Not only was the property beautiful but the staff were amazing going above and beyond. I would highly recommend Como The Halkin.

An exceptional hotel with a level of staff professionalism and service that is often not matched by much more expensive hotels. Very thoughtful room and hotel design and a special ambience.

Little gem

A little gem in quiet corner. Lovely helpful staff, good breakfast but in room you do have to ask for kettle and tea bags they only have coffee machine and coffee in room.

Lovely hotel in best part of London

I generally like the COMO hotels. I changed over to The Halkin from the Metropolitan. The Halkin is better managed and the environment is lovely. The rooms very nice, quiet and nicely appointed. Great food in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Exceptional hotel - the rooms are amazing and large and the staff were great too

Rooms are luxurious and well maintained. Love the smart toilets! Staff is accommodating and solicitous. Expedia member room upgrade was automatically provided. Only negative is the need to bring back a quality restaurant to the location.

This is an outstanding hotel. The facilities are first rate - very modern, up to date, and classy. Great bed, linen and bathroom. Attention to detail in cleanliness and quality of the furnishings. Bar and breakfast were both lovely - great quality and selection and served with grace and efficiency. Location is quite convenient. Most outstanding was the attitude of the staff. Consistently and genuinely friendly, respectful, kind and helpful.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with enormous rooms, particularly for London. They are beautifully decorated and the yoga mats in every room are very high quality. The hotel is well-located for getting places in London -- a quick walk to the Tube and many buses nearby, too. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only complaint is that in other similar hotels, we have had more staff available and it was a bit more personal. All the staff that we did see were very nice, though. Overall, we would stay there again.

Excellent location, ALL staff super friendly and efficient, including concierge, no problem booking taxis, front desk so helpful, waitress outstanding and incredibly good breakfast, rooms lovely but couldn’t completely suss the lights (complicated - minor negative for us). Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Fantastic stay, amazing staff

Great hotel wonderful service

Excellent hotel in a great location

If I could give this property six stars for service I would. Every possible accommodation was made and every single staff member was incredibly kind, pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to all the major attractions and virtually adjacent to Hyde Park. The breakfast was wonderful, and the room was large, comfortable and beautiful. The hotel is physically quite beautiful and it sits in the wealthiest neighborhood in London. The only possible negatives were the AC being slightly less cool than we would have liked (but probably more than adequate for most) and the shower curtain was hard to open and close. But when we mentioned the AC issue the hotel immediately brought us a fan that completely took care of the problem. I would/will stay there again without hesitation, and, again, would rate it six stars if I could for the impeccable service.

Best boutique hotel ever. And that’s quite the statement from someone who travels a lot. Well appointed and well maintained rooms. Warm, modern classic and incredibly comfortable. The service is. impeccable. Great location. I highly recommend!

Quiet and exceptional luxury

Amazing boutique hotel with a luxurious feel and large spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Quiet and in the heart of Belgravia within literally minutes walk to Hyde park. A real gem of a place. Only had a cappuccino( didn’t try the food) and it was fantastic!

First time I have been there since before Covid and they have done such a nice job refreshing the hotel, with service as impeccable as ever. A truly wonderful boutique hotel. Can’t wait to go back.

Quiet and staff very nice

Not a hotel. More of serviced apartment.

I booked the hotel based on the reviews and the rating. Honestly, the hotel does not deserve the rating or the good reviews. The hotel condition is kind of old and not renovated specially the bathrooms. Overall the vibe is not a hotel vibe, it is more of a serviced apartment vibe. 2 more important things. First, i found a big bug in my room and it was a spider i think. I told them and nothing happened. Second, at the check out they tried to make me pay 5% extra service while my booking was paid in full in advance and when i refused they told me that the 5% is optional and it us ip to me if i dont want to pay it!!!! Very strange and not acceptable.

We had no air conditioning and even after the technician came it still wasn’t working. It was uncomfortable in the evenings. Also the drilling started early in the morning and woke us up a few times during our stay. Staff were very accommodating and extremely efficient. Overall we would go back.

It was absolutely wonderful! The staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

Disappointed

We were excited to stay at the Como Halking and the check-in was long. The A/C sytem didn’t work during our stayed. The solution was to sign a waiver for safety reason for the hotel and open the window at nigth. They showed us another room and the heating/cooling system was broker. Then another room, one of the smallest one and not a very appealing roon to us where the a/c was also a problem. They said their engineers disn’t know how to fix it the problem. We ask for an ironing board the first nigth and nobody removed it or even put it away for our stay. The tray of fruit they had put in our room the first day stayed there until the third day even if there were left over fruits on the plate. Nobody to help with the luggage. Someone went inside our room while we were sleeping at 7:00 am while the “do not disturbed ligth was on”

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and 5* service

We had a wonderful stay at the Como. The hotel is beautiful and our room was amazing, spacious and so comfortable. We were treated incredibly well and all of the little extra touches from the staff such as a drink on arrival and the turn down room service made our stay extra special. We have already recommended the Como to family members and we would love to return again in the future!

My new go-to place while staying in London

Fantastic 5 Star Boutique Hotel. Quiet, unpretentious, excellent restaurant and very quiet/comfortable rooms. Even though it is next to the Peninsula Hotel which is currently undergoing renovation - there was no noise or access issues.

The property has an excellent location. Sevices are provided with a smile. Courteous and helpful staff

Great service and very large rooms for central London. The food is immense.

We just needed a room to come to for a brief period after a long transatlantic flight. We arrived at 9:00am and left at 3:00pm. When we arrived the room smelled smoky because of a previous inconsiderate guest. Not the hotel's fault, but the staff did everything they possibly could to compensate us for the inconvenience. The room was fabulous. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. All around highly recommended.

Exceptional 3 night stay on business. Upgraded to top floor upon arrival (largest room I’ve had in London) and received a bottle of wine, tapas at the restaurant and fresh fruit each day. I ended up staying in the room for the entire stay due to illness but the staff provided great care. Room service allowed me to order a la cart to match my bland taste and even created a citrus ginger tea with honey to help my cold. The concierge arranged for a private doctor visit within hours of my request as well in a nearby office amongst the Belgrave embassies. Every service interaction I had was upbeat and considerate.

Great location with close proximity to Piccadilly and Hyde Park but on quite street without noise at night. The stuff are very friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade at early check in. The room is super spacious and clean.

The service at the property is outstanding especially the concierge Stefano who helped me navigate a dental emergency and set up a sparkling wine tasting excursion to Kent. Cannot say more about the helpfulness of everyone on the staff.

Fantastic hotel, rooms are very nice and elegant, the staff is extremely competent and accommodating.

A very nice stay

We were impressed with the room and very impressed by the dedication of the staff: everyone tried very hard, all the time. There were some small hiccups, but all in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

Personal service and quality of the rooms and location make this a special destination . However, this is probably the only luxury hotel I have stayed in for the last five years that does not provide all the bottled water you need to drink. Surprising for a hotel that does so much to make themselves and their client's stay so special. Not sure about other London Hotels as this is my first choice regardless.

Nice hotel, reasonable price in Knightsbride

Concierge was extremely helpful. Front desk staff a bit less so. The first room we were put in was too small for two people and the rug was not clean. We were moved to another room which was satisfactory. Area is central for everything. There was construction going on, so some issue with having a place for a drink.

A+ hotel! Perfect, quiet location Best hotel of our 2 week vacation. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Halkin room and it was fantastic! Beautiful and well thought out. Highly recommend if you like luxury and quiet.

Fabulous customer service

We arrived to find out that we did not have a room booked in our name. The manager went out of his way to rectify this by booking us into a sister Hotel called the Metropolitan and upgrading our room. Fabulous customer service by both sets of staff in both hotels meant our London trip was not ruined but enhanced.

Good location. Worn down. Needs serious maintenance on simple things like blinds, water taps, toilet flushing handles. Cleanliness poor for a 5-Star property, but bed sheets were crisp and clean.

Beautiful hotel with great central location

Check-in & check out were exceptionally swift. Room very comfortable; our package included a welcome glass of champagne which set the tone for the whole stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu lunch in the Ametza restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a special weekend away.

The location is very central, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and their room was a great size. They recognized my status with Expedia and gave me a welcome gift.

Consistent Impeccable service

Excellent hotel, comfortable and stylish. Great location next to Green Park and Hyde Park. We were Upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite with views over the courtyard garden. Truly a 5* hotel

Always a pleasure!

The staff, service and room was amazing. You will find that when they say they have a king size bed it truly is (most places in London love to push two twins together). Quiet, tranquil and modern -- the Halkin never disappoints me.

Great hotel and guest services.

Very nice hotel with impeccable customer service from the moment you arrive. Located in a quiet neighborhood near embassies and about 15 min walk to Harrods and the shopping district. Also saw that it was near Buckingham Palace. Room was very nice, spacious, and quiet making for good night rest. Was here for business trip and cannot complain.

An excellent hotel with fantastic staff. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. What really surprised me for a 1st floor room was how quiet it was, not a single sound to disturb.

Great Concierge

Great location and really nice rooms. The jewels of the hotel are the gentlemen who work at the concierge desk. Most helpful and led us to experiences we would have never known about. Rain, rain and more rain, they ran outside to hail cabs, open our doors and more.

Great location but too quiet

The rooms are comfy and clean and it’s very quite , but the lobby is too plain with no vibe and the bar is almost always empty . The ceiling in my room started leaking in the middle of the night and that was very annoying.

Wonderful boutique hotel

Everything was almost perfect. I would have liked to see myself when drying my hair. There was no outlet in the bathroom. There was a mirror in the living room area but very hard to see yourself.

Modern Boutique Hotel

Excellent boutique hotel

The staff/service was excellent. Upon check-in we were escorted to our room whereupon we were shown all that our room offered -- discreetly hidden stocked refrigerator, bedside consoles to operate everything from lighting to temperature from bed, etc. There is also a wall keypad to operate everything the consoles provide and a button to alert housekeeping to make-up your room -- as well as a button to reach your butler should you need anything. Linens were excellent, bed extremely comfortable and room was incredibly spacious. Turndown service included fresh fruit and popcorn (perfect for my 11 year old). We received a hand written thank you note for choosing their hotel and there was a complimentary bottle of wine on the desk upon our arrival. Many thanks to the entire staff for an excellent stay, and to Greg (the general manager) for making sure it was so!

Great Hotel

Great hotel with exceptional service. My son was so comfortable in his bed he had to be dragged out of it in the morning. The only downside. We only had one night there.

Superb

The location is perfect. A quiet street near the parks, tube and Victoria Station. Two blocks to great food. We saw three rooms (two stays and a friends). Size and facilities are more than enough to be very comfortable. Perfect again. Staff was the best we have found (and we have travelled quite a lot). Concierges are unmatched.

This is a gem.

We stayed here for two days on our way back to the US. We chose it based on the reviews we read and the posted pictures. This hotel did not disappoint. Staff was very courteous and prompt. We stayed at room 209, which is a corner Holkin room. It is a very large quiet room with big windows overlooking greenery. Staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was large by any standard. We also had a Nessprso machine and daily complimentary bottles of water. Also, there was an adapter with multiple USB ports for phone charging which made life very easy. Location was great and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, providing the right amount of firmness and support. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly stay here again.

Amazing from check in to check out. The staff was accommodating in every way. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. The metro was at the doorstep. Shopping around the corner. The area was quiet and posh. I recommend this boutique hotel highly.

This hotel has been very popular with those in the know since it opened roughly 20 years ago. It's a well deserved accolade. Everything the Halkin does, it does well. The service is exemplary, the rooms are comfortable (large, quiet, attractive), the food is very good, and the location is central. Book well in advance since it's popularity continues.

Fantastic!!

I have stayed at every 5 star property in London, and although there are many amazing properties, this is now my favorite. It's small, intimate and cozy. The hotel staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. The service is prompt and discreet. The concierge team was fabulous and booked us into all of our favorite restaurants on short notice. The neighborhood is the finest in London, I want to take up permanent residence!!

Quiet Modern Luxury

The Halkin by COMO is a lovely modern international class hotel with exceptional full service, and beautifully accommodating staff. The location is best-suited to access to the embassy zone and anything west of Buckingham Palace, there are always taxis nearby for wherever you want to go. The facilities are quite new and perfectly maintained, and the lighting systems and controls throughout the room are superior which may sound obvious but not always a given. Nearest underground at Hyde Park Corner on Piccadilly Line is three blocks easy walk. Harrods/Sloane Street shopping is about an eight-to-ten block complicated winding around walk but certainly doable and in a lovely neighborhood.
