Great for shows
It was a very nice room, clean and comfortable
Lovely room, great staff, gab dinner, nice surroundings
The front guest service (he was a guy) very helpful and attentive. Thumbs up! But the server in the restaurant is not that kind specially night time 2 men. The breakfast is clean and nice (staffs are nice too). And facility is out of nowhere so you need to find yourself to get out if you want to go out and eat. However overall I like the stay and will stay again here for the show. Because this venue is specially for the show.

Beautiful walking paths in the area
Dobry.
Dobrze położony hotel, blisko stacji metra ok 900 m.
Great for familys
The front desk customer services agent is very helpfull and professional approach with us
Nice and clean. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Definitely recommend with dogs as well.
For the price charged the property didn’t even have a gym
Great overnight stay.
Big room for our family of four. Would definitely come back! We felt very safe.
Good hotel near fairgrounds
Hotel was good, no restaurants or shops within 20mins, but this was in general around the fairground area. Lovely walk through the park to fair grounds.
Hotel was in a good location, sadly we couldn’t explore the surrounding. Room was spacious, nice , comfy beds. In my opinion this hotel doesn’t have the standard for 4* hotel, to me this is more as 3*. There is no fridge in the room, there is a kettle but no coffee or tea available, the toiletries are not in the bathroom, we received on pack from the reception with 1 small soap, 1 shower gel , 1 shampoo for all 4 of us. We dined in the restaurant, food is ok , not a very wide selection. A lot of dogs in the hotel. Parking is across the road and cost €10.
Terrible place - avoid!
Terrible place - avoid! Stayed here in January 2020 on a business trip (just before the toy fair) and was extremely disappointed. The staff on reception were not very welcoming and gave no information at all about any of the usual things you expect when checking in. When checking out they simply took my key and said goodbye, didn't ask how the stay was, etc. When walking to my room, I immediately noticed that the corridors were a bit 'dingy' and that the hallway carpet was very worn out and in immediate need of replacement, which should have been a warning to me. The photographer who takes photos for the booking sites must also be a magician because the room didn't look anything like the photos online, both in decor and in size, much smaller than expected or compared to other hotels! The headboard of the bed was scraped and tattered, the walls were scraped and marked, I found a very long hair on my duvet (and I'm a short haired male) and a rip in my sheet. The light in the bathroom had fallen out of the ceiling and was hanging by its wire. The kettle (not a coffee machine like other hotels) still had water from the last occupant in it, no idea how long that had been standing there for. When I called from my room phone to ask about a clothes iron, I was told to go up 2 floors to an 'ironing room'. What decent class hotel in this day and age doesn't have an iron in the room?! This hotel was terrible, don't waste your money stay at the nearby novotel at the same price.
Nice and Comfortable Hotel
It was amazing cause it have bathtub for my kids. The location was deserted so it was more difficult to access the town. The room was clean, but toothpastes and toothbrushes weren’t provided which could be a hassle. The bed was really comfortable and was easy to sleep in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and it is really good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good value.
nice location
great location to start the day at the documentation center
Yay
Yay
not not not recommended !
very bad experience , i was doubled charged for the room (once via hotels.com and also directly by the hotel) so think twice before you hand over your credit card. Room was clean , but pillows are cheap and far from being comfortable (very hard).
Cold rooms, hard beds, old creeky hallways
I’m shocked this is a 4 star hotel. There were 4 of us, 2 of us to a double room each. Lobby was pretty and staff were fantastic, including great housekeeping staff. However the hotel rooms itself were uncomfortable. Beds were hard and you get one choice of pillows which was too stiff for me. There was also NO HEAT control in our room! We were freezing! It’s December 2018 in Nürenberg and I couldn’t get my room to warm up. Instant coffee provided was also gross. Parking was a confusing situation as well. wasn’t happy with our stay.
very good
excellent breakfast. good pillows.
Great option for Nuremberg Messe
Friendly and comfortable hotel conveniently located for the Messe. Impressed by the restaurant.
Close to the exhibition center. Staff very nice. Closet doors very loud when closed. Cheap design
Good location and comfort
Nice hotel close to the Rally grounds, excellent food with very friendly staff. Rooms also comfortable.
CLOSE TO FAIR GROUNDS
Perfect Location for WWII Buffs
The hotel is just a short walk away from the former Party Rally Grounds, with a path leading from the side of the hotel directly past the site of the Silbersee (the flooded excavations for the German Stadium) and up to the Grosse Strasse. From here, the small path straight ahead leads to the Zeppelinfeld/tribune, a left turn along Grosse Strasse leads to the Congress Hall/Documentation Centre (from where the Luitpold Arena and Hall of Honour are just at the other side of Bayern Strasse), and a right turn leads to the Marzfeld (which is now a housing estate). A path on the right, half way to the Marzfeld, leads up to the Silberbuck (the huge mound of rubble from the bombing of Nuremberg), with views of the castle and sunset. Back at the hotel, the picturesque centre of Nuremberg is readily accessible from the nearby Bauernfeind Strasse U-Bahn station, and there is no need to change trains to get to Barenschanz Strasse for the Nuremberg Trials courtroom.
Quick weekend
Clean room and linens. Staff was ok. Not unfriendly, but not as friendly as maybe staff should be. Bar staff good.
Bad Long Term Thinking
Decided on staying there right after the ECS (European Coating Show) as the published price had substantially dropped after the event. I made the error of pre-paying via Hotels.com .Three days before my stay, I attempted to cancel one of the two rooms I had booked. They referred to their cancelling policy which is a lost of 90 %. Well when I was there, the place was practically empty...Not a good way to think long term. Besides that, the gym was a big joke with only 3 cardio piece of equipment and no resistance training whatsoever. I was at least hoping for a massage but they couldn't even do that as they claim their therapist was unvailable. I wouldn't recommend this establishment at all. The restaurant menu is extremely limited to 5 items (both identical for lunch and dinner)....
Nice place to stay, good food at restaurant.
low price for quality, near Ubahn
great stay just outside of downtown. For a cheaper rate, great room, and 10 min walk to the Ubahn and 10 min ride, you are at the Hopfbahnhof in Nuremberg. If you plan to stay for a few days in Nuremberg seeing the sights and museums, I would recommend this hotel for the price and quality.
NICE, COMFORTABLE HOTEL...A 10 MIN WALK TO MESSE
Very Nice Hotel next to a park were you can go out for a jog...hotel amenities like gym and sauna not that great, but walking distance to messe, if you are in town for trade events. Also even closer to the U ban were you could get the train into town. Not much to do close by (nothing)...no restaurants or bars, so prices for food and drinks in the hotel are high. food was ok though...
Great cityhotel on park
Perfect Location. Borders on large lake with park. Walk in minutes to subway. Very quiet.best breakfast ever. Very clean and very friendly staff
Nice overnight stay
We stayed at this hotel as a family for one night on our way to Prague. The hotel was clean, accepted our 5 month old labrador retriever, and was comfortable. The location is a bit odd (tucked away a bit), but appears to be near a park, which was great for walking out dog.
Nice hotel near to a park.
The hotel is very clean. The staff are all very nice. The berakfask is delicious. However, the bed is a little hard.
Good, not far from city
I was surprised that the hotel didn't have my reservation from Expedia at all.
Nice hotel, close proximity to airport and trains
very comfortable nights sleep, only stayed overnight for an early morning flight
Parking not ideal
Underground parking was not expensive at 8 euros per day but the lack of video surveillance meant trouble when entering or leaving.
Neighborhood questionable
Didn't like neighborhood - hotel behind gas station, initially told us the parking was 9.00 euros or park in the public park where RVs were stationed . I told them that I had read that there was free parking, then she said " yes in front of the gas station" .
Nice surroundings
Nice hotel next to a green park area. Not many shops nearby and not walking distance to the city. Good location for Football stadium, Arena and Rock Im Park festival. Staff helpful and friendly.
Beautiful surroundings
Very nice hotel in a lovely green park area near to Nuremberg centre, but not walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the service is good. The staff are very helpful. Walking distance to football stadium and Arena, but not much in the way of shops in the local area so stock up before you arrive!
A friend and I were in Nuremberg for a long weekend to enjoy the sites and the Christmas market. We originally booked an air B&B that was terrible so this was a last minute pick. It turned out to be great! The room was comfortable, the staff was helpful. The metro is a ten. Minute walk and 20 minute ride into town but super easy, a cab was between 10-15euros depending... The hotel is in a park which made for a great walk in the snow. Overall a good experience.
We were tired, at 22.00 pm, back from Italy with two small children. After beautiful Italy, and all the rotten expensive eating, and hotel expirence, of Rome, like we came to Haven. They were lovely. I think is the closest you ever get to a 5-star service, in a 4-star hotel.
this hotel could be good for family
Breakfast is good . Internet is slow . For business trip , it could be difficult .
good solid hotel
would recommend it, especially if staying to the outside of the city centre. Lovely park on the back of it so location is pretty good! Hotel amenities great, good gym, well maintained. would recommend!
Lovely hotel and great value.
Nice and clean, good breakfast buffet
the hotel is nice and clean with super king size bed, the breakfast buffet is good and staff are friendly and helpful.
Great Stay - Excellent Hotel
From the outside the hotel does not look like much, but once inside, it is nicely appointed. We had two rooms, 206 and 411. Room 411 was small but comfortable. Both were so clean clean, you could eat off of the floor. It was like we were the first to sleep in the room of a new hotel. There was not bathtub, but that was ok, being that we like showers anyway. And the shower was great. Lots of pouring hot water. Room 206 was larger being that we had requested a room for four people. It had a tub/shower combo. It was also so clean that I thought it was a new hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge variety and very filling. We will stay there again. Excellent hotel
Great hotel close to everything!
Very nice hotel in great location. Close to the old town, 3 min walk to main train station. Excellent service.
good
had a problem finding the hotel and had to actually stop at another place to get directions. But hotel and staff were great!
Très ancien et sale
Gut für Hundebesitzer da direkt am Park. Frühstück eintönig, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt.
about the rooms
air conditioning was set for only cold and the weather was cold too! shower was leaking a lot of water, very frustrating!
Gute Lage am Park mit Spielplatz. Guter Service.
Close but expensive
Hotel is located near exhibition center so that's very nice - but also quite expensive. Also I don't understand that when you paid for the room until 12:00 noon why the cleaning personal came twice in the morning to clean when I did not check out yet. They need a better communication between cleaners and front desk when People has checked out
Worst hotel I stayed in for a good while. Bathtub contained multiple hairs and even a clipped toenail… dead flies in the window sill. The headboard had cuts in it which led to sticky material where your hairs would stick to. Besides that, the rooms where very hot and airconditioning was not working. Barly slept the first night because the surroundings where so loud (party in the park next door till 5 in the morning). Breakfast was pretty good and staff was overall great but they really need to step up the cleaning and the maintenance.
everything was fine
Fint hotel til pengene
Nemt at finde, fin beliggenhed.
Bad dreckig, Matratze durchgekegen. Handtücher und Bettzeug stank
Intet at klage over
Alles top!
Super hotel
Badrum något litet men helt OK.
Congress Hotel Mercure Nürnberg an der Messe | Hotel in Nuremberg | Travala.com
Conveniently located for the exhibition centre but food was terrible, staff not great and hotel pretty run down. No information in rooms about facilities. Tried to get some dry cleaning arranged at 8am and reception staff said it was too late even though the website says leave garments by 9am. Wouldn’t stay here again
