I am writing regarding a duplicate charge issue for the stay at your hotel. We stayed in Room 308, and the guests were Betty Lan and Janne Tong. The payment was made separately by each guest, but it appears that my credit card has been charged twice.
Seul inconvénient, la réceptionniste demande 100 euros de caution en casch. Lorsque vous etes a pied et fatigué de la journée c est difficile de nous demander cette caution car il faut retourner a 1 km pour trouver un atm.
Staff were very accommodating and very friendly. Location was not bad. Don't expect a hot shower which was a major downfall for us. The bed were definitely not queen beds and the room was extremely small.
No bathtub plug Wifi didn’t really work Room temperature was weird
Breakfast was nice, staff was very helpful
Problems During Our Stay at Comfort Inn-Midtown W.
My wife and I had major problems at Comfort Inn - Midtown West. Problems included: 1. We arrived to find that our room reservation had been canceled. Management made error of canceling the reservation "without giving us the required 24 hr. notice" (notice due on 12/8 at the latest for scheduled 12/9/24 check-in); 2. Restricted taxi access (Loading zone in front of hotel blocked by "double parked" cars); 3. Poorly attended and mediocre breakfast bar; 4. Small, cramped quarters (Lobby and assigned room); 5. Mis-functioning room keys (Constant nuisance with needing to have reset).
I need my receipt.
I am not sure why the ratings for this place are low compared to others. The only negative I could say is that the wifi was not good. I had to rely on my phone cellular data. It's a bit of a walk to the main Times Square area (1/2 mile, 10-15 minutes) but overall I thought this was a great place especially for the price.
Smallest rooms I have ever seen in North America. Do not book here
I have stayed here a few times already and I’ve never had an issue with staff or rooms . This hotel is perfect location to where me and my daughter want to go and walking distance
Don't get the room we wanted and had special requested since June. Had 2 people and got 2 towels. Maid took all washcloths and bath mats and didn't replace them. Next day left one washcloth even after we left a note and $10. Housekeeping refilled shampoo and poured it all over the bathtub and left it for us to clean up
Average if you need a cheap(er) hotel in NYC, but general cleanliness could be improved. We found lots of little black hairs in bedding and on towels, the towels needed replacing as they were covered in holes. Also, breakfast isn’t very good, we ended up eating breakfast out most days. Some staff more polite than others.
Is very close to the cruise port
I stayed here for 3 nights, and for the price, you can't fault it. The room was a good size and very clean, there was an included breakfast, which was fine. Bagels, waffles, fruit, yoghurt, juice, eggs/sausages etc. Housekeeping everyday For me, the only down side was the distance to any public transport. I expected to walk a lot, but staying here added 15mins to any excursion. Would stay here again, as a base it was fine, and as I said, price was half of what you can pay for being closer to Times Square etc.
Comfort inn midtown Manhattan
Great location. 15min walk to Time square. 10min walk nearest subway station. Rooms were decent size & clean. Breakfast included was a huge plus. Waffle maker, Hot Egg, sausage, bagels, toast, coffee. Only downside was my room was at the front of the hotel & the street outside was very noisy in the early hours.
Read some bad reviews about this hotel before we visited but I don’t understand why anyone would have complaints! It’s a basic hotel but the rooms are spacious and it’s within walking distance of Times Square. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is a great bonus if you want something to grab in the morning. We’d definitely look at staying here again on our next NYC visit!
The lady was so rude at the front desk. Our reservation got canceled and refused to help us and then got put in a shoe box room in the lobby
We chose this hotel due to the price and still being relatively close to Times Square. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Times Square area as well as the subway station to go to and from LGA. The free breakfast did not have a lot of options and was not well stocked but we were still able to find enough. The rooms were small as to be expected in NYC but clean. We found the room to be stuffy and we were unable to control the air/heat in room. Staff came daily to tidy the room but did not leave new towels, we had to call each day for replacements. Overall it was a pleasant stay, I would not be opposed to staying here again for the right price, but I also wouldn’t rush back.
It’s fine for what it is. Doesn’t go above and beyond by any means
Good location and in walking distance from all the hustle and bustle, convenient breakfast was a nice touch not having to go out for breakfast and could just start my day after leaving hotel. Overall happy with my stay would stay again thanks
Rooms were clean and good location. Nice to be able to leave luggage before check in
Perfectly situated to explore NYC
Excellent
Great value
Location, service, breakfast, all very good. Short stays in small rooms great value.
We were in a room off the check in desk. Very loud. Minimal privacy.
I didn't even stay there. She refuses to refund me
Great vacation
The room we booked 10 months ago was not available. Booked a king bed was given two small beds.
Staff were great. Property was clean. Breakfast needs improvement. One morning we had to wait for staff to return with groceries such as bread and yogurt. Knowing the numbers of guests on site the hotel should have had sufficient supplies on hand
Good experience
It was a good experience, receiving adequate attention, my trip was short and we were only 2 people, the best thing was the bed because it was very comfortable, the room is very small, maybe for several people with suitcases it would be uncomfortable, but it serves the purpose of allowing one to rest in a central location.
Amazing place to stay
Good location
Breakfast and the location was not good fr times square
Staff was very nice
Thanks.
Many thanks for everything.
location and comfort was the best
The property itself was fine. The staff was awful and incompetent, it took an hurto check in three rooms. When we booked through expedia we had made sure that none of the credit cards were being charged as we wanted to pay. Once we arrived. We were told that the credit cards were only for the hold when we got to the hotel we realize that that morning we got charged the entirety of our trip but the charges were still pending, upon arrival we had to pay the entirety of our trip and we were told that we would get our money back at a later time. The problem with this was that no one had told us that this was going to happen and we ended up with over $500 of our money unavailable for us to use. No one could tell us why this happened. No one could find a policy and no one was helpful. Utterly disappointed.
Good
The heater was not working, and despite telling the staff, no action was taken, so the room was cold.
Good
They put us in a room on the ground floor beside the breakfast buffet so we were woken up at 6 AM everyday by the noise
Great stay with a nice breakfast.
Best customer service by Toni and Fatima at the front Desk , they go far and beyond their scope of incredible customer service. They are always friendly inhospitable. I will continue to be loyal to this account.. from Mr.Guerrero
Good location
Hotel was clean, although the room was very small. Breakfast was good. The location was good.
It was fine. Clean and way quiter than I expected. Breakfast area is super tight. Front desk staff was very friendly.
Calme et
The staff here was very helpful. As a wheelchair person, traveling can be a lot.
Property was clean and quiet. I like the option for breakfast. I like that there was a small fridge and microwave in the room. Everything was good. I wish the room was a tad bit bigger considering the price. But it definitely works for a solo traveler. I would definitely recommend.
Hotel is clean and well kept. Approx 3 block walk to Times Square, approx 5 block walk to the subway. Rooms are typical small NY sized rooms. Price is reasonable for New York. Breakfast was ok but did not have a wide range of food, nor any options for dietary requirements eg gluten free. The wifi was ok but not great. Overall a descent hotel that I would stay at again.
10 mins walk from times square. Comfy and clean!
Great location for everything. If your going on a cruise 2 minute walk straigh up the street. My first time to New York found the rooms small.. Over all great place and it is safe to walk after dark.
Good location
Great location! Short walk into Times Square
Perfect location, great staff, great room definitely returning.
Good
Bon hotel
Staff were friendly and got me checked in early!
Average
Hotel was decent for money paid. Breakfast was included but youll struggle to get a seat to eat your food. Food is basic. King size bed was comfy and massive so perfect to sleep in. Not any space to store clothes so dont pack to much.
Cancelled my reservation before we arrived. Found that out standing in the lobby of the hotel. When I Orbitz called the hotel to find out why, they magically reinstated my reservation. The rest of the booking was great
Great stay. More seating needed at breakfast.
The location is great and staff is awesome. But : - the wifi is really poor quality / not working - wholes on the wall in the bathroom - fan very old and no way to turn off the noise (I had to unplug)
location and comfort
aside from thw bathroom being a tight fit and a loose doorknob, the room and stay in general was extremely comfortable with a great location
Good mid price fall vacation.
It was very friendly.
Overall, our experience was mixed. The hotel location was great, and the street was not too busy for drop-off and pick up. The staff were friendly and accommodating (some more than others). There was a nice breakfast with hot items (eggs, sausage, tater tots, waffles) in the morning, which was nice. We found the room to be adequate (not many/any amenities) but quite disturbing was that we found short dark hairs on the pump conditioner in the bathroom. The shower door leaked, which wet the bathroom floor and so we had to use some towels to keep the floor dry. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not replenish the towels or some other items in the room (coffee). The most troubling part for us was that we could not get internet service in our room for our computers -- this was a partial working trip, so not having easy access to the internet was tough. We had to take our computers down to the lobby to get work done. The whole experience was a mixed bag, but given that we paid approx. $350 a night, this experience leans more towards being disappointing.
Great location
This is our third stay at this hotel. Great spot.
This property was a block from the cruise terminal so it was convenient.
Friendly staff. Clean room but a little small as struggled where to put the cases (expected a bit as Manhattan). Air a little dry in room. 10-15min walk to subway and Times Square, which had food options en route. Saw the reviews about breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised, always got what wanted and was swiftly topped up when empty, did struggle one day to get a table to sit and eat.
Small rooms, bathroom door did not shut and hit the toilet when opening. Run down property.
Staff was very nice!
The property was very close to the Cruise ship port and central Manhattan. Very walkable.
The fact that at night it is very dark, no parking. No food of any kind near by.
My reservation was cancelled due to a decline credit card issue. Upon arrival I was told if I would accept a down grade room having no choice I accepted a room at C102 which was very noisy. It was near the laundry area, and ice making machine. My issue is that I was charged same price as my reservation for this room which l think should not have been.
Food is terrible, far from the subway, little rooms very expensive for what i got
Walkable to everything, to Time Square, to Cruise port and to train station
Upon arrival i left a message coe a taxi for Friday Oct.2 at 11am At checkout she told me she did not make the call for a taxi. The evening clerk was very helpful
Price/value/location/service
Very, very average. NOT a queen size bed. Showerhead broken. Breakfast was overcooked AND cold. Convenient spot to walk to Times Square and cruise terminal.
.
This hotel is in walking distance to the port of Manhattan. I walked with large luggage and a backpack and it was about a 6 minute walk
It was just ok. Everything was at an acceptable level at best. The fact there are no waters in the room and the HVAC system dries out the air so easily is an issue. I shouldn’t have to use an elevator to get water.
Great place
Affordable place to stay while visiting the city. Walkable to local dining areas & metro stations. Would stay again.
Good hotel
Excellent location, friendly staff, recommended
The rooms were very very small. The breakfast was limited at best. Buffet was not stocked for the amount of people it was serving, if you could even get in the serving. area. This is the worst Comfort Inn I have ever stayed at
Perfect Location For Cruisers
I loved the convenience of this hotel. Close to Hell’s Kurchen with plenty of dining options. Close to the port with lots of things to do. Just 2 blocks from the Carnival cruise port.
Location is good.
Near to metro -plenty of reasonably priced restaurants nearby
.
Location is good and walkable. Room not so good, literally 5 feet from lobby/breakfast area. Noise level NOT acceptable. Staff made no effort even late hours to keep noise down. Breakfast ground noise nightmare!
Ask for Queen bed got more like a double. Staff is nice ding area very small and crowded for the amount of guest staying. Good location can walk to Central Park, Times Square, and subway system.
Walkable to transit Convenient to Manhattan attractions. In a neighborhood with nearby places to eat that are not high buck. Clean. Ok breakfast.
The bathroom had mold. The door was so thin and I could hear a full conversation outside clearly from inside the room. Vice versa. The worst part is that WiFi is not working at a room. The location was good. The subway station is close. It works for a night or two if you need a place to just sleep.
There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and towels when I first walked in. The water pressure sink had very little pressure. The wall paper was peeling.
The one lady at check in was very rude. She ignored me when I said hello and then when another guest came up she asked them “what do you want?”. The property is very tiny and very little room to move around the room.
The rooms were fine but they were very stingy with the towels. sometimes they're not even leave the towels for the floor. we were always missing towels
Very cramped dirty room, only one bath towel in room, didn’t notice until we went to shower. . We were on first floor and the door looked like it had been kicked open or pried open and the locks didn’t feel adequate to protect us. For $500 a night and for Comfort Inn, I would expect more. I Would never stay there again.
The property is clean, rooms very small, breakfast was a miss - cold, artificial eggs, coffee lukewarm and not good,
Highly recommend 😊
The location was “Safe” and doable for walking distance to Times Square. The rooms were awful and the size of a room closet so if you’re not planning to be in the room then it’s perfect, otherwise it’s college dorm life.. The staff was friendly and for the price it’s doable in a pinch. The rooms not the cleanest but I’ve had worse, unfortunately.
Small facility. Tiny rooms. No walking space in rooms, not designed for families. Indoor dining very small. Elevator slow and backs up all day with numerous guests using 1 elevator. Staff is friendly, but the rooms are not designed for luggage space
