous and helpful, good facilities, just housekeeping needs a little more attention to detail. Very pleasant stay
Well..Not a 5 stars
The Hotel stopped at the 80's and it's in need for an urgent maintenance program. Location is amazing, so for sure the Team can do much better. Doing the booking you see pictures for the room expecting to get that but at the end it will finish with a disappointing open room door putting you thinking should I stay or should I go...No way to rate this Hotel for 5 stars or it's an old rate or the inspector did mess the paper work.
The set-up, the gardens, the pools and the inside decor were very nice. The thing that we would expect to be better was the food served at the buffet
Wonderful stay &great service! Thanks Coral Beach!
We had 40 family and friends celebration of a milestone birthday and the Hotel was fantastic with the arrangements! Everyone had a wonderful and memorable stay there... older resort but comfortable and rustic charm! Only thing i would say is our young hungry teens often wanted late night snacks which was a bit sparse, but guess it is off-season after all... and they did not expect hungry youngsters in the place!
Good location the spa advertises reflexology and diagnosis but in reality they do not do the diagnosis. A few areas are tired but great value off season
Amazing hotel with lovely staff. The food was brilliant
Excellent room size. Loved the outside spaces and choice of restaurants
Every thing was just great! We had winderfull time in coral beach hotel
The pool and beech were great. All inclusive was worth it as food was generally very good although fish and fruit was disappointing as lack of variety.
If you’re young with a family this is a perfect holiday destination. Very comfortable and well kept. Junior Manager Mr Yiannis is an absolute asset to the Coral Beach. His staff follow close to this 😊
Great facilities for kids at the hotel. The night life strip is about a 15 min walk away
There was no cold air in the rooms. When asked they gave a pretty crap response saying that it hadn't been set up for the warm weather yet and that was it. We were also given two single beds when we booked a double. They came up and wrapped a sheet over the two single beds. Hardly screaming luxury.
Excellent hotel with helpful and welcoming staff Great facilities for family. Would recommend

Beautiful standard of room and facilities even at the end of season
