Loved it!!
I had a massage that gave me a literal concussion.
Amazing property
The architecture was amazing. The restaurants and food offerings were good (reservations were hard to come by when they were empty). Beautiful pools and beachfront. Staff was cordial and polite. Prices for items on menus vs. charges varied, issues with the toilet and sink in the room required fixing. It seemed like a new property trying to get their bearings. But for the location, food and atmosphere, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Conrad Tulum is a little slice of heaven! We will be recommending this hotel to friends and family.
Beautiful, location - good food and service. broken hot tubs and slow towel service.
This property is amazing and service is excellent!
Superb hotel
We had an amazing stay at the Conrad. Well designed modern hotel. White sands and crystal clear waters. Good selection of pools. Varied dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both the Japanese and Mexican restaurants were superb. A 15% service charge is included on all food and drink although generally this is included in the stated price. Service was outstanding. We also did a bike tour round the resort, the spa and neighbouring Hilton resort which is worth doing to get a feel for the property. We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider coming back in future.
Conrad Cool!
This was magic From the room to the beach . It was so so special.
Time away from the Cold
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Conrad. The staff were incredible and it was their hard work and engagement that made the experience so great.
Absolutely gorgeous property, wonderful staff and great food options. Treat yourself to this exceptional experience!!
Place was great… never had a any hot water in rooms or jacuzzis…
Great place to relax and spend some days with the family
Amazing experience with a modern twist in a jungle
Can't wait to come back
It was perfect - and the staff was warm and wonderful
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Conrad Tulum and was thoroughly impressed by the beauty of this hotel, despite a brief water shortage on January 7th. The quality of service stood out from the moment I arrived, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Mr. Francisco Corvin, the General Manager was amazing his hands-on approach was evident, as the entire team demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and professionalism, making sure that I felt well taken care of during the minor inconvenience. The culinary offerings were a highlight of the stay. The quality of the food was outstanding, with a diverse menu that satisfied every palate. Each meal was a delightful experience, The Ukai-Japanese restaurant was amazing, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative presentation. The bar service was equally impressive, offering expertly crafted cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the hotel. The design and decor at Hotel Conrad Tulum are simply stunning. The architecture and interior design reflect a perfect blend of modern luxury and natural beauty. I want to take the opportunity to mention some employees that made my stay memorable: Chef Omar from the Japanese restaurant, Sergio and David from the bar, Hector and Jasiel from Valet and the entire team from the Spa. Thank you Conrad Tulum
I like everything about this porperty
Having its own little bay was really cool. That being said its a fairly large property and I believe it was sold out while we there. So as a result, the service times were really long at times. In addition, we tried to book a couple of the restaurants and were told they were full but when we walked by they were half empty. All in all this hotel is great for families but I would not recommend it for couples who are looking for 5-star service and impeccable facilities. I'm in the construction business so maybe this last part of my review is not fair but they have a cool touch of having outdoor shutters that can be closed if you do not want to view the outside from your shower. Problem is the contractor who installed those things used the wrong fasteners as they are not anti-corrosion and as a result it is almost not possible to use those shutters since there is so much salt corrosion. Sad as this is such a new property. There were little things like that throughout the property. Not sure how the laws work in Mexico but in the US that is called a latent defect.
Loved everything from the moment I walked in.
Five-star luxury, excellent staff and service, all you need is on site
5 star experience.
This would have been a perfect birthday weekend but the hotel room we were given lost all power. We asked for another room but could not be given the same level of room we paid for. Thankfully Expedia refunded us! Maybe next time we will have better luck.
Muy lindo todo
Hotel is very nice, rooms are beautiful. Food is very limited, and some of the restaurants skew toward avant garde. Def review the menus before deciding. Staff was friendly and attentive with a few missed service opportunities. I tend to hold Conrad and Waldorf to a higher standard being top tier Hilton properties. Overall nice resort and very social media “worthy” but service is good but not excellent.
This resort is a boutique kind of, very walkable and very much suitable for couple with young and very young kids. The beach is amazing , sand, water and everything around it though it is a private and on a smaller side beach. The personal is attentive and helpful. The downside of this resort is the food. Now, the food options… the breakfast is a very good and plenty of options there, though the personal seems overwhelmed at times. Given this is not an all inclusive resorts, lunch options are bar kind of food, burgers, guacamole etc. Dinner is served in a few restaurants, a la carte, but the prices.. be prepared to pay 9$ for a bottle of water, 20$ and above for a glass of Prosecco or any wine. I would really prefer for them to have a buffet kind of option for dinner, either Italian or Mexican or both. Overall it was a pleasant vacation, we will definitely return to Tulum, might be this resort.
Todo muy lindo
Beautiful resort
Beautiful loved it
Property was beautiful & super clean!!! Very well kept & staff was super friendly! From the food by the pool to the one in charge of the kids club!Food was ok, I think they need more options. However the entertainment wasn't good!! They need to put music that will appeal to everyone, not what was playing! Also it should be all inclusive, place was pretty pricey & then the food & drinks adds up to a pretty penny!
If I can describe this property in one word, it will be “Majestic” everything about this location is amazing. Next time I’m in Tulum, I’ll be sure to return to this location.
Great service and beautiful property!
Overall the Conrad was a great stay for our family. Pros: they have a great private beach and plenty of pool space. The service was generally fantastic and would probably influence our decision to return. Cons: One of the people in our party arrived with a broken foot and yet the room we were put in was very far despite the hotel being pretty empty. That was a bit frustrating. Beach- There were no rental options to snorkel or paddle (you have to purchase your own equipment at a store). Rental was advertised as an option so this was disappointing. Food: The cuisine options were pretty good for adults but the menus tended to be overly complex (adding as many ingredients as possible). Our kids are very adventurous eaters but even they often chose from the kids menu. Asian restaurant was our favorite.
Beautiful 5 star resort. Just be prepared to drop another 1-2k on dining if going with family.
Everything was beyond my expectations!!! Luxurious and impeccable!
.
Beautiful property and they offered vegan options. Also, it was very romantic for our honeymoon. However, I love all inclusive resorts. They food and drink may add up quickly.
Excellent property and wonderful staff!
Second stay at the property and it was excellent!
Amazing property and very attentive staff
Outstanding all around
Great place!
.
T
The staff was wonderful and friendly. A good mix of food options. And the resort was beautiful. The design of resort is perfect for pictures.
Such an amazing resort with super friendly staff!
Overall good, but not the luxury and top notch resort it claims to be, far from it. First night we found a giant cockroach in our room, service was slow overall, dining options are ok some restaurants are very good but most are average at best. Extremely overpriced for what it is
Amazing experience
Absolutely amazing. Top notch service.
This was a beautiful property and would definitely visit again.
This was one of the best properties I’ve been stayed at. Everything from arrival to checkout was perfect! They have the best staff who works to ensure that your needs are met. I will be returning!’ and I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for relaxation and peace.
The service at this hotel was impeccable. Beach was nice. A great hotel to relax. The food at the Mediterranean restaurant was the best meal we had in Tulum. Request Casa 3, it’s closer to the lobby and pool. The only thing we didn’t like was how far away the hotel was from where the action is, Tulum hotel district, about 30-45 minutes drive.
Meticulously maintained, aesthetically gorgeous, and the best staff ever- the anticipated needs and wants and we were so impressed. Would highly recommend to families or couples
Unfortunately, our experience at Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya was deeply disappointing on multiple fronts. The inconsistency in charges quoted by different staff members left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Moreover, the general unhappiness of the staff was palpable throughout my stay. The discomfort extended to the accommodations themselves, with uncomfortably subpar beds that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Despite claiming to be family-friendly, the lack of life vests for children added unnecessary stress and safety concerns to our stay. To add to the frustration, dinner reservations were missed every single night, to the point where it became comical. Additionally, the sensors at every single bathroom didn't work, forcing us to use bottled water to wash our hands, which was both inconvenient and unsanitary. Furthermore, the room was very noisy, with wind blowers in the morning and older children in nearby rooms causing disturbances at night. Had we not brought our toddlers’ white noise machine, it would have been impossible to sleep past these disruptions. Overall, this experience was a complete letdown and a missed opportunity for Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya to provide quality service. I certainly will not be repeating this experience, nor would I wish it upon anyone else.
The property was pristine. But my first night there I had an allergic reaction. My face was swollen due to my room not being deep cleaned. It was to the point where the hotel manager had to call the doctor on call and I was given a perscription for an antihistamine to contain my face swelling. To make things worse. We ate at one of the outdoor resturants and at the bottom of my ketchup there was a piece of hair. The resturant manager had to be called to assist. Other, than that the staff was friendly and the hotel was beautiful. We were unable to use the pool outside our room as it had a small frog in it, my kids had a pet the whole time there.
Nice resort, jacuzzis were lukewarm only, no live entertainment, meals were very expensive at the on-site restaurants, taxis to go anywhere were expensive. $20 USD for a 7 minutes drive to Akumal beach one way for two people. The beach was covered with seaweeds. We were there at the beginning of March.
10/10
Booked our babymoon here and everything was perfect. Very clean property, attentive staff and great food. Will definitely come back!
Property is AMAZING! The staff is KIND, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, ACCOMIDATING. The food is out of this world! Be prepared to spend money If you want to enjoy the luxaries to the fullest extent!
Extremely expensive for what they offer. Definitely not an upscale hotel. Spent tow nights to on a mildewy mattress, closet light would not turn off and our bed faced the closet. Not once did they clean our room even after requesting specifically that they please make our room and provide fresh towels. Very average beach and terrible food. Definitely not worth the cost.
The nicest hotel in Tulum
The hotel was spectacular! Had a great private beach that you’re able to see fish and even stingrays! But best of all all the employees there made us feel very welcome and were super nice and helpful throughout the whole stay. I would definitely recommend going there and we had an amazing anniversary celebration
It’s a beautiful place, very quite safe, and very clean. Excellent customer service, their employees well manners and very professional. I will come back again.
Beautiful
This place is amazing. I could stay here forever. Sofia at the front desk made our stay comfortable and memorable. She truly made out vacation awesome
This place is great, the service and the food especially ,we will definitely come back
This is an amazing hotel. Very clean. Pools are awesome. Water is the most beautiful water one can possibly find. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Live sweet music in the evenings. Great restaurant selection with great food. We are definitely going back.
its not what you expect from a Conrad hotel
Amazing staff & service, especially at the Ultramar bar! Thanks so much to the amazing hotel staff for a memorable stay!
Beautiful property , amazing staff, but food and drinks are really expensive
Everything is perfect!
Loved the property! Gorgeous. Very expensive to leave resort in taxis so I would recommend a car if you’re trying to save money and eat in the city. Great experience overall. Seaweed in august was a big downfall but still great experience.
The property is one year old. The staff is exceptional and the hotel is beautiful, serene and quiet. It's excellent if you are looking for relaxation and recharging. The hotel staff service is on another level. We have travelled extensively and this by far is one of the best hotels we have stayed at.
The stay was amazing, staff was great. Breakfast was a bit pricey so you would need to budget for that if you stay more than 2 nights. There is no fridge or microwave so you’re forced to order room service or go to one of their restaurants.
The beach smells bad
The staff was fantastic and the property was beautiful and luxurious!
I’ve been to Mexico many times but this was by far the most beautiful resort I’ve been to. My family and myself were impressed with the rooms and amenities, staff and attentiveness and food options. This is a newer resort so it wasn’t packed but for the price and what’s offered it definitely deserves to be. I can’t wait to come back and I will be staying here
LOS SEÑORES CARGARON DESDE JUEVES 26 A MIERCOLES 3 DE AGOSTO , CUANDO YO HICE LA RESERVA DEL 1 AL 4 DE AGOSTO . Y COBRARON EL TOTAL DE LA RESERVA, AUNQUE HABLE CON ELLOS ME ENVIARON CON UDS ORBITZ, SIENDO IMPOSIBLE EL COMUNICARME. ORBITZ NO TIENE SERVICIO DE TELEFONO PARA ESTAS ACLARACIONES Y LA PAGINA DE ORBITZ NO RESPONDE. TOTAL UN FRAUDE
The staff at the reception fernardo was unprofessionally and not helpful.
The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was amazing!!!
We felt a little trapped on the resort due to the lack of ride share companies in the Yucatan, and felt that some of the prices of the restaurants were higher than we're used to.
Food and flavor was mid. The food outside is way. All the drinks around the pool are low alcohol.
Excellent service and attention to every detail. Immaculate property with the most friendly staff. True 5 stars
Excellent service and food. I was extremely impressed with our stay
This was a couples trip and it was great. Peaceful and relaxing. Great pool and drinks. Rooms were super clean and nice.
The entire staff at Conrad Tulum was excellent! Attentive friendly, beautiful people. Hotel was paradise! Food was excellent. The only qualm we had was with Elite Travel (not the hotels fault) but there was a miscommunication with our excursion so we never made it. Everything else was excellent! Made my birthday one to remember!
An amazing new property! Very clean, beautiful landscaping and design. Every restaurant we ate at was incredible. The staff and service was top notch. Seriously can’t find any fault and highly recommend staying here.
My husband and I really enjoyed this place! So beautiful and modern and the food is top notch quality ! The views are amazing and it’s wasn’t busy at all so we felt like we had the place to ourselves ! House keeping was always on it! And everyone was soooo nice!!! From arrival to leaving we were treated very well! My only complaint is i didn’t like their ice cream lol but other than that 10/10!
This was the best and most beautiful resort I’ve stayed at. The service was amazing. Food was 5 stars. Everything was aesthetic and absolutely gorgeous to look at. I will definitely be coming back
Amazing property with a lot of potential
Everything in this hotel is brand new. The room and amenities were amazing. Our bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom were well appointed. The hotel staffs were very courteous and friendly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. However, a few things I want to point out that I think the hotel could do better: 1- The staff here are friendly but inexperienced. It was hard to get any server attention either at the beach or the pool sometime. In one occasion, they forgot our drinks order twice and we had to run into the bar to remind them. Some day we waited 30-45mins until we could find someone to order drinks. Also, we came to Bar Crudo for lunch one day and no one came to seat us even though they have had like 6-7 servers standing around the bar area. Given it’s a Hilton chain and this is a 5 star resort, I’d expect the staffs to be well trained. 2- Arbolea- the precooked food at this buffet was not great. Made to order items and the French Toasts were good, but the rest were bad. If we didn’t have compliment breakfast due to Status, we wouldn’t want to pay $50 per person for this quality. I wish they had Ala carte menu. 3- Sargassum- it’s no secret that Mexico and the Caribbean have been dealing with seaweed for awhile. I’ve been to other hotels with Sargassum issue. However, I felt like it was worst here at the Conrad. It was unpleasant to see trucks and bob cat throughout the day at the beach. Maybe they should have the seaweed cleaned early in the morning before guests
The hotel was super amazing, the staff, the beauty, the food, the mixed restaurants, lounges, and facilities were excellent. It is a new and well maintained property. Only the beach had a lot seaweeds as much as they cleaned it, it will always come back.
Stay away
Do not disturb lights don’t work. Condescending manager who won’t honor benefits even when Hilton honors members, staff treat you like you’re all inclusive except you’re paying for every single thing there. Dirty main pool with scum piling at the corners *barf.* even though at 30% occupancy all requests took forever. Go elsewhere, don’t go here. Pillows also hard as a rock.
Meh
I am not sure how this place is getting so many awards. Basically have to beg staff to take order for coffee at breakfast, at the pool and beach, and even though you’re paying for everything takes forever. God for bird you order a blended or drink with ice because you will get mainly ice, even though it’s NOT all inclusive. Gorgeous grounds, but seriously not ready for prime time. Spend money at the four seasons elsewhere.
Gorgeous immaculate property on secluded cove north of Tulum. Welcoming kind staff attended to our every need.
Beautiful
It's a beautiful property, and the staff is devoted to making sure you have a pleasant stay. The spa is of good quality, and the restaurants are definitely worth a visit as the food is excellent. However, during our stay, we witnessed a situation involving some guests, and when we reported it to the manager, they did nothing and ignored the situation, even though many guests were not impressed. I'm used to going to Unico in the same area in Tulum, and I have to say that I will continue to go there instead.
We had an incredible stay at the Conrad. It’s a new hotel and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The pools are great and the restaurants give you variety to choose from. Breakfast buffet at Arbolea is one of the best I’ve ever had. The Kids Club with Ruth, Sam, Fernanda and samara was incredible for our little kids. They asked to go back all the time and had so much fun. They’ll even take them to the pool. The pool staff and manager Sal gave our kids toys and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms are very nice, beds comfortable and patios with plunge pools and gorgeous views. No issues. We’d stay here again.
Our issues with this hotel really came down to a lack of consistency and value for the honestly crazy per night price to stay here. $50 per person for a breakfast buffet is nuts. There is nothing around this hotel either so you are captive to their restaurants with tiny portions and sky high prices. They also don’t have any activities for rainy days not even a deck of cards. Most luxury hotels I have stayed at in the past allow you to use basic spa facilities as part of your stay. Here you have to pay $100 per person to use the sauna. They also list the property as smoke free but people were chain smoking IN THE POOL and on their balconies. We chose this hotel because I am pregnant and didn’t want to have to deal with second hand smoke. Some days we would pay $7 for a mocktail and sometimes the same restaurant would charge us $15. We had to chase someone down to get service at the restaurants and wait 30 minutes to get our check at every restaurant. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and this was by far the most disappointing. This hotel hides behind a pretty property and lacks for actual service and substance.
Beautiful property! Excellent Staff. Overall wonderful experience!
The staff makes the difference at any place. The staff at Conrads Tulum is first class.
This resort is absolutely amazing, from the time you arrive your greeted with nothing but excellent customer service and your truly treated like royalty. The resort is amazing with views that is out of this world. Only bad part of this trip was that I had to leave, my husband and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this resort. 5 stars
Beyond exceptional property and service! Great food at the restaurants on the resorts, highly recommended for families and couples.
