Great location and security
Room was nice and large. No AC but there was a fan, we were above an area which stayed very loud with people all night and no AC meant windows had to be open but staff was friendly and allowed us to store our bags early
Nice but is it worth the price ???
Its a cute hostel and i ended making friends which was super nice. Staff is friendly and have breakfast. I think there were bedbugs so something to be careful about wherever you travel in Europe
A really nice hostel will friendly staff and comfortable bed.
I stayed two nights in a twin room. The view was beautiful and the hostel was in a very convenient place: 5 minute walk to the Piazza Unità and 20 minutes to the bus station. The room was clean and well furnished with two small dressers, a chair and two bedside tables. Check-in was a little confusing, as the entrance door is locked. You have to buzz the receptionist to have the door unlocked, then climb several floors to the hostel. They were ready to keep my luggage while I waited for check-in time. Breakfast is served from 8-10 am and has a good variety of items available. However, towels (hand and shower) were not provided, which was unfortunate because I would not have had the space in my small luggage to bring my own, even if I had known before arriving. Overall, this hostel felt safe even as a solo female traveler and was perfect for a short stay exploring Trieste. The whole hostel is nicely decorated, staff is friendly and other travellers are respectful.
What I liked: 1 convenient, closed to cruise port, walking distance from bus terminal, customer services What I don't like: 1. no visible sign of hotel (it is list as part to tenant of the building which I didn't expected.2. Hotel is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.
Great central location for the main sights and also for many restaurants in the area. Outside area tends to get noisy with nightlife and the hostel is on the third floor with no lift, so not suitable for those with physical disabilities.
Really good location in the center of Trieste. Very clean and nice large lockers for backpacks. Free breakfast is decent with fruit included too. Would be better with air con. I was ok as I was in bottom bunk with the fan in front of me otherwise too hot. Only other thing is the squeaky floor board. But this place is very chilled out with a really nice reception room too. It’s quite quiet but not sure you’d expect much else in Trieste. Very nice hostel and very clean too.
Really nice staff, cozy chill area and comfortable rooms! They don’t have gender separated dorms but as a female solo traveller I asked for a female only room and they made it work! They couldn’t guarantee it but if they have capacity they try their best to make it as comfortable as possible for their guests. Thanks for that!
So close to center
Very sincere and sweet place. My favorite thing is that it is right in the city center. Everything is very close. Great location. Only roommates are a bit unlucky unfortunately…
Nice little hostel
Ok hostel if you get it at a low rate. We stayed in a two man room, which was ok, except the bed was broken. We were only staying one night so I didn't complain, but that is obviously not good. Shared bathroom was clean and well kept. Lounge was cozy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Ich habe mich als alleinreisende, Bahn- Backpackerin definitiv wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!
Excellent Tout était nickel
Todo bien. Buena ubicación
Nice hostel in the middle of Triente. Clean and cozy.
The hostel is really clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. A kitchen where you can cook (except at night), a big room to hang out, clean and big rooms, comfortable bed bunks... one of the many things I enjoyed is that at night rest and silence were very important, so if you're looking for a cheap place to stay without giving up on rest/sleep, this is your place. The only thing I'd say as a drawback is that if you're in the city center (Piazza de l'Unità and surroundings), it takes between 20 and 30 min to get to the hostel, it's not in the city center. But if you walk near the sea, it's a nice walk. 10/10 recommended.

Don't do it
I thought I booked an ensuite but that wasn't the case. No air con and it was 34 degrees. Shower very dirty (shared) no t what we expected at all. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all,!!!
