There is a variety of food at the breakfast and dinner buffet, the deserts are particularly good. The location is good, being directly located on the beachfront promenade. The hotel itself would benefit from a refresh. Improved modern lighting, furniture and decorations in addition to improved ventilation would be recommended. This would help improve the atmosphere in the level -1 spaces.

Good for the price Note that if you book a room with a sea view, it’s a bit of a walk from the lifts, so if you can’t walk too long, reconsider Breakfast options are better in the general area in my opinion They give you bottled water only on your first day/night Staff were very respectful and kind though Other things are minor, good stay overall

Christmas break

Brilliant 3 nights over Christmas, staff are amazing, very clean ok some rooms could do with walkin shower but other than that perfect

Outstanding was the catering facilities for breakfast and the evening meals. Buffet style with a fantastic selection backed up by very friendly and extremely efficient serving staff.

We really enjoyed are stay here, we liked how there was restaurants and shops just across the road and down the road from the hotel. Plenty to do out and about, late check in and they have a restaurant for people that arrive late and haven’t eaten, breakfast was ok but no amazing! Glad we were just bed and breakfast and could go to different restaurants for tea. Staff were friendly and would recommend the hotel.

Constantinou Bros Athena Beach is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well finished, the bed was really comfortable. Pool towels are provided and every day fresh clean ones are left. We went on the all inclusive package and it was excellent - branded drinks, great food and choices of eateries at all meal times. Padded sunbeds are provided and there are plenty of them. The hotel is right on the sea front so we walked both directions once the heat of the day had gone. Its probably a mile and a quarter into Paphos town. There is a small beach in front of the hotel but it couldn't be described as sandy. The hotel provide a jetty which we and loads of other holiday makers used to get into the sea and you really needed that to cool off. One tip, all inclusive on your last day runs until the time you checked in on your first day so that was really good for us.

Excellent stay. Exceeded our expectations. The rooms could do with an update but thats a minor thing. We enjoyed having the perks of the elite package - Elite rooftop bar, extra restaraunt choices, able to book as many a la carte meals.

Great hotel and fantastic time with family!

We had a wonderful family vacation here. The kids loved the water slides and pool, we also had a great massage. The foods in the restaurant was very diverse and great. The only downsides are that it’s a bit outside Paphos so if you want to see the city itself you need a taxi. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming again

Had a wonderful family holiday here in May Half Term. Lovely food, helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and super kids programme! Our kids had a blast at the disco!

Wonderful hotel

We had wonderful time at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and let us feel welcomed. The food was outstanding, one of the best buffet we ever had. The pools are big and spacious, wonderful water slides for the kids. Beachfront and so much activities for the whole family.

First time to Cyprus and very much enjoyed a chilled out week at this hotel. The staff were all lovely, food very good, and all inclusive option very convenient. 10 mins from the airport via taxi, blue skies and blue sea. Just book it

It has what you need. Pools, restaurant, convenience store, although the rooms ans restaurant are a bit dated. I don't think the hotel AC was on during our atay, so the room was a bit hot and the fan did not blow much air, and not cool.

Very hospitable place, under 20 minutes from the airport - transfer can be arranged via the reception. Taxis can be arranged to go into town or the harbour.

Cheeky December Golf Trip

Great food great service, very welcoming and even opened breakfast up on the last morning for us. 2nd year in a row for us. All inclusive was great and the rooms super comfy. See you again next year

The hallways are a bit tired our bathroom too but the property is in a beautiful location and convenient for the bus and restaurant and medical plaza ipposite.

An excellent hotel with great amenities. My only issue, which didn’t affect our enjoyment was the intermittent wi fi. Sometimes it worked out on the sun beds or in the room but other times it kept dropping out. Still a brilliant holiday and I would certainly recommend the hotel to others. We plan to return in the future.

A week, all inc.

One week “elite” room stay. All inc. Food was excellent. Not a bad meal. Drinks, a bit hit an miss. Mixed bag across the bars. Things like bottled soft drinks in one and tap in another. No biggie but I really dislike soda pop guns. Won’t stop us returning though! A great week

My wife and I have now visited the Athena Beach five times. Each visit the overall facilities and appearance has improved. The addition of the new roof top bar was a boon on this occasion. Keep up the good work....Fully recommend!

Loved our stay

Beautiful hotel, good breakfast and excellent location

I visited with my family of three with a four year old. The check in was straight forward. The room was big and clean. Lots of activities for children and the pool area not too busy. The quality of food was ok but over the week it got a little bit boring eating similar type of food every day. There wasn’t much vegetarian option or much in terms of a kids menu.

How is this hotel not 5*?? We have stayed in several different hotels in the paphos area but athena is just a different world! For such a big hotel, everything feels so friendly and personal and you would never know that so many other guests were also staying there. We love everything about athena- location, grounds, facilities, entertainment but especially the friendlier staff. The blonde lady in the supermarket made my son's day by not only recognising him, but remembering his name from the year before!! Athena, you are our happy place!!

Wonderful hotel but even nice staff

We had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is wonderful, with sea views, great breakfast, kids activities, friendly and helpful staff, just amazing. they should be an expamle of how you run hotel. We would like to specially mention Stephanie from housekeeping for being outstanding. She really made our vacation. Stephanie met us on the first day while making our room ready and since then she was so attentive, she treated our little girl so nicely. Our girl has special needs and each time we went through the hallway Stephanie made her smile, It just warmed our hearts. We've been in your hotel more than 18 times already, and the level of service is something we can't find in any other destination. All the staff was very nice to us. It's very important for us to recognize the awesome work Stepahnie did, and we would highly appreciate it if you can let her managers know about the good feedback. I would also like to mention Odile , Assistant hotel manager for helping us with the a special request with a big smile.

Paid to upgrade to half board - a lot of money really but necessary as limited restaurants in vicinity and we had small children, No free water with dinner?? Paid for drinks that didn't arrive until the end of the meal. Generally polite and helpful staff except for the waiters on a evening. We had to explain each night that we had paid to upgrade that took a long time to resolve. Would stay again but would recommend not paying for dinner, very repetitive food options as well.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The service was excellent. Staff very polite, courteous and friendly. We once had minor issue with the room which was promptly dealt with. I will most likely be staying again whenever I’m in Paphos and highly recommend.

Anniversary at Constantinou Bros Paphos

I am going to be honest as usual superb Hotel. I was looking for faults. Could not fault anything. Food Excellent Location Excellent Service Excellent Room: Excellent We were upgraded for free as VIP Expedia guest. We got three bottles free wine and champagne for our anniversary, free basket of fruits, petals, they even allowed us do a small photos session on the premises. Thanks to Janine (the Manager). All staff were always willing to please. We were Full board so we got drinks included (lovely cocktails) lovely wine and champagne. In door pool was very nice, GYM was adequate, evening entertainment was lovely. Thank you every one at Anthena Beach Hotel, Mohammed, George, Lola, Janine, Erika, and many more, you guys were splendid. I will be back and I will advertise your Hotel. Thanks you

Used to be better..

Woul be all ok, but few points to mention: Wifi connection in rooms is terrible, several times a day you need to re-enter password and etc Inside heated pool is more like a lottery - water temperature varies from below 28'C - to 31'C and up. That is a big difference and this has not improved since we were on the same hotel last February Rooms are "cleaned" daily, however, if you look in corners, under the bed and even inside the closed - it seems those places are never cleaned. Pay extreme attention to what room type you book: side-sea-view room is sold as sea view and even superior sea view is actually - side sea view

Great Stay in Athena Beach

Efficient and friendly staff at check in. Room clean, it had great views of sea. Breakfast served its purpose, waiting staff proficient. Common areas and bars very good. Personally, Entertainment was not for me, but other guests clearly enjoyed. I have previously stayed in Athena Royal and would have no hesitation in staying with Constantinou Bros again. Thank you.

Coffee taken out of my hands

At home we always have breakfast then take a coffee into the lounge to relax. We had done this at the hotel for a couple of days then on the third day my husband was stopped and tol d he couldn’t take out of the restaurant, rather embarrasssing and the lady to the full cups off him I assume to throw away. Surely as a company you’re not that desperate to make money from a cup of coffeee that we could buy in the lounge not good and spoilt what up to that point was lovely. Needless to say we have now spent veggie little in the hotel and go down the road to a cafe called 2 for tea, they also a very good and reasonably priced menu, nothing is too much trouble for them. We extended our stay , I now wish we had made the effort to go elsewhere!!!

Awsome stay

Awsome. The people are so nice and the stuff at 9pm was so funny, the animation team was funny too, i loved it so much.

Fabulous

The hotel is in a great location, easily walkable to lots of restaurants and on a bus route for the harbour. The outside areas and pools were fantastic. Beautiful surroundings and very clean. Lots of entertainment in the day and night. The room was big and bright. The sea view was spoiled s bit by the roof of the lower floor restaurants. The only downside was the bed linen which did not fit the bed and so the sheets were always crumpled around my legs. Need to have fitted sheets that fit the bed.

overall is very clean ,nice hotel the staff are very friendly but the room service is very poor . we had to go to the bar to get some ice after trying on the phone for more than 15 minutes without success

This hotel need renovation. The food is not good. And the staff unprofessional. Not so clean and very old looking.

Very well run and friendly, top quality hotel. Food is of a high standard and the reception desk is staffed by well-trained, good English speaking, experienced people. Entertainment is good and a pleasant sea side footpath takes you all the way to Paphos Old Town if you want to explore. Will definitely use this hotel again on my next visit to Cyprus.

We went for the room and breakfast included. Only got to eat breakfast once as the bed was so uncomfortable we couldnt sleep meaning most mornings we couldnt get out of bed. Our backs hurt so much by the end of the holiday. Glad to be back home. Shame as Cyprus was lovely.

Cleanliness of hotel was of a high quality. Staff polite and friendly. Food from the standard evening buffet restaurant wasn’t hot enough. Pool too cold to swim. Lots of areas to bathe.

Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is an excellent 4 star hotel. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis which was well worth it. The hotel provides great food options at all meal times and there are several different dining options. An adults only restaurant is a superb idea. The drinks provided as part of the AI package are top branded options. Every evening live music was provided. These were all of a high standard. The hotel is right on the sea. It has its on small sandy beach. There are more than enough sun loungers provided both on grass looking out to see and around the swimming pools. All these are padded. Super comfy. The bedrooms are quite traditionally finished. But all very clean. The bed mattress was of high quality as were the pillows. Seldom you get this in a hotel. All the hotel's staff were excellent. Everyone speaks to you. They check if all is ok. All in all a highly recommended place to stay. Plus the weather was so good 😎😎.

Disappointing for the money.

The hotel itself is pleasant, the rooms need some modernisation as they're slightly dated. The all inclusive package seemed very difficult to make the most of. With the main buffet being quite samey, the pool/beach bar serving snacks but you had to be sat at a table order and not much choice for kids. The only bar open in the evening had table service with only 2 staff available to take orders service was at best slow. For the price I have stayed in much better hotels with better/ more convenient service. The staff were very friendly and helpful but seemed to be held back by a policy to reduce consumption via all inclusive guests. All in all I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel or the chain and my family and I won't be staying here again.

Lovely hotel

Slight issue with the wrong rooms being allocated on arrival but sorted after two nights . Very helpful and attentive staff.

Staff so friendly. The hotel has amazing facilities which are perfectly maintained. Food delicious and very reasonably priced. Entertainment team brilliant. Our maid was the nicest lady who made our room perfect every day. She didn't miss a single thing- anything which we'd used was immediately replenished and the room was always spotless. The water slides and splash park were fabulous for children. The lady in the supermarket was always so welcoming and we really enjoyed talking to her.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Lovely, large resort with lots to do to whether you want to relax or do activities. The private beach was a bonus and made for a beautiful view from our balcony every morning. We did half board and breakfast and dinner buffet options were extensive. The only negative is that it’s on the high road so though it’s a 5 minute drive to the harbour (where everything is) walking would be more like 30-40 minutes. We have a baby so cabs was our only choice and that became quite expensive.

Amazing as always

Wow! This is our 14th time at the hotel and we couldn't be happier. Amazing service, clean and wonderful surroundings, beachfront and great breakfast. We will definitely be back

The property was well maintained and clean. The food was of a good quality and good in variety. Housekeeping could have been a little slicker with some of the rooms not finished until late afternoon; early evening.

This hotel is in an excellent location by the beach and an easy walk into old Town Paphos. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. We booked half board and dined in the buffet resturant. There was a good selection of food each evening. The drinks were quiet expensive and the cocktails were bland. . If you are a drinker your better off with the all inclusive package. On a whole most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a party of 10 celebrating a 50th birthday and the staff went over and above to make our stay a pleasant one. We would definitely book this hotel again. Ps we had two kids in the party and they loved it.

Amazing hotel and experience. We are a family of 5 inclusing 3 grown kids . They loved it and so did we. Their all inclusive package is worth it.

Lovely hotel with great service

The staff at the hotel were lovely on arrival and throughout our stay at the hotel. Really helpful and accomodating especially with our 4month old baby. We went for bed and breakfast and the breakfast was delicious, great choice of food and tasted good. The indoor swimming pool was heated and warm to use with our baby as the outdoor pools were too cold in winter. Great sunsets at the beach area and a lovely walk along the sea to the harbour area with more restaurants. Great use of masks and sanitizers throughout the hotel during this 'covid' times and felt safe throughout our stay. A hotel we would recommend to visit if going to Paphos!

Outstanding hotel

We had wonderful time at the hotel. We stayed in many hotels, but this one was very special. The views are wonderful, the sea is so relaxing, the christmas decorations were outstanding, the room was very nice, felt new and clean. The most special thing was the staff. they were so nice, attentive, they really cared about us. We needed a doctor for our daughter during our stay, they took care of it in matter of minutes. we needed some help with the Covid PCR test- they gave us all the information. they basicly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. WOW! The food also was great, very tasty, plenty of variety to choose from. We will defenitly come back.

Amazing vacation

The stuff was very friendly. Stathis was there when we arrived. He gave us the feeling that we are the most important people at that moment. Everything was with a smile. Erato luli from the leda restaurant saw that my daughters were very hungry at the night we arrived and everything was closed...so she told them to come and eat something at the restaurant( at 23:00!!!!❤️❤️). Unbelievable people!!!! Such a big heart. I got an answer to every question i had. The rooms were clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. The food was great . I will come back for sure

Pleasant stay. Staff really make this hotel. Rooms a little bit dated but fine. Could really improve balcony/terrace to allow a better sea view. Buffet dinner choice poor and food quality not great. Well located to walk to Paphos town. Overall not as good as it’s sister hotel Constantinou Royal Athena where we stayed last time.

Pools, grounds, beach facilities were superb Wide selection of food at buffet breakfast , although "hot" plate items were only luke warm. Easy access to coastal boardwalk into Paphos or bus stop right outside hotel

The stay was very pleasant. For quite a large hotel, the service levels did not drop. Would definitely come back to this hotel again.

Great pool area, good breaky, cheap bar.

We were due an upgrade on arrival. Never got one, a day later the free wine eventually came. But the room facing the mountain side was also nice. Room was single beds pushed together and we had booked double. So the hotel, Pool is stunning, very clean, nice and cold and not too busy. Garden area nice and peaceful, lots of beds, can always find one. Bar area has great draught beer, 3e. Finally a decent price for a 4* hotel. No beach area really, same most of that paphos coast, u can still swim in sea using jetty. Breakfast is very good, 300 Tables with hot water and Coffee in flasks. This is great, no waiting and always hot. Buffet and cooked eggs of choice. All the other good stuff... All in all, good holiday hotel. good prices. Need some double beds putting in

Our trip to Athena Beach Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Our room was always clean and replenished when needed. The bathroom was extremely clean. The grounds of the hotel were neatly maintained. The food was delicious and we never had any problems with noise anywhere in the hotel. If we return to Cyprus (coming from USA) we will definitely stay here again!

Great staff and beautiful and clean rooms , breakfast and dinner was included, as well. It’s a big resort and you can use the pools around as well as walk the grounds. They also organize trips , ask for Katherine , she is very helpful !

We had a fantastic time at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach hotel! The room was spacious and clean with an excellent view of the pool and the sea. The food throughout all the restaurants was great and the range of drinks included in the All Inclusive package was brilliant. We also went to the indoor pool, the gym and the tennis courts. The staff throughout the hotel were all very helpful and nice. Amazing holiday - thank you!

The property had been refurbished since our last visit in 2019 to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and well maintained. There did not seem to be enough waiting or bar staff, many of which were very inexperienced. Service was too slow which we had not previously experienced at this property which was disappointing.

Loved staying at this hotel. Right on the beach front and about 20 minute walk to harbour along the sea front. The food was fantastic and the pool area and facilities were brilliant. Would definitely go back.

Great stay - but the hotel needs a bit of a revamp

A Great stay at the hotel - we would definitely come back! However I would say that the hotel is in need of a refurb to keep its 4* status. The decor is very dated and feels like a 1990’s fit out!

Very very bad first day the A/C was not working, so we asked to move us to another room and they did. After we moves in to the second room, I was taking a shower then the shower box flooded water and ran into to the room. We told the reception that we are very disappointed and tgey moved us to another new room and we find out the balcony door stuck and not working, the most ridiculous experience I had ever and very disappointed because I am and my honeymoon and they drowned it out

Great location. Very big so enough space for all the guests, it's one of these rare resorts where you don't feel squeezed. Very friendly staff. A lot of activities for children and theme nights. The food is very nice.

Cleanliness is the most important thing, Staff are so nice and friendly, i would definetely recommend and stay at this property again.

We had a good family vacation, the hotel is new and in good condition. The hotel was a bit under staffed, probably because of Covid-19 and the low occupancy. We will come back again.

Big hotel became even bigger.

It was my 5th time to this hotel. But this time I got a bit disappointed - hotel just finished expansion - added extra floor on top. It was big already, now became even bigger. In peak times it was crowded, now will be even even more crowded. Rooms however (from ground to 3rd floor) were not renovated during this construction. 4th floor and higher were still closed for construction.

Great location, beach front, lovely walk to Paphos harbour. Have visited Paphos many times and stayed in different hotels. Athena Beach suits us as we like to walk. Lovely hotel, rooms are very comfortable with good facilities - espresso machine, tea and coffee making, robes, toiletries, free WiFi.

The hotel was very bus so it must be doing something right but personally I will never use it again

This was a decent four star hotel. Good choice at breakfast, nice pool, tennis court and table tennis. Location was good, near a bus stop and only a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Most of staff were lovely however the reception staff were quite blunt and cold on occasion which I hated- you’re the first impression of the hotel, you need to be a lot nicer to your guests...

Positives Some excellent staff Cleaners were brilliant and very friendly Pool and sun beds great - nicely spread out so you get privacy Negatives Very poor range of food for people with dairy allergies. Pointed this out and was told if I had told them in advance.... put it in my booking 8 weeks in advance... hostess ignored my comments (and me for the rest of my stay).. but did point to their gluten free breakfast..? At best a language barrier at worst...? Well.... Watched a maitre dis “chew out” a pregnant girl twice in front of 15 guests... once at dinner- ironically she gave me the most prompt service for the two weeks I was there... Beds are old/ too soft- gave me a bad back In summary Great location, good facilities... poor range of food for dairy allergies... if you want a place that does things by the numbers go here... if you like attention to detail you may prefer this place to be your back up

A really comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, good choice of food and never a problem getting sun beds whatever time you ventured outside

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (our 3rd at the hotel) and each time it has improved. The quality of the food in the restaurants is extremely high as is the service. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so much fun.

Quality of service

We have been at the Constantinu royal hotel Its was perfect! Big recommendations:) Very good and professional staff very good Breakfast like kings! The hotel is amazing!!!

Pools are very nice, lawns are great, food is really good, spa is nice. The beach is a little rocky and full of weeds for some reason. I hardly saw anyone swimming in the sea during our stay, but otherwise, the hotel is truly wonderful.
