I have been a few times to Coco-Mat hotels and I like the soft modern design and friendly & helpful staff! The hotel is comfortable and in an excellent location. Hope to go back on my next Athens visit!

This stay was disappointing. 2 of the 3 nights the power in the room went out. We thought it was the hotel but it turned out to be our room only. It was 9pm so we didn’t think much of it. We “slept” in the Athens heatwave without AC or being able to charge phones or watch TV. The next morning at the front desk they said they’d fix it. The following night it happened again. This time we knew it was our room only and I called on my cell to have them fix it (since room phone didn’t work). I can understand issues but then to add to it, we had a GIANT cockroach in the bathroom. For a 4* hotel this was a very disappointing stay. Would not return.

I loved that the metro was only a 6 minute walk away. The staff was SO attentive and professional. They helped us with anything we needed. We also loved the breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and the wellness area was super nice with the sauna. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Excellent hotel and friendly staff

Not recommended! Rooms are tiny and located just in front of the elevator! I believe they can offer much better room then this because I booked 4 month earlier! VIP access is useless there.

Staff was very informative and courteous. The hotel location has excellent options for dining. Breakfast option had good selection and the staff there was very attentive. Parking is difficult if you planning on driving. The facility is in very good condition. The hotel entrance is around corner from the address listed in Expedia.

This small hotel was in a fabulous, walkable location. Very courteous staff. Wonderful restaurants and cafes in east walking distance. Quiet area. Just be aware that bathroom area is open to the bedroom - so if you and your partner have different sleeping schedules, this could be an issue for you.

Clean, modern with friendly staff. In a nice neighbourhood which was a 30min walk from the attractions or a quick taxi ride. I liked the indoor pool, steam room and breakfast on the terrace.

Yes, the coco-mat beds are lovely. But if you’re looking for sleep, skip this very noisy hotel. We were awakened by very noisy guests who walked in and continued to enjoy themselves at 1am and 3am! Not a sleep hotel!

A cosy boutique hotel in an excellent location close to the centre of Athens. Nice rooms with everything you need and the friendly and helpful front desk staff was the most pleasing aspect of my stay. The main disbenefit is the lack of privacy with CCT cameras pointing directly at the room door. They are everywhere! Eco toilet paper was like rubbing glasspaper on your behind and a pointless gimmick given they would be ineffective in reducing climate change.

The entrance to the hotel is so low-key that you do not know there’s a hotel there. Our taxi could not find the place going around the block several times until we finally were able to figure it out so our arrival was very frustrating. Once inside the hotel, it’s very cool, beautifully designed, and the amenities are excellent.

Beds are amazing! Great showers, and well appointed rooms. Staff is very helpful. No complaints.

A hip but reliable design hotel

Second time I’ve been here, still very enjoyable. Congratulations to the architect for this perfect blend of old and contemporary design architecture offering excellent facilities. Breakfast is fresh, the spa and swimming pool cozy and cool with everything needed including a decently sized pool. Service is relaxed and hip; although a big sluggish at the beginning, upon request they offered me with a smile a better room in the same category. The neighborhood is classy and perfectly located. On the negative, space is somewhat limited and public areas can be crammed, including the breakfast areas, (slow) elevators and spa. Rooms are not big on average and the view from most of them is blocked by close by (ugly) buildings.

The staff make this a wonderful hotel. Breakfast was great. Location was perfect. Room was good, except it needs more drawers for clothing.

The best. Staff were beyond helpful. This hotel is so cute and wonderfully designed. Amazing bathroom, rooms, shared locatins, pool. Everything was so nice. And the breakfast was simply amazing. We could not wish for anything better. If we ever go back to Athens this will be the first place we would check for availability.

Great location not far from Syntagma Square and the National Gardens. The room was spacious, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was good. Most of the offerings were cold options but there was still plenty of variety. The nearby area has a lot of shopping and dining.

Little piece of heaven

I love this hotel, I stayed there a few times over the years and the quality of sleep and the amazing bed mattresses they have is second to none. It’s location is fantastic and the staff are always eager to help.

I have only excellent remarks to share about this hotel. Now I understand why it was hard to book a room here at COCO Mat. From checkin the checkout, the staff made me feel welcome. They are all positive, personable, and friendly. More importantly, their meticulous attention to detail. I especially appreciated their wide variety of complimentary beverages, safety box that actually functions, fitness center in the basement, breakfast on the terrace, to name a few. The hotel itself is within a 10-minute walk from Evangelismo metro station. Elegant, quiet, comfortable and safe. I will only consider this hotel the next time I am in Athens.

Lovely smaller hotel in great location, small rooms but amazing beds and showers, loved the feel of this place, staff were great and no noise issues. Great stay, shame rhe pool was covid closed, but not hotel's fault.

Comfortable hotel with lovely beds and pillows. I didn’t get to use the spa but looked gods. Only criticism is lack of service after 11pm as if the restaurant is closed then there is no option for a drink or food.

Lovely hotel! Modern rooms. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was wonderful and made you feel welcome. They gave us recommendations for restaurants to go to for dinner. We had to check out early in the morning and they even gave us breakfast to go. We will certainly stay here again and at other Coco-Mat hotels.

It was very new or recently renovated. The staff were generally very helpful and the accommodating. The rooms were clean and new-looking, and they were very environmentally conscious. The breakfast was suburb in the open air, While the "Curb-Appeal" is non-existent, the inner warmth makes up for it. Parking in that part of town is a real issue if you have a car, but the Metro is nearby as well as several excellent museums.

Great location and the property is just magnificent. Would recommend it to everyone and would definitely want to stay again! The bed was amazing and the room was modern and taste fully decorated. Our room looked out into the courtyard with a nice waterfall feature. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Thanks for the great stay!

The Coco-Mat Jumelle was a wonderful experience I can recommend highly. It is centrally located; the breakfast is excellent; and, the hotel is clean and lovely. I can’t think of anything to not like about it. It’s another great reason to return for another vacation in Athens.

The staff was very polite and helpful, if I needed anything from reception it get it within 5 mins of asking. Very nice hotel would definitely stay here again! Was also able to watch Netflix and amazon prime from the TV.
