Dissapointing

The hotel is quite dated in many aspects the hallways and corridors to the rooms as well as the doors and door frames definitely show their age and some damage. The photos do not correspond to the current state of the hotel. The carpeting is very outdated all over the hotel. Also as I was there for an event the meeting rooms are not properly equipped to deal with today's need both from a lighting, projector and microphone perspective.

I like the property location was pretty close to market n inside the property had a restaurant which has amazing tasty food. I didn’t like the room cuz u could see the walls had patches of paint n my bathroom floor had all water I guess plumbing issue.

Spacious comfortable room, near metro

Deluxe room was large, clean, with comfortable bed and nice shower room. Good wardrobe space, TV and wifi. Only minor comment was that there had obviously been a leak of water from above the shower in the past and there was a dark slightly mouldy stain on the shower cubicle ceiling which would have looked better if it had been repainted, but high ceilings so wasn't close to you. Didn't eat in the hotel, as is often the case with a no-breakfast room deal, breakfast was overpriced in my opinion. Very convenient for Al Doha Al Jadeda metro station, 6QR for day train ticket and the metro was a delight. That was good as there wasn't much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and as a solo female traveller there didn't feel like many other females walking around in that area. Hotel shuttle bus from airport worked well, although you do need to find the email of the hotel which hotels.com doesn't make that easy to find and email them with your flight details. Then when you come through the exit at arrivals there will be someone with a board with the hotel name or ask for them at the information desk. Don't go straight out to the hotel shuttle area. I only waited about 10 minutes. There is one free shuttle an hour back to the airport. This hotel choice worked well for me.

Great if you are in transit and need a place to stay, good location if you want it nesr airport. Place is a bit old, staff are friendly.

I like the fact that room service was regular with provide water, towels, tissue etc. I didn’t like that parts of the hotel room was not clean, especially the bathroom.

Bad experience for a 5 star hotel

There was no service available at hotel dor taxi or private cab. Even hotel staff not supported in getting outside taxi. When i have asked to scan my passport for one official purpose. Scanner was not working. I have booked non smoking double bed room. But it was not available when I reached there. They have given me smoking room.

Very large room, almost like an apartment. Comfortable. Dining option is good, without being special. Staff very helpful. Transfer shuttle appreciated and a benefit.

Modern hotel. Large rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable bed. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of choices. Allowed late checkout til 2pm ,then use of showers in the spa after checkout. This was much appreciated as we had a late flight out, and it was good to shower after a day in 40 deg Doha! Free airport shuttle is also good. Very close to the new Metro, which is cheap and efficient transport across the city. Pleasant staff.

Rooms are spacious , as are the bathrooms. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Free airport shuttle was great. Situated in the old part of Doha, close to the new metro train and easy access to the Souk . Staff were pleasant. We arrived at 1am and were told only a twin room was available, even though we had booked a Superior King and had advised of our late arrival.

I have reviewed this hotel before. Service is consistently excellent and it's a great value with good deals on Expedia including airport transportation. It's my Doha transit home- very comfortable and convenient. One tip- be sure to have a travel converter for your electronics. I found one outlet I could use in the bathroom by the hairdryer. If I have any suggestion for this hotel it would be to put a USB charging outlet in each room to make it easier for unprepared travelers.

The room is clean and spacious, the location is wonderful and the staff are very helpful, I would like to thank Mr. Ahmed Radwan for his great support and the excellent service and I would like to thank Ms. Rose Mary who was in charge for cleaning my room. I would highly recommend the hotel for everyone who are going for business trip to Doha.

Great room with massive king size bed. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. There is a fair bit of construction going on around the hotel but it did not cause any disturbance.

I had a midnight check-in and a business meetings the next day. They offered a delayed checkout to accommodate . There was a friendly welcoming staff and a nice breakfast buffet.

I came to stay only for one night, The hotel was very noisy and I couldn’t sleep in my room at all , the toilet had an awful smell and it wasn’t clean. We paid the night before but the day we checked out another person was in the desk and he asked us to pay again!!!

Staff were amazing. Special thanks to concierege Fares and security guard Vijaj Tamang who went out of their way to assist us with advice/taxis/shopping/sightseeing and the like. Front desk staff also were good, Seperate cafe in the lobby did good coffee. Pool was very welcoming in 41 deg heat. Room was large and very clean. Perhaps doorman need waistecoats not full jackets in summer heat

The meals were well below standard for a 5 star property. Receptionist was not very helpful. Wont recommmend this property as it is also too far from the malls.

Room was very nice and clean. However our shower drain was blocked and after reporting it on two occasions only the second time was the drain un blocked. The water filled the bathroom floor, twice, creating a slipping hazard, not what I expected for this rating of hotel.

The property was underwhelming. The lobby wasn’t clean there was trash on every coffee table, evens. bloody tissue. The spa was ok, and the gym was ok. Nothing special about either one. My room was dirty, there was long pieces of black hair on my pillow and when I pulled the sheets there was a extremely crusty dirty stain that looked like someone left gum or some kind of good in the sheets. So it was clear they don’t change the sheets in everyone room. The bathroom had no toilet paper, and the tv remote was broken. The only thing decent about the room was the layout and the cheap wooden floors. Do NOT waste your money on this hotel. Go to the Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn.

Pleasant room. Diner at restaurant good and reasonably priced. Outdoor pool looked lovely but just to hot to use. Room was well furnished and very clean. Shuttle service from airport was excellent and overall very good value for money.

The location is not the best due to a lot of construction going one but did not cause any problems. It is very close to the new under ground train station which makes it easy to go into the city center & once the rest of the other train lines are completed next year it will be great

Great experience! There was a bit of a communication problem with our airport shuttle, but they went the extra mile!! (The short of it is to make sure you set the shuttle up with enough time for good email communication.)

Hotel is nice and clean, just 15 min far from airport. But bathroom sink water goes very slow, fridger was completely empty and some bath room staff they keep only one.

Very nice hotel near the airport at a good price. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. One comment I will like to add is that the check in was a little long. There was only one person at the desk so she took our passports and asks us to sit down while she attends to check in and check out guests. Adding one more desk person would make the experience a little better, but I would stay there again.

It had very spacious rooms, big bathroom& staff was helpful. Their airport pick up & drop off was excellent. We requested a packed breakfast due to leaving 5 am, which was denied to us, it was disappointing.

Very Dirty hotel. Not 5 stars

The hotel is filthy and WiFi is really bad you have to go to reception. For it to work. I was given 3 rooms all were thick with dust and air con black with dirt. It's very sad as room large and could be nice but housekeeping and management let this place down. The pool is dirty the resturant looks depressing and badly looked after. This is no way 5 star as hotels.com advertise

Stayed at same hotel on 2 occasions. great location and transportation from the airport was very helpful. The shower area was somewhat dirty. Room was clean. The food at the hotel restaurant did not taste good, somewhat bland and basic. The burger I had for dinner was horrible. I had to ask for bath supplies, such as face towels, shampoo and shower gel on both occasions. staff was helpful and friendly.

Spent 2 enjoyable nights here while travelling back to England from Sri Lanka. I was met at the airport and taken there again to catch my flight home. Great service and comftable room with large bed.

Its a lovely hotel with a spectacular staff. They went completely out of their way for me. Room service was great, very quick response. Breakfast buffet has tons of choices. The front door pepple are awesome, they always got me a taxi in two minutes. The front desk people were so great in arranging a tour

Staff very helpful. Swimming pool wasn’t being used much - no towel provision. Exchange rate not very good.

Great value and a super buffet, I'd come back just for that. Airport transfer was simple, easy and free and they had someone at the airport waiting for us, we didn't even have to call upon arrival.

Locates about 20 min car ride from Doha International, the hotel provides 24 hr complimentary shuttle service so it's convenient for guests arriving late or early hour which is quite usual for Trans Atlantic flight! Room was nice and clean. It provides everything you need for a transit and much needed rest! Room rate was very decent and value for money. Highly recommended for any 8 hr transit.

Staff were great picked up at the airport shuttle to the hotel free, had a 10 hour stopover for our next flight able to have a shower & freshen up much cheaper than at the airport, all in all we were very pleased.

I think this was my third stay at the Concorde. It's a great place for a layover, not far from the airport, and convenient shuttle provided. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff is all friendly and professional. I got a good price on Expedia so it was an excellent value.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are large and comfortable. Might be best to purchase the buffet breakfast in advance with room as quite expensive per person otherwise. Really fantastic place to stay, quiet, relaxing, excellent overall. The pool is fantastic the hotel just lovely and well maintained. We have really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.

Clearly had been a fabulous place

Suspect this hotel was once a leader. Overall good with large well appointed rooms. Great location - walkable (in consideration of the heat) to major attractions & food. Nice staff who made and effort and excellent airport transfers. Good wi fi and fantastic restaurant meals. Air-conditioning was consistent and suitable. Alas I had booked this suite for a pamper holiday but movies; spa & sauna did not work.... All were advertised on the Internet.

Close to airport but quiet.

I was only there for a short time between flights. But check in was very quick. The only staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. I was happy to have coffee and tea in the room.

Great hotel

From the start my experience was positive. My flight arrived at 5.00am and I was met with a free transfer to the hotel. At 8.00am the manager came on duty and escorted me to my room. The early check in at no extra charge was very much appreciated. From then on all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great layover stay

I was greeted at the airport upon arrival by an exceptional nice young man. Escorted to the shuttle and taken to the hotel all within 30 minutes of arriving. The hotel clerk greeted me with great customer service. She even booked me a room for my return trip in a week. Thats how impressed I was with the first visit to this facility. I’m looking forward to my return next week. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean!!! No complaints here. I did not partake in any of the other ammenities this trip. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay during a layover...check them out!
