Spend my birthday at the Conrad. Excellent staff, room, and hotel! Definitely plan to visit again. I’m a local so I can’t wait to visit they’re rooftop!

Wasn’t really great this time around. I felt like I got an “Expedia room.” I got a suite but it was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty with grime, the toilet was dirty upon arrival, they didn’t have the room ready until about 2 hrs after check in time, the valet was horrible with my car, the floor in the room was dirty, the sofa had food under the cushions, the window had a huge bird poop stain on it, the whole areas behind the nightstand of the bed had dust..it was just not great. I hated it…. The whole experience messed up my birthday and plans.

This hotel is truly exceptional, with unparalleled attention to detail and care. From the warm welcome by the valet team when you first arrive to the seamless checkout process, every aspect is meticulously attended to. The cleaning crew is phenomenal, providing a level of cleanliness I’ve never encountered before, even as a frequent traveler. Our Christmas stay was made magical by Alejandra, who delighted my child with a mini Christmas tree and stockings delivered by the hotel on Christmas Eve. The food was superb, and the entire experience was outstanding. The manager at this location deserves special recognition because the entire team was simply remarkable.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved that it is LEED Gold certified. It was in a great location with amazing shopping nearby. The restaurant on the 3rd floor was great. The entire staff was AMAZING. Only thing that we weren't happy with was the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival we noticed hair from previous guests on the sofa, the toilet seat wasn't clean and there was hair on the shower wall too. The slippers in the closet looked worn so we couldn't use them. The towels didn't smell that great either. Overall our stay was good..

Great Area and Wonderful property!

Unfortunately our room wasn't ready at check-in until 5:30 pm. This resulted in a late arrival at a dinner party at a local friends home. From that moment on however our stay was pitch perfect. When we return to D.C., we wouldn't consider any other hotel. Lynn and Diane Hedeman

The room was spacious and the area was very convenient.

The property was very nice. Was in DC for CBC, so there were a lot of things happening in the city. Shout out to the concierge (black woman who wore glasses) who was extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and other activities.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere! The 4th of July Celebration on the roof was excellent and enjoyable!

Excellent customer service from the moment we stepped on the property. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. I’m very particular about cleanliness of an hotel and room, not just beautiful decor. The room and common areas were gorgeous, clean and exceeded my expectations and standards. Key card required to access room floors for added safety and security. Walkable to many restaurants, shops, and entertainment. This is my DC home away from home whenever I visit. Fabulous job Conrad!!! We will be back soon!!

Synopsis: Great staff, beautiful building. Room was disappointing. Details: Reserved a room as a birthday gift to myself. Based on the rate, I expected higher quality than I’ve experienced at other hotels. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered my room, my expectations were shattered. I immediately noticed the worn, stained carpet. Moving over to the couch, I saw that it was splattered with white spots of unknown origin. I also saw that the wooden chair was visibly worn. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and contained fresh towels and supplies. However, the water in the shower never rose above lukewarm in the two times I used it (early evening and early morning). Lastly, the lighting system didn’t seem to work properly. The light buttons were labeled, but some didn’t actually work to control the areas referenced on their label. I ended up using a flashlight to avoid waking my family up due to the lack of light control. Positives: The staff were WONDERFUL, and the common areas of the building were immaculate. The lobby and elevator areas even had a wonderful, fresh scent.

Great room, clean, superb and friendly staff, terrific location.

It was my husband’s birthday and I had called ahead to see if they could put some balloons in the room. It was here waiting for us along with a bottle of Prosecco! Oscar and the others at the front desk were so helpful and attentive at making sure the arrangements were made and that it was a surprise. In addition, the room was spacious modern, and comfortable for us and our teenage sons. The shower is great and large and stylish bathroom. Will definitely stay at the DC Conrad again!

I very much disliked our stay. Upon arrival, we were told that since we booked through Expedia, that I would not receive my Hilton status (Gold - lost Diamond last month) points or benefits, i.e. free breakfast, executive lounge, upgrades, etc. Our room was terrible, hot mini fridge, shower/tub wouldn't drain, equivalent to an average Hampton hotel room. I would never stay here again.

The attention to detail was phenomenal, first time staying at the Conrad, & I can't imagine staying at any other hotel, the service, the amenities & the staffade this the best weekend in DC!

Wonderful

Friendly staff but not so great bed

The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was so awful and I struggled to get a good nights sleep. The restaurant in the hotel is a must and each day we went to breakfast the servers remembered us. Such pleasant interactions with every person that works here.

Sakura club excellent service

The room was much smaller than expected, since much of the square footage was in the large unusable entryway. Although it was a "corner" room, the curtains covered two of the five windows even when they were open blocking much of the view with a large TV blocking another window. There was nowhere to sit but the bed or a hard desk chair.

Perfect! Upscale, peaceful and very professional staff. The room was beautiful and my slippers were by the bedside with a chocolate on my bedside table..very relaxing. Beautiful rooftop!! Would definitely visit again!!

Lovely property Super friendly staff The area gas gone downhill since i was last there in 2020. At certain hours it felt unsafe even with the high police presence.

I liked everything. Expedia was great in everything. I would not change a thing. This was my second trip that I've booked with this company. I intend to continue. The only issue I found this time was that I wasn't offered the option to utilize Affirm if needed. This should be standard for those who qualify.

All the staff at Conrad Hotel were Amazing with us The concierge , Jennifer , the front desk The staff at the door helping us with the baggage. And all the people that we see during our stay , were very nice with us .

Staff was rude and unhelpful. I made this booking through Expedia with Pay Now option. But the front desk still charged me the entire room rent plux taxes plus incidentals. That maxed out my credit card. I couldnt make any further purchase with my card afterwards.

We loved our stay here and continue to choose the Conrad every trip to Dc! The staff is very Friendly and accommodating.

Where do we begin… We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Conrad DC. Probably the BEST luxury hotel we’ve been to in the DC area from the moment we valet parked, to dinner at the Estuary, to our AMAZING ROOM, to breakfast back at the Estuary and to check out. The quality of service was consistent throughout our stay, and every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. I wish we remembered everyone’s name to give them a special shoutout, but nonetheless SHOUTOUT to the valet guy, the 2 concierge men in the brown coat, the 2 young ladies that checked us in, the evening shift dinning room manager, the housekeeper, the woman that took our room service order and last but not least shoutout to Janice… she was definitely THE icing on the cake! When we checked out of the hotel, my husband decided to take some pictures of me, so we went to the hallway by the hotel meeting space and a woman (assuming from security) came and told us that we were not ALLOWED to take pictures around that area because it was intended for “vendors”… Without any hesitation we moved away and went downstairs to the lobby. Now… We have no issues with what she said to us, BUT her delivery and DEMEANOR towards us made us feel uncomfortable, as though we had done something so bad, AND that we didn’t belong to be there. She definitely left a bit of a sour taste as we were leaving, especially because every staff member was so amazing. Regardless we will surely come back!!!

The in-room phone did not work at all, very dangerous. The turn-down service was a joke, the woman who showed up yesterday evening only gave water, refused to arrange the bed and the curtains while the woman who showed up the night before did a normal job. The light system is ridiculous.

First time staying here and we have a great experience. The area is very busy and easy access to everything. The staff is very friendly. Parking is 70$ a night which is different from what is posted online.

Love the hotel and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Couple suggestions- option of regular coffee maker would be nice in room. Was not clear how to control room lighting easily. Difficult to get in and out of tall bathtub without a step or handle. Enjoyed the lobby and rooftop bars!

The Conrad Washington DC is very family friendly! They had a playpen, diaper pail,rubber ducky, bottle warmer etc for our Son! Thank You so much! And the Food and Drink from the Club was soooooo good! Worth every Penny! We will be Back!

Great property and staff and in a top location for sightseeing

The Conrad Hotel was marvelous! The service, the room, the staff, and the food service was excellent. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel has shops, museums, and restaurants within 1-2 blocks.

my husband and I enjoyed a weekend gateway at Conrad, we love the area, we walked for some shopping and to church. The restaurant in the hotel is phenomenal.

Before we check out (9:30am) housekeeping open the came in and she realized we’re in the room and left. Not a good service.

Terrible service from the front desk to cleaning staffs. Inconsiderate of guests. Very unprofessional for a 5-star hotel staffs.

Everyone working at the Conrad were so friendly and eager to accommodate guests.

The food was over priced limited meal selection and the air cinditionimg in the room and throughout the hotel was pretty weak. It was just an average hotel with poor air-conditioning.

The Conrad is the gold standard for hotels/hospitality. I always have a wonderful stay here. Most recently, I stayed here while taking a stressful licensing exam, and the staff were extremely thoughtful and kind. There was clearly a lot of thought put into amenities, as even the shampoos/soaps are absolutely lovely (Byredo's Mojave Ghost-scented products). Mei even had some fun snacks and a card sent to my room the night before the exam! Facilities are lovely, as are the amenities. The Conrad is the only place I recommend to friends and family when they are visiting DC.

The place is beautiful and it smell good. The only down fall is parking is $70 a night but it’s convenient.

I've stayed at many high-end hotels in the US and around the world, and my recent 4- night stay at the Conrad was EXCELLENT. One of the best...perhaps THE best hotel that I've ever stayed at. The design of the hotel and rooms and the decor is clean-modern. the staff was exceptionally well-trained and both courteous and efficient. A . Five Star!

Excellent hotel and staff very friendly! The only con is that the beds were very hard but other than that my family and I had a wonderful visit! Very good hotel for a family visit as well especially since we traveled with an 11 month old.

My husband & I stayed for one night ( a quick weekend getaway). The entire team from check-in to check-out was amazing. We had brunch, dinner and drinks on the rooftop that was great! Team members we would like to call out for providing exceptional service, Marcelles, Alex, and the young lady who checked us in who name we can’t remember. Thank you for a great stay!
