I loved how attentive the staff was as well as how accessible the city is to the location. So much to do and see just around. I loved seeing the bridge at sunset and sunrise

Great location for us. Quiet area with plenty to walk to

The workers are friendly and helpful. We asked for towels as we stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was provided in the dining area. Dining area was clean and a worker will refill.

Hot water broke during our stay and fire alarm went off which was a major inconvenience. The manager was very nice and gave us a free night to make up for it all. Nice staff!

We had a great time in SF. The quality of THIS Comfort Inn was great.

The included hot breakfast was good but it is important to get there early, it’s very popular. This property has no resort fee like many others so the cost is much cheaper. The parking as US30/day which is less than half most other hotels in the area. The room was clean, a little older, but the price was right!!

Very central hotel, close to many tourist areas. Cleanliness was good. Front desk Lilibeth is amazing truly the best very sweet and friendly. The breakfast offered is really good too and convenient. Parking is a bit tight but thats normal for San Francisco

Liked it was clean and close to everything. Did not like having to pay for parking. Should be included if getting a room.

wished there was a type of fitness room in hotel, otherwise everything was clean. When area on carpet near window leaked when rained; staff came in immediately to work on it. since it was our first time in San Francisco, it would have been nice if there were flyers provided in room of maps, recommended restaurants, sites to see in area that were walkable

This is a decent hotel! We got the accessible room that said it had a view of the bay however it does not. The receptionist immediately offered another room higher up but it was not Handicapped accessible nor did it have the additional living area. So that was the only bummer is that we were promised a view but did not get one. Nothing against the hotel itself but maybe an Expedia error.

Amazing stay!

Good price, clean and conveniently located. Close to the city center, yet away from the crowd. Johnathan, the kind and professional receptionist was great.

Room was dirty upon arrival (trash, dirty bathroom) full of mold that you can’t even sleep or be in the room because of the smell, next to the elevator which was very annoying to hear all night the noise of the elevator and the people in and out.

Expedia is not good to do business with as they refer you back to property for resolving differences. The property says their hands are tied because of Expedia and followed with an email that my issue is with Expedia. Expedia then tells me to get signed info from the hotel and they will review my refund request. Very unhappy customer, advice all to look elsewhere for their lodging needs.

This place is really nice. Clean and safe. And parking is easy too. We lost our key card, and the staff was so nice to help us without charging more. The breakfast is good and there are lots of dining option nearby.

Clean and comfortable with a decent price

Staff was unprofessional made me pay for two nights when I only stayed one and didn’t give me a refund because of “policy” even though it was their mistake.Also there where stains in our bed and front desk said there were no housekeeping for one nighters.

Holiday weekend stay

When we arrived the parking garage was gated and tight, but fine. The front desk let us know to unload before going to our parking spot because the elevator didnt go past the first level of the parking garage. We stayed on the 4th floor and the room was a little stuffy and musty, but that went away after letting the A/C run. The room did not have a microwave or fridge but did have an ice machine in the hall way. From our room you could hear all the cars passing by and people talking and the elevator but for us it was fine. The area seemed safe and we walked from the hotel to the peirs and back in the day and night. The front desk customer service was always nice, check in and out was easy and fast. Overall we would book again for the price and location it was a great stay!

Wonderful hotel

The staff was short-tempered. Bad day? It’s also difficult to park with a van/truck. Tiny spots with tight corners and a very uneven ground. In the middle of the night someone tried to open our shared room door - I would definitely either ensure we did not have an adjoining door or ensure it was locked before bed and put a piece of furniture in front of it. Very creepy! The surface is “clean” but if you look you can tell it isn’t well maintained. Ex: the water suppression system is covered in lots of dirt/dust. I’m still waiting for the pending hold to release but it was a weekend date so we’ll see how that turns out.

The hotel was okay, we enjoyed the continental breakfast daily which helped save on the cost of eating out around San Francisco. The hotel room itself was pretty small. However, I booked this hotel specifically because Expedia said “parking included”, which is not true. They charge you parking when you show up. This would have been nice to know this ahead of time as I would have booked the many hotels surrounding them that have free parking and or lower priced parking. These fees add up and I don’t appreciate this not being told to me beforehand. Please update your listing on Expedia!!!

The hotel was a good location in Pacific Heights. They only clean the room every 3rd day so you need to request extra towels and toiletries. Overall we had a pleasant stay

Awful. The truth

So I was staying for 2 nights for a trip to San Francisco I got a queen bed room with view. First off I tried to get room before check and get an early check in however I was told it was unavailable. However my friend that had the exact same room and booked after I did was able to get early check in. I tried right before and after and nothing. They did not give daily towels or anything in the morning they said I’d have to go to the front desk. The room had dirty pillows and the bathroom light did not work at all. The windows were filthy and the ac/ hot air did not work. The lights near the bed flicked from time to time and the shower was not stocked and was dirty. Very bad experience.

Owni checked us in and he was the best. From the start we felt welcomed after having a super stressful day. Thank you so much Owni! I do have one negative comment, and that is parking was not free and pretty expensive. I don't think we saw that on the website when we reserved, I also heard from another guest they felt they were cheated too

The property was fine and convenient but would not recommend the breakfast. Maybe due to the holiday we arrived at breakfast 9:05 (closes at 9:30) Hardly anything left, no friut,yogurt, milk, even the juice dispenser was water. Total waste. The beds were very soft, not what I’ve had at other comfort inns. Asked for another pillow, they were out. Walls were thin, heard conversations on both sides of our room. Very close to another building so you also heard that noise and street noise throughout the night. Not staying here again.

Jonathan was the desk clerk when I checked in and there was an issue with a double booking. He suggest I contact Expedia which I did and Jonathan and Expedia was able to correct the issue. Jonathan was very kind and helpful through out the entire process.

Strategically situated near Lombard street, good location for a tourist, you can get to all the tourist location. The hotel staff are polite and the rooms were clean.

Breakfast was a joke! No housekeeping, windows just to look 👀 outside were as dirty as can be. So sorry but I had seen review and I said ro my self it cant be that bad it was worse. If you have seen many bad review why don’t you fix the issues. Your hotel has a good location take advantage.

A great value stay

We stayed there to visit our daughter, who lives nearby. Enjoyed having a good desk, nice bay view. The breakfast was not bad, and all staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to have pizza, sandwiches, coffee all across the street.

Jean was very helpful and knowledgeable. Her information helped us get around town easily and dining tips were on point. Definitely coming back back.

Decent stay

V comfy bed, would sleep in again. Nothing fancy but would return to this hotel. Parking was very expensive and the parking garage was comically tiny and hard to navigate. Hotel location was good. Front desk staff was nice. Included breakfast was decent. Elevator was so incredibly slow it was more efficient to take the seven flights of stairs.

Room was spacious and clean

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. One of the lifts is under construction and breakfast wasn’t great. But great location and comfy beds.

Untrustworthy staff

Location wise this hotel is in a good location close to Fishermans Wharf and has great views! Breakfast option is good. However it is let down by rude and unhelpful staff both during and after our stay. We left our passports, cash and a laptop in a safe in the room, it took us several phone calls to arrange to get the items recovered from the locked safe and forwarded on to us, but when the package arrived, the cash was missing. Despite promises from the General Manager to contact us we have not heard from him, emails are being ignored. Very disappointed.

The staff was very helpful. We arrived early, and they stored our suitcases so that we could sightsee. There was a beautiful view of the Golden Gate bridge from our room. We will definitely stay here again!

Budget Friendly Hotel

Comfortable hotel for a short stay. The hotel was clean, staff were nice and the buffet breakfast was good. They have secure underground parking which is always nice when doing a road trip.

I have stayed here a couple times and I enjoy my stay every time. Breakfast is great and it’s walking distance to pier 39. I would recommend staying here.

We had a nice view out our window of the bridge but the window could’ve been cleaner. Otherwise everything was great.

Great staff and clean, friendly and comfortable hotel. Just sucked one elevator didn’t work and breakfast is jam packed. Other than that, we had a really great stay. Beds are insanely comfortable and everyone is so nice and helpful.

Everything was fine

The room is a bit dark and the coffee from the previous occupant was not cleaned out. Also no shampoo and took the housekeeping quite some time to come to refill.

The front desk staff and service staff were friendly and courteous but the property is a little outdated. The location is convenient to public transportation and the Bay. It would have been nice if the hotel had a color map to the attractions and the most convenient bus or train that can get us there. In any case, when we asked, they did their best to give suggestions & recommendations. The rooms were clean but the carpet is old and stained. It could use a good steam cleaning or replaced. Daily complementary hot breakfast buffet was very nice.
