It's super convenient to stay here if you're traveling via the JR Station; the rooms are tiny and plain but spotless.

No control of air conditioning from the room

The location is good and the breakfast service and all day coffee/tea service were great. The less amenity and less cleaning service in the room are eco-friendly. The biggest problem was that you can’t control the room temperature. The air conditioning system is either warm or cool, and it is controlled by the hotel as an entire building. It was the end of October and the air was cool. You feel really cold if you turn the fun on. If not, you suffer from stuffy air. This was the worst and intolerable experience.

The breakfast is very good, but the room is very outdated, carpet very old in the room.

The room was reasonable size. The pillow was low and hard.

Convenient to Gifu Station

Staff was friendly and efficient. Our 1st room was near the laundry and right above busy street so we asked to move. Front desk woman who spoke some english found us a much better location. Room was very small but clean. Beds and pillows were on the firm side, pillows tiny. Breakfast was not great but included. Booked this because it was very convenient to train station. If you're American, think Motel 6 level of hospitality.

Near Train Station

The staff at this hotel were very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very small, beds very firm, pillows tiny. Think Japanese version of Motel 6. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Location was great for train travel and price was reasonable. Air conditioning is central and it was not turned on yet, so our room was very hot in the beginning of April.

A typical business hotel...I've been staying here for almost 20 years. It's extremely convenient with a Family Mart on the ground floor and the JR station right across the street. Rooms are very small and bring a spare pillow as the ones they provide are extremely thin. The free breakfast is good but they've reduced the offerings somewhat from previous visits.

Business trip

Good hotel for very short stays. Close to station and also to the street full of bars and restaurants. Good value with a simple but good breakfast and free coffee from 2pm which is much appreciated!

Comfortable and easy to find hotel right in front of the train station. Hotel is quiet and not affected by the train noise. Breakfast was a modest spread with lots of carbs for hungry people.

All needs meet

I've stayed at the Comfort Hotel previously a couple of times and thought it was perfect especially for the value. It's comfortable, quiet and very clean. Unfortunately, this trip was to attend to a family emergency and not for leisure. They have a complimentary breakfast and good coffee. The location, across from the Gifu JR Train Station, was very convenient for all of my transportation options.

Clean, nice hotel near train station. Elevators could use improvements, no message light, you have to check with front desk.

Good hotel

The hotel room was small, clean and cosy. The breakfast served was very good. The staff were all very polite, however there were only very few who could speak english. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable hotel very near to train stations

I am pleasantly pleased by the Gifu Hotel Reception Counter staff's service standard and helpfulness. I was at the hotel early Dec. Unable to speak Japanese, Mr T Mai patiently listened to my request and called on my behalf to make a reservation at a tourist attraction near Inuyama Yuen Station.

Great Location, Great Service

Good location a couple of minutes walk away from the bus terminal and train station. Hotel comes with complimentary breakfast and coffee from 3pm till 12midnight.

Good location infront of JR Gifu station. Free wifi at the breakfast area but unfortunately I was not able to get the free wifi inside my room. Breakfast was very good.

Great place to stay in Gifu

Everything is perfect for this hotel when you stay for a business trip in Gifu City.

Convenient location

Right across the street from JR Gifu station. You can see it as you approach on the train so it is very easy to find. Very convenient for an overnight stay. Clean quiet room with good service. Breakfast was fairly basic, not the extensive buffet spread you come to take for granted at a lot of hotels in Japan.

Still a great place, but a little pricey.

This is the fifth time I've stayed at the Comfort Inn Gifu, and the only reason I gave it a four overall instead of a five is that the price has gone up considerably and I don't consider it a bargain any more. Having said that, it's still a place I'll stay if I'm in the area (which is basically every trip to Japan). There have been some minor renovations, like new light switches with built in pilot lights so you can see them in the dark, and the front desk and breakfast area has been rearranged. I will say this: the free breakfast is terrific. I used to skip it because I like the Vie de France at the JR Station so much, but this time I skipped VdF and ate in the hotel. They change it somewhat every day, and the choices are really tasty- they had "german potatoes" with sausage one morning which were great. There's also scrambled eggs, cereal, soup, onigiri rice balls, etc. The wireless internet in the room worked like a charm, but they still have a computer in the lobby if you want to print something. The staff, as always, is very helpful and friendly. It's still a great place to stay even if I think it's a little expensive.

Loved this hotel. Superbly located, it was easy to get anywhere from here. Good small eateries nearby plus plenty of shopping. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, well priced.

We stayed for 5 nights in Gifu, Comfort Hotel Gifu is such a fantastic hotel with good friendly services, and most important of all, healthy breakfast. We even gave the staff a bunch of flowers as our gester of thanks before we left.

Definitely Comfortable!

This hotel is an excellent budget choice. The Comfort Hotel is just outside the station, well-kept and the staff are extremely helpful. They even helped me to proof-read a speech I had to give in Japanese. The included buffet breakfast was of good quality with a large variety of pastries, soup, onigiri, etc to start your day. The room was comfortable with clean and reasonably modern decor. Our only small problem was that the bathroom was a little smelly when we arrived but the room even had a room/fabric deoderiser provided for our use. There was a TV, fridge and kettle with tea for our use in the room and further items could be borrowed from the front desk. If you're looking for a decent, comfortable hotel at a budget price in Gifu, this is it!

滞在中快適に過ごせました。 駅に近くホテルを中心に、あちこち出かけられました。 ホテルのなかは静かで、スタッフさんたちも、いい対応でした。 1つ不満は、パジャマです。 女性用の小さいサイズが有るべきと、思います。大きすぎると寒いです。

緊張など眠れない時間があったのですが、遅い時間もロビーのブックを閲覧でき、寛ぐことができました。駅前で、綺麗で、コンビニもすぐで便利でした。 全室禁煙なのですがどこからかタバコの煙が部屋に入ってきて辛かったです。喫煙場所とお掃除代金だけでなく他の利用者への配慮をインフォメーションあるともっと良いです。

子どもと一緒でも問題なく泊まれるのが良かったです。

自然体で泊まれるホテル

ホテルのお部屋の管理は、行き届いています。コインランドリーも有難いものでした。 スタッフの態度も、笑顔で対応され気持ちがよかったです。 肩肘はることなく、楽に滞在できました。 ただ部屋の洗面所の蛇口のしめが、私達高齢者には固かったです。レンタサイクルを借りたので、駐輪場がホテルにあれば助かります。 また、利用しますよ。

チェックイン前と後にも荷物を預かってもらえて助かりました。部屋の壁とドアが薄くて、結構音が聞こえるのがマイナス。でも、立地がとにかく良い。また岐阜に来る時はよろしくお願いします。

ビジネスホテルとしては、朝食も付いてとてもリーゾナブルな値段で、スタッフもテキパキしてよかった。

駅から近く、雨降りの悪天候でしたので助かりました。駅を見下ろす景色は特に良いです。ウェルカムドリンクのレモンウォーターは落ち着く味でしたし、朝食も美味しくいただきました。連泊したのでメニューは変わり映えを期待したいです。飛騨牛やローカルフードのモツを少しく入れてもらえていれば満足でした。部屋は高層階でありがたかった→窓周りの汚れが非常に気になりました。SDGZへの取組と思料しましたが、館内着及び衛生関連具の各部屋からの撤去は素晴らしいです。

Comfort Hotel Gifu 快適だよね

ロケーションが抜群です。織田信長の銅像も真正面に見えて良かったです。

朝食の種類が豊富でコストパフォーマンス良かった。機会が有れば次回も利用したい。

早くに到着してしまい、14時45分頃にチェックイン出来ないか確認したら嫌な顔一つせず受け入れて頂けました。 お部屋は寝に帰るだけならなんの不満もないレベルです。 駅からも近いですが、バイクで移動していた私には有料の駐輪場（バイク可）安くて1泊2日で500円が近くにあってとても利便性が高かったです。 ホテル単体ではバイクが置けるか不明ですが困りはしませんし、お値段もお安いのに朝食まで付いて助かりました。次回も機会があればまた利用したいです。
