Clean property with amazing view and very good access to the beach. Range of food can be improved.

We enjoyed the Concorde. The buffet had a good variety and changed every day. Snorkeling is very good from the dock. Service was very good.

Average resort experience

It was a middle-range resort experience. The hotel, room and attention from the staff is great, however the all inclusive package was short from what we expected. The snack bar is really really terrible, it was some pieces of cheese (under the egyptian sun), a "salad" and "olives". The wine and alcohol in general is super bad quality, and the buffet was very repetive so it gets very boring when you have to eat there 3 times a day. The food was good but too repetitive. We did like that the hotel has some charm, specially after sunset when the lights go on.

Overall, clean hotel with friendly staff ready to help. Probably one of the top hotels in the Marsa Alam area. Had all the facilities needed. No complaints from the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you just want a relaxing break beach side.

Save your money and look elsewhere

We paid 83.00 US dollars to stay at what felt like a resort cruise ship. If your coming to Concorde to RELAX, think twice. I couldn't read a complete page in my book on the beach due to the constant hassling. We just spent two weeks in Egypt exploring Ciaro, Giza, and Luxor where you expect to get hassled, but coming to what they call a five star resort and not being able to even enjoy the privacy of returning to your room without knocks at your door, and the phone ringing off the hook is just unprofessional. I was pressured at breakfast and dinner to tip the cooks preparing my meals. I'm a bartender, who works for tips, I Always tip, no need to hassle me at meal time too. We ended up arraranging a private car to come and transport us to Abu Dabab beach three days out of our six nights at Concorde. We were never greeted upon check in, no one smiled unless they wanted something from you. lastly I was looking forward to using the spa services at Concorde, however the Spa Sales associate was non-stop pressuring me to book a treatment. I felt I was followed and stalked so much I vowed NOT to openly step foot into the spa facilities. The nicest thing I can say is the grounds are well maintained and checking out was still an annoyance but it meant we were finally leaving.

A mistake I will never do next time

The overall experience is terrible. Although the hotel has many potentials to be really one of the most chosen hotels for vacations due to seaside location and other built facilities, but in reality its totally different. The hotel has a very untrained, inexperienced staff. Starting from the managers downwards. English language either is not spoken at all, or spoken in a very funny way that makes no since to any conversation with the staff about almost any issue The restaurant food is terrible with an absolutely inexperienced chiefs and very odd menu and flavors even for the very simple dishes like macaroni or sun-shine eggs..! Room service is not there. forget it. if you are lucky enough to have someone answer your room service calls, you will have to pay for a food that you will not dare to eat because it is very bad or not well cocked. House keeping can easily mistaken the sign at the door and enter your room while you are sleeping or at the bathroom... yes it happened! Spa is another disaster, no way to visit it again for many reasons other than cleanliness or ridiculous prices Finally, the disastrous new year party which were not organised at all, bad food as well (which we had to eat from it the second day I don;t know why? are they saving money or the chiefs were tired from cocking bad food I don;t know?!) Bottom line, there is a plenty of hotels and resorts in Marsa Alam, mostly 5 starts or 4 starts. This hotel I don't even put it in a 2 starts ranking.

Not bad

Very friendly wait staff. Very good food. Restaurants have overly limited hours. The wifi does not work in rooms and barely works elsewhere. The grounds are very well cared for.

Weekend escape from Cairo

We spent the weekend in this resort and were very satisfied. Professional staff, excellent food (oriental and international cuisine), rooms were very clean and comfortable, access to the coral reef for snorkelling and diving from the beach. Definitely recommended

Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at Concorde Moreen, The only con is the food was not great. but the hotel is 15 min away from Port Ghalib which has good restaurants there.

Nice place to relax. Stuff is friendly specially at the restaurant: Ibrahim, Alaa, Mohamed, Ahmed, Zacharia; and the bar: Ramadan, Youssef, Ragab, Gad and all the other as well. No WI-Fi in the room and no network for the mobile as well

Sister reunion

I was meeting up with my sisters and mother who was travelling over from Sweden. Perfect place for us - quiet, good service and very clean. The food was good and seemed very fresh but maybe a little bit more variety would be welcome since it felt a bit samey at times. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean but I felt the beds were a little bit too hard even for me who likes a relatively hard bed normally. The staff was great and very helpful at all times. I was only there for 4 nights so didn't venture too much outside of the hotel. We did however do a quad biking excursion (organised by people at the hotel) which was such good fun and great value. We also did a 1 day boat trip out to a reef to do some snorkelling and to see the dolphins that live around it. The dolphins didn't make an appearance but it was still a nice day out. Overall, it was a nice stay for the type of trip that we were on i.e. a trip to relax and spend time together as a family.

A Relaxing and Rejuvenating Oasis..!

Enjoyed the anonymity of my stay. The great hotel staff were friendly and attentive without imposing. Thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling and food,then retreating to the peace and views of my room terrace. Entertainment was available if you wanted it. The perfect place to wind down after Scuba diving. Loved it and plan to go back!

Stunning hotel, rooms were clean and spacious, shower was fully working. The beach and pools were extremely enjoyable (especially diving and snorkelling on the reef). All of the staff were very kind and welcoming; the customer service representative was excellent at e-mailing any responses to questions prior to our visit as well. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail paid to each visitor, they really went out of their way to make you feel special. Recommend 100% to all.

Fabulous Hotel

We booked 2 double rooms for 5 nights. It was the first time at Concorde Marsa Alam. It is a new 5 stars property located on one of the top 10 reefs in the Red Sea. We enjoyed the Warm Sun and delicious food. Rooms are big, clean and fronting Sea.

An all inclusive FIVE star luxury hotel was sold to us. This FIVE star hotel is advertised with four individual styled restaurant , I must admit after reading the advert again it mentions , an extra charge MAY be levied on some special meals. It dose not say you will be charged EXTRA at three of the four restaurant averrable The only restaurant , that is included in the all inclusive package, is a buffet styled canteen , FIVE star ?? Not I my experience. Misleading , I believe is an understatement . Miss selling I believe is more accurate description.

Great Snorkeling

Fantastic house reef. Emperor Divers onsite. Beds are very firm but you can request a softer option free of charge. All staff very friendly and helpful - six members of staff worked to set the satellite TV up so I could watch the F A Cup final. I had a sea view beachfront room in block 12 which was just far enough away from animation theater to be quiet but not too far from restaurant, pool or bar. It was very close to the beach and pier too. Massages in spa very good. Gym had two treadmills, a cross trainer, a recumbent bike, a multi-gym, a bench press, a preachers bench and a good selection of weights - all were in good condition. Food was a good standard but there was a fair amount of repetition. The food on the Egyptian night was best.

One of the best in the area

This place is the best of the 3 different hotels in the area we've stayed. Very comfortable rooms, great sea view, house reef just off the beach, cared for grounds and strong WiFi signal everywhere (repeaters every 100 feet even on the beach), Emperor Diver's shop on-site. Food left more to be desired but that is to be expected in all AI type resorts in Egypt IMO. Overall - highly recommended.

C’est bien situé, deux plages dont une petite sur les hauteurs. Wi-fi non disponible dans les chambres et difficilement sur la plage. Petit déjeuner complet, viennoiseries, crêpes, œufs Avec un cuisinier au service des œufs impeccable mais pas de bacon, pas de gaufres, viennoiseries un peu sèches. Le midi, aucun effort, crudités ça et là jetées dans des plats, aucune mousse aucune préparation, pas de fromages ni charcuterie . Le soir nous avons toujours trouvé à notre goût, avec un barbecue différent chaque soir. Possibilité de manger dehors très agréable. Au niveau du service, le matin, cuisinier très agréable et serviable aux œufs, sur la terrasse notre petit serveur super adorable par contre il y avait un autre serveur un peu bedonnant vraiment pas plaisant. À la réception, très gentils. Chambre tout à fait correcte. Début décembre nous avons payé, aller retour Belgique allin pour 14 jours -1000 € par personne. Donc rapport qualité prix correct, on ne pouvait pas espérer des miracles avec l’hôtel. Nous nous sommes trouvés dans un bloc pas très loin du théâtre, du boucan jusqu’à 0h30 ! Infernal ! Sans compter les répétitions toute l’après-midi qui faisaient un bruit d’enfer. Donc si vous n’aimez pas le bruit, demandée une chambre dans les deux block les plus éloignés du central. Sans ça vous passerez des nuits infernales ! Attention loin de tout, Taxi hyper cher, trouvez le sur Internet c’est plus intéressant

Un resort non molto grande, le camere sono molto spaziose tutte dotate di terrazzino, il personale tutto, dagli addetti alle pulizie, ai ragazzi del ristorante, a quelli della spiaggia... Tutti gentili, disponibili e sempre sorridenti. Il cibo nella media del posto, di fame certo non si muore. Il posto ideale dove passare una vacanza in totale relax.

Truly an amazing hotel, we loved every second there. The food included was absolutely fabulous! The staff were friendly and helpful, the beach was lovely, the garden was beautiful, there’s really nothing to complain about.

Bad pet policy

Regarding pet policy . The dont let dogs on the beach but there is a Camel walking around , only for money . The said pets are welcome but do not let walk any area.

Una delle cose migliori è lo snorkeling: dal pontile si accede a una piccola baia ricchissima di pesci e coralli (abbiamo perfino visto da vicino i delfini!). La vista dalla camera molto suggestiva. Die Beschreibung gehobenes luxusresort ist wohl die frechste Aussage der Hotelbeschreibung.Das Hotel hat kein Flair keinen Charm keine Austrahlung für Romantik. Es hat eine Gepflegte Grünanlage das wars.Gelsen und Motten ende nie. Wir hatten einen VIP Status für Bedienung und Aufenthalt natürlich für mehr Bezahlung, gemerkt hätten wir nichts davon. Besonders in der Lobbybar sehr arogant und unfreundlich obwohl Sie sahen welches Band wir trugen...Am Strand nur eine Dusche kein Wc. Am Pool waren alle sehr freundlich.Auser das man sich an der Poolbar im Wasser selbst bedienen musste,das heisst hinaus zum anstellen und mit den Getränken wieder ins Wasser hineinhiefen und dann konnte man sich hinsetzen also mit gemütlichen hinschwimmen nö. Zimmerboy war sehr bemüht.Küche sehr sehr gut. Also das Essen war wirklich hervoragend gut..Nur die Bekleidung der meisten Gäste sehr unangebracht Badeshort am Abend no go. Animationsteam sehr freundlich. Spar unfreundlich und sehr überzogene Preise samt drücken .Z.B. 20min Sauna 20 Euro. Türkisches Bad 71 Euro.

Schöne und gepflegte Anlage, wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrad erhalten und hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und auch für mich als Vegi war meistens eine gute Auswahl vorhanden. Leider habe ich mir zum Schluss der Woche doch noch "einen Käfer" eingefangen! Ich leide unter heftigen Magenkrämpfen und nun bereits seit 7 Tagen wässrigem Durchfall. Bin in ärztlicher Behandlung mit Infusionen und diversen Medikamenten. Das ist die weniger schöne Seite....

terzo anno al concorde, struttura non molto grande, giardini curatissimi ,punto mare davvero molto bello, barriera corallina stupenda bastano pochi passi per ritrovarsi in un acquario, cucina un po ripetitiva (come spesso accade in molti altri posti) ma comunque buona, una nota negativa l'animazione praticamente inesistente, in un posto in cui non ci sono molte possibilità di uscire (tipo sharm ) un animazione più vivace non guasterebbe.

Personale arrogante bisognava stare attenti a che nn ti imbrogliassero sui prezzi . Offendevano i clienti ed erano irriverenti . Un incubo.

Assolutamente NON 5 stelle. Forse è nata come 5 stelle ma non ha saputo mantenere lo standard qualitativo; è un 4 stelle di livello medio basso. Non è vecchia ma vissuta e sembra non al passo coi tempi. È un peccato perché ha grosse potenzialità ed é una bella struttura. Ha anche un bel giardino ed è ben curato. La sera tutto è illuminato da lucine gialle, che al chiaro di luna e sotto le stelle, rende l'atmosfera romantica. Il wifi funziona malissimo ed è gestito da un proxy che blocca le chiamate su Whatsapp. Il personale è instancabile e servizievole (tutti uomini). Solo gli addetti agli extra (tipo spa, motorata ecc) sono invadenti e insistenti. La pulizia è mediocre. Il ristorante ha un buffet molto grande e vario, ma non ci ha entusiasmato. A pranzo o cena abbiamo mangiato quasi sempre pollo e patate. Animazione presente ma poco invadente. Come piace a me :P. C'è un campo di bocce e 2 da beach volley per gli amanti degli sport da spiaggia. Il mare é bellissimo ma la spiaggia é bianca perche è fatta di corallo morto. Le scarpe sono quasi obbligatorie, cambiate zona se volete la sabbia. L' acqua non supera il ginocchio, bisogna andare sul pontile e superare la barriera per fare una nuotata. Poi c'è il fenomeno della bassa marea il pomeriggio per qualche ora e una parte di spiaggia si asciuga portando alla luce granchi e stelle marine. Il mare è pieno di vita e per gli amanti dello snorkeling come me, c'è da divertirsi tutti i giorni. Portate una Action Cam!

Struttura molto bella pulita stanze enormi e confortevoli ristorante internazionale ma devo dire che si è mangiato bene specialità per lo più di pollo manzo e pesce il receptionist che parla un po’ di italiano e cordiale e molto disponibile fin da subito dal contatto e mail per la richiesta di un trasferimento privato ad ogni altra esigenza localo puliti e in ordine giardini e aiuole sempre curate nei dettagli accesso al mare sia dalla spiaggia con scarpette sia dal pontile dove poter fare snorkeling in una conca ricca di pesci e sicura per i bagnanti !! I massaggiatori fantastici ! Unica pecca purtroppo il wi fi ma come ovunque nei villaggi è difficile avere connessione constante quindi un problema generico niente di importante si può anche fare a meno di internet

Struttura molto bella con dimensioni contenute, noi abbiamo preso la camera lato spiaggia e avevamo la spiaggia a 30mt di fronte, la cosa più bella di questo resort secondo me è proprio la vicinanza con la bellissima spiaggia dove si può accedere al mare sia camminando sulla sabbia oppure usando il pontile ed andare a tuffarsi direttamente nella barriera corallina (qui lo spettacolo è unico... pesci di ogni tipo, tartarughe , delfini ecc). Come difetti segnalo un animazione imbarazzante , ci sono 4 ragazzi che fanno dello spettacoli improvvisati, non parlano bene inglese e Il più delle volte sembrano svogliati al massimo (ma li pagate per questi spettacoli ? ). Poi il bar della piscina è bello però bisognerebbe migliorarne la pulizia e SOPRATTUTTO tenerlo aperto anche alla sera e non chiuderlo al tramonto. Per il resto questo resort è proprio bello, piccolino, pulito, si mangia bene ed è a ridosso della spiaggia. Come escursioni consiglio il giro con il più bel cammello dell Egitto >>> Oscar. Questo cammello passa ogni giorno in spiaggia accompagnato dal simpatico ragazzo Amid che vi accompagnerà in una balla passeggiata sul cammello a vedere il tramonto e vi farà delle foto bellissime... consigliato!

Ottima struttura con una barriera corallina mozzafiato e personale sempre accogliente e gentile.

Sono tante palazzine immerse in un bel giardino. Pero' per andare al I e II piano le scale sono esterne e senza ascensore, sotto un sole di 40 gradi. Pero' i bagagli li porta il personale. L'inconveniente e' che e' troppo isolato, tutto intorno c'e' solo deserto. Non pensate di uscire in strada e trovare un taxi perche' non ce ne sono. Bisogna per forza prendere l'auto dell 'hotel con autista. Non c'e animazione. Solo al mattino fanno un po' di ginnastica. La sera mettono della musica e basta. A parte l'isolamento per il resto nulla da dire. Se siete stati a Sharm el Sheik, non aspettatevi la stessa cosa perche' non e' cosi'. .

Bella struttura molto pulita e curata. Personale gentile e se lasci mance gentilissimo. Poche sdraio disponibili dopo le 9 del mattino nel periodo di fine luglio.

Die Angestellten im Service sind eher unfreundlich und total demontiviert. Sehr schade. Das Essen ist gut, am Strand gibt es immer Platz. Schade ist aber, dass man nur 1.5dl Becher kriegt bei den Selbstbedienungs-Getränkeautomaten. Ausserdem sind die Verkäufer des Spa-Bereichs sehr hartnäckig und aufdringlich, was nervt, wenn man einfach am Strand liegen und die Ferien geniessen möchte. Wir hatten neu umgebaute Zimmer mit einem riesigen Bett, 2 Einzelbetten und grossem Balkon. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer, vielen Dank!

Breve e conciso: siamo 2 trentenni, in 15 giorni si sono annoiati anche i miei suoceri settantenni. Assillanti e sfibranti i venditori in spiaggia, i negozianti e il personale delle pulizie che tutti i giorni vorrebbe mance e entra in stanza da solo se ti alzi x aprire e sentire che vuole. Scortesi, sgarbati e maleducati a dir poco alcuni della reception, apparite Islam , il bagnino pelato della spiaggia principale e il negoziante davanti la spa! Animazione tristissima, assolutamente niente italiano, nessuna sigla o divertimento in giornata. Scarsissima wifi in camera . In Tv si vede solo Rai1 in italiano. Unico svago port ghalib a 25 min di macchina x passeggiare, bere qualcosa e vedere i negozietti. Arrivati a mezzanotte, volo di rientro a mezzanotte e a mezzogiorno siamo stati cacciati, x prolungare chiedevano 50€. Abbiamo perso una giornata. Cibo buono, camere pulite, bella barriera. Non consiglio.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Vor allem die Leute im Service im Restaurant und in der Reinigung. Immer gut gelaunt und effizient. Der Strand war sauber und das Wasser klar. Unglaublich tolles Riff vor der Haustüre! Auch unser Zimmer mit Meerblick war super. Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Kompliment an die Küche! Etwas "nervig" manchmal waren die Verkäufer. Sie wollten einem immer etwas andrehen und liessen einem nicht in Ruhe schauen. Das fanden wir doch etwas schade und eilt dem Ruf von Ägypten vor. Was wir auch etwas schaden fanden, war, dass die Spielsachen im MiniClub doch etwas zu kaputt teils waren. Allgemein ist der MiniClub in einem eher schlechteren Zustand und müsste unserer Meinung nach renoviert werden, respektive die Spielsachen und Klettersachen erneuert werden. Das Animations-team war ebenfalls sehr nett, doch konnten alle bloss russisch sprechen, also nicht mal wirklich englisch. dies fanden wir für ein internationales Hotel dann doch etwas fragwürdig. Aber alles in allem haben wir uns 2 Wochen lang sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tollte Zeit. Preis-Leistung stimmt sicher! Vielen Dank.

La stanza era grande e pulita con una vista spettacolare! Materasso fermo, air con buona e asciugamani morbidi. I giardini erano meravigliosi come la spiaggia. Buon Centro diving e un mare bellissimo (quanti pesci!). I pasti al buffet (all-inclusive conviene) avevano un ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualita' e c'era sempre qualcosa da mangiare per tutti i gusti e tutte le nazionalita' rappresentate fra gli ospiti. Tutto lo staff dal giardiniere allo chef erano sorridenti, professionali e super ospitali soprattutto il Ricevimento (grazie Kasem!). Spa buona e il banco escursioni ottimo (grazie Mahmoud!). Animazione inesistente ma per noi andava bene cosi! Ci torneremo! Shukran!

Superbe hotel, bon accueil, personnel aux petits soins, cuisine très bonne et variée. Merci aux super serveurs du restaurant, en particulier Ahmed, à l'équipe d'animation très sympa, à Mahmud pour les excursions (à faire à 1h de l'hotel : Sharm el Luli). Seul petit hic, l'insistance du personnel du Planet Spa pour choisir une formule. Une fois faite, nous avons été déçus par les prestations "à la chaîne" qui ne méritaient pas le prix payé.

Con la mia famiglia ho avuto più esperienze in Egitto e per la prima volta sono profondamente deluso dalla scelta dell’hotel. Il Concorde Moreen Beach Resort è lontano dall’essere un vero 5 stelle. La struttura manca completamente di manutenzione (tanto che una mattina si è persino frantumata in mille pezzi una colonna di vetro di una delle vetrate della sala da pranzo). Gli spazi comuni non sono minimamente curati. I tavoli e le sedie del bar esterno, quello della piscina, non vengono puliti da mesi. Per non parlare poi dei tavoli del bar interno, che sono perennemente incrostati e macchiati. Il personale di servizio (ma soprattutto i responsabili di sala) è scortese e arrogante. La qualità del cibo non è ottima e non c’è varietà. È un peccato che non ci sia cura e attenzione per il cliente, visto che il resort si trova in un’ottIma posizione, con una barriera corallina stupenda e un diving center molto serio e ben organizzato. Hotel da evitare!
