Okay for the price in the area

Average place if you are just looking to spend the night and go out during the day. One of the cheaper options we found in the area. Not a lot of vegetation or vegan option in the breakfast. Nothing great to write about the beds. The bathroom, shower and hot water was good. Good shower if needed after a hike. Limited parking and very slow WiFi(barely 1 Mbps). 4pm checkin and 10am check (not 10:30 as hotels.com says) .

We had a very nice stay at this property. The location in N. Wales was very convenient for us, and we very much enjoyed the community around the town, as well. The room was very nice, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location, rooms and beds comfortable although bath towels need replacing. Very small and threads hanging off. Lovely views from the hotel. Breakfast was good variety , cooked breakfast could have been cooked a bit more , but personal taste maybe as sausage not browned much. Overall would recommend and would stay again

Perfect for our stay in Betws-y-Coed. Quiet, clean comfortable. The breakfast options are ideal, and we also took advantage of the Inn's pack lunch service when we went on day hikes. Very convenient to the central village, as well as trail heads. Please note, if you manage to arrive in Betws with a week's worth of dirty clothes like we did, this property cannot provide laundry service. There is, however, a small coin-op laundry in Llanrwst, which is the next town up the trail line. It really wasn't a problem for us to get there, take care of business, and return.

Better options in same area

Felt the owner was a little rude from the off. Got left alone but v basic set up, towel wasn’t changed nor was room tidied or cup and spoon replaced. Was charged more than was advertised and she was being pushy when I asked about it. I’d had a long couple of days and wasn’t up for an argument so reluctantly paid up and left. Wasn’t impressed at all, location is great but that is about all it has to offer.

Superb!!!!!!

The host was so friendly. She really looked after us. House is beautiful and room was so classy, cosy and warm. Felt really at home. You can really tell its a four star. Even has music in the breakfast room so it's not so silent. They have thought of everything. Even a ironing board and iron in your room. Absolutely stunning and such a reasonable price too. Breakfast was amazing! So much variation and the full welsh was cooked to perfection. It's the little attention to detail that really impressed us. Thank you and will definitely be back.

It was a lovely place, very welcoming host, very nice room - very clean. An excellent breakfast with lots of choice.

Stayed for 2 nights. Was going to arrive late so rang and spoke to host who explained where key etc would be. Room was on the top floor. Good sized room with everything you need. Very high standard of cleanliness. You have to pre-order breakfast by completing a form each night. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Enjoyable stay

Fantastic B&B in a perfect location. We had the family room with our 6 year old daughter. Beds were comfortable, facilities better than expected and breakfast was good. Catered for me as a vegan, and my other half enjoyed the cooked breakfast. I would go back again if in the area.

We stayed 5 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Its very nice little guest house with exceptional service and cooked breakfast. Its situated in heart of the town so everything was quite accessible. Room was very comfortable with nice view from window. Will definitely stay here again.

A place with incredible charm

Hazel, our host was very accommodating, providing useful local information about hiking. Breakfasts orders were filled out in advance and very delicious in a delightful dining room.

Lovely weekend stay

Lovely weekend stay. The location is perfect, just set back from the main road but very close to the pubs and few shops. The owner was very attentive and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, not excellent, but a lot of choice and I couldn't fault the service. We parked on site, round the back there is a private road that leads to a gated parking area. The surrounding roads where very busy and it is not clear from the info whether onsite parking is offered, but they were kind enough to let us park there. Overall it was great value and we would happily return.

Lovely stay, fab breakfast

Lovely hosts, lovely traditional accommodation with a super comfortable bed and beautifully presented ensuite shower room. Also delicious cooked to order English breakfast served at the time of your choosing. Great dvd library too if all you want to do is relax following a day exploring the area.

Absolutely lovely stay!

What a lovely stay! The host was welcoming, polite and gave us a clear introduction to the facilities. The room we stayed in was comfy and luxurious! The breakfast choices were varied and offered something for everyone. A very good night's sleep after a long drive up from the south-east of England.

Comfortable Room

Absolutely fantastic, the lady who met us was helpful both on the phone and all through our short stay. Wonderfully welcoming and overall a lovely and please t experience. The surrounding area was gorgeous and it was a shame we couldn't stay longer. The shower was a nice temperature and the feel of the room overall was very welcoming, homely and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept very well.

The property was lovely, great spacious room and ideal for the centre of the town. The hosts could not be more helpful.

We had a fantastic stay here. The food was delicious, staff very friendly, location amazing, Covid safe, and oh my god the bed was so comfortable! Next time we come to Betws-y-Coed we’ll definitely come back here. The only thing missing was a mirror in the bedroom, but it’s not that important when you’re living in outdoor gear.

Great B&B experience

We spend only 1 night here, so limited time. But everything was as described, room was comfortable and we got a lovely view as well. All amenities included in the room, fruit and lemonade concentrate were a great little touch. They even gave us take our breakfast super early as we were heading for a hill walk. The room and property was very clean. The B&B is 2min walk to the Main Street and restaurants for dining option. Try hangin pizzeria near the train station. Overall quite pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Could not fault it was excellent

Room 1 was spotless, bed was very comfy and the bathroom was sparkling with an excellent shower. Our hosts could not do enough for us and they dealt with the COVID-19 restrictions Really well, this meant breakfast option of eating on their patio which had stunning views and one of the highlights of the stay. Would definitely return

Amazing place

Comfortable Stay

Great one night stay at Coed-Y-Fron Guest House. Warmly greeted on arrival and personally shown to my room. A huge selection of DVDs to choose from, great to unwind following a long day. Coed-Y-Fron Guest House is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and I will for sure be returning for a leisure stay, not business as on this occasion.

Great location, lovely welcome, friendly staff, lovely freshly presented breakfast, good views from bedroom, well laid out bedroom, comfortable bed. Shame about the dated bathroom, which has had some poorly executed repairs and the shower pressure is pitiful, which was surprisingly as the sink tap pressure was fiercel!

We liked the room; it was comfortable with nice chairs and refreshments. We had enough space for our stuff and room to relax. The washroom seemed newly remodeled. We liked that we could request a bag lunch (for a minimal charge) to take with us while we hiked. Our hosts were friendly and helpful; we felt at home.

Comfortable and Quiet

Room was very comfortable and clean. It was tastefully decorated with a beautiful view overlooking the garden and church spire. The bed was comfortable. The room size was adequate with just enough space for two people. The only disadvantage was that it was on the top floor up two flights of stairs. My husband found carrying his luggage challenging.Hazel and Steve provided us with a very tasty breakfast and they were delightful hosts. Would recommend a stay.
