I think the cleaning can be improved and the breakfast too

Great little property

Great little property with amazing breakfast. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. My only issue was our AC wasn’t really working and the rooms were a little small. But we were really in our room too much.

found a cockroach walking on the wall in our room the very first 5 mins of our stay . advised staff right away and was told that room was sprayed that day by the exterminator and they were told it was ok to rent out so they did. when i advised them and showed them pics all they did was move us to another room (they did offer us a refund but only to go to another hotel). apparently these roaches come up drains and the exterminator didn't do his job . nothing further was offered to resolve this issue. stayed cause it was the cheapest option and i personally inspected the new room but was still discusted seeing a cockroach for the first time in a room

Room is fine- the inside of the property is Diiiiiiiirrrty, grimy dirty. Rooms just had garbage taken out daily, had to request extra towels. Breakfast is below average. Eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt, cereal.

Old and dirty carpets, smells bads, need a lot of tlc.... Staff are friendly and nice. Breakfast is bad, no options

Our sheets smell like they didn’t wash from the previous customer stays. In general everything smell really bad. My kids had the worse experience.

Don’t clean room

Dated property. Room that we got smelled damp, mildewy and like it was a smoking room in the past. Pictures make the place look way better than it actually is. Hallways are dark and dingy. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Desk was directly in front of the air conditioning unit and was constantly blowing cold air on you when trying to sit at the desk. Only one TV in the room and it is very dated and slow as well. No Netflix or any streaming services on the TV. It’s also situated in front of the bed so awkward viewing angle from the couch. Internet service was slow and laggy. Web pages loaded slow. Breakfast was the same thing every day (only stayed 2 nights). Sausages were salty, scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, apples (these were really gross apples), small muffins, OJ and Apple juice and make your own waffles. Pros: central location, friendly staff, relatively quiet and plenty of parking. Recommend paying a little more for a better place.

The property was easy to get to and conveniently located to the areas we were visiting. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good with plenty of options!

1 night stay

Front desk was super nice, fast check in. Room smelled musty. And breakfast was ok, what made it worse is that there were so many sick people coughing everywhere around found it was disgusting

The corredor was dirty and smelly. The carpet has a very bad smell. The situation was a lil better inside the room. The staff are very nice. The breakfast was the same everyday (sausage and eggs… no bacon… ). The space to prepare your coffee is too small, this way the lines waiting for you to finish is big. Not coming back for sure!

Not a good place

Just was not a good stay, they overcharged my card I have not been reimbursed and I didn’t receive room service for 4 days in a row , will never stay there again.

Trash!

Upon arrival I immediately noticed this hotel is not what is photographed. It is extremely outdated and I only stayed as it was after midnight. The staff lied about everything asked, towels were never brought, I had to get them off the cart myself. I saw a roach in my room, then when asked for another room I saw another unknown bug. This place is disgusting. Breakfast staff are rude, as I stood in line the breakfast lady yelled at me "Two minutes lady" after she watched me come down at 6:15. I told her I am a maam not a lady. She shrugged her shoulder then smirked. This place is rancid and only caters to foreigner that barely speak english.

The room was spotless! Hospitality was pretty good. 10/10!

Great property, decent breakfast & clean rooms! Microwave, air conditioning, and fridge all worked well. Friendly front desk and snack station near by (first floor). Would stay here again! :)

The property was clean and it was walking distance to various restaurants.

The carpet/rug was dirty and smelled bad. The room wasn’t the same of the picture and the hotel didn’t advice me they do not recieve packages.

We are very happy with the value for dollar on this hotel option. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast options were good but a little less than other comfort suites that we have stayed at in the last month. We would stay here again without concern and would recommend it as well. Everything was as it was displayed on the website.

Breakfast should be better

The hotel stunk so bad. All of the first floor, second floor and including the dinning area smelled bad. The first room provided stunk so bad, i had to complain and then another room on a different level was giving to us. Breakfast was tasteless and very limited. I would not be back or recommend this place.

Simple, clean and easy to access. Staff was very gentle and caring.

We had a fire alarm at 6am, everybody out in the cold in pajamas (some barefoot), because they have faulty toasters and somebody forgot their toast. Next day, the one toaster left was also faulty and somebody had once again forgot their toast. The next day, (our rest day) they did alarm tests from 8am. Breakfast is over before it the schedule given by the front desk. Shuttle schedule to parks is just too limited, and the driver kept complaining about his work.

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites many times and when it was formerly Fairfield Inn & Suites. This stay was good but the hotel is looking a little tired now and the breakfast has become more limited than it used to be. Having said that the staff remain very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Overall a good stay as usual.

A Traumatizing Experience at This Hotel and the Ho

While the hotel provided daily cleaning, fresh towels, and arranged sheets, the overall experience ruined my vacation. We purchased discounted Universal Studios tickets through the hotel, only to find out they required us to attend a Holiday Inn Vacation Club presentation to get the tickets. When we asked to pay full price for the tickets and skip the presentation, the staff Victoria refused and pressured us to attend. The presentation started at 8 AM and didn’t end until 12:30 PM, even though we made it clear we weren’t interested. We wasted half a day of our trip—time we should have spent at the park, which closed at 6 PM as our ticket is only for 2 park -1 Day. The $35 ticket discount wasn’t worth the frustration and lost time. On top of that, the Vacation Club pitch is a scam. They claim their timeshare saves money, but when you do the math, it costs over $131,000 for two weeks of vacation per year, including interest and maintenance fees. Booking vacations on your own would cost less than half of that, with none of the headaches or restrictions. This experience was disappointing and manipulative. As a loyal Gold member who regularly books hotels for my contractors, I’ll never trust Holiday Inn or their Vacation Club again. They ruined what should have been a special vacation.

Overall good experience

Spent a good 4 day stay in this hotel. Great location close to Universal Studios, overall cleanliness was good and employees were friendly and attentive when needed. Room was ok and spacious with small fridge and microwave provided. Clean bathroom, towels and bed sheets. Main complaint is that beds were not comfortable as I hoped for but just good enough. We had a good experience and will stay there again if needed. Let's hope some improvement are made.

The pool was good to swim in. Hot tub was not on. Room was directly across from the employee only room, which they kept blocked open, starting at 5:15am every morning and used a wood block so the door didn't auto shut after going in and out of that all morning to resupply the free breakfast buffet. That was loud and the noise was frequent for about one hour every morning. Staff were friendly and kind which is so appreciated. Had to exchange a towel that appeared to have food crumbs on it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but very convenient in the mornings. The shuttle was easy to access and use. Great spot for a family to stay.

A very clean hotel. Friend and extremely helpful staff. Loved the free coffee all day. Rooms were modern and everything worked great. Bathrooms were the best ive seen. Hot water on demand! Property is a bit.dated, especially reception area. Complimentary breakfast can be better. The eggs had no taste at all. Nevertheless overall a great option of a hotel. Very convenient

We really enjoyed our stay, and the location was convenient and close to the major theme parks. The room was clean and to our liking. The hallways were a little smelly and dark. The breakfast was good and simple. Overall 4/5

Location, shuttle and breakfast

The hotel is fine. I had a great two nights. My room was very clean and the staff was very nice. The only disappointment was the carpet. It is dirty and smelly and makes the hotel look old.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have complementary coffee all day. Good breakfast and eating area kept clean. Decor could be brighter and more modern. Location felt remote from International Drive for walking at night.

The drawer for the night stand kept opening & the room was old & had an odd smell. The coffee table was in rough shape & the place seemed a little run down. It was very disappointing after seeing the reviews & high rating.

Carpet throughout hallway and room had a musty smell. The air conditioning unit was noisy and made a tapping sound the entire time it was running. The only positive review about the property was the cleaning staff, they were very attentive and even made my sons bed with his blanket and stuffed animal he had brought from home when they cleaned our room.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Safe during the recent hurricane. Clise to many eating outlets. Breakfast included was adequate.

Stay was okay. Arrived to my room and it was very humid and had leftover trash in the trashcans and hair in the bathtub. The hotel was booked, so they weren't able to move us.

We will definitely be staying there again. It’s very convenient where it’s located. it’s very clean and the staff are wonderful, but the housekeeping only speak Spanish.

Good but smelly

The hotel is very nice and updated. Beds are comfortable. Elevators are slow and kind of quirky but not a big deal. My main complaint is that my room reeked of old the smell of rotten Mexican food. I could not get rid of it even after using an entire can of neutralizing air freshener. Truly nauseating.

What an awful experience. I never want to go through this ever again. When we got there, the first room we checked in smelt like cigarettes with a bug inside the toilet. I requested to change rooms which we did, but that room smelt like mold was growing all over the room, it was disgusting. I was traveling with my two sons, we decided to go brag something to eat around 2:30 in the morning, when we got back there was roaches in the room! it was a terrible experience. I really do not recommend anyone to stay there. I was crying because at this point my kids would rather sleep in the car then be in that room. and thats what we did.. Sleep in the car that night, NEVER AGAIN. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE! Not even my worst enemy.

Perfect stay! Comfy room

The hallway's don't smell the best from the carpet, however the rooms were very clean and the staff we're great! I would recommend this hotel to someone trying to save on accommodations when travelling to Orlando. Nearest restaurants are about a 10 min walk.

Decent place to stay for a short visit

The room was recently remodeled it was decent the hallways need to be updated I barely spend any time in the room I was out all day so the room got the job done it was a nice decent place to sleep and the breakfast was decent. They had sausage everyday it would have been nice if they had a variety like bacon or something else

Everything was ok, nothing against the hotel, just had a couple of noisy people coming in all times of night.

Overall the stay was good. Staff was very friendly! My room was pretty musty upon arrival but clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well, the mini fridge worked well, beds were comfortable. Disappointed with the breakfast. Bland limited items, no organization causing all of the ignorant disrespectful tourists to be all over you and pushing their way all over (as expected for the area). Convenient location close to attractions and once the road work is done it’ll be much easier to get around.

Never ever will I again

Tell me how a hotel full of guest tell you they have wash no cloths?and the next day allegedly clean your room and only leave 2 towels for 2 adults with 4 kids and still no was cloths, really awful. The first night okay I will give you the benefit of the doubt, hotel really busy a holiday weekend, but the 2nd ridiculous after I made you aware.NEVER AGAIN. Cleaning staff just really lazy on the 4th floor

Stayed for 6 days and I lost say this Hotel is definitely great, shuttle buses to and from universal studios that run on time so be sure to be out there 10-15 mins before arrival. Hotel staff was amazing, breakfast was always hot and ready. Could add more items but overall great way to save money from going out to eat my daughter was alway full from breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone turning to save a bit but always enjoy the luxury of a 4-5 star and the pool is always clean and the pool always has towels available. Great place to stay !!

Average overall, room was clean although smelled a bit musty upon arrival. The elevator service was limited to one of three so the wait time was extremely long and end up using the stairs

Very comfortable !

The cleaning staff at this hotel deserve a praise. I often check areas of the hotel that many miss. This room was well cleaned and wiped down in all areas: such as behind the bed, headboard , baseboards, and the bathroom crevices and corners looked brand new. The hotel first floor could use a bit of TLC including removing the carpets, but overall 4/5 star experience and great for the price and amenities. Thank you.
